Already in New York...

Ann and Driscoll see a map of the city.

Ann Darrow: "Wow, that's a long way, but we'd get there quicker on the subway."

Jack Driscoll: "Me on a subway?...in one of the most aggressive cities in the world?...hey, I don't know." sarcastic tone.

Ann Darrow: "It's true, better by taxi."

But it turned out worse, since the taxi driver seems to have taken all the drugs in the world because his driving is unnecessarily reckless (I don't know if he is in a hurry to lose his driver's license or his life).

Driver: "Yes, the adrenaline!"

So much so that Driscoll begins to get upset and his watch speeds up, forcing them both to get out of the taxi.

Ann Darrow: "Are you insane?... You are a danger to society!"

Driver: "What's up little girl?... don't you like strong emotions?".

The driver blows him a kiss, further enraging Ann, who kicks his car, the taxi driver going.

Ann Darrow: "Idiot!".

Driscoll is surprised to see Ann so upset.

Jack Driscoll: "I've read about very effective anger management techniques...".

Ann Darrow: "Don't talk, let's just walk."

Jack Driscoll: "Okay."

After a while walking, they arrive at the place where they would see Serizawa, New York University. Ann finds Serizawa.

Ann Darrow: "Excuse me, Dr. Serizawa."

Ishiro Serizawa: "Yes?"

Ann Darrow: "Sorry to bother you, my name is Ann Darrow."

Serizawa is known by that name.

Ishiro Serizawa: "Of course!...Dr. Darrow."

Ann Darrow: "There is someone you should meet."

Ishiro Serizawa: "Yes, of course."

Driscoll introduces himself.

Jack Driscoll: "Mr. Reptile?"

Serizawa is surprised, he understands who he is.

Ishiro Serizawa: "Mr. Monkey?".

Serizawa takes the two to his lab.

Ishiro Serizawa: "Honestly, I didn't know if you were real, of course, if you were...what would a person with such strength be like?...inside him, nothing would have shocked me more than that supposed man giving me hand".

Driscoll and Ann understand his emotion.

Ishiro Serizawa: "But this isn't like taking a walk in the park, assuming everything goes perfectly, if I give him the exact dose, will it be a lasting cure or just an antidote that holds back the attack?"

It's a coin toss.

Ishiro Serizawa: "It's a mystery. What I'm trying to say is that if we exceed only a small dose, we are dealing with concentrations with extraordinary toxic levels, and...".

Ann Darrow: "Could they kill him?"

Ishiro Serizawa: "Kill him?...yes, it must be said."

Jack Driscoll: "There is a counterpart in this matter."

Serizawa pays attention.

Jack Driscoll: "If the concentration you induce on me were to fail you, it would be very dangerous for you."

Serizawa laughs.

Ishiro Serizawa: "You know, I prefer to be more curious than cautious, so far it has worked for me, so... I ask you, do you want to do it?".
