Pat_re_on prices have changed. I've lowered all of them. In fact, it now costs only a buck to vote on what stories get updated as a basic Patron, and even the higher Tiers are cheaper.
None of my works will be hidden behind a pay wall, rather this is to let you all decide which story you want to see updated sooner and motivate me to do so. I know that I will work harder and be more motivated to write knowing that you paid to vote for that story.
Tier 1- $1.00: Vote on what currently running story of mine you want updated first.
Tier 2-$4.00: Vote on new ideas or tell me to focus on what I have.
Tier 3-$8.00: Send me prompts/ideas for one shots or short fanfics. We talk, put them on a separate poll and the winner of that one gets written. Plus these stories will be made available to these members a week early.

Chapter 15: Who ordered the yakitori?
Another 2 weeks had passed since the incident with the Kendo girls. Since then, nothing much has happened. Tsubame had moved, and it seemed like Phantom activity was taking a break. While worrisome, Issei was partially glad as he still had all that past school work to catch up on, not to mention everything going on in the present including his job as a devil. So, he made good use of his time as much as possible. It was a good break and allowed his body and mind to relax.
Which was why he noticed some Rias's strange behavior. Lately she's been staring off into space, a distant expression upon her face. Whenever she got like that it would take a bit of prodding to get her attention. She would apologize, brush it off by saying that she was distracted, then try to get back in the conversation. Issei tried to ask, but was just told to proceed as normal. Even Asia picked up on her behavior, but could not really say anything since she was more used to healing physical wounds over mental problems. So, all Issei could do was wait. He figured she would be ready to talk when she decided to trust them more, unless it was something minor that resolved itself.
Based on the fact that she was currently in his room, straddling him on his bed and asking him to take her virginity it was obviously much more serious than he could have ever thought.
Luckily, Issei was prepared for something like this. Ever since waking up to Raynare and Rias in his bed, Issei has been weary of a similar situation happening expect with those bearing ill intent. His solution was to wear the Handauthor belt to bed and keep the rings within grabbing distance. The moment rias leaned down towheads him he flipped her over, pinning her to the bed, he quickly grabbed a spell and scanned it. Bind; Please! With that he quickly created six chains that wrapped around her half naked body and tied her up real tight. That was when Raynare and Kalawarner burst into the room, awakened by the commotion and rushing in to protect their new master. Once they were calmed down, Issei got ready to ask Rias some serious questions. Of course that's when a white magic circle appeared, this one bearing an emblem he did not recognize, out of which a silver haired maid with excellent proportions appeared.
Issei could tell she was a devil. Going by the nervous expression Rias had when gazed upon by the new arrival, a powerful and high ranking one. He had to put a hand on the Fallens' shoulders to keep them from getting into attack position when the attention was shifted towards him.
"I assume you are Lady Rias's latest peerage member." She spoke, a voice full of calm collected elegance.
"Issei Hyoudou." He replied. "Her pawn."
"May I ask why you felt the need to bind her in such a rude manner?" Issei could feel the tension in the air despite her tone of voice not changing at all.
"She shows up asking me to take her virginity." Issei quickly replied. "It's so strange that she's either mind controlled, an imposter, or she's not thinking straight due to the stress of some personal issue."
For a moment there was nothing but silence and tension.
"You have made a good decision." The maid nodded, the tension dissipating as she gave a small bow. "My name is Grayfia, the head maid of the Gremory family. I am here to escort Lady Rias to her parents to discuss important family matters." With that she walked over, Issei and his familiars moving to the side, and picked up Rias with ease, chains and all. "We shall see each other soon." She promised as another circle appeared at her feet. Rias was barely able to give Issei an apologetic glance before being teleported away.
"Well that was a thing." Issei sighed, putting the ring back in place and fixing the bed. When he was about to get back in, his arms were grabbed by the two Fallen Angels. He merely had to look in their eyes to see that they would not let him sleep alone this time. He could only sigh in exhaustion and let them in. Now he had to be wary of Raynare getting handsy thanks to Echii. Not that he actually remembered what she did while in control, but he could tell just from looking.
The Next Day at Kuoh
The day started out quite normal. Aside from that strange dream where Ddraig tried to talk to him in a sea of flames, everything went as expected. Even though Rias wasn't there, undoubtedly because of last night, he still did a light job, woke up Asia, went to school and the usual. It did seem like Raynare and Kalawarner were making some plans, but since they did not bring it up he decided to leave them be until needed.
School itself was normal. While he did see glimpses of Rias here and there and noticed her distant expression, he decided that it would be better for her to explain things herself. She owed him that much considering the home invasion she performed last night. Other than that, Issei did not expect much from the day. M&M continued their perverted ways and attempts to reconvert Issei, he smacked them when they tried to inappropriately talk to Asia, the usual.
However, once classes were over, Issei had to send Asia ahead of him with Kiba. An important phone call from a certain someone was more important and best to be taken care of in the privacy of the school court yard.
"It has been a while, Kanzaki."
"Indeed." The man on the other end replied. Issei could practically hear the glasses being pushed up his face. "I understand you have found yourself in quite the situation, Issei Hyoudou."
"But that's not why you're calling." Issei stated with confidence as he leaned against a tree. "You're not the kind of person who would waste a phone call just to check up on me, especially when the call is coming from Section 0 itself and not your personal cell."
"It's about the information you relayed to us from Hitman."
"I'm listening." Issei replied, his eyes narrowed and expression stern.
"To summarize," Kanzaki could be heard taking a deep breath, "There is much that we don't actually know."
"Based upon his statement, we assumed that Phantoms were made from Gates that held certain positions or skill sets, especially in the underworld. Unfortunately, that makes it hard to determine who might have been turned. Even with cooperation, there are not too many reports about disappearances on the day of the eclipse. It might be due to their status or them returning to their lives after being turned so as to keep up appearances. In either case, we don't have a wide enough suspect pool to look through. On top of that, we have started investigating institutions for mental patients and prisons. Given the old reports, the Legion Phantom might have been born from a mental patient. Add that to truth about Gremlin's Gate and Hitman's mention of producing more Phantoms over time, we believe that they might be using some of these facilities to search for Gates and create Phantoms from them. Not to mention all the double checking we are doing into cold cases in case another Takigawa Sora is hiding right under our noses."
"He admitted to being backed by Foundation X. Is there a way to connect them to something like this?"
"We are pursuing that angle as well, but the foundation is even harder to track. However, we do think that rather than spreading themselves out and using many institutions, they would search for Gates then have them transferred to one central location under whatever appropriate pretext where they can observe, experiment, and grow at leisure."
"But I'm not calling just to give you an update. According to your last report to Agent Rinko, you never actually saw the human form of the last Phantom you destroyed, correct?"
"Yeah. Is that a problem?" Issei asked confusedly.
"If you had seen them, or at best taken a picture, we could have used that information to determine the Gate from which they originated."
"I'm guessing that's important?" Issei asked, a bit of sweat forming on his brow.
"It would certainly be helpful." Kanzaki replied evenly. "Each bit of data helps to find more. Knowing about the Gates that these Phantom came from could help us determine where more might come from, or how old they might be. All of which we won't know because her identity has remained concealed from us."
"I-I'm sorry," Issei replied, a mix of nervousness and frustration in his voice. "I didn't think-"
"Which means the enemy is aware of this as well." Kanzaki's words made Issei stop his apology and realization hit his face. "From the report, the lights themselves went out, meaning that the Phantom was intent on hiding their identity from the start. We already know they are organized and working with mad scientists. It's not too much of a stretch for them to anticipate the application of data like this."
"Just do try to collect that information when you can. Saving lives obviously comes first, but try to keep the big picture in mind." And with that, without even a salutation of any sort, he hung up.
For a few minutes, Issei stared at his phone, going over the entire conversation and processing what it means. Closing it, he could not hold back the fist that slammed into the tree as he cursed himself for being so short sighted, even though there was no real chance that he would come so such conclusions.
Taking a deep breath to calm himself, he started making his way to the ORC clubroom. During the entire walk he was considering ways of collecting that info, making notes to ask Rias whether or not familiars could record what they see. His musings were cut short when he got to the door and felt a build up of heat from the other side. Being safe, he creaked it open a bit and heard an unknown male talking.
"I could destroy this entire place with ease if I felt like it." The voice threatened.
That was enough for Issei.
Kicking down the door, he pulled out his WizarGun (Connect; Please!) and fired off several bullets at the only unknown male in the room, the same one who seemed to be creating the flames that were starting to spread. As the bullets struck the enemy right along the spine, with a few even hitting the ass, and made him scream Issei charged forward switching his weapons to sword mode he jumped into the air and brought the blade down upon the foe right as he turned to face him making the attack bisect him right down the middle, intensifying his earlier screams. However, when Issei saw flames come from the attack rather than blood he jumped back and readied his rings. This was the first time he took notice of his opponent, a tall probably mid adult man with blond hair wearing a suit that was opened at the chest, as if begging people to look at him. Of course it was all ruined by the flames coming out of him from the bullet and blade wounds.
"You bastard!" the blonde broiler yelled out, somehow holding his sliced burning head, though it did seem to be coming back together. "How dare you att-"
"You will restrain yourself Riser Phenex." Grayfia spoke in a tone that demanded authority, as well as Issei's attention as he just realized she was there. "Issei's response is appropriate given your threats. Had he not interfered," the air just got heavy all of a sudden, and Issei had a good idea who was causing it, "I would have used a more permanent method to stop you." The now named Riser Phenex seemed to growl only to pull it back when Grayfia stared at him hard. The fires receded and he took a seat on the couch.
"Who's gonna get me up to speed here?" Issei asked, hand still gripping his weapon and eyes not leaving the pretentious poser acting like he owned the place.
It took a minute for Issei to get caught up on the arranged marriage between Riser and Rias. Frankly, he did not get the logic. If devils had a hard time producing babies naturally, how does sticking to "pure blooded devils" make sense? Sounded like multiplying a small fraction by a small fraction which would get an even smaller results.
Though, Issei's mind was less on the information and more on the visitor's actions. He was sitting next to Rias, constantly forcing his arm over her shoulder, leering at Akeno as she served him tea, and constantly making passes at Koneko and Asia. Just the mere thought of him laying his hands on them, much less going beyond that…lets just say it was impressive that he was able to absorb anything at all. When Riser made another claim about forcing Rias back to the underworld, Issei could not hold back his retort.
"Someone's insecure." He said aloud. And he did not regret it even as the man who was threatening to burn the school earlier glared at him with equal flame.
"Care to repeat that you lowly servant."
"Its obvious that the you're pushing her to get back to Hell is because you fear her finding a good man here that she'd take as a husband over you." Issei replied nonchalantly. "And honestly," he shrugged, "that's probably really easy. Half the guys here are better than pretentious compensating peacocks like you."
"How dare you!"
"I mean I get that you're the third son so you're probably a throw away, but have some dignity."
"You son of a-!"
"That's enough." Grayfia interjected. "It is quite unbecoming of you to fall for such simple provocation, Riser Phenex." The blonde could only wince at the insult. "As for you Issei," she turned to the young man, and he almost thought the very very tip of her mouth was up in a smirk, "save that manner of talking for when you are promoted to High Class or else the more easily agitated nobles will take action."
"I'll keep that in mind." He said in a tone that was purposefully resigned to at least show he was surrendering in a sense. He did take a bit of satisfaction both from Riser's furious expression as well as Rias and other's impressed looks, though he wasn't sure what he did was worthy of praise.
Once again the issue of Rias's engagement came up and blew into a full blown shout fest. Grayfia quickly intervened and informed the two of the solution offered by the families, a Rating Game. After getting an overview of the event and the significance it held to devils, Issei and to others agreed. He almost facepalmed at Riser's response to the challenge. Not only did he call forth his peerage just to show off their numbers and the fact that they were all women, but he grabbed the oldest looking one and groped her right in front of everyone, all with a grin on his face.
"Guess you're more rooster than peacock." Issei snarked, getting everyone's attention once again. "At least peacocks are pleasant on the eyes. Roosters are only good for screeching and waking people up."
"You lousy Pawn!" Riser spat, gnashing his teeth. "Learn your place! Mira! Show this fool the strength of a real devil!" The young blue haired girl of the group jumped forward and thrusted her staff at Issei, instilling fear into Asia and Rias while Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko got into stances.
However, the scream of pain the followed was not from the ringed mage. In fact, it was quite high pitched.
"So are Pawns meant to attack their own King?" Issei asked smugly as the staff passed through the magic circle on his hand (Connect; Please!) coming out the other end right into Riser Phenex's crotch. The Gremory peerage were dumbstruck while the Phenex were shocked still. "Or are your attacks just that easy to read?" He finished with a smirk as he cancelled the spell causing the weapon to break in half with the hitting end falling from Riser's crushed crotch allowing him to finally fall to his knees in pain. His peerage ran to him in an attempt to console him. With a pained expression he tried to glare at Grayfia.
"Aren't you-"
"You ordered an attack, he defended himself." She interjected settling the mater quickly, forcing him to turn back to the troublesome Pawn.
"Just you wait." He growled. "When I get my hands on you-"
Whatever Riser was going to say got interrupted when the Crystal Ball, which had been placed on Rias's desk, began glowing, getting everyone's attention, even Grayfia's.
"Phantom." Issei stated, eyes narrowed and fists tightened.
"Looks like it's at a park." Rias said as she jumped to the magical item. Holding her hand over the ball, a magic circle appeared and tendrils of magic connected to it. "I'll have the exact location in a second." She said to Issei without looking back. Not that it would have mattered as he had already grabbed his helmet and was running towards the balcony.
"Got it." He called back as he jumped out of the room calling his bike right under him (Connect; Please!), revving it up right before it landed screeching as the tire treads gripped into the dirt and zoomed off. At the same time, Asia and Akeno prepared the magic circle while Koneko and Kiba grabbed their equipment.
"What's going on!" Riser exclaimed, his voice returning to its normal pitch. "We're not done here!"
"Our conversation can wait." Rias grunted as she broke the circle and sent a text to Issei. "We've got something more important to take care of."
"What could be more important than me!"
"Saving lives." Was all she said before giving a nod to her peerage and activating the teleportation circle."
Meanwhile…
"Vlameter is doing his job." Hitman informed Lawyer keeping his voice even.
"This better be worth it." The mysterious Phantom stated, almost growled, knowing that phase 1 of Project Phoenix had begun.
Okay.
Those of you who have followed me for a while know that I don't share too much of my life and am always vague about stuff. The most specific detail I remember sharing was when my dad did something to the laptop that erased my progress on one of my chapters. So please take seriously what I am about to say, even though I won't reveal too much.
As of this posting, I am 25 years old, and I am in my final semester at college for a Bachelors Degree in Literature focusing on Creative Writing. Yes I had to take extra time to finish. I am well aware of where I stand compared to my peers and where I messed up but that's neither here nor there. Currently I am unemployed though I have had a couple of jobs over the years and am now working on applications to different companies and programs for when I graduate. I have three younger siblings. The youngest 2 graduated last spring. One moved to Wisconsin for her new job and the other went to Berkley for Grad school. As for the first youngest, she is autistic. She attends community college but needs quite a bit of help and as a result she too will be graduating this semester despite being only a year younger than me.
Now here is the important part. My dad has chosen to retire after over 20 years of working for Shell all because they decided that it would be cheaper to get stuff done over in India. I won't get into the details about how this will affect our financials in the future. We are set for quite some time and thanks to his severance package he does not have to even touch his pension for the next month. However, he has reminded us that we need to keep saving money to help support my autistic sister.
When I created my pa_tr_eon account, I merely wanted to start saving and building up a bit of extra money so that I could take care of small things in the future. Now, however, I intend to use this for both myself and my sister. So to my current patrons I say, thank you for your help so far and I will forever be grateful for every cent you have given me. To my future patrons, thank you for your support and I hope to deliver great stories to all of you.
Speaking of stories, here a few announcements.
First, I AM DOING A CHRISTMAS SPECIAL EXCLUSIVE TO MY PATRONS!
That's right! I'll post a separate poll on my pat_re_on listing all the ideas I have for a Christmas special. It will be open to all my patrons for them to vote for a week. That way there is plenty time for anyone who wants to jump in and vote and I still have a over a month to write the actual oneshot. It will be posted on my pat_re_on and it will only my patrons will be able to read it.
Secondly, from now on whenever I post a new chapter, I will include new ideas I have here in the lower AN. These are the new stories that my Tier 2 patrons get to vote on, and on those polls you can vote for multiple choices! So if you see a story idea(s) you really want to see me execute just pledge $4 per month and you get to cast your vote! And even if your pic does not win, you still get to decide what currently running series gets updated!

An Old Arc: RWBY- Everyone talks about Jaune Arc, heir to the prestigious Arc family, but few dare to explore the man who inspired him. How about we take a look at his grandfather, the one and only Arthur Arc. See the life he lived, the way he viewed the world, the choices he made and how they shaped the world of Remnant. Slight AU as Remnant's history will be different.
Tootsuki Serves Another World: Shokugeki no Soma/Isekai Shokudou-After retaking Tootsuki, its time for Soma and his gang to take a break. However, this break will be spent doing Dojima a favor as he helps a certain restaurant expand. These chefs are certainly up to the challenge, but it will still make them crazy. One-Shot, maybe Two.
Jaune Serves Another World: RWBY/Isekai Shokudou-Jaune has a secret job and all his friends want to know what it is. Why does he leave Friday night and return Sunday morning, why does he refuse to talk about his job and who is Aletta! (that's mostly Phyrra asking)
Dragons on Geminar: High School DxD/Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar-When the leaders of the Pantheons sealed themselves away with 666, the beast had other plans. Vali and Issei managed to keep it from escaping but fell deep into the Dimension Gap. Not only do they stop a certain transfer ritual, they end up in another world. One that will end up quaking from the might of the Heavenly Dragons
Dragons in Remnant: High School DxD/RWBY- When the leaders of the Pantheons sealed themselves away with 666, the beast had other plans. Vali and Issei managed to keep it from escaping but fell deep into the Dimension Gap. Issei manages to get them to world once broken by a great power that they are personally familiar with. Can this world survive the strongest Dragon Emperors in all of history? Only if they are very careful and quiet. That means you Vali!
Kamen Riders Issei: DxD/Kamen Rider- A series of One-Shots featuring Issei Hyoudou as different Kamen Riders.
A Perverted Trainer: Pokemon/DxD- Issei Hyoudou might be the biggest pervert ever, but there's no denying he's a great Trainer. Watch as he journeys across all the regions finding Pokemon, rivals, and hopefully lovers!
Arc's Poke-Legacy: RWBY/Pokemon- While Grimm are a threat, the Pokemon that inhabit the world are seen as friends of mankind. Together they fight to keep the Light alive. However, the name of the Arc family is tainted by the acts of one of their ancestors, yet all of them wear the name and emblem with pride, including Jaune.
Cursed Hunger: RWBY/Toriko- The Arc family is cursed. Their strength and bravery comes at a price, they must regularly eat Grimm. Join one Jaune Arc as he enrolls at Beacon not just to fight, but to pick up new ways to satisfy his hunger.
Gourment Huntsman: RWBY/Toriko- The world of Remnant is in the middle of a Gourmet Age, where everything is edible or can be cooked. Meaning that Hunstman fight more than just Grimm. So welcome to Beacon where you learn more than just fighting monsters.
Kin of Asmodeus: DxD- 75% Smut 25% Plot Now for the Special item! Who here remembers an old One-Shot of mine called…Descendant of Asmodeus! Well guess what, it's time for a full-blown story! Guaranteed lemon in almost every chapter!
Fairies meet the Oppai Dragon: DxD/Fairy Tail- When Acnologia first attacked, Tenrou Island did not simply disappear, but ended up in the Dimensional Gap. If it hadn't been for a certain pervert riding on the back of a gigantic red dragon, they would have taken 7 years to wake up back home. How does this one meeting change the fate of our Mages, who which ones will fall for the Harem King's charm!
Dragons Cross into the Other World: DxD/Gate- Of all the worlds to invade, not only did Falmart invade the one full of beings beyond comprehension, but they chose the one day where a certain young man was spending time with his parents. The empire has brought upon the wrath of true Emperors, and their Gods might not save them.
As for the Christmas Special we have:
Issei and the Sexy Clause-After learning that Santa is real and that he never visited his home, Issei writes a very wordy letter to the North Pole protesting this unfairness. However, the one to read it is not the jolly man with a slight, but a certain horny mother and daughter. Will have my own OC Mrs. Clause and a Daughter Clause!
Issei's Christmas service-As a High Class devil, Issei has put out a special offer. For women who don't want to be alone on Issei will personally warm your bed. Patrons will suggest to me characters or OC's and I will decided from them which ones I like then put them on another poll.
Special Hyoudou Household Celebration-It is the first Christmas after finally marrying Rias, and this one is going to be special indeed.
Finally, check my profile for another poll. I am re-asking the question about what Raynare and Kalawarner should do with their free time.
