Touma, Etzali, Worst and Umidori charged through the white halls of the facility with Etzali leading the way. They were on their way to a room they had identified on the map Worst had had downloaded earlier in hopes of finding Luna.

As they got deeper into the facility, they started running into more enemies, however, they weren't nearly as skilled as Skye and were easily dispatched by Etzali and Umidori.

Eventually, they reached a large room with a large screen on one of the walls and rows of computer consoles with about a dozen men and women operating them. Luna sat near the entrance to the room, hands tied behind her back and slowly shuffling herself towards the door, making sure no one was noticing.

She stopped as she noticed one of the men turning his head towards her and started looking around the room and noticed Touma and Etzali at the doorway. The man noticed them as well and immediately shouted, alerting the rest of the occupants of the room.

"Over there. One of the prisoners have escaped!"

"What the hell? Wasn't Skye meant to be dealing with them?!" another shouted.

"Who cares?! Shoot them!"

Within seconds, the room was filled with the sound of gunfire and bullets were flying. Touma was pulled out of the room by Etzali who started barking out orders.

"Kamijou, get your friend to safety! Worst, find a way to deactivate Capacity Down! Umidori and I will take care of these guys in the meantime!" he shouted before diving inside the room, firing at the men and women trying to kill him. Umidori followed closely, using her cyborg limbs to protect her vitals and close the distance between her and her opponents.

With the people inside concentrating on Etzali and Umidori, Touma crawled into the room on his hands and knees to where Luna was huddled into a ball, having somehow managed to dodge the mess of bullets fired so far. She wasn't far from the doorway, so Touma reached her pretty easily and dragged her back, unnoticed.

After getting her through the doorway and out of the firing line of the people inside, Touma looked at the handcuffs restraining Luna and realised he had no way of freeing her.

"Hey, Etzali! You wouldn't happen to have anything I can use to open a pair of handcuffs, would you?" he shouted back into the room.

A handgun slid out of the room shortly after.

"Don't you dare!" Luna screamed, immediately understanding what that was implying. "I want to keep my wrists, thank you very much!"

Touma didn't want to even pick the thing up, but he didn't have many other options, but as soon as he did, Luna kicked him in the face.

"Ow! Why?!" he shouted, glaring at Luna.

"We'll find another wa-" Luna stopped herself as Capacity Down suddenly stopped transmitting through the speakers. "Oh, thank god for that." she muttered, using her ability to destroy the handcuffs restraining her.

As she did so, bluish white light erupted from the room and the gunfire abruptly stopped. Both Luna and Touma peaked into the room to find Worst standing in the middle, sparks coming from her body and the dozen or so men and women lying on the ground, unconscious.

Touma was thankful he didn't see any bullet wounds, meaning Etzali wasn't able to kill any of them. He didn't particularly want to see any more dead bodies today and he knew Etzali wouldn't kill anyone already unconscious. At least not in front of him, anyway.

"Dammit, Worst. If you've destroyed the data here, Accelerator's gonna be pissed." Etzali sighed, exasperated.

"This Misaka knows what she's doing. She's offended that you have so little faith in her." Worst replied.

Luna ignored the argument and walked over to the nearest computer and started searching it.

"Looks like there wasn't much data here anyway. Most likely most of it's already been moved and deleted from here, they talked about destroying this place." she said. "All I can find is this. Mind you, I'm not best at collecting data, so if one of you guys can also have a look, that would be great."

As she said that she brought up the information on the large screen. It was some sort of list, with each entry having a green dot next to it.

"Worst, have a look, see if you can find anything?" Etzali asked.

"On it."

"Luna, what is this?" Touma asked, staring at the screen and the huge list of entries.

"I have no idea. Could be anything really. Experiments conducted in this facility? Personnel active here? We should download it and get it back to Academy City, dad might have an idea about what it is."

"Worst, you heard her. Get this downloaded to your PDA and we'll take it back with us." Touma said, keeping his eyes on the screen, trying to find some sort of clue.

"Already on it." she said, looking at her own computer screen and the PDA she had placed next to it. "This Misaka can't find anything else here, it's just like that outpost in the Arctic. Could they be connected somehow?"

"Worst, please be careful with who's around you when you say stuff like that." Etzali admonished, looking towards Luna.

"Oh. Oh well, too late now." Worst shrugged off Etzali's admonishment. "This Misaka has finished downloading everything by the way."

"Good, then we should get out of here. There are some people on their way that I'd rather not meet face-to-face." Luna said, already heading to the door.

"Luna, wait." Touma pulled on her shoulder, stopping her. "Who are these people? You've been terrified of them since Skye mentioned them in our cell."

Luna sighed.

"They're monsters. Worse than anything I've ever seen, completely insane and way too smart for their madness. They're comparable to the worst of the Kiharas, maybe even worse, and they're the leaders of this organisation." she explained but stopped. "Look, we don't have time for this. When we get back to Academy City, we can talk all about it, but first, I really want to get out of here."

Luna freed herself from Touma's grasp on her shoulder and walked out the door. Etzali right behind her.

"Come on, we should get going." Umidori said.

"Right behind you." Touma said, following her out the door.

Then group ran back the way they had come, with Etzali once again leading the way. It didn't take them long to get back to the corridor where Edward and Skye were fighting. As they reached the top of the stairs leading into the corridor, they could see both combatants beaten and bruised.

Edward was clearly in worse shape, sprawled on the ground, struggling to keep his eyes open. He had bruises all over his face and blood was coming from his nose. Skye was standing over him, the pirate hat at her feet, holding on to her stomach. Her face was a little swollen, she was breathing heavily and in no position to fight. So the last thing she needed was a group of enemies to show up behind her.

The guns that had been dropped by the men Etzali had killed were lying at the end of the corridor and Luna wasted no time, summoning those towards her using her ability. The guns flew towards her outstretched arm and would have hit Skye had she not dropped to the floor as soon as Luna raised her arm.

As the guns approached her, Luna let them drop to the ground, clearly not intending to use them at that moment.

"You don't look so good." she teased.

"I can still take you, you little brat." Skye sneered back.

She lunged at Luna, but her movements were sluggish and easy to predict due to her injuries. Luna was able to easily side-step the lunge and sunk her knee into Skye's stomach.

Skye, once again winded, tried to take a few steps back. However, she didn't get very far as Luna stepped in and swung her fist upwards, landing an uppercut into Skye's jaw who could do nothing to soften the impact and took the full force of Luna's strike, lifting her off the ground and sending her back by about a metre. And just like that, the fight, if you could even call it that, was over.

Skye glared at Luna from her position, lying on her back on the floor, still clinging onto consciousness. A feat Luna found impressive.

"What do we do with her?" Touma asked.

"We leave her." Luna responded. "We can't risk giving her a chance to use any hidden weapons and we don't have time to search her thoroughly for any."

"We could kill her." Worst suggested.

"Not a chance." Touma shot her down immediately.

"Softy." came Worst's retort.

The group walked past the grounded Skye and Etzali picked up Edward, who had lost consciousness at some point, whilst Umidori picked up the pirate hat at his feet and put it on her head, maybe to hide the cat ears that she so hated.

The group exited the corridor, on their way to the surface, but before she left, Luna looked back at Skye who had managed to roll onto her stomach. She was trying to crawl towards Luna, hell bent on stopping them from escaping and throwing them all into the nearest cell. It was honestly quite scary.

However, it was a futile effort, and she could only watch as Luna left her to catch up with Touma and the others.

The rotors cut through the air as it propelled the helicopter towards the underground research facility. The outside of helicopter made it look like one of the old military ones that would always appear in those old American war movies. All that was missing was the song 'fortunate son' and the image would have been complete

The inside of the helicopter looked far more modern with a screen connected to the back wall and leather seats fitted for the passengers. The floor was carpeted, and sockets had been fitted between the seats. Even the cockpit had been successfully renovated to make it easier for the pilot to control.

If an American War movie enthusiast had seen it, they'd probably be tearing their hair out screaming about how they've ruined the whole thing, but the owners didn't particularly care. They had wanted this and there would be no arguments about it.

In the passenger seats were an old man and woman. Both had thinning grey hair and they each had a ring on their left ring finger. The man was currently fiddling with something on his PDA having recently finished a call using it. The woman was staring out of the window, looking like a child who had finished playing with their favourite toy and now had nothing to do.

"Hmm." the man said.

"What is it now?" came the response from the seat next to him.

"It would appear the intruders have been successful in freeing Luna and young Skye seems to be out cold."

"Peaking at her vitals again, Valdis? That's quite rude you know."

"Now, now Thana. Our children's wellbeing should take priority, haven't you learned from the others?"

"Of course I've learned." she snapped. "I also learned that we can't keep them under control if we're too invasive."

"Relax, sweety, this just tells me her critical vitals, nothing else. She agreed to it, you know."

The woman sighed.

"Very well, if she agreed to it, then you can continue. But, if she's unconscious, that means she's been defeated. Academy City shouldn't have people that strong."

"Perhaps it wasn't someone from Academy City. Perhaps that Edward boy has some strong friends?"

"Perhaps. What now?"

"I believe Arata should be in fighting shape by now, I'll send him in to see what's happening."

"And what if he shows up?"

The man smiled.

"If he shows up, we can have some fun."

A/N And there we have it. A bit of an action-packed chapter this week, so I hope you liked it. Unfortunately, this A/N will have to be a little short as I'm having trouble with my computer, so I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and that you have a good week. Bye.
