Englehorn will be subjected to a serum that increases both his physical and intellectual abilities, supervised by Randa.

Bill Randa: "We will give you a very low dose, on the condition that you are alert and disciplined, at the first side effect you will be removed from the team to recover from it."

After these warnings, Englehorn accepts, so Randa orders them to continue. There will be two separate infusions, one between muscle and one in the spinal cord. Englehorn is injected in the neck and then...in the spine, obviously causing him severe pain. Randa hopes she won't regret this.

In Pennsylvania...

Ann helps Driscoll keep a low profile, Driscoll makes sure they are alone.

Ann Darrow: "Are you okay?"

Jack Driscoll: "For now, yes."

They reach the outskirts of the university, they stop for a moment.

Ann Darrow: "Wait."

Ann helps Driscoll fix his clothes.

Ann Darrow: "It's better now."

Jack Driscoll: "Thank you":

Then Ann takes off his hat and combs Driscoll's hair, they both laugh...then Driscoll notices something...soldiers!

Jack Driscoll: "They're already here."

Ann Darrow: "Jack!"

Jack Driscoll: "Ann, get away from me, soon...as far as you can, and don't argue with me."

Driscoll starts running, military trucks appear, soldiers.

Bill Randa: "Send snipers."

Englehorn directs the soldiers on the ground.

Captain Englehorn: "He's heading to school!"

It's faster now, too.

Bill Randa: "Englehorn, not yet."

Englehorn is forced to slow down.

Captain Englehorn: "It's going to get interesting."

Driscoll walks the school campus, soldiers hot on his heels. They go through the library, Driscoll takes advantage of this to take out the USB with the data, he doesn't want it to be taken away in any way, so...he swallows it!...Ann for her part tries to follow the military, so she sees a military combi in which he senses something. Driscoll keeps running, while outside Ann gets in the way of the military van, Randa notices and orders a stop.

Ann Darrow: "I know you're there!...Randa, please!"

Randa doesn't know what to do.

Vivienne Graham: "Sir?"

Ann resorts to calling him something else.

Ann Darrow: "Dad!"

Randa gets out of the van, Ann confronts him.

Ann Darrow: "Dad, don't do it."

But Randa is firm in his decision.

Bill Randa: "You don't get it, do you?...inside."

Before forcing her in.

Soldier: "There it is!"

Everyone turn around and see Driscoll in a small window bridge.

Bill Randa: "No shots, I repeat, no shots!"

The soldiers corner Driscoll, point his guns at him.

Soldier: "He is surrounded."

Bill Randa: "Fire two shells."

They throw two smoke grenades, hoping to put Driscoll to sleep...it covers his nose, but it won't last long. Ann decides to run to him.

Bill Randa: "Bring her in."

Some soldiers go after Ann, she manages to knock one out but another catches her, Driscoll resigns himself to seeing what happens through the windows, he sees how they treat Ann, that makes him furious...the smoke covers everything and Driscoll falls to the ground, nothing is seen anymore.
