Battle of New York Part 2
The Portal was open and now Loki's army was flooding through and attacking New York City with only Ironman stopping them well attempting to hold them off until the rest of The Avengers turned up, now you may ask where was the young Princess of death?
Well, she was sitting at a restaurant about two blocks away from stark tower enjoying a lovely cup of tea while watching this portal open. She watched as the rest of the eve gets turned up and we're quickly shot down.
She completely ignored the people around her running for cover as a group of Chitauri came charging at her. 6 shots rang out turning those Chitauri into headless corpses on the ground an NYPD Captain that was taking cover nearby just looked at this well-dressed woman sipping a cup of tea with her right hand while her left held what looked like a customised .45 Handgun still held out towards the Alien corpse.
It was only when he got a good look at her face did, he recognise her as the Duchess of Inverness he didn't notice her move until she grabbed him. "Captain, GET THE CIVILIANS OUT OF HERE AND UNDERGROUND CONTACT YOUR FELLOW OFFICERS YOU WANT A RING OF STEEL GOING 12 BLOCS IN ALL DIRECTIONS!".
With that she had him escort as many people as she moved to the middle of the street allowing her Armour to form on her body, sliding her Handgun back into its holster she summoned her Battle staff to her open palm her green eyes returning to their white colour.
The air around her got visibly colder so cold in fact that people could see their own breath, with that she slammed her battle-staff into the ground releasing a small shockwave that stopped exactly 12 blocks away to the shock of the midgardians there a huge wall of ice began to grow slowly but surely towering even over the skyscrapers before eventually covering the entire area including the portal.
smiling to herself she began to make her way towards the Avengers with one thing on her mind, let's see how you react to this dear uncle.
The Avengers all gathered together looked around in shock as the massive Dome of Ice covered the battlefield, Tony being Tony made the opinion of the other avengers were thinking. "Umm Point Break? Is this your brothers doing?"
When four didn't immediately answer Natasha turned to look at him going to repeat the question only to pause and look at the now pale God of Thunder his eyes were wide with definite fear but something else that Natasha could just not place.
"Thor, what is it? Is this Loki's work silently activating her com so Fury could listen in, the answer she got was not what she was expecting him to say.
"This is not the work of my brother Lady Widow, there are only two people in existence who could create something, the first being my sister Hela the Goddess of Death and Queen of Helheim." That caused many of the Avengers and Director fury to pause why was the Goddess of Death getting involved.
"Umm, point Break you said two people who is the other one," Tony asked as he quickly fired a repulser blast at a hostile Thor however didn't get the chance to answer as someone appeared beside him.
"That other person would be me Mr stark allow me to introduce myself, I Am Haralda Helasdottir Princess of Asgard and crown Princess of Helheim also a Goddess of Death and Thunder but saying all those titles do get annoying so I usually just go with the Princess of Death."
The Hulk not liking this new person appearing out of nowhere let out a powerful roar at her only to stop when this new Asgardian started cooing at him and scratching his chin as if he was a puppy.
Haralda smiled at the giant green beast. "Aww uncle is this your new pet he is soo cute, yes you are." Stepping back Haralda turned to the gobsmacked Avengers her face still covered by her hood.
"Uncle, Loki is being controlled by the staff get it away from him and reset his Cognitive functions the rest of you that Shield will hold the Chitauri from spreading help evacuate the civilians and send these vermin to Helheim."
With that, she started to speak in a strange language unknown to the Midgardians but Thor knew this language he couldn't speak or truly understand it himself, however, he didn't need to know as the results made themselves known as large green portals appeared allowing the Draugr of Helheim to March out.
Turning to her men Haralda gave her orders in the language of the Dead. Warriors of Helheim! These vermin have invaded Midgard in an attempt to claim this realm for themselves! This will not happen Midgard belongs to me, go forth my Legions crush the foreign invaders and defend my Midgardian Subjects!"
With that she watched as hundreds of her Warriors charged into the fray, she gave a nod to the Mortal defenders and her uncle before she too charged into the battle before the rest of the Avengers could move Hulk made his opinion known. "Hulk, hulk confused." With that the Avengers charged Tony took to the sky giving Hawkeye a lift, Hulk did what he does best while Natasha and Cap were on ground patrol.
Loki watched in anger but a small amount of pride his blue eyes Turing slightly green as the God of Mischief was trying to fight the Sceptres hold on him. "BROTHER! END THIS NOW IT'S NOT TOO LATE!" Came the voice of Thor as he flew to the balcony placing Mjolnir on the ground walking up and grabbing Loki by his arms.
He could see the green in the out layers of his brother's eyes. "It's too late Brother I cannot stop it as he very reluctantly pulled a small blade ready to stab the God of Thunder what nether of them saw was Mjolnir being picked up the next thing Loki knew was a pain in the back of the head before his world went dark.
On the Helicarrier Director Fury was struggling not to smile at the panicked members of the World Council as they watched as this new Asgardian summoned an Undead Army to fight alongside the Avengers.
"Director Fury, who is this Alien." one of the councillors demanded worried about this powerful being who apparently had access to an army. "According to Agent Romanoff, she is the Granddaughter of Odin a Princess of Asgard and another world known as Helheim her mother is the Goddess of Death."
When the council demanded he launch a nuclear strike on Manhattan he couldn't believe the council could be that stupid…. okay maybe he could but at the present moment with two Asgardians the Avengers and the undead army they were holding their own.
So, when Agent Hill reported a rogue Bird on the Flight deck, he was pissed beyond measure he managed to shoot one down but one managed to launch he quickly sent word to Stark who rushed towards the Haralda asking if the shield would hold against a nuke.
"I cannot guarantee that Mr Stark however something tells me you know where to put that nuke," Tony said nothing he merely nodded before flying off towards the fighter carrying the Nuke, as he made his way towards the ice shield, he was shocked to see the ice split open for him sealing again just as he flew through the hole.
Haralda saw the Sceptre lying on the ground near a knocked-out Loki picking it up she felt the connection it still had over her uncle binding him to the Mad Titan now trying to connect to her know she was annoyed.
"You may have corrupted my uncle, but you will not have me or my mother you Purple scrotum chin Dipshit now piss off allowing her Death magic to flow it severed Any connection to her Loki or Thanos.
Seeing agent Romanoff, she tossed the sceptre to the agent. "Take that to the roof get ready to shut down the portal Stark has a nuke coming he's going to launch it into the portal."
Natasha got to the roof where Doctor Selvig told her that the Sceptre was indeed the key to shut down the portal getting into position just in time as Stark flew past with the nuke flying it up higher and higher until he and the nuke vanished.
Everyone watched in anticipation as they saw the explosion of the Nuke getting closer seeing no other choice Steve reluctantly gave the order to Natasha to close the portal, to their relief Tony fell out of the portal just as it closed.
"He's not slowing down," Thor said as he quickly grabbed Mjolnir from Haralda ready to fly towards Tony and grab him only for him to freeze in midair, turning around Haralda smiled as she saw her Uncle Loki his hand held out holding Tony in place. "You may want to grab him quickly." turns out they didn't need to worry about that as hulk came flying out of nowhere grabbing Tony before crashing into the roof of Stark tower.
Thankfully a roar from the hulk awoke Tony who started talking about Shawarma before their attention was turned to Loki, Hawkeye went to draw an arrow only to find a glowing green sword at his neck curtesy of a Draugr.
"While I understand you are annoyed about being possessed Archer aim a Weapon at my uncle again and I'll drag you to Helheim myself, don't forget my uncle was also possessed by the Sceptre speaking of which." Lifting her left hand Haralda summoned the Sceptre from Natasha's hand into her own. "Asgard will be taking possession of both the Tesseract and the Sceptre."
1 hour later
Stark penthouse
Director Fury was not a happy man the Asgardians were refusing to budge on taking the Sceptre and the Tesseract he had arrived with a few agents who had been given orders to collect the Sceptre to take it to a secure site.
Haralda looked at the group of agents reading their minds with only Loki knew what she was doing in a moment she struck knocking out the shield agents and the Avengers leaving only her uncles and Director Fury, who quickly drew his firearm only to have it fly out of his hand and into the open palm of a Loki.
"Tell me, director, how long have you been working For Hydra."
When the Avengers awoke, they saw Director Fury shaking hands with Thor. Before the 3 Asgardians walked through a portal to Helheim before he turned his attention to them. "Alright, you lot despite Loki being controlled I have been informed he will still face some sort of punishment on Asgard agents Romanoff and Barton follow me now."
When the other Avengers left Tony asked Jarvis if anything had happened to his surprise Jarvis told him that Princess Haralda had placed a sleeping charm on the Avengers designed to heal them faster, he wouldn't find out until later that Jarvis had in fact lied to him at the request of Haralda and his own need to protect Tony from that fact that Shield and many other organisations across the planet were infected by Hydra.
Later that Evening Fury spoke to the council who were beyond angry that not only did he let Loki go but also the sceptre and the Tesseract from their hands and into the hands of these Gods of Asgard. "Need I remind you that this Princess of death summoned an undead army to battle the aliens and could probably easily take the United States in less than a day should she wish it."
"What about the Magical community's we could get them to help us." One of the councillors said in an air of arrogance only to pale at the Director's comment not that you could see it as they seemed to enjoy keeping their faces in the dark.
"I have spoken to the president of MACUSA he informed us they are aware of this Princess of Helheim and do their very best to avoid her they fear her."
Asgard Throne Room
Loki stood there in shock at Odin and his niece, while he may have escaped charges from Asgard he should have been killed by the Jotun for his attempt at destroying their home, however, Haralda had secured peace by returning the Cask of Ancient Winters to them.
"My son to redeem yourself I place you in your brothers care and you will return to Midgard to Join the Avengers and aid them in protecting Midgard from threats to its security."
