Touma walked into the small café inside the hotel they were staying at. There were twenty or so tables scattered around the place, with the majority being large enough to seat four people and the rest only designed for two. There was only one person using the café at that moment, which didn't really surprise Touma as it was half seven in the morning. He assumed the majority of people were asleep at this time and he would have been as well if the curtains in his room weren't so useless. The person was a girl with long, flowing, bright red hair, and was currently wearing a black t-shirt with a logo on her chest from a video game that Touma had seen innumerable times in shops, but he never had the money for. She also had a plain, white skirt, grey leggings and a pair of red trainers on her feet. It seemed she picked out whatever was at the top when she was getting dressed.

The small table in front of her had a comically large amount of food on it. It was so much food that Touma wouldn't have been surprised if she revealed her face was a mask and a certain sister in white was underneath.

He hadn't seen Index in a while, both had been far too busy recently after she was told she had to return to England. But she was apparently living with Stiyl now, so Touma knew she would be safe, and they were scheduled to be meeting in Suzuka in a few weeks during an event Mikoto was organising and was the face of.

Touma walked over to the girl.

"Morning Luna."

"Morning." she said, her voice muffled by the amount of food currently in her mouth.

"Please don't talk with your mouth full. It's disgusting. You're worse than Index." Touma reprimanded. It was a bit odd having to reprimand someone his own age for some as childish as that.

Luna swallowed her food and repeated her greeting.

"Morning."

"Better. Any word from England?"

"None. I think they're still interrogating him."

Luna was referring to a man named Ezio Scavo who had attacked the group on their first night in Paris. They were able to defeat him before Necessarius arrived and took him away for interrogation. Luna's siblings, Wendy and Ezra, had been waiting for the outcome of the interrogation but they got restless with the lack of information coming through. In the end, they decided to cut their holiday short and return to England, perhaps to try to get the information themselves. This left Luna alone in Paris and so she ended up sticking with Touma and his group for the rest of her holiday.

Luna continued to devour the mountain of food in front of her at a ridiculous pace and all Touma could do was watch. He swore to himself never to cook for both Luna and Index at the same time. In fact, he made it one of his top priorities, right behind never letting Mikoto drink any alcohol.

When Luna finally finished her food, she turned to Touma.

"So, where is everyone? Are they not up yet?" she asked.

"Mikoto is, but she's having a shower. I assume she'll be finished by now. Haven't checked on anyone else yet. They aren't here though, so I assume they're still in bed."

"Oh? You didn't join Mikoto in the shower? That's a wasted opportunity right there my friend."

Touma sighed.

"You're worse than my friends. No, I didn't 'join her'. We're too young for that."

Luna looked at him incredulously.

"That's a load of bull. Come on, we're gonna have a chat with Mikoto."

Luna grabbed Touma by the hand and dragged him through the hotel to his room and went to open the door.

"No! Luna, wait! You have to knock first!" Touma tried to warn her, but he was too late. By the time he managed to get his words out, Luna had already opened the door and was greeted with the sight of Mikoto half-dressed and in the process of putting her head through her black t-shirt with the face of a certain frog mascot on the chest.

Time seemed to freeze for a moment and Touma used that moment to plead his innocence.

"I tried to warn her! This isn't my fault!" he shouted.

"Look at the two of you! You're both cute as hell. How are you not all over each other in steamy situations!" Luna shouted, showing absolutely no contrition and making the situation one hundred times worse.

Sparks started coming of Mikoto's head.

"It looks like I've got a new volunteer for my 'How to knock on a door' workshop."

Before she could ask what the workshop was, a spear of lightning shot towards the girl with the bright red hair.

Three hours later, Touma was once again sitting at one of the tables in the café. This time he was at one of the larger, four person tables with Saten and Uiharu on the other side of the table and his own food in front of him. At the table next to them were his parents along with Misuzu Misaka, Mikoto's mother. They had been waiting for Mikoto and Luna to get down, but they were taking so long that they ended up ordering food without them.

"So, what is it exactly they're doing?" asked Uiharu

"It's Mikoto's 'How to knock on a door' workshop'." Touma explained.

"And that entails…?"

Touma looked at Uiharu with an expression that seemed to say, 'Please don't make me remember.'

Saten came to his rescue though when she announced the girl in question's arrival.

"There they are." she said pointing behind Touma.

Touma looked around to find Mikoto walking towards them in a significantly better mood than before. Behind her was Luna who looked like she had all her energy ripped out of her with a pump. She was slouched over and stumbling towards them whilst mumbling something about never wanting to see a door again.

"Will she be okay?" Saten asked as the two girls approached.

"Oh, she'll be fine. It only took Touma two days to stop mumbling when I did it to him." Mikoto answered.

"Mikoto, sweetie. What exactly did you do to her?" asked Misuzu looking at Luna with Pity.

"Didn't Touma tell you? It was my 'How to knock on a door' workshop."

"Yes, but what exactly is this workshop?"

"Knocking on doors before entering over and over and over and over and over again. And if you forget, she shocks you. If it's too quiet, she shocks you. If it's too loud, she shocks you. If it's too hard that you accidentally break the door down, she shocks you and then forces you to pay for repairs." Luna answered, mumbling, almost scared for her life.

"Wait, what was that last one?" asked Touma.

"Oh, right. Yeah, we've had to move rooms. I've already moved our stuff, so don't worry about that."

The group sweat dropped.

"How did you manage to break down the door, Luna? Did you use your power?" Saten asked.

"Hehe. No, I just got a little frustrated."

"What is your power anyway?" asked Uiharu.

"Sorry, that's a secret. Not even my friends or teachers know my power. Only my family."

"Not even your teachers? Then who's in charge of your ability development?"

"My parents are teachers as well, you know. They're in charge of it."

Having managed to change the subject, Luna had stopped mumbling and was now talking normally and more confidently.

"But how did you get the teachers to agree with it?" asked Mikoto.

"That is a long and complicated story, so let's just leave it at 'they didn't have a choice', shall we? Maybe one day I'll be able to tell you."

Seeing Luna unwilling to talk about this, Shiina decided to step in before anyone could press for an answer.

"Now, now. We're on holiday now. Mikoto, Luna, why don't you two have your breakfast and we can head out?" she suggested, unaware of the ridiculous portion of fodd Luna had eaten earlier.

The group spent the rest of the day enjoying the city and the festival, with Luna keeping her distance to Mikoto and trying not to anger the level 5.

And then failing miserably by taking the teasing of her and Touma to the next level.

A/N Hey everyone. Hope you had a good week. This chapter is a little shorter than usual, mainly because it was meant to be something to give you guys while I finished off the next arc. I was assuming I would be able to finish the 2nd draft of the next arc by next week but I'm no longer sure that's possible, so there may be a break next week, sorry about that.

In the previous chapter, I forgot to mention something, for the Satanic Church, I am not basing them off anything in particular, I'm just kinda making stuff up so that the story works better.

As for this chapter, I decided to use it to set one or two things up, including Luna wanting to keep her ability a secret. Honestly, I think it will become fairly obvious what her power is, but I want to practice having a character keep a secret and throughout the story slowly keep giving hints as to what it is, and then revealing it at a crucial moment.

Now, onto the comments.

GG Vegito: This is still the very start of the story, so there will be plenty of opportunities for that to happen. As for the teams, I'm planning on doing that a little more often. It won't happen every arc, there will be arcs where magic is nowhere in sight and there will be arcs where science is nowhere in sight, but I want the world to feel a little more connected and this is one of the ways I'm doing it.

Guest: When I started writing, I was in the middle of reading the yen press English translations, so I used their terminology which calls it Nitrogen Armour and I decided to keep that consistent throughout my stories. Sorry for the confusion.

Blanklow: Yeah, I wanted to give the villains room to grow as well, so I've already started giving them weaknesses and things that can be exploited. If I make it so that the villains have nowhere to grow, then they wouldn't feel like actual characters, they wouldn't feel incomplete. As for the board member, it was Mugino, sorry I wasn't clear about that, she was the only one Worst could see, so that's why she made that comment. I'll be explaining more about the board in the following arc.

And there we have it, hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. I'm not sure whether or not the next chapter will be up next week, but if it's not then it should be up the next week, unless something goes very wrong. So I hope hope you guys have a good week or two and I'll be back next time.
