Council POV
The council members all dipped their heads into their hands.
Is this our fault?
How could we let this happen?
The masters then looked towards the demonic child that stood before-them. He looked so young and innocent, but in realty there were horrors behind that face than no-one of the council could ever have imagined. Not even Master Yoda.
"How could we not sense this pain radiating from Skywalker. it seems so obvious now" Master Plo asked.
"Know about this Kenobi and I did" Yoda responded, "Hid it well Skywalker did, though came to us he did"
"How could you not tell us this?" Master Mundi asked with a hint of frustration
"Spread fear we did not want to," Yoda responded, "Also, alienate Skywalker we did not want, here to help he is."
The other masters were still conflicted. How could they work alongside a monster who had killed so many of their friends?
"Also, Palpatine is the sith lord. How could you not tell us that?" Mundi asked with more frustration
"In the past timeline I told master Windu about Palpatine. They rushed of to arrest him, and that is where everything changed. The Jedi were accused of treason and the clones given orders to execute all the Jedi. i wanted to make sure we are ready to expose Palpatine as a sith lord to the senate rather than try and arrest him and inevitably be seen as mutinous in the eyes of the senate." Anakin said
"The clones?" Plo asked
"In my vision you saw me and master Kenobi leading white armored troopers. And those troopers you saw in the vison raiding the Jedi temple. They were clones. In about 8 years the separatist alliance led by count Dooku will provoke a massive war known as the clone wars. These troopers will fight on our side, but secretly they have chips implanted in their heads which allowed Sidious to give the order to wipe out the Jedi. " Anakin replied
"You said Dooku led this conflict?" A master spoke up
"Yes. Dooku is already working for Sidious as we speak. The only reason he came to the temple was to find the disturbance in the force that I am. He grew disillusioned with the Jedi and the republic, and honestly I don't blame him. You don't care for the outer-rim worlds, and when you do it is simply to exploit them for resources and wealth. There is slavery and suffering which you have all neglected. The worlds that had become disillusioned with the Jedi and republic formed an alliance called the separatist alliance. In principle it was a good cause, but Dooku and Sidious corrupted it and it was funded y the trade federation who are all greedy and exploitative. That is why the separatists were seen as evil." Anakin spoke trying to get a little hit at the Jedi.
Most of the Jedi seemed to be taken aback by Skywalkers claim of the Jedi and republic failing the outer-rim systems. But deep down they knew he was right.
"I think I have a way to bring down Sidious. " Anakin said gravely
The master all heightened their focus on him.
"The only reason he was able to gain supreme power was due tot he clone wars. The conflict allowed Sidious to manipulate the galaxy into wanting an empire, and that the jedi needed to be eliminated. if we were to help the separatist worlds then maybe we can keep them within the republic and prevent a war. Of course the trade federation would have to be dealt with , but the separatist senate can be reasoned with." Anakin spoke
Obi-wan seemed impressed with his Padawan.
"A good idea this is" Yoda replied, "Elevated to rank of Padawan you will be and behind your quest alongside Knight Kenobi you will. Know the best of what to do you do, help we will also, but to start alone you will go to avoid the suspicion of Sidious."
Anakin knew he was far too young to be given rank of Knight and it would immediately lead to unwanted attention, but he was already nearly of age to be a Padawan so it wouldn't be too suspicious.
"Thank you master" Anakin responded gracefully.
Anakin POV
That went better than I expected. At least now we can begin to bring down Sidious.
First mission is to save Ventress from the dark side..
Note: I am changing the timeline a little. I am going to have Ventress's fall tot he dark side around this time. In reality She turned a year before the clones wars, but I want to spice things up a little.
"Master. The first place we need to go is the planet of Rattatak. Shortly master Ky Narec will be killed by pirates and his Padawan will fall the the dark side and help Dooku. We need to save them." Anakin informed his master
"Very well." Kenobi responded with a smile.
The 2 Jedi went to jedi starfighters and set course for Rattatak.
They entered the system and descended upon the planet. Immediately the sip was shot at by blaster fire. Anakin began spinning whilst Obi wan was trying to dodge the shots. Pirate ships then approached and opened fire, but Anakin was prepared. he disabled his engine and stopped. The pirates couldn't react in time and they went past him, Anakin proceeded to open fire destroying 2 pirate ships. He then went and destroyed the one tailing his master.
"Wow, impressive" Obi wan spoke over the comms.
A hand launched rocket rapidly propelled to Anakin's ship, but before it could hit it froze mid-air and returned back to the pirated killing them.
"Did you do that?" Anakin asked
"No." Obi wan replied.
The Jedi looked down and saw 2 green blades slicing through pirates
The Jedi landed and immediately shot out and ignited their blades and ran towards the green blades already in action.
Blaster fire came from all sides, but the 4 Jedi were easily able to deflect them back and eliminate all the pirates.
Once the pirated had been either killed or fled the Jedi deactivated their lightsabers.
"I didn't know we were getting reinforcements." Master Narec stated
"We're not here on official Jedi business. We were nearby and heard of a pirate invasion and we decided to come and help"
"Well, thank you for your help." Narec said, "Although who is this child. he seems to young to be on missions"
At this time Ventress was about 20, so they don't comment on her age
"He is gifted with the force and has been granted Padawan hood early"
Anakin Spoke up, "We need to take out the pirate leader Hondo Ohnaka". In the future Anakin would come to somewhat like Ohnaka but he would cause much more suffering in future, so he had to be either eliminated or forced to stop his pirate ways. He will most likely be situated on Florrum. He doesn't like doing much of the dirty work himself"
"How do you know all this?" Narec asked
"I have my ways" Anakin replied ominously
Narec was about to follow up but decided against it.
The Anakin and Obi wan got to their starfighters, and the 2 others had a ship hidden away in a nearby mountain which they used.
They approached Florrum and were immediately greeted by 2 massive pirate cruisers. Instead of opening fire Obi-wan opened a communications line.
"This is jedi knight Obi-Wan Kenobi. We would like to speak to the exulted Hondo Ohnaka"
Hondo POV
"Boss, there are people claiming to be jedi who want to speak with you." A pirate captain said
"Let them pass. A Jedi will hold good ransom"
Anakin POV
"We have been given permission to land" Obi wan told everyone via comms.
"Be careful. He will likely try and hold us ransom. It's what pirates like this do" Anakin responded
Narek held his head in confusion. How did this child who couldn't have been older than 12 know all of this?
They landed in-front of the pirate base. they were welcomed by nearly 50 blasters aimed at their faces.
"Told you" Anakin said
They ignited their lightsabers and held them in a defensive position.
"You have no need for those laser-swords" Hondo emerged from the base and said in a loud but rather playful voice
Obi-Wan looked up and saw snipers from above glaring down at them as well as pirate gunships approaching over them.
"Drop your weapons" Anakin told the group
"What?" Ventress asked shocked
"Trust me" Anakin said reassuringly
They dropped their lightsabers and raised their hands
"Now my friends" What did you want the great Hondo Ohnaka for" Hondo spoke self-righteously
"We wanted to negotiate an end to your occupation of Rattatak" Narek replied
"HAHA, " Hondo laughed, "Since when did the Jedi of all people care about these worlds"
Anakin crumpled his fist.
Obi wan took notice of this.
"If you do not let us go and promise to free Rattatak then I promise you will regret your very existence"
All the other Jedi were immediately shook by this dark comment. Even the pirates were taken aback.
"You think you can do anything to me child" Hondo shot back, but with a hint of fear in his voice. "Take their Jedi weapons and take them to the cells"
The pirated cuffed the Jedi and led them to the cells. Obi-Wan and Anakin were placed together and Ventress and Narec together.
"So what's your big plan?" Kenobi asked with a sense of doubt in his voice
"I told you to trust me" Anakin replied with a bit of anger.
Hondo POV
Hondo reached for a communication device and set it to a republic frequency. it reach Master Di who was the closest to Florrum.
"Who is this?" Master Di asked
"I am Hondo Ohnaka. I Have taken 4 of your Jedi people including one of the little ones prisoner. If you want them back I require 10 million republic credits"
"I will have to put you through to the Jedi council. I am in no position to negotiate. Especially with such large sums of money" Master Di replied
"Very well. As long as I get paid, you get your Jedi back" Hondo shot back
Master Di relayed Hondo to the Jedi council.
"Hello, Hello" Hondo repeated trying to get some form of attention. Finally the hologram changed to a picture of Master Yoda.
"Who are you" Master Yoda asked.
"I am the great Hondo Ohnaka. I have taken 4 of your Jedi people prisoner including one of the little ones. If you want them back i will expect 10 million republic credits worth of spice. Also, might i say that the little ones is a wild fella. he would make a great pirate." Hondo responded with a laugh at the end.
The council all murmured.
"It must be Skywalker and Kenobi. But who are the other 2, perhaps he is bluffing about having 4." Master Plo spoke
"Perhaps bluff it is. But take risks i do not want to" Yoda replied, " Proof of life we want"
"That can be done" Hondo responded cheerfully.
"Bring me the prisoners" Hondo ordered some pirates.
A couple minutes later the 4 Jedi, all force-cuffed with shock collars around their necks. They were then chained to an energy pillar. (If you watched the clone wars season 1 episode the Gungan General then you know what this is)
"Here they are!" Hondo stated enthusiastically
"Master Narec and his Padawan ventress they are, as well ask Kenobi and Skywalker" Yoda said
"Now to show you i am serious..." Hondo said before pressing a button
The Jedi began violently vibrating and shaking as electricity ran through them. Shrieks of pain came from all of them except Skywalker.
"What!" Hondo spoke surprised, "How is the little Jedi not affected by the electricity"
Yoda gave a little smile
The other Jedi weren't so amused. They knew skywalker wasn't really a child, but Hondo didn't know that. So the fact Hondo was willing to torture a child was greatly disturbing.
"STOP" Master Plo shouted at Hondo, " He Is just a child you monster"
"Hondo laughed and amplified the electricity" The other Jedi continued to shriek and shake, but Anakin was almost unaffected. he had grown accustomed to pain and in particular lighting from his punishment's from Sidious.
Anakin, though, couldn't stand to watch his master in such pain and finally decided it was time. He broke free from the chains to the shock of all the onlookers. he then forced pulled his lightsaber which was on a table next to Hondo. He then proceeded to force choke the pirate leader forcing him to drop his activator and stopped the electricity. The other pirates looked in horror as Hondo held his hands to his neck. The other pirates aimed at the boy but didn't dare fire.
The council masters also looked shocked, but knew it wasn't as disturbing as it would be if a regular Padawan did it.
Anakin launched his lightsaber at the pillars holding the other Jedi causing it to release the,=m. he then used the force to undo the cuffs and shock collars. He released Hondo from his grasp but held his lightsaber to the pirates neck.
To the surprise of Skywalker Hondo only started laughing.
"Gooood. HaHa, you would make an excellent pirate. Why don't you consider joining my crew. You are ruthless and powerful."
"I'm not here to play games pirate scum" Anakin yelled angrily, "We are going to walk out of here. And you are going to stop your attacks on innocent people"
"We still outnumber you jedi boy. You can't leave that easily"
Anakin had had enough. He deactivated his lightsaber and raised both hands in the air.
"See, us pirates are too powerful for you je..." Hondo was interrupted
All the pirated in the room elevated slightly of the ground and began squeezing their necks with their hands.
"Anakin let them go" Obi wan demanded
"Don't worry. I'm not going to kill them. Just teach them a lesson" Anakin replied gravely
Narec and ventress only looked on in horror as the child before them force choked over 30 pirates simultaneously.
The council were also watching with some shock, but they knew how Skywalker was able to do it.
Anakin released them all, and they dropped to the floor.
They all began coughing and struggled to get back to their feet.
"Now. I don't want to hurt any of you. in fact i want to hire you" Anakin said
"What.. do you mean" Hondo replied still coughing
"Instead of raiding innocent people, I want to hire you to raid the hips of the trade federation and other targets i provide. You will be well compensated and anything you steal you can keep."
Everyone was surprised.
"I know you have a heart Hondo. So instead of harming innocent people you can help us target other more dangerous criminals"
Hondo didn't even think for a second before replying, "I'm in"
The other pirates all seemed in agreement as well. Although robbing civilian ships was fun they could make lots of profit raiding trade federation ships, and with the help of the Jedi they would he invincible.
The Senate can not get hold of this so I will give your missions in secret. These will be of the books.
The council seems wary of this but they had to trust Skywalker knew what he was doing.
"Your first mission will be to target Poggle the Lesser. I will send the details soon"
Anakin gave Hondo his contact details.
The Jedi left the base and went to their ships.
Hondo POV
The Jedi had left
"Are you sure this is a good idea boss?" A pirate asked
"It's the only option we have. That boy could kill us all. But if we do this right we could make far more profit working with the Jedi than having them against us" Hondo replied
"Begin to pull all forces of any invaded worlds including Ratterak" Hondo said with a slight sadness in his voice
Anakin POV
The Jedi all set course for Coruscant. Upon landing at the temple they were greeted by the Jedi Council as well as The chancellor.
