Garrus couldn't believe what was happening to him. The life of a C-Sec was never easy, but he never expected his life to take a turn like this.

His boss told all officers to be on the lookout for the mysterious individuals calling themselves the Avengers that saved him and many other officers, on the account that they had literally know information on them. Executor Pallin was very strict on protocol and following the rules, so he was not a fan of any form of vigilantism.

So, you can imagine his surprise when he all of a sudden got transported to the top of some random rooftop where those same individuals were looking at him.

"Sorry about the surprise drop in, but it was the only way we could talk without wandering eyes watching us." Ben said as he held a hand out for Garrus to take.

Garrus did eventually take it, but he still had a stunned look on his face. "H-How did...how d-did you just do that?" Garrus stuttered.

"Simple portal opening spell." Vincent said casually.

"I'm sorry, what?" Garrus questioned, still feeling overwhelmed.

"Yeah, this can be a lot to take in, but trust me it'll get better." Erik said with a smile. He can probably tell that all of this was a little overwhelming. After all, it was a little overwhelming for his mom and her friends to realize that his soon to be dad was an alien from an advanced Viking race.

Garrus took a few calming breaths, before addressing them. "You know, by all rights, I should call my boss, considering he wants you guys apprehended."

"But..." Ben trailed off, thinking there was more.

"But I'm willing to at least talk to you guys first, and see where we go for there." Garrus said as he held out his hand. "Once again, thanks for the hand you gave me and my men."

"It's no problem, we're just happy to help." Ben said as he shook hands with the alien officer.

"Now we're hoping that you could help us." Vincent said, wanting to get down to business.

"With what, exactly?" Garrus asked curiously.

"You see, we're kind of stranded here and we need resources." Erik said.

"Wait, how can you be "stranded" on the Citadel?" Garrus asked in confusion. The Citadel is a literal planet-sized space station with tons of C-Sec officers, and even more civilians. No one can simply be stranded here without anybody high up knowing.

"It's kind of a long story, but here goes." Ben said as he began telling their tale.

Garrus listened on as they each took a turn explaining their situation. Who they are, where they come from, and how they got here. Garrus' eyes slowly began to widen as they continued speaking, finding each and every word completely bizarre and unbelievable.

"And that's pretty much how we got here." Ben said, finishing up the story.

Garrus took a few seconds to gather his thoughts before speaking up. "Yeah, I can't see any of that being true."

Well, it is." Vincent stated.

"Alternate realities, parallel universes, superheroes and villains? This all sounds a little far fetched, even for my line of work." Garrus said, still in doubt about their story. "So I'm gonna need just a little more proof them just your word."

"Alright then." Vincent said as he walked right over to him, slightly unnerving Garrus.

"Hey, hey, what are you-"

Garrus never got a chance to finish as Vincent did a palm strike right on Garrus' chest, producing some bizarre results. Vincent used his magic to astral project his soul out of his body, causing Garruss' spirit to float there for a moment, as he watched his body fall as if it was in slow motion. Garrus looked at his hands in disbelief as he could see right through them, and everything appeared to be in shadows. Slowly, his astral form seemed to get sucked back into his body, stunning him immensely.

"Spirits...what the hell was that?" Garrus asked in disbelief.

"I just simply separated your body from your astral form." Vincent said simply. "If you need further proof, allow me to open your mind." Vincent quickly placed his thumb on top of Garrus' head, crating a spell to transfer knowledge into his mind.

Instantly, Garrus was greeted with images that made no sense to him, but then it slowly became much clearer. He saw images of Earth, even though he's never been he has seen codex videos on what it's like ere and he's seen pictures from some human colleagues at C-Sec. These images of Earth, however, showed that the technology was not as advanced as it was today. Humans didn't carry any Omni-tools, nor did they have any skycars, heck, their advancements in space travel isn't even nearly as advance as it is today.

What really surprised him wasn't the technology, it was these images of these specific individuals that appeared in his head. These images comprised of a man wearing armor that allows him to fly, a man in red, white, and blue wielding a shield as a weapon, a man who could summon lightning with a hammer, a large hulking man with green skin with incredible strength, a beautiful woman wielding dual pistols, and a man using a bow and arrow.

The images soon changed with even more joining this group of amazing people. Each of these new appearances held a variety of gadgets and abilities, some more amazing than others. Garrus could see them fighting other strange adversaries, whether it be other humans wielding bizarre technology, or aliens that he's never even seen before.

Needless to say, everything Garrus was seeing was unbelievable...but really amazing.

When the images stopped, Garrus gasped as he collapsed onto the ground on his hands and knees.

"Jesus, Vince, could you take it easy with that." Erik scolded as he helped Garrus back to his feet.

"What? He needed more convincing evidence so I gave it to him." Vince said simply.

"You completely whammied him." Ben said.

"He'll be fine, just give him a few seconds." Vince said.

Garrus took a few calming breaths before addressing them again. "So...all that really..."

"Yep, it all happened." Ben said as he stepped forward with a concerning look. "You okay?"

"I'm alright, just...just give me a moment." Garrus said as he stood straighter after taking another deep breath. "I've seen some things working as a C-Sec officer. Some I could never forget, some I wish I could forget, but I've never seen anything like that."

"Yeah, we've got a strange life." Ben said with a chuckle.

"But why tell me this? Why come to me?" Garrus asked in confusion.

"Before I teleported us away, I used a type of spell that delved into the psyche of an individual. Kind of let's me know if someone is trust worthy or not." Vince said.

"You read my mind?!" Garrus said in shock and kind of accusingly.

"No, I would use a spell like that without someone's permission." Vince said in his defense.

"Okay...so why me?" Garrus asked in confusion.

"We needed someone who can help us. Someone who can give us a real layout of the environment we found ourselves in." Erik explained. "There's only so much we can learn from using vid-logs and that virtual intelligence lady."

"And from what Vince was able to deduce, you seem to be a trustworthy kind of guy." Ben said.

Garrus couldn't really think of anything else to say. He honestly had no idea how this conversation was going to go when he found himself in this position. Sure, he knew these people were unlike anything he's ever seen before, but he never expected to come from a whole other reality.

"So...are you going to call your boss to arrest us?" Erik asked slowly.

"And tell him what? That the extraordinary individuals are actually beings from a completely separate reality from our own? Yeah, I'm sure that C-Sec, hell, even the Council would have a field day with that." Garrus said sarcastically.

"So then, will you help us?" Vince asked.

"Sure, I'll help you out." Garrus answered. "After all, if you haven't saved my ass back there, I wouldn't be here right now. Plus, not every C-Sec officer is like my boss. You saved a lot of officers back there, so you've made more friends than just me."

"Well, that's good to know." Ben said.

"Wait, I don't think I ever caught your name." Garrus noted.

"I'm Ben Parker, but in this uniform I am Spider-Man." Ben said as he shook hands with Garrus.

"Vincent Strange, also Doctor Strange." Vince introduced.

"Erik Foster." Erik introduced as well.

"What, no fancy code name?" Garrus asked.

"He doesn't really have a code name." Ben said with a chuckle.

"I never really needed one. My dad never had one." Erik said.

"Yeah, but your dad was a literal god who could use a magic hammer and summon lightning. He never needed a secret identity since he was too flashy."

"Spirits..." Garrus said, running his hand over his face. "Gods, cosmic wars, alternate realities...not exactly what I'd call a typical day."

"You'll get used to it, buddy." Ben said.

"So, how exactly are supposed to get-" Garrus tied to say, but was interrupted when Vince waved his fingers and orange sparks appeared in thin air, creating a portal, causing Garrus to stare deadpan at it. "Right...that."

So all four of them stepped through the portal until it disappeared.

For the last four days, the three stranded Avengers have stayed with Garrus until he can pull a few strings and work up some new background files for them. His place wasn't that big, but his neighbors were on vacation so they asked him to watch their apartment for a few months, so Ben will bunk with him while Vince and Erik will stay at the temporary vacant apartment.

Once the new ID's come in, the three Avengers will look at any jobs that are based on their skills. They needed to set up funds until they can find a way back home, which Vince was working very hard at.

Currently, the four of them were walking down the nice streets over at one of the Wards of the Citadel, just trying to get the lay of the land.

"My friends over at Processing said your new files will be ready in a few short days." Garrus informed, walking alongside his new friends.

"We really appreciate this, Garrus." Ben said gratefully.

"What'd you tell them?" Vince asked curiously.

"What could I tell them?" Garrus asked sarcastically. "'Hey, could you make me three identity files?' 'Sure, who're they for?' 'Oh, you know, three super powered individuals from an alternate reality. You know, just another typical day.'"

"Yeah, I guess that would be hard to explain." Erik said, as he had what appeared to be an umbrella strapped to his back.

Ben looked to the side and saw what looked like a large one-eyed spider alien walking up to a console and pressed a few buttons. Ben was about to walk up to it, but Garrus held him back.

"Best to just leave them alone." Garrus said.

"Why? What is that thing?" Ben asked, catching the others attention.

"It's called a Keeper. Their species seem to do nothing but monitor the systems within the Citadel, making sure everything is up and running. We don't know much about them, only that they were here before the Asari founded the Citadel." Garrus explained.

"Why don't we just it what it's doing?" Ben asked.

"That won't work. They are either unable to speak or they just don't want to." Garrus answered. "Whenever one hits, shoots, or even touches them, they just explode."

"Seems a little suspicious, the fact that they're just running around and we have no idea what they're purpose is." Vince said, eyeing the Keeper with suspicion as it walked away.

"Not much we can do about it, since it was declared illegal to interfere with the Keeper's." Garrus said before glancing at the umbrella strapped to Erik's back. "You know people are looking at you funny because of that."

"They'd look at me like I was crazy if they saw me carrying a sword." Erik pointed out with a smirk.

"...Fair point." Garrus said as he couldn't fault him there.

"Luckily it's a simple disguise spell. Same one I used to mask our outfits when we first arrived here." Vince said.

Garrus sighed as he ran his hand over his face. "Spells...super powers...other universes...even after everything you told me, it's still too bizarre."

"Don't worry, you'll get used to it." Ben said with a chuckle.

"Well, until then, how about I treat you guys for a drink?" Garrus suggested with a smile. "I know this great place called Chora's Den. Heard some good things about it."

"Sure, I could go for something." Ben said with a shrug.

"Nice to see how the drinks here compare to the drinks back home." Erik said with a smile.

"Just, whatever you do, Garrus, don't make a drinking bet with this guy." Vince said while pointing his thumb at Erik.

"Why not?" Garrus asked.

"This guy could drink almost anybody under the table." Ben said laughing while Erik puffed up chest with pride.

"That sounds like a challenge to me." Garrus said with a challenging smirk.

"It's your funeral." Erik said with an equal smirk as they walked off following Garrus.

Ben looked confused as he glanced at what Garrus was wearing. "I'm curious, Garrus, do you always wear that armor when you go out? Even outside of you C-Sec shift?"

"It never hurts to be prepared." Garrus said.

They stopped walking, along with every other bystander walking along, when the building on their right showed a large display screen with a news report with an Asari news anchor appeared speaking.

"Good evening, this is Neema Veri'tivas of Citadel News. Breaking news, a building over in the Presidium just got taken over by a squad of armed humans." The screen showed a tall building where the camera zoomed in to show three humans wearing armor and armed with rifles. "We have Emily Wong on location who is going to give us the full details. Emily, what do you see?"

The screen then changed to show a human woman at the base of the building with C-Sec officers in the background. "Thanks, Neema. What I'm seeing is chaos here, as C-Sec is constantly trying to establish communication with these individuals, but they refuse to speak to them, and say that they will only talk with the Council. It is confirmed that they have hostages and any attempts for C-Sec to try and rescue them has result in their lives being threatened if any of them step forward.

The three Avengers, plus one C-Sec officer, all stared at the screen in slight horror about the situation, before one-by-one there looks changed to determination.

"Like I said, it never hurts to he prepared." Garrus said as he alien walked off.

"We're coming with you." Ben said as he and the other Avengers members followed.

"Wait." Garrus said as he stopped their movements. "My boss wants to bring you guys in. If you go there and you're seen he could have a whole squad there to have you arrested."

"Yeah, well, he could try." Erik said with confidence.

"Look, you guys are good guys, and I don't want you guys to up in prison because you want to help." Garrus warned. "You guys aren't Spectres, so you aren't able to do this without consequences."

"Sorry Garrus, but we have to do this." Ben said with determination. "This is who we are. We're Avengers, when we see a situation going south we can't ignore it."

"The longer we talk, the more of a risk those hostages might not make it." Vince pointed out.

"Face it, Garrus, we're going and you can't stop us." Erik pointed.

Garrus sighed as he understood their reasoning. "I probably couldn't stop you even if I tried." Garrus muttered to himself before speaking up. "Alright, we'll take my skycar. We'll have to break a few traffic laws if we want to get there fast, but that's hardly the point."

"There's no need." Vince said as he stepped forward. "Do you know exactly where that tower is?"

"Yeah, I drive buy it quite a lot." Garrus answered in confusion.

Vince placed his hand on Garrus' forehead before slowly pulling back, and extracted a string of gold energy from his head. He spun his hand like heroes when he opens a portal, which the golden string followed his movements before a portal opened up from it. For the portal they could see the tower on the news in the distance.

"What did you do?" Garrus said in confusion and slight awe.

"Usually, whenever I create a portal, I have to think about a certain location that I've been to and picture it in my mind so I can go there." Vince explained. "However, years ago, me and my dad came up with this theory that allows to create portals based on locations from other peoples memories."

"That's pretty useful." Ben said feeling impressed.

"Okay, I'm starting to like magic." Garrus said with an eager grin as they all stepped forward through the portal.

At the building where the hostages were being held, there was a crowd of not just C-Sec officers, but a crowd of civilians that were being blocked off from the perimeter. The Special Response Division were already on scene, trying to get a hold of the situation.

"Please, the public needs to know!" Emily Wong exclaimed as she was talking to a Turian C-Sec officer.

"Ma'am, please, I need you to step back." The Turian officer said placatingly.

"We're just wondering what you are doing to reunite the hostages with their loved ones." Emily Wong said.

Another Turian officer walked up and spoke to a Salarian officer working on his Omni-tool. "Anything yet?" The Turian officer asked.

"Attempting communications now." The Salarian said as he pressed a few more buttons and a screen popped up with a human man addressing them. "This is Officer Esos of C-Sec, we want-"

"Unless your about to say 'the Council is on their way' then shut the hell up." The man interrupt.

The Turian stepped forward to address them. "Listen, we want assurance that hostages are safe. Maybe then we can work something out."

"Listen, Turian freak, we made our demands simple! Either you give us the Council in one hour, or we start putting holes in heads!" The man exclaimed before he cut the feed.

"Well, that went well." The Turian said sarcastically with a tired sigh. If they don't think of a plan soon enough, they're going to have a body count.

Elsewhere, on top of a building across the way, the Avengers stood by and watched as Garrus knelt down and looked through the scope of his sniper. Each of the Avengers were out of their civilian uniforms and in their respective hero outfits.

"So, you think this Council will strike a deal?" Spider-Man asked.

"Doubtful. The Council may have the Citadel races best interest at heart, but they're pretty stubborn in their beliefs and their own races self interest. Plays they don't really involve themselves in the affairs of C-Sec unless it affects them." Garrus said as he checked his scope to assess the situation. "Okay, we have four floors with armed assailants with the second one on the top has the hostages."

"How many on each of those floors?" Erik asked.

"I can't tell, but I can tell that each of those floors have at least one sniper keeping watch." Garrus said as he holstered his sniper. "We can't fly over them with my skycar, it's too loud and they'll see us coming."

"What if it's something smaller and moving too fast for me to spot?" Erik asked.

"It could possibly work, but what is-" Garrus tried asking, but paused when he saw Erik take a few steps back while bringing out his sword.

Erik took a deep breath before running forward and jumped off the building. Before Garrus could try and stop him, and question why the other two wouldn't try and stop him, Erik thrusted his sword upward in midair and was all of a sudden flying right towards the building. He flew right above the building before landing right on top of the roof, then wave at them with an easy going smile.

"Oh...of course...he can fly to." Garrus said in stunned disbelief before turning to Spider-Man. "Can you also fly?

"Nope, I can only swing." Spider-Man said jovially before going back to business. "Well, he can handle the top floor, so that'll leave us with the others."

Yeah, and they'll still see us coming and we can't just walk through the front door, not with C-Sec keeping the perimeter down there in check." Garrus pointed out.

"I've got an idea." Vince said as he summoned a large Tao Mandala and stepped right on it. "Hop on."

Ben instantly hopped on, but Garrus was a little hesitant. He stepped on it a couple of times and sure enough the magic circle did feel like solid ground. So he jumped on and took a deep breath to reassure himself.

"Even after all the stuff you've shown me that you can do, I don't think I'll ever get used to it." Garrus said.

"Trust me, compared to my dad I'm still just a beginner. Now, one last thing..." Vince waved his hands and soon, what appeared to be a fog washed over them. "It's a cloaking spell. This will make us invisible to everyone except us."

"Cool, just like Harry Potter." Spider-Man said.

"It's not like Harry Potter." Vince argued.

"When you explained it, you used the words 'cloak' and 'invisibility' in the same sentence. It's just like Harry Potter." Ben countered with a smirk.

"It's...well...it's not Harry Potter." Vince groaned as he couldn't really think of anything to say.

Garrus looked between the two of them in confusion before speaking up. "Um...who's Harry Potter?"

"We'll tell you later." Ben said as they soon floated towards the window of the floor that was two levels down from the bottom floor where the armed thugs were. Vince waved his hand and opened a portal inside, which they stepped inside.

"Okay, we should save the ones holding the hostages for last. If any of there friends come in for backup it's going to put them in danger." Garrus cautioned.

"Well, we better make sure they don't hear anything." Vince said as he gathered some magical energy in his hands before slamming it on the floor. A wave of golden energy washed over the inside and outside of the building. "There, that should keep them unaware."

"What was that?" Garrus asked.

"Think of it like an EMP, but for sound. Now, any noise coming from below or above the hostages won't be heard." Vince answered.

"Of course, because apparently, magic can do anything." Garrus said while shaking his head.

Spider-Man looked above at the ceiling and noticed an air vent. He fired a webline and yanked it off its hinges before jumping up and stuck to the ceiling. "You guys take care of the ones directly above us, while I take care of the ones directly above them." Spider-Man said before lacing a finger over the comms. "Erik, think you can take care of the ones directly below you?"

"Are you kidding? It's a piece of cake." Erik said over the comms.

"Just be careful up there." Vince cautioned.

"Are you kidding? It's me we're talking about." Spider-Man said jovially before crawling through the vents.

"Think he'll be okay?" Garrus asked.

"Yeah, he may be a hotshot sometimes, but he's got the skills to back it up." Vince answered as they made their way up the stairs.

A soon as they made it to the door that led to the room the thugs were in, Garrus slowly opened it as to not make a sound. He unholstered his sniper rifle and looked through the scope. He caught sight of at least a dozen thugs, all armed to the teeth with weapons and armor.

Garrus gestured with his fingers, which Vince nodded in agreement, then Garrus took the shot and nailed one of the thugs. They all looked in surprise as the door burst open and out came Garrus and Vincent. They all shot at them, but Vince created a barrier that protected them.

The thugs were all stunned by this, which gave Garrus the time to take out a few more. Vince created a spear with his magic and threw at one of them, pinning him to the wall. As Garrus took out a few more, Vince then used his magic to create red energy chains and tied up the rest of them.

(AN: Please keep in mind, the Marvel aspect of this story comes from the MCU, which means that heroes have killed before. The heroes from this story will do everything they can to avoid killing, but some of them are the offspring of soldiers and warriors who have killed before, so they'll only do it when absolutely necessary. Except for Ben, since he's the son of Spider-Man who wouldn't kill for any circumstances, except for that Instant Kill thing from Endgame.)

"That's it for this floor." Vince said.

"Let's hope the others will have just an easy time as we did." Garrus noted.

Spider-Man crawled through the vents to the next floor in order to get the drop on those thugs. Despite being in another universe, all of this is greatly familiar to him. Guess it doesn't matter which reality you're in, there's bound to be crooks and criminals everywhere you go.

Spider-Man wasn't sure how, but he could just tell which direction he needed to go. His dad said that his spider sense, which his Aunt May used to call his Peter tingle, can sometimes act as a radar if you focus hard enough. So he let his senses take direction until he found his way at the end of the vent. He peered outside and saw that the room was crawling with armed men.

"Hey, haven't back from any of the others. Think something's going on?" One of the thugs asked his friend right by him.

"Don't know, let me check." One of the thugs said a he brought out his Omni-Tool. "Sitwell, do you copy?" He didn't get any response, which frustrated him. "Sitwell, come in!" Again, he received no answer, which caused him to turn to the sniper by the window. "Something's not right. Has anyone compromised the building?"

"Those C-Sec dogs are still holding back, and none of the others have reported anything." The sniper responded.

"That's what worrying me." The thug said as he unholstered his rifle. "I'm heading downstairs to see what's going on."

"Not on my watch." Spider-Man muttered before he kicked the vent open and dropped down. "Sorry people, offices are closed. There's a better way to ask for overtime, you know."

What the-" One of the thugs said before a webline shot at his face and he was yanked face-first into the floor, knocking him out.

A few more thugs drew their guns and tried to fire at him, but Spider-Man shot a few weblines and yanked them out of their hand, then proceeded to hit them in the heads with their own weapons. One of the thugs tried to punch him, but the hero maneuvered out of the way and kicked him, sending him flying right into another guy. Another thug tried to attack him, but he back-flipped out of the way, then springboard back at him and kicked right into the ground.

A few more thugs came at him and were about to shoot him, but Spider-Man flipped a switch on his we shooters and shot out a small silver disk that stuck right to the ground in front of their fee and was flashing blue. The thugs were confused by this, but when it stopped flashing blue it exploded into a huge glob of web that ensnared them and tangled them up.

"What the hell?!" One of the thugs exclaimed.

"Get this shit off me!" Another thug exclaimed as he tried to untangle himself, but it proved to be too sticky.

"Now, now, language." Spider-Man chastise with a wave of his finger. "There's no need for language. I think you earned yourself a timeout.

"And you earned a bullet to the head!"

Spider-Man's senses flared as he flip-jumped out of the way to avoid getting shot by another thug using his rifle. He continued to fire his weapon, but when he had to reload the thermal clip, Spider-Man jumped forward and kicked the weapon out of his hands.

The thug just stared at him for a moment in stunned silence before speaking up. "H-How did y-you do that?" He stuttered in shock.

"Oh, you know, eat your vegetables." Spider-Man with a shrug before uppercutting the guy, then shot a webline while he was still in midair and slammed him right on the floor. He finished him off by webbing him up to the floor so he wouldn't get away when he woke up. "Well, that takes care of them."

Soon Garrus and Vince came up and looked around at the thugs who were either unconscious or stringed up by the webs.

"You just can't help but make a mess, can you?" Vince said with a smirk.

"Hey, at least it's effective." Spider-Man said with a shrug.

"How long will they be like this?" Garrus asked.

"Usually lasts about a few hours. More than enough time for us to save the hostages." Spider-Man replied.

"Speaking of which..." Vince said as he gestured to an emergency opening leading to the next floor. They all nodded and soon made their way up to the next floor.

"Hopefully Erik will meet up with us in time." Garrus said.

"Are you kidding, he's probably finishing up as we speak on his floor." Spider-Man said with confidence.

Sometime before...

Erik looked around the room in search of an opening, but he couldn't find any signs of air vent as an entrance point. There wasn't even a door leading up to this roof. The others made it inside the building, so it was time for him to do his part.

"Well, stealth was never really my strong suit." Erik said as he readied his sword.

Erik gave a few slashes at the roof, leaving a few gashes, then used his strength to stomp a hole right through it. He jumped down then proceeded to an emergency exit to head down to the next floor. Erik soon made his way to the next floor and peaked through the door. He saw there were at least a dozen armed men on the floor, so it was lucky Vince silenced the building, cause was gonna get loud.

Erik took a few steps before giving a strong kick, sending the door crashing into three of the thugs.

"Hello." Erik said with a smirk as he holstered his sword.

"Who the hell are you?!" One of the thugs exclaimed as all of them pointed their guns at him.

"The guys who's gonna kick all your asses." Erik said as he punched the palm of his hands.

All of the thugs fired their guns at him, but Erik used his good reflexes to grab a desk and used it as a shield. When all of the thugs had to reload their thermal clips, Erik threw the desk with his enhanced strength, which hit about three of the thugs.

Erik dashed forward with great speed and backhanded one of them into the wall, while kicking the other guy next to him. Once again he charged at another group of thugs, and it didn't matter if they were wearing armor or not. Once he had someone in his sights, with just one punch or kick he easily bashed them away. The armor they wearing broke like tissue paper as each blow landed.

There was only one guy left standing and he hastily reached for a shotgun. "Okay, pal, your dead!"

Erik still smirked as he drew his large sword. "Well then, I'm waiting."

The thug just snarled in anger before he fired his shotgun, which Erik used the flat side of his sword to block the shot. The thug was stunned silent as he then fired a few more shots, but met with the same result with Erik blocking each shot with his sword. Erik swiped his sword and sliced the gun in half, while finishing him off with a punch to the face.

"Now that they're taken care of, the hostages..." Erik said as he made his way to down to the next floor.

/

The last group of thugs all kept vigilant as they waited for the next call by C-Sec. All around them were the hostages; consisting of Asari, Turian, Salarian, and even a few Volus. Many of them tried to stay strong, but some looked like they were close to crying.

"Any news yet?" One of the thugs asked their boss.

"Nothing, but they've got half an hour left before left before we start making room." The leader said as he scanned the room.

"Earth-clan." A Volus said nervously as he stepped forward. "Please, there is no need for such violence. I, sure we can work something out."

The leader of the thugs didn't say anything at first, but then he took the blunt end of his rifle and hit the Volus with it, sending him back to the ground.

"If you know what's good for you, you'll shut the hell up." The leader said before pointing his gun at the Volus' head. "You know, I've often wondered what kind of ugly face you Volus' might have."

"Please...please let us go..." One of the Asari spoke up with tears in her eyes. "We have families..."

"Is that right? Well then you better hope your beloved Council contacts us, or else you might not see them again." One of the thugs said before turning to their leader. "Hey Maddicks, you think the Council might take us seriously of we kill one of them." That statement caused all of the hostages to stiffen with fear.

The leader, now named Maddicks, hummed in consideration at the idea. "It would send a statement, letting them know we mean business."

As they were talking, right outside the door, the three Avengers and Garrus peaked inside and saw that the situation was starting to take a turn.

"I can get a clear shot at the leader." Garrus said as he prepared his sniper rifle, but Vince placed his hand on it.

"Too risky. One miss, one slip up, and the hostages might die." Vince warned.

"And we can't just charge in, as that will put the hostages in danger as well." Spider-Man noted.

"So then what do we do?" Erik asked.

"Simple, we take away their advantage." Vince said with a smirk.

Vince waved his hands and multiple small portals appeared in front of them, while at the same time multiple small portals appeared right above each of the thugs in the room. One of the hostages, a different Asari from before, looked up and was stunned by what she saw.

"Hey, what are you staring at?!" One of the thugs said as he saw her expression. He looked up as well and was stunned by the sight if the small portal. "What the-"

An energy whip came out of that portal and wrapped around the thug, then proceeded to pull him right through it before he disappeared.

"Stone?!" One of the thugs exclaimed as all of them noticed the exact same portals opening up above each of them.

All of a sudden, weblines and energy whips shot out of each portal and latched onto the thug's weapons, then yanked them out of their hands and through the portal. Before anyone can comment on what transpired, the door to this floor burst open and Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Erik, and Garrus came rushing into the room and charged right at them.

Spider-Man punched a thug right in the face, following it up with a kick to the guy next to him. Another thug tried to punch him, but the hero maneuvered out of the way, then webbed him in the face. The thug tried to get the stuff off his face, but that left him open for Spider-Man to deliver a spin kick, knocking him out.

Four guys tried to attack Erik, but he just easily batted their punches away. Compared to a fully trained Asgardiam warrior, heck, compared to Valkyrie when she trained him, these guys are a cakewalk. Erik simply grabbed one of their punches and kicked him away, sending flying and crashing into the wall. He grabbed another by his chest plate armor and slammed him right into the ground before tossing him up into the air, which caused him to go right through the floor's ceiling. The last two thugs he was facing tried to tackle him, but he just simply delivered a double clothesline, sending sprawling on the floor.

Three thugs attacked Strange, but he created a staff with his magic to block each of their strikes. He did a twirl, which caused his staff to hit each of them in the face. When one of them started to get back up, Strange changed his staff in a whip and lashed at him couple of times, hitting him in the face, before wrapping it around his ankle and tripping him up. The other two got back up, but Strange delivered a couple of blows with magic enhanced punches, knocking them out.

Garrus was tackled into the wall by another thug, but he slammed his fists in his back then kicked him off. Another one tried to punch him, but Garrus flipped him over his shoulder and sent him crashing into the other guy. A third thug tried to grapple him, but Garrus kneed him in the stomach before delivering a right hook, knocking him out.

With the majority of the thugs taken out, each of the Avengers went to check on the hostages. Each one of them looked stunned by what transpired before them. They were starting to lose hope, yet these people, who were human, came bursting in and saved them. What surprised them more were their abilities and feats of strength, the kind they have never seen before.

"Are you okay?" Spider-Man asked a Turian hostage.

"I...I think so..." The hostage said , still feeling stunned by this outcome.

"Don't move!"

The three Avengers looked up to see the leader, Maddicks, holding an Asari close while brandishing a knife right to her neck. He was seething with anger as how everything went wrong.

"Any of you come closer, and I slit her throat!" Maddicks exclaimed while keeping his knife close to the Asari's neck, which caused her eyes to tear up in fear.

The Avengers glared at him, but knew that they couldn't do anything at the moment. So, with reluctance, they each took a step back and raised their hands.

Seeing their surrender, Maddicks activated his comms. "Tarble, Rojas, get up here I need some back up." He received nothing, except static, so he tried again. "Can anyone copy?"

"Sorry, but don't expect any help from your friends." Spider-Man said with a smirk under his mask.

"Their a little preoccupied at the moment." Strange said with a smirk of his own.

Maddicks growled on anger at this. How could they have taken his men put without him even noticing? It just doesn't make any sense!

"Why are you doing this?! Your human also, so why are you helping these freaks?!" Maddicks exclaimed.

"Doesn't matter if your human or not, what matters is protecting innocent people from guys like you." Spider-Man said.

"People? People?! These...these...things aren't people! They're aliens, monsters, freaks!" Maddicks exclaimed madly.

"Really? Cause the human who's ranting like a lunatic seems less human and more monster, to me." Erik said with a glare.

Maddicks was seething with anger and was about to say something, but then he felt something pressed against the back of his head.

"Don't move." Maddicks looked behind him to see Garrus holding his sniper rifle right to the back of his head. "I'm only going to say this once, let her go, or there's going to be a new stain on the floor."

Maddicks growled in anger, as every part of his plan came crashing down on him. He glared at each of them, before sighing in resignation and dropped the knife. Strange followed it up by conjuring up red chains around Maddick's wrists, restraining him.

Sighing in relief, Spider-Man and the other Avengers went to unrestrained each of the hostages. "It's alright everyone, you're all safe now."

Back outside the building, an even larger crowd gathered by the barricade as more C-Sec officers arrived. It wasn't long until another C-Sec skycar came by and dropped off Executor Palin.

"What's the status?" Palin asked one of his Turian officers.

"Unclear, sir. We tried to established communications again, but now we've been met with radio silence." The officer stated as he typed away on his Omni-tool.

"I don't like this." Palin grumbled in concern.

"Did the Council get in touch with you?" The officer asked.

"They did, and they said that they have confidence we can handle this." Palin grumbled. "They said they don't negotiate with terrorists."

"That doesn't really bode well for the hostages." The officer said.

"Sir, someone's coming out." Another officer declared while eyeing the entrance. Soon enough, all of the hostages came rushing out. "It's the hostages! The hostages are coming out!"

"What?" Palin said in shock.

Sure enough, all of the hostages came rushing out of the building. C-Sec officers came forward and checked each of them for injuries. Besides being a little shaken up, each of them seemed okay.

One Asari child ran past the barricade and ran up to the same Asari woman who begged for her life inside. "Mommy!"

The Asari woman cried tears of joy as she knelt down and hugged her daughter closely. "Oh, my little blue star!"

"Is this all of them?" Palin asked.

"Yes sir, all hostages present and accounted for." One of the C- Sec officers said.

"What happened in there?" Palin asked.

"I think...they happened, sir." The C-Sec officer said as he pointed at the front entrance.

Everyone, from C-Sec officers to civilians, stared at the entrance of the building as Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and Erik stepped out. They stopped as they stood in front of Executor Palin, who still stared in disbelief.

Emily Wong, who was standing at the side, turned to her camera drone. "Make sure you get everything."

"You...did this?" Palin said, after he tried to find the right words.

"Oh, and one last thing." Vince said as he waved his fingers in a circular motion. A portal opened up right by them, causing the thugs they fought to fall straight out and land roughly on the ground.

"There's also a few more all stringed up on the 37th floor back there." Spider-Man said.

Palin snapped out of his shock before staring hard at the three heroes. "Well, it doesn't matter. You people still operated out of Citadel law, so therefor I have to bring you in. Men!"

Under his order, the majority of C-Sec officers raised their weapons in case they wanted to start a fight, though some of them did it reluctantly. They didn't want to shoot them, they just wanted to detain them in case they resisted arrest. The Avengers got into ready positions, with Vince preparing to open a portal so they can make a quick escape.

"Wait!"

Everyone looked in the direction of where that yell came from and saw that same Asari, holding her daughter in her arms, stepping forward.

"Those three right there, they saved our lives!" The Asari called out.

"Yeah, they saved all our lives!" One of the Turian hostages called out.

The young Asari child climbed out of her mother's grasp and ran straight at Spider-Man, proceeding to give him a large hug, much to his surprise.

"Thank you." The Asari child said with happy tears in her eyes. She then gave the other two Avengers big hugs as well.

"Hey, it's what we do." Erik said as he pat her on the head.

As the Asari child ran back to her mother, every civilian bystander started to clap before it became a full blown applause, with even some giving a few congratulatory whistles. The C-Sec officers looked around in disbelief before they slowly lowered their weapons, with even some of them applauding as well.

"Look, Chief, we get that you're just trying to do your job." Spider-Man said as he removed his mask and talked directly at Executor Palin. "But you can rest assure, all we want to do is help, and we'll do it any way we can." They soon stepped forward and were about to take their leave, but stopped when a new voice called out.

"Wait!" The three heroes looked to see Emily Wong with her camera drone right by her side. "Who are you?"

Ben smiled before placing his mask back on. "We're the Avengers."

With that said, Spider-Man launched a webline and swung away, with Vince and Erik flying right behind him, much to the onlookers shock and surprise. This still did not deter them from continuing there applause.

As Palin watched them fly away, feeling just as shocked as everyone else, Garrus soon came in through the crowd and walked up to his boss.

"Executor Palin, sir." Garrus said.

"Garrus? What are you doing here." Palin asked.

"I heard the news, sir. I wanted to see if there was anything I could do to help." Garrus said, looking in the direction the Avengers raced off. "Looks like there was no need."

"Yes." Palin said before glancing a troubled look at Emily Wong as she walked off and started interviewing the hostages. "We can't hide this from the public now, Vakarian. The whole Citadel will here about this."

"Pardon me, sir, but is that really such a bad thing?" Garrus asked curiously.

"I don't know for certain, but all I can tell is that things will never be the same again." Palin said before walking off. Garrus watched him go before he discreetly took a sigh of relief.

It was a sneaky plan, but he needed to make sure he wouldn't get in hot water with his boss. So, as soon as all the hostages were clear, he had Vince open up aortas that would land him somewhere else so that way it would look like that he just arrived here.

'Well guys, if you didn't make a big impact before, you sure did now.' Garrus thought to himself.

"-he just came in and used this stuff like a web-"

"-I've never seen a human with such strength-"

"-guy's hands glowed gold, and it didn't look like Biotics-"

"-it was like he made weapons out of thin air-"

"-who uses a sword anymore?"

"I'm a veteran in the Turian military, and I've seen some crazy things while on duty, but I've never seen anything quite like them."

The large video monitor then changed to show the same Asari with her child in her arms. "I thought I was going to die, and all I could think about was how I would never see my daughter again. These heroes - these Avengers - made sure I would get to hold my daughter in my arms again. Wherever you are, if you're listening, I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you."

"Thank you, Avengers!" The Asari child exclaimed happily.

The screen then changed to show Emily Wong talking on camera. "These are just some of the things many people had to say au bout these strange individuals calling themselves the Avengers. A group of individuals who displayed abilities no one has ever seen before. Many of the hostages were baffled by their displays of strength, but despite that, they have shared their utmost gratitude for their aid in rescuing them. I have also received reports that they were the ones who aided C-Sec in a dangerous bank heist not that long ago. No one knows exactly who they are, or where they come from, but one thing's for sure, this may not be the last time we hear of them."

The video paused as the only audience watching them was a single Asari, Turian, and Salarian with focus intent. Each of them were wearing regal outfits, indicating that they were of very high standings. These were the individuals that make up the Citadel Council.

"Truly fascinating." The Salarian councilor, Valern, said with interest as he watched a video of them flying/swinging away. His scientific mind working into overdrive. "Such impressive abilities."

"I should have known you'd be interested in this, Valern." Sparatus, the Turian councilor, said. "However, I find this troubling."

"Why is that, Sparatus?" The Asari councilor, Tevos, asked.

"We have never seen humans display such power before." Sparatus pointed out with a slight edge in his voice. "Why were we never told about this? This could be a play to deceive us in order to try and gain our favor."

"By all witness accounts, it seems that there intentions were genuine in saving lives." Valern said.

"Yes, to save human lives, all for their benefits." Sparatus said stubbornly.

"On the contrary, I reviewed the report given to us by C-Sec over that hostage situation, and not a single human was among the hostages. If there goal was to only help humanity, then why would they fight their own kind?" Valern pointed out, which Sparatus couldn't find the answer to.

"If they're true goal was to save lives, than I believe they're doing a marvelous job of doing it." Tevos said calmly. "However, it is strange that would appear out of nowhere. I believe that we should contact Udina, and see if he has any information on these Avengers."

"And if these Avengers' intentions are truly unjust, then we will do whatever we can within out power to bring them in." Valern said. "Does that work for you, Sparatus.

Sparatus sighed, unable to find any flaws in the logic of his fellow councilors. "Very well."

AN: Hey everybody, I've got a new chapter for you!

I'll be honest with you guys, I didn't expect this chapter to be this long, but I just couldn't stop writing. I'm giving you all a heads up, but these chapters won't be published as quickly as what it is right now, I just have the first six saved on my files, and the rest I'll work on when I have time.

So now all of the Citadel knows about the Avengers, and they are now in the radar of the Council, which I think is pretty cool. With humans still considered new in this alien society, it's going to be pretty surprising to them witnessing humans possessing powers beyond their comprehension.

Now, before you be all "why is Spider-Man revealing his identity," just keep in mind that this story of my MCU timeline takes place thirty years after Far From Home, and if you remember the ending scene, everybody now knows Peter's identity, so Ben isn't that concerned about his identity.

That's all I have to say for now, but if you have any questions, please let me know.

Stay safe, stay healthy!
