Chapter 11: The final showdown Part 1:

So it was settled, the autobots were now starting to put their big plan into action. Optimus Prime and Crosshairs were back at the outdoor bar, and they were bringing down the disco ball in the shape of the autobot symbol.

Drift and Hound were over at a rock-climbing course, and they took down some of the ropes and climbing equipment. Once they had everything they needed, they all met back at the tomb where the voodoo was supposed to take place.

Crosshairs and Hound were then raising the disco ball over the tomb and then into a smaller cave opening to keep it hidden while Optimus and Drift secured it under a large round air vent in the tomb ceiling, then Crosshairs zipped down to the tomb floor.

Optimus Prime zipped over by Hound, then he started discussing the next stage of their plan.

Optimus Prime: "Okay, so we use the pulleys to tip over the cauldron."

Hound: "Then Drift will open that there vent from the outside and release the old disco ball."

Optimus Prime: "We altered the disco ball to shoot lasers once it gets hit by sunshine."

Crosshairs: "The decepticons will explode, I'll find bee, and we'll save the world."

Suddenly, they all heard distant drumming.

Optimus Prime: "The ritual is beginning."

Hound: "Quick Crosshairs, attach us to the cauldron."

With that Hound tossed a rope down by Crosshairs, then he went over to the cauldron with the rope.

Crosshairs: "Shh, we're here to save you."

Hound: "Cross, faster!"

Crosshairs: "Quit pushing me!"

After a few more moments, he was finished with the tying.

Crosshairs: "All systems go."

Suddenly, the rope snagged and got caught on the edge of his cape. When Crosshairs noticed this, he tried to warn Optimus and Hound.

Crosshairs: "Wait! No!"

Hound: "The autobots ride again."

Before Crosshairs knew it, Optimus and Hound zipped down to the ground. The rope got unhooked from the cauldron, and it suddenly hoisted Crosshairs up towards the ceiling. Crosshairs smashed right into the ceiling which caused the rock holding up Drift's rope to chip off, and then Drift swung up against the left wall while Crosshairs swung the other way.

Meanwhile, some random deception soldier was in 1 of the tunnels getting ready for the ritual. Suddenly, it spotted Crosshairs swinging right towards him. Crosshairs roughly collided with the decepticon, then they both tumbled up against the nearest tunnel wall leaving the decepticon soldier slightly dazed.

At that moment, a bunch of decepticon soldiers started appearing from the other tunnels. From 1 tunnel, some cuffed autobot soldiers (including Brains) were being guided alongside some decepticon soldiers with spears.

Hound: "Quick, hide the cube."

While Optimus and Hound hid the cube within their spare supplies, Drift watched as the decepticons marched back and forth into position.

Meanwhile, Crosshairs regained himself and found the decepticon he knocked out. Once he got up, he looked around until he spotted…

Bumblebee!

Bumblebee was sitting on a throne with 4 decepticon soldiers fanning him. Another soldier even offered him an energon shake.

Decepticon #1: "Energon shake sier?"

Bumblebee:(through radio) "You betcha."

As Bumblebee was given his energon shake, Crosshairs had never felt so happy to see his old comrade again.

Crosshairs: "Bumblebee."

At that moment, Crosshairs started coming up with a plan.

Meanwhile, the decepticons all spread out around the cauldron while keeping the autobots secured. They deactivated their cuffs, but then they had them held down by an electronic cable securing each hand. Then, they started marching in place while pumping their fists in the air to the beat of the drums. Optimus Prime and Hound tried blending in by doing what the decepticons were doing.

Just then, Galvatron and Lockdown started driving in their vehicle modes out into the tomb with 4 decepticon titans following them. Galvatron was a gray high-tech freightliner argosy with silver stripes on the side. Once they were ahead of the crowd of decepticons, they transformed into their robot forms and started walking up to the big platform behind the cauldron.

While Optimus and Hound kept blending in, they signaled to Drift for him to head outside and open the ceiling vent. Drift nodded nervously, climbed down into a cavern opening that was right next to him, changed into his car form, and carefully drove down the tunnel.

Meanwhile, Crosshairs had dismantled some of the body armor from the decepticon soldier he knocked out and put it onto his own. But as he was putting on the soldiers mask, he saw another group of decepticon soldiers parading down the tunnel towards him. Thinking quickly, he started frantically marching in place—but still to the rhythm of the drums.

As he kept marching, the decepticon he knocked out was starting to regain consciousness. He then started to come up behind and strangle him, but Crosshairs suddenly jabbed his elbow into his face while still stand-dancing, then a kick in the crotch, and then 4 more elbow jabs in the face. After all that, he fell unconscious once more.

Crosshairs looked at his work with satisfaction, then he went to go find Bumblebee.

Optimus and Hound kept blending in, but Hound was starting to feel a little uncomfortable.

Hound: "Ugh, this is so embarrassing."

But then, 1 of the pistols being kept on his left leg fell. Once it hit the ground, it made a big blast towards the ceiling. The bang echoed throughout the entire tomb, it even caught the attention of every decepticon present.

At that moment, everyone was now looking towards Optimus Prime and Hound.

Hound: "Scrap."

Suddenly, the 2 decepticon titans came up and took hold of the 2 autobots. Next, they escorted them closer to the platform where Galvatron was.

Galvatron: "Greetings Optimus, welcome to my…..end-of-the-world party."

At that moment, Optimus Prime was taking a closer look towards Galvatron. As he did, he was finally sensing who this decepticon actually was.

Optimus Prime:(to himself) "Megatron."

While Galvatron continued talking, 1 of the titans suddenly found the cube amongst their spare supplies.

Galvatron: "Thank you for returning the ultimate party favor."

Then the titans brought the cube closer to Galvatron, Optimus and Hound felt slumped.

Galvatron: "And now, behold…..the sacrifice!"

At that moment, a few more decepticon soldiers emerged carrying Bumblebee on the throne as he was waving hello. Unknown to them, Crosshairs was 1 of the ones carrying the throne.

Bumblebee:(through radio) "Thank you, Thank you very much!"

Crosshairs: "Psst."

Bumblebee:(through radio) "Crosshairs?"

With that, Crosshairs raised his mask a little bit revealing it to be him.

Crosshairs: "Bee let's run for it, we gotta get outta here."

Bumblebee:(through radio) "No can do partner, I'm a sacrifice."

Crosshairs: "A sacrifice? Dude, that's not a good thing Bee!"

Optimus Prime and Hound saw Bumblebee getting carried out into the tomb, and they just couldn't believe what they were seeing.

Crosshairs: "Look, I'm sorry I yelled at you. I'm sorry I haven't been a very good friend since we came to this island, but you have to trust me now."

Bumblebee:(through radio) "But you haven't been trusting me."

Crosshairs: "I do trust you Bee, now who's your partner in crime?"

Bumblebee:(through radio) "...you?"

Crosshairs: "That's right, and who's my closest friend in the whole wide world?"

Bumblebee:(through radio) "Me?"

Crosshairs: "That's right Bee, you are. We're like 2 trippy peas in a far-out pod."

Bumblebee softly nodded in agreement, and Optimus and Hound kept watching the decepticons approaching with Bumblebee.

Crosshairs: "Best buds trust each other, so let's do what we do best. Let's run out of here screaming and blasting like a couple of lunatics, okay?"

Bumblebee:(through radio) "Count me in."

Crosshairs: "Okay, on the count of…...let's make it 5. 1…"

Bumblebee:(through radio) "1….."

Crosshairs: "2…."

Bumblebee:(through radio) "2….."

Suddenly, the bronze grabber jabbed itself into Bumblebee's chest trying to suck something out of it.

Crosshairs: "Bumblebee!"

The grabber was being controlled by Lockdown, and he grinned amusingly at his work. The grabber's work was actually tickling him at first, but then he passed out once the grabber pulled out a protoplasmic head of his Bumblebee.

Bumblebee:(through radio?) "Look at me, I'm flying!"

During this, Galvatron raised the cube in front of the big hole in his chest. 4 tiny clamps emerged from each corner of the hole, and they all connected themselves to the cube, and Galvatron could already feel its energy flowing into his systems.

As Bumblebee's protoplasmic head was being lifted up higher by the grabber, Bumblebee was now starting to grow a little frightened.

Bumblebee:(through radio) "Help me out dudes!"

As he was shouting for help, all the other protoplasmic heads from the cauldron started emerging in the form of a thick whirlwind. And as Galvatron started speaking, 1 of the decepticon soldiers took hold of Crosshairs.

Crosshairs: "Hey, get your hands off me!"

Galvatron: "The moment is at hand. Through the cube, I shall absorb the energy source."

The cube opened up on Galvatron's chest, and then all the protoplasmic heads started getting sucked into the cube. The stream of protoplasmic heads flowed fast into Galvatron's chest as he grew stronger within each second, Optimus Prime and Hound watched in horror as this was happening.

Galvatron: "And now to complete the energy surge, I shall absorb the pure one!"

Crosshairs: "Bee."

The protoplasmic head of Bumblebee looked towards Crosshairs in fear as he was pulled closer and closer to Galvatron.

Galvatron: "Ultimate power shall be mine!"

Suddenly, Crosshairs grew a highly determined look.

Crosshairs: "Nobody absorbs my pal."

Crosshairs then threw the decepticon soldier away from him, then he jumped towards the grabber and grabbed hold of it. They started swinging towards Galvatron, and Galvatron got knocked off the platform and onto the surface beside it falling unconscious.

Meanwhile, Drift was still driving through the tunnel towards the outside.

Drift: "Sensei and the others better know what they're doing."

Back in the tomb, Crosshairs kept swinging around on the grabber. Suddenly, Bumblebee's protoplasmic head broke free from the grabber's grasp.

Lockdown: "Get that autobot head!"

With that, all the decepticons started getting their weapons ready. But before they could try and stop Bumblebee's protoplasmic head, they all heard a strange noise coming from a couple of the tunnels. And it sounded like rumbling.

Before they knew it, Dino and a mob of autobot soldiers quickly came running out of the tunnels all geared up and ready to fight.

Dino: "You mess with some of us, you mess with all of us!"

The autobot soldiers cheered in agreement.

Optimus Prime: "Excellent move Dino!"

Next, Dino shot his sniper at the control panel on the platform. The blast hit a small button, and it made all the electric cables the other autobot soldiers deactivate.

Autobot soldier #1: "Oh yeah, you guys are in trouble now."

In the next second, the whole tomb was filled with autobot and decepticon soldiers blasting and bashing each other back and forth. Bumblebee's protoplasmic head zigzagged all over the place, even past Lockdown who ducked just in time. A couple decepticon titans started chasing after him, and Bumblebee became frightened again. A few autobot soldiers tried blasting at the titans, but the titans just shoved them out of the way as they kept chasing Bumblebee.

While this was happening, Optimus Prime and Hound remembered that Galvatron still had the cube.

Hound: "Come on, we gotta get that cube!"

Meanwhile, Crosshairs was still swinging from the grabber.

Lockdown: "Get off my grabber!"

Finally, Crosshairs couldn't hold onto the grabber any longer. He fell off, and he tumbled over to the edge of a foggy pit. The 2 decepticon titans almost had Bumblebee cornered, but he flew away straight back into his body. Bumblebee tumbled off the throne, then he frantically pulled himself onto his feet.

Bumblebee:(through radio) "Cowabunga!"

Meanwhile, Optimus Prime and Hound came over to where Galvatron still lay unconscious. Hound tried to grab the cube which was closed (and now glowing), but he felt his hand get burned when touching it.

Optimus Prime: "Looks like the cube has been called into his systems."

Suddenly, Galvatron's eyes shot open and an energy wave was sent from the cube across the entire tomb. This made everyone stop what they were doing for a moment and stare wide-eyed at what was happening to Galvatron, even Lockdown looked shocked at the scene. Suddenly, the cube started melting into Galvatron's chest before it disappeared. Now, the cube's energy was fully absorbed into Galvatron's systems. Next, Galvatron got back to his feet while chuckling evilly.

Galvatron: "Well Prime, my you are a persistent one. But unfortunately, it'll take more than that to take me down."

It was official, Optimus Prime definitely knew who Galvatron actually was.

Optimus Prime: "Megatron."

After hearing this Hound looked towards Optimus with a look mixed with shock and confusion.

Hound: "Say what now!?"

Galvatron: "You're correct, you definitely thought you'd seen the last of me after the battle of Chicago. But you were wrong!"

(Flashback)

The remains of Megatron's body were still lying on the bridge in Chicago, nobody had bothered to deal with any of it. Suddenly, a group of decepticon soldiers beamed down beside the remains.

Galvatron: "My body was left on that bridge in Chicago, but some of my decepticons eventually found me."

1 of the soldiers picked up Megatron's head, then it used its eyes to do a scan over it. The other soldiers salvaged the rest of his body, then they beamed away without a trace.

Then, some decepticons were handling the remains in a lab and were putting together a new body for Megatron.

Galvatron: "They took me to a laboratory, and I was restored into a stronger and more advanced being."

Soon Galvatron was brought to life, then he emerged from his containment spot before the decepticons that saved him.

Galvatron: "At that moment, I was finally put back in charge with my new name: Galvatron!"

The decepticons kneeled before Galvatron in respect of their revived leader.

Decepticons: "All hail Galvatron."

(End of flashback)

Optimus Prime and Hound stood before Galvatron listening to his little story, and they were rather surprised.

Hound: "Holy cow, you just never know when to quit."

Galvatron: "Indeed, and now look how close I am at becoming the most powerful being in the universe."

With that, he revealed the pulsing cube still attached to his chest.

Galvatron: "I'm about to revolutionize the survival of our race, all I need to complete my power absorbance is the autobot know as Bumblebee!"

Bumblebee jumped at this while standing alongside Crosshairs who starred shockingly at Galvatron.

Bumblebee: "Me, don't you mean Fragid bee?"

With that, he pointed at the autobot with the wasp tattoo from the outdoor bar that just so happened to be secured beside him.

Galvatron: "Decepticons attack!"

With that, the battle was back on. A few decepticons started coming up and shooting at Bumblebee and Crosshairs, but Crosshairs quickly took out his pistols and knocked them down. Another decepticon soldier came charging at Bumblebee, but thinking fast he tossed the soldier over his shoulder and into another soldier.

Hound: "That's it, you're so gonna get it!"

Optimus Prime and Hound started charging at Galvatron, but unfortunately Galvatron had a trick up his "sleeve." His right hand shifted into a large bazooka, and it shot 5 missiles at the spot in front of Optimus and Hound.

(5 missiles from around the edges, and 1 big missile from the middle.)

Optimus Prime and Hound were sent flying back, smashing into the tomb wall and falling to the ground. With that taken care of, Galvatron started making his way towards Bumblebee and Crosshairs.

Crosshairs: "Oh scrud, we're in trouble now."
