Princess of Death
Chapter 9
Halloween problems part 2/ pissed Momma Death
The Hogwarts staff, well those who had no idea who she was drew their wands only to be sent flying backwards onto the floor scaring the hell out of everyone. "Who are you how do you have the stone!" Came the un stuttering voice of Professor Quirrell to everyone's shock this was the second time he had done this tonight.
Hela turned to look at the man whose wand was drawn at her with complete disinterest. "From you I want nothing, but that abomination on the back of your head I want vengeance so how about you stop hiding Tom, or do you prefer your fake name Voldemort." With a wave of her hand, Quirrell was sent flying back his turban burnt to dust revealing the disfigured face of Lord Voldemort.
"Tom! Albus called in shock turning towards the downed Defence Professor attempting to act as if he didn't know a teacher was possessed by the most feared Dark Lord in Europe since Grindelwald only to hear the dark woman laugh.
"Oh, Albus how you have changed, here you stand before me with no clue as to who I am and you attempted to convince everyone you had no idea this man was possessed when the wards warned you the second, he came for his interview."
Albus looked to see many of the staff and students who were not cowering look at him oddly he had to fix this. "You try to drag me through the mud stranger, yet if the wards warned me then why did they not ward Young Haralda the second she stepped foot in this castle."
"That question is obvious Albus that specific ward is disabled in most of the castle it's only active in your office, came the voice of Haralda as she walked into the Hall, battle staff in hand and drained blood on her face. "And don't try to lie that you had no idea that a specific ward has been dismantled exactly 2 months after you became Headmaster."
"ENOUGH OF THIS!" Voldemort yelled from the back of Quirrell's head apparently angry that he was being ignored. "I AM THE GREATEST DARK LORD OF ALL TIME; I WILL NOT BE AGHHHH!" To the shock and horror of everyone in the Great, Hall Hela killed the possessed Professor, only to watch in shock as a cloud of smoke arose from the body taking the form of Voldemort.
He said nothing but roared in anger before charging at Hela only to be banished with little effort, Haralda smiled at her mother showing off but she noticed a frown on her mother's face she would have to ask her later as it seemed Albus had got over his shock as he turned his wand back on Hela.
"Drop your weapon now! Miniver Call the Ministry."
"Professor McGonagall, you will do no such thing as Lady of the Castle I authorised his execution." Haralda declared to the shock of the Headmaster, why was she defending this woman.
Hela however was not in a good mood this old fool had allowed Voldemort into the castle and hid the Philosophers Stone within the same Castle even having Quirrell place one of the pathetic traps between her and the stone, traps mind you that any First-year could get past.
"Oh Albus, I am not even finished with you yet, you had the Gaul to allow a teacher possessed by the spirit of Voldemort, you also hide the Philosophers Stone within the school without telling the Lady of the Castle who is your Employer." Hela mocked as she saw his Grandfather persona crack slightly.
That's when it finally hit but it didn't hit Albus it hit Professor McGonagall. "Lily Potter is that you?" Albus went wide-eyed when Hela turned and smiled her strange White Eyes turned Green. "Hello Professor it's been many years since I went by that name but yes for the time, I was banished to Midgard I was known as Lily Evans the as Lily Potter."
She smiled at the faces of those who guessed who she really was and finally it seemed to turn something on in Dumbledore's brain. "Yes, as many of you have guessed I was born Hela Odinsdottir, Queen of Helheim and Niflheim, Princess of Asgard also known as the Goddess of Death."
Albus Dumbledore's mind was running a mile a second, Lily Potter was Hela, the Goddess of Death herself that meant her Daughter the girl who lived was at the very least a Demigoddess in terms of power.
What he didn't realise was Hela could tell what he was thinking it made her laugh. "Oh, Albus I know exactly what you are planning on doing and it's not going to work, you think you can get us or more specifically me aid you in your greater good your problem is I have never been good at following orders."
Before the Headmaster could say a word that they would have no choice, after all as they were of Asgard it meant they were not human something the Pureblood's would use to break any oaths they had made to House Potter, that all went away when the Great hall was blinded by a flash of white light.
In that second Albus realised that it had been a large memory charm that wiped the memory of what he believed was the entire Great Hall except him and the two Asgardians who now smiled at him their eyes once again white, once again Albus felt fear as Haralda spoke to him.
"This could count and a betrayal of the oath you took Headmaster, but worry not I don't plan to call it in like I would for the Malfoys or Weasleys, no what I plan to do to you is far worse you see I am going to ruin you. His eyes widened making Haralda laugh. "you see that's what you truly crave isn't it what all you Midgardians crave; you crave power and attention your defeat of the last Dark Lord earned you a great deal of it well let's see how you like this attention."
With that, she clicked her fingers the Headmasters vision was temporarily blinded by a large flash of light, when his sight returned, he was sitting in his office surrounded by staff and the Minister of Magic all of who looked very angry at him.
"Albus have you not heard a single word I said." The minister roared his face pure red in anger at being ignored.
"I apologies Minister I." whatever he was going to say was cut off as the Minister slammed a letter down on the table with a simple (explain this letter now) look on his face, looking down his eyes went wide at its contents.
Minister Fudge
I write to you this evening to inform you of my intent to leave these shores for the foreseeable future due to the shocking events that happened not only in the last two hours but in the few weeks I have stayed at my Ancestor's school.
The Headmaster allowing a highly valuable magical artefact to be hidden in my school without my consent as well as very dangerous creatures to guard it kept behind a door with no magical wards just the simple lock that a first-year could open, he also failed to inform me that he had hired a teacher that was a known supporter of Voldemort who wanted to steal the artefact for some nefarious reason.
The said teacher then let a mountain troll in that nearly killed not only myself but a first-year student while he hid in the Great Hall despite as headmaster being able to leave the hall even if it's in lockdown.
As for the student, she is fine but she is worried that the headmaster ha refused to punish the student to bullied her so badly that she was on that floor in the first place, and finally the most insulting of them all he attempted to force the blame on me and my mother.
Sadly, due to the Founders law that states any member of staff who has a life contract cannot be fired from their position and Albus Dumbledore is the last of those members of staff, as such I shall be leaving to one of my family's estates in another nation.
Yours sincerely
Lady Haralda Helasdottir
Lady of Hogwarts (in self-exile)
Albus sat in shock as the Minister yelled at him for another 10 mins before leaving with the rest of the staff, the two had played their hand well and he had lost, his political sway would take one hell of a beating for this, many of the Purebloods who owed Haralda an Oath who sat on the board of governors would make his life hell.
After thinking to himself for a good few hours he stood to walk to his bed-chamber to rest only to collapse in agony from a huge burning pain on his chest ripping his robe open he saw a strange rune burn into his skin, it hurt so bad he didn't notice the room get colder or his Phoenix flash away in fear of the being who appeared.
"Oh, poor Albus, did you really think I was done with you so easily hahaha not by a longshot," Hela spoke in a mocking voice as she became visible to the squirming Headmaster. "No, I am afraid for you your suffering has just begun, you see that little rune now means you are marked by Death so whenever you finally die your next great adventure is to suffer in my Realm for eternity."
She leaned down her white eyes filled with anger. "You knew why my family was targeted and yet you protected snape for his crime, you cost me my Husband my Daughter her Father all for your little games. Well now you are in my game so enjoy your torment for the next few hours as that rune will give you shocks of pain whenever I feel like it should."
With that, she stood up and vanished her magic destroying the Headmasters office including the Devices that could be used to track her child when she was on Midgard.
You may wonder why she decided to wipe away the memories of the majority of the school of her confession to being a Goddess, its quite simple she knew that after the war the group known as Shield were keeping a closer eye on the Magical world the only place, they didn't have eyes or ears was Hogwarts. But you could be damned sure that any student who write home at least one of them had a close relative who was a shield agent and let's face it Hela was in no mood to deal with a group of Midgardians attempting to police the world she already had Thor's Ego to deal with.
Arriving back at Potter Castle she saw her little girl had packed and was waiting for her.
"Haralda why have you packed are you going somewhere?"
"yes, mom we are going back to Hel, so you can train me and so I can get to Asgard to get training there as well, when I fought that Troll, I realised how unprepared I was, I know you are going to say that I am young but it doesn't matter I will never fail like that again."
Hela could do nothing but nod her stubbornness was just like her fathers and hers, to be honest, they would go to Asgard first she knew Heimdall had alerted her father to his Granddaughters first taste of battle no doubt Thor would want a large celebration in honour of her first victory.
She had no idea how right she was.
