CHAPTER 33-PIECES OF HISTORY

Sorry for a long update. I've been doing my college work as this was my last term and I'm glad to say that I have finally graduated! Hopefully this chapter will be a make-up because a lot of stuff goes down~~Reanna.

Jessica had been curled up on her bed, picking at her blanket. It was a room that she shared with Julia as the two girls were forced to share a room. Julia and Pope shared one previously, but Smurf made them split up the older they got. Instead, Baz stayed with Pope and would occasionally sneak into their room. Baz and Julia had been secretly hiding a playful relationship from Smurf for years as they were now in their early twenties. The others guessed that she knew but didn't say anything.

"You know Julia isn't going to be back for a while. She's probably out trying to score again" Jessica spoke, lifting her eyes to look at Baz. She assumed that he was there to talk to Julia as she was on one of her disappearing acts once again.

"I know, I came to see what you were doing. The guys are out surfing, and Smurf said she had some errands to do and was taking J with her. Thought I'd see if you wanted to hang or anything"

"You really want to hang out with a sixteen-year-old?" She asked back.

Sitting up slowly, Jessica hadn't taken her eyes off of him as he stepped over. Baz sat on the bed, in his usual attire while she didn't change out of her pajamas which were shorts and a tank top. The two of them had been bonding with Julia out of the picture. She had been spiraling back into drug addiction territory once more and the two of them were becoming distant. On top of it, she just had J who was taking up most of Smurf's time as well as Jessica's because she was always babysitting the second she got home. Jessica had found it easy to talk to him rather than Craig or Deran as they played everything off as a joke. Pope wasn't a talker and she wouldn't dare telling Smurf anything.

"Why not? We've been hanging out lately or is there something wrong?" He asked back, leaning against on the bed, propping himself on his elbow.

Truth be told, Jessica was starting to like him, and she was doing her best to push the feelings away. Not only was he occasionally seeing Julia, Baz was supposed to be her brother despite them never having that type of relationship. She shook her head no and took a deep breath.

"That guy still bothering you at school?" He asked watching her pick at the blanket for a second.

"No, Pope scared him off when he picked Deran and I up, remember?" Jessica reminded him as a kid from school had been bothering her. She didn't go into any details so none of them knew what it was about but that someone had been bothering her. "So…What do you want to do? I'm assuming the beach is off limits if you're not surfing"

Baz nodded for a moment looking back at her. "Whatever happened to that boyfriend you had? Trevor or whatever his name was"

"I broke up with him and his name was Trey" It had been a couple of weeks since she brought him around which made everyone wonder what happened. "He was better than me. He didn't need to be around any of us. I mean, his family is normal"

"He wasn't better than you Jess, don't ever think that. Just because he has a different life than us doesn't mean he's better than you. You're smart, you're cute and you know how to have fun. Don't waste your time on high school guys"

Jessica had blushed faintly before turning her head. She didn't want him to see it but of course he noticed it. She ran her hair through her blonde locks, her famous nervous habit before glancing back over. They locked eyes for a moment, and they seemed to be thinking the same thing.

She took it upon herself to do something she'd never do again or something that she would regret. Leaning forward on her knees, Jessica pressed her lips against his and despite Baz being caught off guard, he was going to accept it. After realizing what she did, Jessica pulled back quickly before covering her mouth with her hand. Her blue-grey eyes went wide not understanding why she did that.

"I'm sorry…I know you and Julia are like a thing and I shouldn't have"

Baz shook his head for a second before smiling her way. "It's okay, Julia and I haven't been together for a while since she had J and got back into drugs. Don't worry about it" He paused his thought wondering if he should say the next part or not. "No one is here, the boys are gone, and Smurf is out…"

Slowly moving her hand away, Jessica stared at him like a deer in headlights. She knew exactly what he was asking, and it was something that she didn't expect. She didn't know if he felt the same about her or even if he felt anything period. A couple issues were in between them and they both knew that. They were supposed to be siblings despite neither seeing each other as such, Baz was five years older than she and Jessica was still a virgin. Looking away from him quickly, Jessica wasn't even sure what to say.

Baz got the hint right away, sat up straight then decided to just leave her be. "Look, forget I said anything, I didn't mean to…I'm gonna just go. Why don't you go surfing with the guys or something?" He told her before making his way to the hallway but lingered on the way.

Jessica watched him reach the door and then she finally spoke. "No…It's cool…" She stopped for a second, feeling her heart practically jump out of her chest. "I've just never done this before so I don't really know what to do…" It was embarrassing to admit but Jessica wanted the truth to be told.

She looked to Baz to see if was surprised but his face was unreadable. He remained in the doorway before closing it slowly. The blonde waited for him to walk back over and after debating on what to do, he did. What was going to happen after that was life changing not only for them but for everyone else as well.

The night was miserable for Jessica as she had a rough night trying to sleep. So many thoughts were running through her mind that she couldn't tame any of them. As if Jessica didn't have enough on her plate dealing with a surprise pregnancy, she had Smurf on her mind too. She couldn't believe that she had been lying to her for years about everything she did. Jessica craved for the help yet it all was in her head.

She was doing her best to push all of that out of her mind and focus on the growing problem she had. Jessica wanted to talk to Baz, but she also wanted to give him a couple of days to figure things out because dropping that type of bombshell would startle anyone. As she pulled into her apartment parking lot, she didn't have to wait long considering a sliver Challenger was parked in her spot.

Swearing under her breath, Jessica pulled into an open spot and put it in park. Bracing herself for whatever was going to happen, she took a deep breath before jumping out of the sky-blue Jeep. Slamming the door shut, she moved to the trunk in order to pull a couple bags out.

"Hey…Need help with that?" Baz asked, crossing the parking lot.

"Hey, I didn't even see you here" It was an obvious lie, but Jessica was trying to break the ice. "Sure, I just got a couple grocery bags to take in" Grabbing two of them, Baz offered to take the other four as she led him inside of her apartment.

They placed them all down in the small kitchen before Jessica offered him to sit down. She began putting the things away as the silence they had was eating at both of them. "I came here to apologize for last night. I did a lot of thinking and I acted like an ass"

"You always act like an ass" She reminded him as a joke, but he still had a serious look on his face. Grabbing a box of cereal, Jessica turned back to the cabinets.

"This wasn't what I was expecting, and I know that neither one of us did. We should have been more careful but…" Baz stopped talking and rubbed the back of his head for a second. "It would be good for Lena to have a sibling and if you really want to make this work, I'm up for it"

Jessica had been putting a couple of things in the refrigerator but paused. It was unexpected when she heard what he said and, in all honesty,, she couldn't believe it. Baz always had a hard time admitting that he was wrong or that he would take responsibility for something, let alone a child. Jessica was convinced that she was going to have to do everything alone.

"Are you serious?" She questioned. "I'm not in the mood for you to regret this in like twenty minutes" Stepping out of the kitchen, her eyes were locked on him.

"Yes, I'm serious…I know things have been pretty rocky, but you and I are in this together right? We're together and if you want me to be there then I will. Here's our chance to be together without anyone getting in our way"

Feeling her nervous habit come out, she ruffled her blonde locks that were hanging before reaching for her bag like yesterday. She dug into it before pulling out a couple sheets of paper. "I went to the doctor this morning in order to figure this stuff out" Jessica handed him the papers then took a step back. "I'm two months along so this happened when I came back. I thought I missed my period, but I shrugged it off considering all that happened with Javi and all. It's the ultrasound, there isn't much to look at yet but everything else is fine"

Baz had taken them and scanned them over. It wasn't anything he hadn't seen before because he used to go with Catherine when she was pregnant with Lena. He took a second to look at her before flipping one of the pages. "You still didn't tell anyone right?"

Jessica shook her head no. "I also went to see Smurf last night after I left. I wanted to see her face when I told her everything you told me, but I couldn't bring up the baby. I wanted to say something but that family support I want wouldn't be there…It's just us that know"

Baz nodded his head and watched her shifty reaction. He could tell that she was bothered with the confrontation as she rubbed her arm and looked towards the ground. It was clear that the women weren't on the same page and that gave him another idea. He trusted Jessica enough, so he was going to bring her into the fold somewhat.

She blew a piece of hair out of her face before looking down at her stomach. "Luckily, I'm not showing yet so that's a plus but I'm gonna have to start wearing looser clothes" Jessica lifted the hem of her shirt so she could show him her stomach. A bump was starting to form but it wasn't enough to tell that she was pregnant. The thing that would get her caught would be that she was naturally thin, never gained weight so this would look suspicious.

Baz could easily see how worried she was about the whole thing, but he didn't blame her. It was one thing for him to own up to it but with the rest of the Cody's, it wasn't going to go well. Most of all, Smurf was the large problem and they both knew how good it would go. On top of it, a baby would never be accepted by her, especially if it were Baz and Jessica's.

He stood up from the couch and moved over to her. She dropped her shirt, looked him in the eye and spoke. "So…You're really cool with this?"

"Didn't I already say I was?" He asked back before wrapping his arms around her. "Everything will be fine, and we'll figure it out as time goes on. Right now, I want to show you something"

Jessica closed her eyes while breathing deep. It was a comforting feeling that she now had him to lean on and that was wasn't going to have to do it alone. She didn't want to be a single parent but in the Cody family, that was what she was going to have to do.

They agreed to keep things quiet for now until it became more obvious.

"What are we doing at a storage unit lot?" Jessica asked looking out the window and the new scenery. It had been her first time there.

"You'll see. Trust me I'm sure this will make you feel better about everything" Baz told her as she turned to look at him.

He parked out front and told her that they were going to have to walk to the unit. His car was out of sight from the cameras since he didn't want to change cars to make her have more questions. It was a short walk which only took about a minute or two until they reached the hallway. None had been open which meant no one was around much to Baz's relief. Jessica had been looking at everything, curious as why they were there. She had no idea what Baz was up to.

Baz stopped her once they reached the right unit and popped the lock open. He guided her inside of it but slamming the door behind him. Jessica paused until he turned the light on and noticed some money sitting on a safe. "You're not planning to kill me in here right? Dump me in the ocean and my body I'll magically wash ashore like Cath" She joked but he didn't answer her. "Seriously Baz, what is this?"

"It's ours" He simply said before pointing over to a table he set up on the other side of the unit. She walked forward slowly and peeked into the large black duffle bag. There had been four sitting there but once she saw what was in one, she knew it was the same in the rest.

"What do you mean this is ours? What is this jewelry from?" She questioned before digging through it carefully.

"This is all ours now that we're together. You and I have everything we need right in this room" He walked to the left side of the room and reached into a black safe. Baz was lucky that Lucy was able to lend him the tools in order to crack the dates open. Pulling out two stacks of money, he slammed it on top. "I got it from a friend"

Jessica turned to see him with a skeptical look reading across her face. It was a lot of money and her eyes flickered to the other safes there. "No one else knows about this?"

"J does but I made sure that he wasn't going to tell Smurf or any of the boys" Pulling out another wad of cash, Baz tossed it over to Jessica. "There's enough here to last for a while so we can do whatever we want with it"

Catching the money easily, she ran her fingers over the band. "Why are you telling me? I mean, how much is it?

"I haven't counted it all yet, but the money is over a million" Jessica's jaw nearly dropped and she snapped her head towards him. Her ocean eyes scanned the room again in shock. Baz smirked while watching her. "I trust you and I know that you wouldn't tell anyone either, especially Smurf. We're in this together now so it's yours too"

In all honesty, Jessica couldn't believe that Baz was willing to share the money with her. He had always been greedy when it came to money so he fact that he was trusting her with it meant a lot. At the same time, she still didn't know the details of it. Where did the money come from? From who? How did he get it? These thoughts ran through her mind, but they were also being washed away. It was a huge amount of money that both of them were holding in their hands.

Setting the money on top of the safe, Jessica leaned forward and kissed him deeply. It seemed like things were looking up for the best and she wanted to show Baz how much it meant to it. It wasn't just about the money; it was about everything that had been transpiring. Even though they never said it to each other, they had love that was unreal and almost dangerous. It was a game they had to play within the Cody family but with Baz and Smurf being on the outs, things were going to change.

Baz's phone had interrupted their moment as it had gone off in his pocket. Neither one of them wanted to pull away but they did eventually the second it stopped ringing. It had gone off once more except it was a text message and Baz turned his phone on to read it. Jessica rested her head on his shoulder in order to see who it was.

"The boys did the yacht job today, got a pretty good haul too" He pointed his phone her way to see the picture they sent of the black bags. "I guess their celebrating at Smurf's"

"Are we going?" She asked back, taking her eyes off of the phone.

"If you want to. I'm sure Smurf is expecting me to be there because I never told her that I didn't do the job. I've been occupied with this"

She nodded her head before helping him put the money back into the safe. Jessica also wanted to take once last walk around the room because she still couldn't believe what was happening. This was a first within the family, someone turning against Smurf and going their own way but only with her boys. Jessica and Julia could have been counted but they were obviously female, so it didn't matter. For Baz, it was his time to take Smurf down and grab the family by the reigns.

"You think she'll freak when she finds out?" Baz asked her, mostly as sarcasm because he knew that Smurf was going to throw a fit.

"You're the golden boy, actually no, J is so maybe she won't be too mad" She told him back, meaning it as the complete truth and by the look on his face, he knew too. "You're sitting on all this money, so I know you don't care what she's going to say"

When Baz and Jessica arrived at Smurf's, everyone was still at the house as expected. They assumed that she was holding a family gathering, just like any other job with an apple pie in the table. The main difference this time around was that Baz hasn't lifted a finger doing it. He never told Smurf that he didn't so it and wondered if the boys had said anything to her as well.

"Should I say anything?" Jessica asked him as they were walking through the front gate. "I know you said not to, but I feel like I should"

He glanced over at her. "Not a word about the money and definitely not a word about the baby" Baz reached out for her hand and wrapped it in his. The gesture had caught her off guard but brought a smile to her face. "She'll get on my ass for not doing the job so I'd rather she not know"

"And yet, you do this" She was referring to them holding hands. "Why are you being bold all of a sudden"

"Because I'm done playing these games with her. The jobs, the money and everything else that comes with it, including you. I'm not going to hide behind her anymore"

"You know, I like this newfound freedom you have, it makes you look sexy" Jessica joked with a wide smile on her lips. Baz shook his head with a laugh as he guided her through the front door.

The Cody family were gathered in the main sitting room, all sprawled out on different pieces of furniture. Smurf had been leaning on the couch to look through some of the jewelry that was still sitting in a black garbage bag. They had still been holding hands when they approached everyone, and this was not only a test for them but a test for everyone else.

All the boys and Smurf looked over when they stood in the hallway. It may have not been a big deal to others, but this was a first step in their relationship. It was going to piss Smurf off, but both were willing to push it as she was going to be angry as it was.

"Where were you? Weren't you supposed to be pulling this job with the boys?" She questioned lightly but there was still anger boiling underneath.

Baz didn't answer right away as Jessica broke off to sit near the fireplace. He looked at all of them as no one greeted them when they stepped in. "I wasn't doing it. I told Deran that I was out because it was too risky. This was their job, not mine"

The Matriarch looked to her youngest to get confirmation. Deran nodded twice and it was apparent that they didn't fill her in either. "So, you mean to tell me that the four of you pulled off this yacht job?"

"Well…" Craig spoke up before shifting a glance at Baz who was now taking a seat next to Jessica. "Nicky helped out a little and we got Lucy's brother Marco to help"

That piece of information made Smurf nearly snap. There was clearly something else that was bothering her because none of them had ever seen her get so worked up over a job. "Haven't I always said no outside help? You bring in a guy you barely know, get a woman's finger cut off and think everything went smoothly?"

"Wait what?" Jessica chimed in after hearing about the finger. That piqued her interest quickly and Baz was also surprised by the information.

Craig rubbed his head as Smurf sent her daughter a dirty look. She had no idea what it was for, so Jessica was going to remain quiet for the time being. "Marco cut off some woman's finger because she wouldn't give up her ring. Don't worry though, Smurf put it down the garbage disposal, so all of the evidence is gone" Pope told him clearly not caring.

"I'm sorry, you what? Why did you guys even trust Marco?"

"Because we needed someone who spoke Spanish, the whole boat was a wedding from Mexico or something. You clearly refused so we needed someone to translate and get it across to them that it was a robbery" Deran fired at Baz.

Even though Jessica was going to keep quiet, she noticed how Craig's face was bruised. "What happened to you?"

"I pistol whipped him and beat the shit out of him" Pope told her with a faint smirk appearing.

"You beat the shit out of Craig?" Baz asked him, trying to hide a laugh. Craig flipped all of them off before leaning back all the way on the sofa.

Everyone else had seemed to get entertainment out of the idea but smurf wasn't having it. With Craig being the biggest sibling, it was funny that Pope did the honors. They've all had their issues with him in the past, so it was a nice gesture through their eyes.

"I'm glad you all think this is funny. You almost screwed up a job by bringing in outside help. You put Nicky on coast guard watch and spill blood. Go ahead and think this all went without a hitch but it's your fault" Smurf stood up sharply and none of them knew who she was talking to.

"It was Craig's idea to bring Nicky in" J told her before looking through the group.

"And Baz backed out so what were we going to do? We needed someone Hispanic to communicate" Deran reminded her.

"Yeah, we still got the money so why does it matter?" Craig asked.

Smurf listened to them with the shake of her head. "None of you get it. Were supposed to be a family and that means all off us have a job to do. You should have been there to do your part" Her eyes went straight to Baz who sighed heavily. "It's your fault that it didn't go smoothly but instead, you were too busy fucking my daughter"

Almost all of the Cody's mouths popped open and locked eyes on the pair. Jessica's cheeks nearly turned red from her sentence that no one expected. Even though they all pretty much knew they were hooking up, it was still scandalous to hear. Neither Baz or Jessica looked at each other after her remark and Smurf ended up storming into the kitchen.

That left the rest of the Cody's to sit in an awkward silence while gazing at one another. Jessica sat there for a few seconds before jumping up, keeping her eyes locked towards the kitchen. Baz wanted to stop her from going in there because he knew that a fight was about to happen. He didn't make a move however as she was already next to the table.

"Are you serious?" Jessica asked her, Smurf had been putting the rest of the apple pie in the refrigerator when she heard her voice. "You're going to blame this on me?" Smurf didn't answer her daughter and concentrated on what she was doing. Jessica ignored the looks she had been receiving from her brothers, so she stepped forward and over to one of the stools. "Now I'm going to get the silent treatment?"

"You weren't part of the job so why are you here?" Smurf asked back, still acting as if she wasn't there.

"I'm a woman remember? I'm never part of a job. What's your problem? Ever since I came back, you've had an attitude with me. I apologized, didn't I? I said sorry for the way I acted but I really didn't need to, did I?"

"Why's that?"

"Because you're the one who shoved the pill bottle in my face" Jessica told her harshly, leaning on the countertop. "That's what you wanted, get me addicted to drugs again and then I'll be out of the picture once more. You know how much it means to me to stay sober"

Smurf slammed the silver door shut before turning around to face her. "Oh, I forced you? I didn't pour them down your throat, did I? I didn't tell you to do coke with your brother at the party and I didn't hand you the shots, did I? It was your fault that you fell back into your old ways"

Silence had filled the house once again as Jessica's emotions were now scattered all over the place. This was a conversation that she wanted to have with her Mother because Jessica knew her better than most. It wasn't her motherly instinct or her caring ability that took over her body. Smurf was up to something and even though Jessica could see it at the time, she didn't care as she wanted the pain to go away.

"And now it's my fault that the job didn't go exactly as you wanted it. Baz is a grown ass man; he makes his own decisions. Before you try it again, I was asked by Deran to be a part of it and I backed out too. You know why? I'm not going to rot in a jail cell because of you" She fired back again, wanting to scream in her face.

By the look on Smurf's face, it was clear that she didn't know they asked Jessica to help. She had more than likely been taking Nicky's spot if she would have done so. It gave the Cody sister a piece of satisfaction that she had something over her, that the boys were willing to trust her to do a job with them.

"So, this is all my problem now, is that what your trying to say? Let me tell you something Jessica, everything runs smoothly before you show up. You run off to rehab, have one of your brothers to pay for it and come back as if nothing ever happened. I'm the one who calls the shots with all of the jobs and what I say goes. You would have never done a job with them"

"Didn't you just ask me to do one and I did but what happened there? Oh, that's right, Deran turns into roadkill and we ride off into the sunset with no money. Who's fault was that because it sure as hell wasn't mine. I see what your problem is now, it's not about the job, is it?"

"Go ahead, take your best shot" Smurf told her sharply, ready for Jessica to argue something with her because she was up for the challenge.

Jessica scoffed slightly before talking. "You think that it's my fault that Baz didn't do the job because you're worried I'm ripping him away from you. It's always been like that. Julia, Cath, me, hell even Renn and Nicky. You are so worried about another woman that you don't even care about the two that are your own daughters. When Lena grows up, are you going to throw her away like you did to all of us? I'm sorry that you are so insecure that you can't handle it. Baz and I together whether you like it or not"

After hearing Lena get drug into the mix, Baz decided to step. All of them could hear how nasty the fight was but it wasn't anything new or surprising. Jessica had no shame of hiding her feeling from Smurf and would tell her off any chance she could. Besides that, he was already having bad blood with Smurf, so he didn't want to fight at the moment. He stepped into the dining room quietly, leaned forward to grab Jessica away but she only turned to look at him.

The elder flicked her eyes over to him but wasn't done with her. Smurf was never told off, especially by one of her children. Baz and Jessica locked eyes before he spoke, "Let's go before this gets any worse"

"Here comes Baz, always have to be the knight in shinning armor, don't you?" Smurf questioned as none of the other Cody's ever came to her rescue. "You think you've got it all figured out and yet you don't even tell him the truth" Jessica had no idea what she was talking about and focused his attention to Smurf. "You never told him about Dylan, did you?"

Her daughter's blue eyes widened as if she were a deer in headlights. It was now Smurf's turn to smirk because she already knew that Jessica never told him. It was much to her surprise that she even knew. Baz narrowed his eyes and looked between them for a second. "Who's Dylan?" He remembered the name when Javi mentioned it before.

Smurf waited for Jessica to say something, but her mouth had gone dry. It almost felt like the world had crumbled beneath her and that the world was going to end. It was a huge situation not only for her, but for Baz and the rest of the family. "He's just some blonde haired, blue eyed boy that I'm sure you love to know. Isn't that right Jessica? Is this too heavy for you?"

Jessica pulled her eyes away from her mother and took several steps back. She needed to get out of there and fast before Baz would stop her. "Will one of you tell me who Dylan is?" Baz asked again as no one fully answered him.

"Ask Jess, she knows" Smurf nodded her head towards her daughter who was already booking it to the front door.

"What in the hell were you two thinking?" Smurf shouted as Baz and Jessica were sitting side by side on a lounge chair. Both had their heads down, hands tucked in their laps as if they were dogs caught from tearing furniture up. "I leave for a couple of hours and come home to this? Dammit Baz, what did I tell you?"

Baz hadn't answered and refused to look at her. Neither one of them knew that she was going to come back earlier than expected, especially catching them while having sex. Jessica was more embarrassed than anything as he just didn't' want to get screamed at like a child. "Smurf…"

"Don't even say a word" She told him sharply then locked her eyes on her youngest daughter. "And you? I thought you knew better but I apparently have to keep drilling it into your head, he is supposed to be your brother!"

"But he isn't Julia's so why am I always getting treated different?" She asked back, daring to face her. She nearly grimaced at the anger on Smurf's face.

Before Smurf could even answer her, Julia had appeared from the patio door. All three of them turned to look at her and she was furious. Neither Baz or Jessica knew that Smurf called her and told her what had happened.

"I'm going to fucking kill you…" Julia's voice broke the silence and Jessica quickly jumped up from the lawn chair. She was walking in strides, her fists balled next to her sides.

"Did you tell her?" Baz asked, moving as well but waited until Julia got closer. She was practically foaming at the mouth and ready to attack her younger sister.

"J's been wanting to see you all day, why don't you take him to the park?" Smurf asked, ready for the scene to unfold. She had Pope find Julia and tell her that something happened at the house between Baz and Jessica. It was obvious what that meant so Smurf didn't have to do much talking.

Julia had been out doing drugs all morning, so it wasn't a good combination. Jessica was terrified of what was going to happen, so she backed up towards the pool. Julia was 8 years older than her, was built differently and was bigger. Jessica was a skinny, surfer girl who hardly had any muscle to her frame.

"I'm sorry, it wasn't supposed to happen" Jessica spit out and stopped moving when she reached the edge of the pool.

"Yeah it wasn't supposed to happen but it did so now I have to show you not to mess with me" Baz blocked her from trying to go after her and she shoved at him for him to move. "You slept with my boyfriend and you think an apology is going to work?"

"Julia stop, this isn't going to fix anything" Baz told her, trying to figure out a way to calm her down. Smurf was no help in the matter, so he had to do it on his own. "We're not even together so don't turn this into something it isn't" He had only said that because their Mother was right there.

Jessica shifted her eyes between everyone and thought it was best to go hide inside. As Julia was high, things weren't going to end well for everyone. "Don't you dare try to walk away from this" She told her, almost reading her mind.

"Go inside Jess, I'll handle it" He told her as she ignored Julia and made her way to the house. Baz turned to look at Smurf. "Why did you do this? You knew that this would happen"

Once Jessica got towards the glass door, Julia sprinted off and after her. Before she could get into the house, the brunette shoved her hard to the ground. Jessica had fallen through the open door and scraped her needs on the patio. Baz took off and grabbed Julia around her waist, giving Jessica enough time to crawl inside.

"Stop it! This is getting out of hand!" He yelled at her and Smurf moved quickly into the home to get between the two of them. Jessica grabbed the kitchen island to stand up and looked toward the blood that was running down her legs.

Craig, Deran and Pope were walking into the kitchen but stopped when they saw what was going on. "What happened?" Deran asked as Jessica moved over to the counter in order to grab some paper towels.

Julia was kicking and fighting Baz as hard as she could break free. She was the only one acting like wild animal as everyone else in the scenario was calm, at least on the outside. Smurf turned away in order to grab some band-aids from the bathroom and left all the siblings together.

"I'll tell you what happened. Jessica had sex with Baz!" The three boys had to process what she said out of shock and looked between them. "You heard me, she slept with him. Little miss virgin, the one who always thinks she perfect fucks my boyfriend!"

"I never said I was prefect, I'm just not a screw up like you are" Jessica told her back but focused on wiping the blood off her knees. Little did she know that things would change later down the road for her.

The oldest sister was able to get an arm free and elbowed Baz hard in the chest. That made him break the hold he had and Julia went running towards Jessica again. She ducked to the right, but Julia grabbed her by her hair. Jessica swung her fists out in order for her to let go but Julia was pulling as hard as she could. Craig and Pope ran forward in order to pry them apart, Julia had thrown Jessica into the counter that the sink was on and luckily Craig had been standing right there.

Julia went reaching for the glass that were sitting on the island and began throwing them at her, both Craig and Jessica ducking out of the way and watching them shatter above their heads. Smurf came running out from the older hallway and screamed for them to stop. Pope pulled Julia back as hard as she could so he could get her away from throwing anything else.

"Enough is enough! I want you out of my house!" She shouted over everyone as Pope was dragging Julia towards the patio door. Baz moved out of the way and Julia had no problem leaving. She stormed outside but stood there, still fuming. "You two are not welcome here again. Grab your things and get out"

Now all eyes were on Smurf as they listened to what she said. Julia said something under her breath about grabbing J and leaving. J was lying in his crib that Smurf set out in the living area and Deran went to grab him. Picking the boy up, he handed him over to Julia who now raced to get out of the back yard. Pope followed behind her to make sure she wasn't going to do something stupid.

After she disappeared, Smurf put her attention back on Jessica. "You too, go get your clothes and get out"

"You can't be serious Smurf" Craig said once he let go of his younger sister.

"I'm dead serious. I don't want any fighting going on in my house and I sure as hell don't want what I walked in on happen again"

Jessica had been staring at her, not even knowing what to say. "But…Where am I going to go? How am I going to get to school?" She looked over towards Baz to help her out. At least Julia was old enough to take care of herself.

Baz caught her glance and spoke up. "Come on Smurf, she's 16 and you're going to kick her out? This was my fault; I should be the one going" He was still living there as well.

"I've made my decision. Get your things and figure out a place to go. Call one of your friends, call Sabrina, I'm sure her parents will take you in their big, fancy house"

It was as if everyone could hear Jessica's heart stop the second, she was done talking. It was Baz's fault as much as it were Jessica's but there was a difference, he wasn't blood related. The thing she came to realize was that the boys mattered more than the girls. Even though she knew that for the most part, she didn't think it would be this bad.

Tossing the first aid kit on the island, Smurf walked away without another word. Jessica turned away from everyone a second later and head straight for her bedroom. Getting kicked out was one thing, but the new life changing event was still to come.
