"Strike me down with all of your hatred!" Sidious cackled
Anakin aimed his piercing glaze towards the dark lord. His blade aimed at the Siths' neck.
Sidious didn't loom afraid. He glared back at the child in astonishment.
"Become my apprentice again. You can become the most powerful force wielder ever. You won't have that suit or the Jedi to hold you back."
"NEVER" Anakin shouted in with a fury, "You took EVERYTHING from me. You tricked me into thinking i could become powerful to save the ones I love, but they all died because of YOU"
"Oh but that is where you're wrong. " Sidious cackled, "I didn't take everything from you. It was the Jedi. They failed to save your mother, they didn't give you access to the restricted section in the temple. They failed your padawan. I offered a solution."
"How do you know all that?" Anakin questioned
"Once i was in your mind i could see everything. Not only the memory of you killing me. I saw the council oppress you. They stopped you saving your dear mother. Why would the Jedi do that you may ask...? It was to control you. They knew how powerful you could become and wanted to use you. They didn't care about your emotions or feelings, they cared about your power. The chosen one. They held no real respect for you even Kenobi saw you as just an asset to be trained to fulfill the councils agenda" Sidious reasoned
"You weren't any better. You used me to wipe out the Jedi" Anakin spluttered
"Exactly my boy. It is the nature of the sith to use their assets, but if the Jedi are no better then what does that make them. The jedi are no different from the sith. The sith use their power to attain their goals whereas the jedi stumble around a pointless bureaucracy and get nothing done. And when they do finally want something done they just exploit their assets. If you want to eradicate slavery then remaining a member of that order will serve you no good."
Siren sounds
"The Jedi have arrived. It would seem Dooku or Maul have betrayed me. Now you must make a choice. Will you go back to the Order and their outdated ways or will you return to my side as equals. I will no longer use you to ascertain my goals. I can help you reach your desires. Be it ending slavery, restoring order to the galaxy or ending the senates corruption. With our combined stength anything can be achieved." Sidious spoke
Anakin deactivated his lightsaber. "You're right. the Jedi are fallen. But you are no better. Im going my own way to bring peace to the galaxy. And if either you or the Jedi attempt to stop me I will not hesitate to fight back.
"I respect your choice. If you ever change your mind there will always be a place at my side." Sidious replied
Anakin left the compound and saw multiple jedi starfighters approaching. In a matter of seconds all the jedi ejected from their ships and ignited their blades whilst falling to the ground. (the astromechs landed the ships)
Obi wan, Yoda, Windu and plo koon landed close to anakin and rushed towards him.
"Where is Maul?" Kenobi asked
"In their" Anakin said whilst pointing to the compound. He knew Sidious would have escaped by now and maul with him. The Jedi rushed into the compound and then Anakin stole one of the Jedis starfighters whilst they were inside the building.
The Jedi quickly realised The sith weren't there and they left the compound to see the sith shuttle leaving the system. They also saw once of the Jedi starfighters leaving the atmosphere as well.
"ANAKIN" Kenobi shouted in vain.
Anakin activated his commlink and made contact with Dooku. Dooku wasn't with Sidious and Maul, and he suspected Sidious knew that he had betrayed him.
"Dooku" Anakin expressed
"Skywalker" Dooku replied
"I appreciate your assistance. However, I'm not going back to the Jedi. The Jedi are no better than the Sith, and you already know this. I think we should work together. We both want the same things, and together we may be able to achieve those goals." Anakin asked
"Well, I guess neither the Jedi or Sidious will want me now so i don't see why not. Meet me at my palace on Serenno and we can discuss." Dooku responded
Anakin nodded and deactivated the comm and set course for Serenno.
Sidious POV
"Why did you let skywalker leave?" Maul asked
'He is of no immediate threat, and he could in fact cause some disruption to the Jedi. In time he will be forced to join us or die, but that time is not yet. However, for now I want you to begin taking over command of the separatist alliance. We are going to have to move faster than planned. With Dooku awol and likely conspiring with Skywalker we need to start the clone wars earlier to reduce the chance dooku and skywalker could interfere with my plans." Sidious commanded
"Why don't we just kill Skywalker and Dooku then?" Maul questioned
'As I said, Skywalker could be a promising asset and future ally, but he is not ready yet. Once he is ready I will make further moves to recruit him so i don't want him dead. As for Dooku, If we have dooku killed Skywalker will know we orchestrated it and will hunt us down with a vengeance. Skywalker is more powerful than I ever previously imagined, so I don't want to make an enemy of him" Sidious reasoned
'Very well my master" Maul replied
