Chapter 10: The Autobots reunite. (mostly)

In the forest, Optimus Prime was still pulling away the chains he had been in when he was in that storage closet. Now that he was free, he was trying to find the other autobots.

Suddenly, he caught sight of Drift and Hound coming the other way.

Optimus Prime: "Autobots, thank Primus I found you."

Hound: "You're telling me."

Drift: "Sensei, what happened to you!?"

As Optimus looked down at himself, he could tell that Drift was referring to the remaining chains that were still stuck on him. So as he started explaining, Crosshairs started showing up from amongst the trees while holding the smaller version of the Allspark.

Optimus Prime: "As unamusing as it sounds, when I regained consciousness I found myself chained to the wall of a janitor's closet.

Crosshairs: "Oh my gosh guys, you're all alive!"

Hound: "Crosshairs, would you mind explaining what the scrap is going on!?"

Crosshairs: "Well, I came across this underground tomb that had a pot full of your protoplasmic heads. While I was there, I stole this."

With that, Crosshairs revealed the mini version of the allspark.

Drift: "By the Allspark (no pun intended), nice save Crosshairs."

Crosshairs: "Yeah, I'm just that good. Anyways, I see those protoplasmic heads got safely back to your bulky bodies."

Hound: "Yeah, I found myself tied to the side of a large stinking tree."

Drift: "Then he found me chained to the wall."

Optimus Prime: "And I was tied up against the wall of a janitor's closet."

Hound: "Well that certainly cleaned up your day."

Before anyone could object Hound for his bad pun, they suddenly saw a fiery explosion go off beyond the trees.

Crosshairs: "What was that!?"

Drift: "Let's go check it out."

With that, the 4 autobots set off to find out what caused that explosion.

Meanwhile at the beach, Swindle was laying outside his hut next to a bonfire spot. The explosion had come from his fire, and Swindle had been blown back from the impact. Once Swindle sat up, he shook off the dizziness.

Swindle: "Something tells me that those were the wrong ingredients."

While Swindle went back to work, Optimus Prime, Crosshairs, Drift, and Hound emerged from the forest. When they saw Swindle, Drift suddenly grew a smirk.

Drift: "Stay low, I know how to handle this guy."

With that, Drift started walking ahead towards Swindle.

Drift: "Hey you, what are you up to now?"

Hound: "Yes, that is masterful."

Swindle: "I'm trying to do a voodoo ritual if you don't mind, thank you! It's important that you get the right ingredients, the only way I can protect myself is by blessing this dead scraplet."

Swindle held up the metal corpse of a dead scraplet, it even made Drift shudder it disgust.

Swindle: "I'll tell you something, I have a feeling they're about to perform their evil darcapolypse ritual."

Hound: "Darcapolypse ritual?"

Swindle: "That's right."

Suddenly, Hound carefully snatched the mini Allspark from Crosshairs.

Hound: "That's what the ancient markings on this cube mean."

When Hound opened the cube, Swindle started becoming rather paranoid.

Swindle: "Hey woah, don't open that!"

Hound: "They turn us into protoplasmic heads so that we don't try to foil their plan, and the main deception behind this has to absorb a non-voiced autobot to complete the ritual."

Swindle: "And legend has it that once the darcapolyse is performed, the decepticons will become the rulers of earth by 10,000 years. So that's why I'm taking this dead scraplet up to my hut to protect myself."

Crosshairs: "You wouldn't happen to have another one of those?"

Swindle just rolled his eyes, then he just went over to hang up his scraplet corpse.

Drift: "Those decepticons are trying to take over Earth, very cruel."

Crosshairs: "Oh yeah, like we don't know that already."

Optimus Prime: "But they can't do the ritual without a non-talking autobot, where are they gonna get someone like that?"

Hound: "I think the answer is already up in our faces."

Suddenly, Crosshairs started to get a pretty good idea on who they were talking about.

Crosshairs: "Oh scrap."

(Meanwhile)

Meanwhile, Bumblebee was sadly waiting inside the same pyramid-shaped cage that Drift had nearly got trapped in. Suddenly, the walls of the cage started opening up. 2 decepticon soldiers were seen stepping in front of the back door of the room, and Lockdown stepped in through the room's main doors.

Lockdown: "Hello bug."

(Back at the beach)

Hound: "So if the person one this needs Bee…..

Drift: "Then that guy could be the one who brought us here in the first place."

(Meanwhile again)

In a slightly dark computer room, a tall Cybertronian was looking out a large window at the rest of the island. This cybertronian was mostly silver, but he had a big glowing yellow hole with grinders inside of it at the front of his torso. He had sharp blades on the back of his arms, and a pair of horns going back and up along the sides of his head. This cybertronian was named Galvatron, but there was something really familiar about this character. A

After peering out through the window a little longer, he heard the front doors of his office open. As Galvatron turned towards the door, in came Bumblebee with Lockdown right behind him.

Galvatron: "Ah, the autobot scout. How are you today, please have a seat."

Bumblebee:(through radio) "Oh, alright."

After Bumblebee took a seat at a nearby chair, Galvatron came up holding a tray of energon shakes.

Galvatron: "Energon shake?"

Bumblebee:(through radio) "Thanks partner."

Bumblebee took 1 of the energon shakes, then he poured it onto the back of his neck and let it ooze down his body. After a few seconds of that, the energon got absorbed into each part of his body. Galvatron and Lockdown each stared at him with a raised eyebrow (cybertronian eyebrow), then Galvatron just shook off the uncomfortable feeling and continued playing his role.

Galvatron: "Well we'll keep getting those prepared,won't we."

Then as Bumblebee looked over on the desk beside him, he saw a small picture frame of himself on it. As he looked closer, it looked like him when it was sometime during the battle of Chicago.

Bumblebee:(through radio) "Hey, that looks like me."

Galvatron: "It certainly is, why?...We love you Bumblebee."

Over by the door, Lockdown shuddered from nearing the word "Love."

Galvatron: "Unlike that ledged partner of yours, Crosshairs."

Once he heard Crosshairs's name, Bumblebee started feeling sadly concerned.

Galvatron: "He wouldn't believe you about that titan you saw in the jungle, since he's now with that other autobot Dino."

Bumblebee:(through radio) "No siree."

Galvatron: "But I believe you my friend, and that's why I've got a very important job for you."

Suddenly, Bumblebee found a bobblehead of Ironhide on the desk and bopped it's head making it wobble.

Bumblebee:(through radio) "Nice bobble head man."

Galvatron: "Thanks, (swats his hand) don't touch it. Bumblebee, I would like you to be…. a sacrifice."

Bumblebee:(through radio) "A sacrifice?"

Galvatron softly nodded his head in agreement, and Lockdown gave an evil grin in a way Bumblebee couldn't see it.

(Back at the beach)

Optimus Prime: "If the deceptions wanted Bumblebee, why would they invite the rest of us?"

Drift: "Maybe they were trying to lure us into their trap without us realizing it."

Crosshairs: "Whatever guys, we gotta go and save Bumblebee."

Before Crosshairs could wander off, Optimus Prime stopped him.

Optimus Prime: "Crosshairs, we cannot rush into a kind of mission we've never handled before. Besides, this could be our biggest challenge yet."

Crosshairs: "Prime, we're supposed to be heroes."

Suddenly, Crosshairs came over and dug through 1 of Hound's bags and pulled out an energon goodie.

Crosshairs: "So for now, I'm gonna do what I always do. I'm gonna feed myself an energon goodie, and I'm gonna save my partner."

While Optimus Prime, Drift, and Hound gave each other looks, they thought this through a little bit.

Optimus Prime: "Hound, you're wanting to do this?"

Hound: "Oh, you really think I'm gonna fall for that? If I'm really part of this team…..we could make a plan."

Drift: "What about me, I've been kinda slipping the moves I've made ever since before we split up 2 years ago."

Swindle: "Just a heads up, I was supposed to go there and use this scraplet corpse to attend the ritual without getting my spark absorbed-

Crosshairs: "Oh shut up!"

With that said, Crosshairs pulled out 1 of his pistols. He took 1 shot at Swindle's head causing it to explode, and the rest of Swindle's body crumbled up into pieces. After the moment died down, the autobots got back to the matter at hand.

Optimus Prime: "You've still got highly ranked skills Drift, you can still keep going with that. If that's not a true Autobot, I'm not certain what is. So to this day, we must save Earth from the deceptions once again. Until the day, till all are one."

With that speech made, Crosshairs put his hand out in the middle. Optimus Prime put in his next, then Drift, and finally Hound. As they all held their hands in, they each grew determined enough to save Earth once again.

Hound: "Well then, let us light our darkest hour!"

With that said, they all shot their arms up and went off to start their mission.
