Princess of Death
Chapter 8
Halloween problems part 1
October 31st 1991
The past few weeks had been a nightmare for the Headmaster, with Haralda at the castle he had no control over the school Mr Weasley alone had cost Gryffindor House over 250 points due to his bad behaviour and sheer laziness, the infamous howlers from Molly Weasley were amusing to the students.
However young Mr Weasley seemed to Blame everyone but himself and tried to take it out on Haralda, only for the lady of the castle as the infamous Weasley twins called her just ignored him only for the boy to wake up screaming that night in the dormitory saying there were spiders everywhere.
It took 2 weeks for Ron to stop trying to argue with Haralda and turn to the young miss granger however neither he nor the other staff did much, it would be something he would come to regret very soon.
Albus however realised that many of his staff enjoyed the new way the school was run, Professor Flitwick could do nothing but sing her praises every spell she tried she got it the first time and her essays were very well done, "she is just like her Mother, and absolute prodigy." He had told his fellow staff members during one of there weekly meetings.
Haralda left the castle that morning when asked by Albus why she didn't want to celebrate her response shut him up. "I find eating candy and cakes on the day my Father was killed to be insulting to his memory, so I will be at Potter Castle to properly honour his sacrifice."
Halloween Night
Hogwarts Great Hall
Albus sat in his chair as the students enjoyed their dinner nothing could possibly go wrong, just as he thought that however the Great halls doors burst open allowing the defence Professor to run into the hall. "TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!" Seeing the Professor fake a faint was more than enough for the students to break into full panic.
Standing from his chair placing his voice echoed across the hall. "SILENCE!, everyone please does not panic prefects please lead your students back to the dormitory's, teachers will follow me to the dungeons."
The students won't have to worry about heading to the dormitories as the doors to the great hall slammed themselves closed, in fact, every entrance to lead out of the castle sealed itself somehow I've got to put itself into lockdown from outside the great Hall you could hear the sounds of steel boots marching on the stone floor.
Unknown to them Haralda had felt the perimeter wards go off indicating something large had entered the grounds, however, she had thought it was Hagrid's half brother grubby she could not be fully sure as the perimeter wards were not fully restored to there original settings.
That was a massive annoyance for her as Grinngotts would need 6 weeks to restore the wards she had sent word to the ministry requesting that a temporary school could be established so the wards could be rebuilt, they had refused just as she and Hela had predicted.
So, when the castle itself informed her it was a mountain troll, she ordered the castle into lockdown and the many suits of armour that were in the castle came to life and marched to face the beast, at the same time the heads of house did roll-call and discovered Miss Hermione Granger was not in the hall.
"Does anyone know where miss Granger is?" Professor McGonagall asked the great hall only to be met with whispers and a few students giving glares at the youngest Weasley, it was shockingly Daphne Greengrass who stood up.
"Well as the Lions seem to be keeping closed ranks on this, I will explain Professor, Weasley was angry at Granger trying to help him in Charms and made fun of her after class she's in the girl's bathroom on the first floor."
Just then visual charms appeared on the wall on both sides of the doorway of the great hall sowing the mountain troll attempting to break into the first-floor girls bathroom until it saw something more interesting, a large number of silver men (knights) and a girl dressed in the armour of Asgard.
"It's lady Hogwarts." Was the awed yells from many of the students shocking Albus and many other staff as they watched the Girl-who-lived stand with an army at her back against the armoured Mountain Troll.
Blood-guts was not the brightest of his clan but he knew enough to recognise an Asgardian, now normally a member of his clan would back away especially when the Asgardian magic that radiated off of her had the essence of Helheim, Blood-guts was not a smart clan member and roared at the Asgardian Princess.
Unknown to her Heimdall had seen what was happening and warned his King while Hela could feel her daughters worry, she was ready to move to leave the castle entrance only to stop at the sight of 3 people she didn't need to see right now the Norns.
Telling her it was time for the fate of the princess was already woven she could not intervene in this battle, but she could intervene in the white-beards plans that included what he was hiding in the castle.
The Goddess of Death made her way to the castle she could only hope her little girl was alright, at that moment however Haralda watched in sheer shock as the first wave of her Knights were battered by the troll's club.
Taking a breath, she drew her battle staff looking at the creature her green eyes returned to there true white colour. "Come Troll be my first Kill; they will sing songs of your fall by my hands in Asgard."
Charging forward Haralda was forced to drop to the floor as Blood-Guts swung his club in hopes of smashing her into the wall, quickly recovering her staff's blade found its mark in the troll's leg causing him to bellow in rage and pain while using his injured leg he kicked her into the bathroom door knocking the wind out of her.
Very few things on Midgard were capable of going toe to toe with an Asgardian even one who was 11 years old, a blood-crazed mountain troll was one of those few exceptions as she tried to get up, she heard banging on the door. "Hello, what's going on please help I cannot get out."
"I will be right with you the school is in lockdown." Haralda tried to explain only to drop has the Troll roared swinging his club once again trying to crush her into a wall, seeing her battle staff still stu&k in his leg she made a run grabbing hold of her Weapon and puisne hard as she ran past his leg causing even more damage and pain.
And that anger caused whatever sense Blood-guts had left to complete vanish swinging his club left and right damaged and destroying pillars and parts of the wall, Haralda managed to avoid 5 out of the 6 attacks only to be knocked to the ground by scattering stone debris from a pillar.
People in the great hall watched in shock as the troll seems to roar in victory as it prepared to crush their saviour into a paste and all they could do or was there? Many of the students could have sworn they had been told that the headmaster still had control over the wards even if Lady Haralda was there.
Haralda felt the world around her seem to slow down, she could still see some of the remaining Knights blocking the pathways he would never escape from here, and neither would she.
Her mind flashed to images of Asgard, her mother and grandparents, her uncles smiling at her it made something inside her snap, opening her hand it summoned her battle staff to her the sheer power she felt she unleashed in the form of a lightning strike.
Blood-Guts was blasted away into the far wall near the girl's bathroom, when he looked up, he saw the Asgardian rise up black smoke covering her only to vanish leaving her in armour similar to that of Lady Sif but unlike the Goddess of War, Haralda's armour was black steel with dark green cloths underneath covered by a black Hooded cap.
Her white eyes shining with the promise of Death as she smiled at the now fearful Troll. "You have had your fun beats, now time to send you to Helheim as nothing but ash!". With a wave of her left hand, she sent a pair of Necroswords flying into Blood-guts stomach causing him to fall to the ground in great pain.
Then it all went quiet even the Shiny men stopped moving except for a single set of footsteps, the footsteps of the Asgardian holding her Weapon ready to strike him from this world. "You fought well beast, but Helheim awaits." The last thing he ever saw was a flash of steel and struggling to breathe before everything went black.
Hermione Granger was escorted by some of the Knights to the Great-hall where the staff waited for the doors too open, had they known what was standing on the other side they expected to see the missing student what they got was Hela the Goddess of Death and she was pissed.
"Care to explain this Albus Dumbledore before I rip your throat out." In her left hand the Philosophers Stone her right was a Necrosword.
