YOSH! This is Squalo King with a new chapter of Demon of Pandora.

Disclaimer: I don't own Borderlands 1,2 or TPS.

It's a Deathtrap!

*Engine Sputter* *Engine Sputter* *Engine Sputter*

Out in the wastelands of sand, bandits, heat, and stactus plants. Though Lee and Salvador were not being attacked by bandits, or any dangerous creature of Pandora(strange, I know). They were out in the open, their Technical stopped in its tracks, a trail of smoke from the engine, with the wind kicking up more dust into the air. Nothing was happening at the moment; which was either a stroke of luck or an ultimate insult because with no bandits, or animals to fight they were safe at the moment. However, this also meant that the dominant sound being made at the moment was,

*Engine Sputter* *Engine Sputter* *Engine Sputter*

Salvador kept turning the key in the ignition while hitting the steering wheel angrily while cursing at it.

"Stupid, shitting, Puta, Hot Piece of JUNK!" he yelled.

He got out of the Technical and opened up the hood causing a cloud of smoke to hit his face. He then proceeds to beat the front of the car with his bare fists. Lee was sitting down in the trunk bed keeping looking out, so they didn't get caught by surprise. Although he was more depressed than diligent due to the fact their only mode of transportation was now shut down.

"Any luck yet?" asked Lee aloud.

Salvador tries to waive the smoke away as he coughs.

"*Cough* Does it sound *Cough* like I g- *Cough* got it working Niño?" asked Salvador angrily. Lee lowered his head a bit embarrassed and answered.

"No, in fact, it sounds like we're stuck here," said Lee.

*Pop* *Bam*

The engine popped. It began to exhume more smoke. The sound made Lee jump a little, only for him to get frustrated.

"Music to a dead man's ears." he thought

"No bandits yet by the way, though if they show up it's not like we can run." said Lee. Salvador grins.

"Don't be lazy, we'll fight our way out!" he yelled with glee.

Lee grumbled to himself and scratched the top of his head at Salvador's warmonger attitude. He looks up at the sun and sees that it was lowering, it was past noon and all that could translate to was.

"Time's getting wasted," he said.

He didn't know how well things were going to go, all he could think was that he wasn't going to make it the train or find the Vault and even die on this planet. Lee then pulls out his deck of cards, he took off the band that held them together and shuffled it quickly and puts his fingers to the top card to pull out.

"Okay, how about an Ace?" he asked himself. He then pulls it out and saw that it wasn't an Ace of any kind.

"Queen of Hearts," he uttered.

"Huh, you say something?" asked Salvador appearing next to Lee jump and fall out of the trunk bed and onto the ground. He nearly drops his cards and quickly puts them away.

"Don't scare me like that, I thought you were fixing the engine!" yelled Lee looking up at Salvador. The stubby man then jumps to the ground.

"Couldn't do it. And I tried everything but a couple of shots with either Tequila or from an SMG." said Salvador. He then looked back at the engine and was about to pull out a gun when Lee stops him.

"DO NOT DO THAT, SAVE YOUR AMMO!" he yelled. Salvador then puts his gun back.

"So we walk, huh, but how long will it take now?" asked Lee.

"Well now if we walk, it'll take about a day and a half," said Salvador pointing west. Lee then began to stretch his legs

"I say we run for it, I need to get on that train," said Lee desperately.

"What about if we run into any bandits?" asked Salvador as he checked his ammo and guns.

"We cut through them!" said Lee, acting like he didn't give a damn.

"I like that plan!" said Salvador.

Salvador then smacks Lee's back, Lee tries hard not to wince in pain. The two then prepared to make a long and arduous run for the train.

"GO!" yelled Salvador. As the two began to run, then something crossed Lee's mind, and he stops in his tracks and grabs Salvador by his shirt making him stop and fall on his back.

"OW, what happened to running?" asked Salvador as he got up. Lee pointed at the trunk bed of the Technical.

"Let's check for some water in the back before we leave, so we don't die of thirst," said Lee in a wary tone. Salvador shook his head.

"Don't worry," he says as he pulls out a bottle of Tequila.

"I've got two bottles so we can share unless I decide to get drunk," said Salvador. Lee winces, looking at the alcohol.

"No thanks, I like water better," said Lee as he runs over to the trunk bed and finds three metal containers, he shakes them, one was empty while two were full of what was assumed to be water.

"Hey, you found some, any booze inside?" asked Salvador. Lee shakes his head and opens one of them and drinks some. His tongue is hit with a disgusting taste that causes him to spit it back out and drop the container.

"UGH Disgusting!" he yelled. Salvador laughs at Lee and goes over to the dropped container, he picks up it and has a taste for himself.

"Gasoline, not bad!" he said. Salvador then grabs the top and puts it back on to keep more from spilling out. Lee tries to spit, more and more of the gasoline out of his mouth. He then goes over to the other container and opens it and decides to smell the inside first and there was no smell. He drinks a little, and to his luck, it was water.

"Thank god!" said Lee happily. He then puts the top back on. He and Salvador then get back to preparing to run.

"Okay, let's try this again!" said Lee. Salvador nods.

"CHAAAARGE!" yelled Salvador. The two then began running through the wastes with as much vigor as they could summon.

2 hours later

They were now walking, at a steady pace. Their bodies were covered in bloodstains and some guts that Lee tried wiping off himself while his other hand-carried the water. Salvador was smiling like a clown, giddy and satisfied with a rifle in each hand though. To no one's surprise, they had run into bandits and fought them to the death. They sustained little injuries, however, there were multiple encounters with Scags that tried to eat them, Raks that swooped down to kill them and not to mention that they also didn't have any food to eat, so hunger was creeping upon them. 2 hours of walking and fighting with no sight of the Hyperion train.

Marcus and Orphan

"Wait, you're not going to talk about the bandit fights?" asked the orphan

"No, do you want pointless filler?" asked Marcus.

"No, but it would make them seem like a team." suggested the Orphan.

"No, that's way too corny, besides there's time for that later," said Marcus.

"How much later?" asked the Orphan.

"No spoilers, now back to the story!" he said annoyed

Pandora Wasteland (story)

"Good warm-ups," said Salvador. Lee shook his head as he got the last pieces of person off of his body.

"You are really enjoying this," said Lee.

"And you don't? Its the best part about being a Vault Hunter," said Salvador. Lee shrugs at Salvador's comment.

"I don't really like to think about that," he pulls out his pistol," the loot is cool, but we found nothing else about the Vault though." said Lee as he wiped the remaining guts off his body.

"Relax, like I said, those cabróns wouldn't know anything," said Salvador.

"Oh, and sorry I shot that guy plastering his guts all over you, but it helps give off a strong manly smell," said Salvador.

"Well, at least all I have to do to sleep at night is just to take a big whiff," said Lee trying to joke while getting the last of human parts off his body.

"Smells like a man!" said Salvador, he then raised his arm and sniff his own armpit. He puts his guns away and takes out the bottle of Tequila and begins drinking from it. Lee just sighed, he looks down at his hands and saw that they were shaking. He ignores it and looks at the sun and sees that it was nearly setting. To calm his nerves his drinks some of his water.

"How much further till the train, I haven't even seen any tracks yet?" asked Lee.

"We'll get there, the trains cycle around Pandora, where we are headed is just one of the stops," said Salvador.

Lee looks at the sun as it lowers, worried about how much time is left until night overtook them. As the two walked on, they soon reached what looked like a number of rock spires, and rocks big and small. They continued through said rock formations, surrounded by stone. All the while looking a bit spooky with night coming.

Salvador made sure to be aware of their surroundings, Lee however had a face of wonder in this new territory he was like a little kid looking at the rock formations. Salvador took note of this and grunted.

"Your a foreigner, aren't you?" asked Salvador.

"Huh?" uttered Lee looking down at Salvador.

"You've got scars like a fighter, but you're not from here. Most people who live on Pandora know their way around, which Bandits to avoid, and most people on this planet can use a gun," said Salvador. Lee grits his teeth, feeling insulted despite the true statement.

"I can use a gun!" complained Lee. Salvador then takes Lee's Jacob's revolver from his pocket.

*BAM* *BAM**BAM**BAM* *BAM* *BAM*

Salvador shoots it several times into the distance and puts it back into Lee's pocket. Lee felt an awkward feeling in his stomach.

"I-I thought it was empty," said Lee as he pointed in the distance Salvador fired.

"You pull back the hammer on a Jacobs pistol, Niño," said Salvador as he took another drink. Lee pulled out his pistol and imitated what Salvador did. Nothing fired because pistol was empty,

"And learn to reload or your dead out here," said Salvador

Lee grunts to himself. He reloads his gun and puts its his pocket. He then admits to Salvador's statements.

"Y-Yeah, I'm from off-world, I've only been on Pandora for 4 days," said Lee. Salvador then wore a face of shock, with a hint of admiration.

"4 days, you can barely shoot, and you're still alive? My Abuela would call you a Bendito Niño!" said Salvador.

"Abuela?" asked Lee.

"She raised me good on this rock," said Salvador. He almost looked as if he wanted to cry.

"Wait, Salvador, were you born on Pandora?" asked Lee. Salvador nods. Lee then smiles from ear to ear.

"Course I am, I'm no greenhorn who can't tell the difference between Scag shit and Varkid spit!" said Salvador. He then pats Lee's back.

"No offense," he said in a friendly tone.

"None taken, but it's still insulting," said Lee. He then took a leap of faith.

"Salvador, Pandora is known for the legends of the Vaults and you were born on this planet. Have you heard any stories?" asked Lee. Salvador nodded as the two made their way through the rocks and across the sand.

"Yeah, some old man used to live in my village and would go on and on about the Vaults: the treasure that they hid, ancient alien technology and power beyond the comprehension of man. Not to mention my Abuela's stories," said Salvador. Lee could barely contain his excitement, something Salvador noticed.

"Great, so what do you know about them?" asked Lee. Salvador merely shrugged..

"Nothing," he answered. Lee widened his eyes. The feeling of soul-crushing sadness, slashed expectations, and disappointment fills his soul the moment he hears Salvador's answer.

"What, after everything tha- *Sigh*," Lee silently facepalmed himself, unable to finish. He stops in his tracks and Salvador does the same.

"Salvador are being serious?" asked Lee in frustration.

"I can't remember those stories from so long ago, plus all those drugs and alcohol must be bad for brain or something," said Salvador. He then takes a swig of his tequila. Lee groans.

"Salvador I-"

*Robotic noises.*

Before another word could be spoken Lee heard something moving in the distance and saw a shadow heading behind the rocks.

"You hear that, Niño?" asked Salvador on his guard.

"Yeah, and I saw a shadow too," said Lee.

"How how many?" asked Salvador.

Lee scans the area to try and find more shadows of the enemy, but to no avail. Still, he kept his vigilance, he knew that bandits could get quiet and still as possible to get their prey.

"Just one shadow, doesn't mean more aren't there," said Lee quietly.

"Oh?" uttered Salvador in intrigue. Lee then frowns and narrows, as if he was tired.

"Of course with our luck, we might get ambushed, again," said Lee in an irritated tone. Salvador then brought out a pair of rifles, one Bandit, and one Jakobs. He then wears a smile.

"What direction?" asked Salvador. Lee then pointed at one of the rock formations.

"Over there, but I don-"

Salvador then charged in said direction, ignoring Lee's advice.

"Let's do it!" Salvador said with a smile. Lee naturally thought this was a bad idea.

"Salvador stop!" yelled Lee as he ran after him.

*Robotic Noises*

Lee heard the same sound again. He stopped and looked back for a moment and saw a nightmarish creature; it was a large hulking robotic creature with massive arms with claws at the end of each one with one arm slightly bulkier than the other, floating with an iron spine-like tail where its legs would be, it seemed to be made from metal scrap of all types, a set of tally marks on its left shoulder, a picture of a skull on its arm and one of a padlock heart, finally it had a single blue eye in its metallic head that stared down Lee.

"What the hell is this!?" asked Lee.

The Monster raises its metallic arm and from its robotic fingers(all 4 of them) and energy sprout from them forming into blue claws.

"DAMN!" he yelled.

The Monster then brought down its claws with Lee dodging out of the way with the claws nicking his shoulder, chest, and stomach. He was wounded, though the damage was shallow it burned like fire. Lee rolls back and runs back to Salvador.

"Salvador, over here!" he yelled in pain.

Salvador heard Lee's cry and looked back to see the mechanical monster. Salvador grins and points his guns at the monster while Lee ran away, and it chased him down.

"Pato ahora, niño!" screamed Salvador.

Lee guesses. cause he doesn't know Truxican, that Salvador told him to duck. So slides under Salvador's gun barrels line of sight. Salvador then starts shooting at the monster, making sure not to hit Lee as he made his way beside him. Bullets fly as fast as the wind in a storm but only bounce off the mechanical monster's metal exterior as it blocked Salvador's assault.

"Tough bastard!" thought Salvador.

He continues to gun down the monster and walked toward it. The monster began to form its claws again as Salvador gets closer and closer.

Lee, who had gotten out of Salvador's line of fire, witnessed the distance between Salvador and the monster closing.

"I'll get him from side!" thought Lee. He was about to back him up when a stray of bullets nearly hit him in the arm.

"Damn, again?" he yelled.

Soon more bullets were fired from a distance. To prevent himself from taking any damage, Lee rolls over and takes cover behind one of the rocks. Salvador sees Lee's reaction, he then backs away and throws a grenade at the monster and takes cover.

*EXPLOSION(?)*

I explode kicking up dust and smoke, but not doing any sorts of concussive damage to the monster. As Lee and Salvador hide, they both looked around for the shooter but a hailstorm of bullets struck the rocks they were hiding behind.

As they ducked behind the rock, pieces of the stone and sand were everywhere. Forming into earthy smoke that nearly made it impossible to breathe.

"Ha HA, looks, we are surrounded!" said Salvador. He then reloads his guns and. He fires at the Monster, forcing it to keep its distance as the dust lingered in the air.

"I told you, am-fucking-bush!" yelled Lee in a fit. Salvador then pats Lee's shoulder.

"I call the metal guy, just find the other Putas and take them down!" yelled Salvador. Lee looked from behind the rock and saw the monster charging toward them, but also sees a shadow in the distance, their attacker.

"Got one!" said Lee as he got from behind the rock and left himself open. Salvador ceases his gunfire so Lee could do his thing.

"Really wish you didn't yell out the plan, but okay!" he thought,

Lee charges at the monster. It tries to attack him again it prepares it claws and tries to cut him down, but Lee flips back, dodging the attack with taking any damage. It swings its other set of claws down.

"You won't cut me twice!" said Lee.

Lee jumps back little, and when the claws reach their lowest point Salvador begins shooting at the robot heads and sloppily missing Lee's body. Lee runs up the monster's arm and jumps over its body.

"HA HA HA HA!" yelled Salvador.

Bullets then flew from behind the robot and hit Lee's body, but he guards himself the moment he hears gunfire. He's hit, not enough to slow him down but,

"Damn that hurts!" he thought. He then ran in the direction of the bullets, doing his best to evade them.

"Salvador, I leave Robot-Frankenstein to you!" he yelled over the gunfire. Salvador changes his guns from the rifles and pulled out two Maliwan SMGS; a shock and corrosive.

"Now, let's have some fun!" he yelled.

He then got from behind the rock and began firing its elemental bullets at the robot. As the bullets hit the monster's body, it covered it with electricity and acid it didn't attack. The monster was no longer on the offensive, it backed away, trying to defend against the attack only for Salvador to continue with his assault. It appeared to be taking damage as electricity was crackling and snapping and corrosive was running over its body like slime, much to Salvador's enjoyment.

"What's wrong, not bad-ass when you're facing elemental shit, are you?" asked Salvador in a cocky manner.

However, the blue eye in the monster's head began to glow. Salvador noted this and backed away while he kept shooting, but the monster opened its arms and leaned its head forward, shooting a bolt of lighting from its eye.

"Oh shi-"

Before Salvador could react, he was hit with the bolt of electricity and was sent back to one of the racks with his back hitting it. He falls to the ground, disoriented, confused, and oddly impressed.

"Shit hits like a loader!" he said with a smile. He quickly grabs his guns and sees the robot about to try and carve him up with its claws. Salvador arms himself and smiles.

"Time to die!" he yelled. He then grabs a bunch of grenades and throws them at the monster.

*Explosion*

More dust, fire, and smoke fill the air as the area shook with force. A blue light pierces through the smoke. Salvador then starts firing his bullets again, however, the monster picks up one of the larger rocks and throws it.

"SHIT!' yelled Salvador.

He dodges out of the way, The boulder crashes into the ground. It shakes the ground with Salvador glade he avoided the attack. He was about to charge at the monster when he sees how close it had gotten to him. Salvador tries to fire again only for the monster to strike him in the face forcing Salvador to drop his guns. The damage causes Salvador's nose to bleed, his face bruised, though he smiled.

"That all you got!" he yelled. He pulled out a pistol and shoots at the monster's eye. The monster then grabbed Salvador and pin him to the boulder. It then began to hit Salvador, again and again. It swings hard, hitting his ribs, arms, legs, and his face. Like an Outrunner hitting a scag, it bashes its metal claw into Salvador's body. The impacts caused the boulder to crack.

*BAM*

As he was being, hit Salvador pulled out a Bandit Shotgun and fired it at the monster at point-blank range. The monster staggers back, finally taking damage, its outer hull burned with bullet holes, and its eye was cracked. Electricity crackled all over the mechanical monster's body.

Salvador was in no better condition, he was bleeding from his nose, had a black-eye, cuts, and bruises covered his body with blood seeping from them. Yet he stood with a grin on his face. He pulled out a Maliwan and Hyperion Pistol.

"Don't break on me yet, metal-head!" yelled Salvador.

The mechanical monster then charged energy and fires it at Salvador. Electrocuting him, knocking him back to the boulder. Salvador falls to the ground, he slowly gets up despite the damage he took. He opens his mouth to speak,

*Cough* *Cough*

He coughs up blood, splattering the sand with it. Before he could fire another bullet, he passes out from his injuries. The monster picks up Salvador's small body and carries him away.

Lee was chasing down the hidden gunner running pass the hornets swarm of SMG bullets that came his way. He was far away from Salvador and the mechanical monster. As he made his way through the collection of stones that blocked his view and protected his enemy, he felt more than confident in capturing his enemy. The bandit stops shooting and tossed several grenades. they exploded, creating a smokescreen. Lee covers his mouth and runs through, as he runs through the smoke his eyes and nose burned, he blinks to ease his sight. When he comes out of the smoke, he is greeted with this.

*Bam*

He is shot in the left leg from the far left. He turns his head and ducks the next shot only to see the glimmer of the scope from a sniper rifle above a rock far in the distance.

"He got distance fast!" he thought. He then pulls out his revolver and tries to fire it to be shot it out of his hands, disarming him.

"Oh come on!" he yelled.

As he was about to turn back to pick it up, the next shot is fired, and he dodges behind a rock. He barely moved his head to keep his skull from exploding from gunfire.

"Alright then, no more hiding!" he said, He grins as he forms a plan in his head. He then runs toward where the shot was coming from,

*Bam*

Lee ducks to the side and evades the bullet. He then continues to run. The closer he got, the more of the sniper rifle that he saw; the scope, the barrel, and even its color. Another shot is fired, and Lee dodges out of the way while charging toward his target.

"That's right, keep firing and run out to reload!" he thought.

He continued to run and got closer and closer to the bandit, with the enemy's face and body nearly being visible. No shot was fired again. Lee knew his enemy needed to reload and soon picked up speed. However, he then noticed that the sniper rifle that was used to gun him down was moved away and replaced with another one.

"Oh Crap, another sniper rifle, and its full off ammo!" he thought. He didn't think his plan through.

Just as the bandit was about to fire, with the barrel aimed at Lee's head, the Lee does something desperate. He notes a small stone on the ground and kicks it with all his might. The stone flew at the scope of the new rifle shattering into bits. The bandit's head avoided the stone before it was too late. With the bandit staggered Lee went faster and caught up to his prey

"Now your mine!" yelled Lee. The bandit then looked back only for Lee to tackle him to the ground and pin the bandit's arms back and using his legs to lock with the bandit's as well, disabling him. Lee noted that one of the arms was cold, and the legs were thin too, however that wasn't the only thing.

"There, now how many of you ar-"

He looks down and gets a clearer picture of his attacker. He sees red hair tied into pigtails, a pair of goggles, a sleeveless jean jacket with a red skull undershirt, a skirt, a robot arm, a pair of goggles, with black and white stripe stockings, sneakers and finally a pair of breasts with a feminine face that had a bandage on her right cheek. It was a girl, and the shock nearly kills him.

"Wh-What the-"

"Back off bandit, your cute I don't kiss on the first date!" she said. She had somewhat of a chipper voice.

Lee starts to get dizzy. he quickly lets go of this girl and tries to get on his feet only for her to grab her sniper rifle hit him in the head with the but of her gun. He falls to the ground, he begins hearing the girl talk.

"What a freak, now for the midget," she said.

"S-Salvador," he uttered as he finally passed out.

There was nothing but darkness, no sun, no moon, no light, no Salvador, and no strange girl who was trying to kill them. But there was only a single voice that spoke, a female voice that spoke with anger.

"Never become a Vault Hunter, never!"

*Gasp*

Lee wakes up. To his shock, he was upside down with his hair hanging down, his hands are bound behind his back with rope, his legs and feet were bound as well. He could feel the blood rushing to his head causing him to get a bit dizzy as his body slowly turned. He remembered the monster, the girl, and Salvador getting captured.

"Salvador, Salvador!?" he yelled. He looks to his right and sees Salvador tied up and groaning to himself. His body was slowly turning like Lee's.

"Aye niño, I've got a hangover so could you keep it down?" asked Salvador. Lee sighs, he felt a wave of relief wash over him

"Glad your okay, what happened with the monster?" asked Lee.

"I got my ass kicked, was fun though," said Salvador. With a smile

Lee then looks around and sees that it was now night time, he looked down(or up I don't care) at the night sky and sees the stars. He sees a campfire with a tent, food, guns, and when he looked up, he saw a barrel filled with hot below him and one for Salvador.

"We got captured, damn," uttered Lee.

"What happened to you?" asked Salvador.

"T-There was this girl that knocked me ou-"

"Wait, I got knocked out by a badass robot and you get beaten by a little girl?" asked Salvador with a smile creeping on his face.

"Well to be fair she had a robot arm!" said Lee.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Salvador's laughter rang in the air, it made the water in the barrels ripple, and more importantly, it was causing Lee to be even more embarrassed.

"You got your ass handed to you by a little girl," said Salvador with a smile.

"Hey, I'm 18 dwarf, meaning I am a woman." said a familiar voice.

Lee and Salvador look over and see their attacker upside down with a Hyperion sniper rifle in her hands and the monster robot creature at her side. She looks at Lee and smiles, causing him to tense up while Salvador just chuckles.

"Hello, sleeping beauties," she said. Her voice was unusually bubbly, but then again, Salvador existed and he sounded like he would gargle a tow truck when he spoke.

Lee then tried to break out only for the robot to grab his head, he didn't squeeze, but Lee felt like it could kill him if it wanted to. Lee stays absolutely still.

"Better watch it, Deathtrap already considers you a threat for attacking me and let me say from his history you don't want to get in his way." she said.

"Deathtrap?" asked Lee confused,

"I think she means the butt ugly monster, niño." said Salvador. Deathtrap then let go of Lee's head and floats back over to his master, he then slumps as if its feelings were hurt.

*Robotic noises of sadness*

The female bandit then began to gently pet her robot companion,

"Aww don't listen to him DT, your not ugly, he's just made because he needs to stand on a stool to use the bathroom," she said. Salvador felt a little embarrassed while Lee held in his laughter. She points her gun at Salvador's face.

"Now say you're sorry, bitch!" she said, threateningly Salvador just smiles.

"Go ahead and try girly, I've killed hundreds of bandits uglier than you, but go ahead and threaten with that pee-shooter," said Salvador.

"Awesome, now I won't feel guilty head-shotting you." said the bandit ready to fire.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait!" yelled Lee getting her to stop. The girl doesn't fire and looks at Lee, when she did Salvador sighed in relief. She then walks over to Lee and pokes his stomach with her gun.

"And you tried to kiss me," she looks at Lee's scars," though you are kind of a hunk, girls like being," she said.

"I was not trying to kiss you, you shot at us and um" he looks at Deathtrap, "Deathtrap tried to kill me," said Lee.

"Hey DT is programmed to take out anyone who attacks me, and since I have perfect memory I can say that you shot at me," she said. Lee and Salvador look at each other and then at the girl.

"We didn't shoot at you!" they yelled in unison.

"Uh-huh, you jerks shot at me, and DT went into attack mode!" she yelled back. She put her hand on her hip with Deathtrap mimicking her. Lee then snaps back at her.

"We didn't sh-"

Lee stops, realizing something. He looks at Salvador, narrows his eyes angrily at him. Salvador took note of this and looked confused.

"What?" he uttered, annoyed.

"Salvador, you idiot, you really did shoot at her!" said Lee angrily.

Salvador then remembers shooting off in the distance earlier.

"Oh, my bad," said Salvador. Lee groans to himself, wanting to smack Salvador in the head. He looks down at the girl and starts apologizing.

"I'm so sorry, I swear we didn't want to start a fight we just wandered near here," explained Lee. The girl folds her arms.

"Oh, are you, you weren't sorry when you chased me and broke one of my guns," she said.

"That was a misunderstanding. Also to be honest, I didn't know I was fighting a girl. I probably wouldn't have tackled you if I knew." said Lee. The bandit then had an annoyed look on her face.

"Oh, I get it now, you think just cause I'm a girl I can't take a hit!" she said angrily while poking Lee's chest.

Lee then felt embarrassed and ashamed for what he had said, for some reason. He looked physically sick while he was getting poked by the girl.

"O-oh I-I didn't mean to-" She then pats Lee's face and sticks her tongue out. He tenses up, tries not to move out of the fear that laid in his stomach.

"JK, don't have a cow, I know you were just being nice," she said in a sincere tone. Lee then grins and sighs in relief.

"I have to admit I thought I had you back there, but your like a superhuman that could take my head off!" she said in a bubbly tone. She walks back to Deathtrap.

*Angry robotic noises*

"Well, Deathtrap probably would have insta-killed you if you did," she said. Lee then looks at Salvador, who was now relaxed, seeing this stranger makes him less tense, considering she was saner than most of the bandits that they had met.

"Oh, quick question, what are the water barrels for?" asked Lee as he and Salvador look up at the barrels.

"Oh well, since you didn't kill me when you had the chance, I thought I'd let you live and see if you were sane, you get straight A's. But you two smell, so that's what it's for," she said.

Deathtrap then went behind them and clawed at the ropes, freeing them but also causing them to fall into the water. They both flop around with Salvador, the first to reach the top for air and Lee following behind him. They gasp for air and quickly grab the rims of the barrels, Salvador to keep from drowning, but they do note the smell of lemon and soap.

"A bath," Lee's eyes began to sting, and he rubs them," been ages since I had one, but a warning would have kept me from nearly drowning," said Lee. The girl just shrugs her shoulders. Salvador then angrily slams his fist on the water, splashing it.

"Who cares about that, my manly smell is gone, I have to pop the heads of 18 bandits to get it back, and I ran out of cologne!" complained Salvador.

"Your welcome for the bath and healing you two." said the girl a bit annoyed at Lee and Salvador's response.

"Oh, sorry, thanks," said Lee. She smiles and puts her sniper rifle away and sits down on a nearby rock while Lee and Salvador bathed.

"My name is Gaige, by the way, the strongest Mechromacer on Pandora and hottest bitch on the planet," she said in a casual yet somehow proud tone.

"Lies, that second title belongs to Mad Moxxie!" yelled Salvador. Lee only had a look of confusion while Gaige looked annoyed. Lee introduces himself, to try and ease some tension

"I"m Lee, Vault Hunter," he said. He points to Salvador.

"My bandit slaying friend here is named Salvador, he's a Vault Hunter too," said Lee.

"Ugh I hat big baths," said Salvador to himself as he was trapped in his barrel prison of water

"Wait, you two are Vault Hunters?" asked Gaige as she had a look of intrigue and shock as she looks at them. Lee and Salvador nod. She then rushes over to Lee's barrel and grabs it by its rim and begins shaking it.

"Awesome, its good to see other Vault Hunters here-oh wait; what did you guys find out about the Vault what about eriduim, do you have eridium stashed somewhere, what about the Erdians?!" she asked with excitement in her eyes. She nearly tips Lee's whole tub over, shaking it so much.

Lee looked into Gaige's eyes and saw innocence and excitement from them, a strange thing to see since she nearly killed him. Though his tub being rocked nearly caused him to top over, so he just answers.

"I don't know anything about the Vault, I don't know anything about eriduim, I don't have any, and a-all l I can say about Eridians is that they look weird and have god powers, I think," said Lee in a panic.

"Wait, what do you know?" asked Lee. Gaige then lets go of Lee's barrel, and Gaige runs to her tent. It nearly spills over, but Deathtrap keeps it from falling over.

*Robotic noises.*

"Thank you," said Lee.

"Nice robot, badass looking too," said Salvador as he had gotten used to his watery prison.

*Grateful Robotic noises*

Gaige then returns with a bar of eridium, a strange-looking stone, a piece of paper with strange writing on it, and a map.

"I've spent an entire year trying to figure this stuff out, I found bars of eridum and even some nugget from some Hyperion dumbasses, and I found a weird rock with these words written on them," said Gaige.

"What's it mean?" asked Lee. Gaige shrugged.

"I don't frickin know, I can't translate any of it, no matter what I look up or cross-reference over the net, no language matches up with it," she yelled angrily. Lee looked at that stone and its writing, both looked very familiar.

"That's relic alright," he thought.

"I found out that the eriduim also began to sprout up 3 years ago, and Hyperion just happened to stumble upon it, coincidence my ass!" said Gaige in a fit of anger and excitement.

"No one said it was c-"

"They occupied Pandora to mine this stuff to make weapons, not only that but Handsome Jack says that he opened the Vault so its Hyperion property," said Gaige.

"Blahblah, Hyperion thinks everything is their property, the Dust, my village, everything," said Salvador uninterested. However, Lee was amazed and impressed that Gaige had found out so much already. Even if what she knew was general knowledge.

"Be quiet Salvador, let the lady speak," said Lee impatiently. Gaige smiles when she heard that.

"Aw, thank you," she said.

"Hey, Lee did you actually meet an Eridian, or did you just see statues?" asked Gaige. Lee paused before answering.

"I've seen statues, some of those relics, but that's all I can say," said Lee. He slumps over the edge of the barrel a little.

"But I haven't found anything on Pandora about the Vault," said Lee.

"So you're stuck in the water too, huh?" asked Gaige. Lee was about to speak up when Salvador interrupts.

"Naw I can get out anytime, its just comfy now," he said. Lee shakes his head and answers Gaige.

"Well, I was hoping to get more info, Salvador and I were going to get on the Hyperion train when our engine died on us," said Lee. Gaige then goes to her tent and brings back a can of gasoline.

"Is that what this is for?" asked Gaige.

"Salvador, was actually- um drinking that." said Lee awkwardly. Gaige then looks at Salvador confused as all living hell.

"You're crazy," she said. Salvador just grins.

"I am Salvador," he said with pride.

"Anyway, we were walking to get to the train, I figured it would lead me to Handsome Jack," said Lee. Gaige then scoff.s

"Trust me, if that global weapons asshole is anywhere he's on Helios in his safe room away from Pandora like the bitch, he thinks he's not," said Gaige. She then brings up a picture of the train, which catches Salvador and Lee's attention.

"Hey, Salvador is that-"

"The train!" said Salvador finished Lee's sentence.

"I've been planning on getting on this train for ages, I heard it is filled to the rim with eridium that Jack had mined. I had to learn all the train routes, the stops, and the eridium mining plants." she said. Lee then chuckles, impressed with Gaige's planning.

"You don't do things half-assed," said Lee.

"My ass makes it impossible, mama doesn't mess around!" said Gaige with pride as she smacked her own ass.

Lee chuckled as Salvador splashed around in his bath. He was in complete envy of Gaige. She had more planning to getting on the train than he and Salvador had put together. This was another chance to get onto the train and learn more about the Vault. More importantly, Gaige seemed more put together than Lee was. He had no choice but to ask.

"Can we come?" asked Lee.

"Huh, you want to go to the train with me?" asked Gaige. Lee nodded.

"Yeah, look I wan- need to open the Vault," said Lee He gestures to himself then Salvador.

"I know we didn't have a good start, but I swear we didn't mean to shoot at you," said Lee. He then turns to Salvador.

"Isn't that right?!" he asked, irritated at his ally, sparking this confrontation.

"Yeah, I didn't mean to shoot her, her head would be gone if I did," said Salvador. He chuckles at his own statement while Lee and Gaige grumble.

"Also, you seem to be the luckiest thing that's happened to me so far, you've already done so much, and you're pretty capable too," said Lee. Gaige nearly blushed hearing that.

"Aww, stop your making blush," she said.

She had already determined that Lee and Salvador(him not so much) were not immediate threats. The moment Lee gave her an opening to knock him out proved that. They were capable of cognitive speech and weren't screaming for murder. Lee seemed nic,e and he seemed pretty strong, she honestly thought he would be an easy kill. Salvador being able to take on Deathtrap spoke for itself. It was also nice to find someone else interested in the Vault, that wasn't a robot.

"Okay, Lee. Just as long as you and Salvadwarf don't slow me down," said Gaige. She picks the gasoline can up.

"And lucky for yo,u I needed this," said Gaige. Lee smiled, but Salvador quickly interjected

"Wai,t wai,t wait, don't I get a say in this?" asked Salvador. Lee and Gaige then look at Salvador. They didn't disagree with that sentiment, Lee didn't ask him first.

"Oh, sorry Salva-"

"I'm in, I like the robot guy," said Salvador. Deathtrap then pats Salvador's head and goes back to Gaige.

"Then it's settled," said Lee.

"Good, we'll leave in the morning, the early bird gets worm or early Rakk kills the Thresher," said Gaige. She then points at her tent.

"Your guns are in there, along with your other stuff." said Gaige. She goes over to her tent, and Deathtrap follows her.

Lee then relaxes in his barrel, Salvador does the same and leans back enjoying the tub. Lee looks up at the night sky and felt serine. One of the things that he noticed about Pandora was that at night it was somewhat calming and deceitful. When the sun set the bright its almost painful light and its bright colors were replaced with calm, cold ad relaxing ones. Not only that, but the stars revealed themselves in all their beauty, like souls on their way to heaven or angels desperately wishing to come down. The lights of the broken moon and Helios even acted like guardians despite their true intent. It almost made you forget that you were on Pandora.

*GUNSHOTS*

*MANIAC SCREAMING*

Almost made you forget. Lee then looked at the items that Gaige had left out, they were clues to the Vault, Eridians, and their meaning. He wished he understood what they meant, all he felt was familiarity from all of it. However, everything that resulted in today seemed to work out for the best, despite their near-death experience. Hopefully, things would stay that way.
