The next chapter is the last one.


Carmen and Randy spent the next few months continuing to prepare for the baby. They were in bed asleep. Carmen woke up when she felt her water break.

"Randy." She said.

"What?" He said tiredly.

"It's time, she's coming."

Randy quickly got up. "Ok, let's go." She got up. He got the bag they preparing

"Ow, ow, ow!" She yelled.

"Contraction?"

"Yeah."

"Remember to breathe."

After seventeen grueling hours Carmen was finally in the final stages.

"Randy, I'm tired." She said exhausted.

"I know baby but it won't be long now."

"One more push." The doctor said. She pushed, heard crying and passed out.

Carmen woke up in her hospital room three hours later.

"Hey." Randy said. She looked over and Randy was sitting in a chair holding Traci. He stood up and handed Traci to her. Traci had a little bit of brown hair and Randy's eyes. She squeezed Carmen's pointer finger tight.

"Randy, look at her." She said tearfully. "She's so beautiful."

"She is." "She looks just like you."

"I think she looks like you." "Can you believe me made something so precious?"

"No." "She's great." "I love you."

"I love you too." They kissed.
