A/N: Alright, so here's the deal, you guys. I stockpiled a handful of chapters all at once earlier last month. This chapter is the last of those chapters. That said, this may be the last chapter update for a while now. If I have the time to work on more, hopefully I'll be able to provide you guys with yet another update this coming Christmas Day. Otherwise, there's a good chance I won't be updating again until sometime in February. Sorry for the inconvenience, you guys, but I've had a lot on my plate lately and doubt I'll be getting much of a break between now and then. Like I said though, I'll try to get one more update out by Christmas. I'll still also continue to work on updating my newest role play over on my main account as well as typing up the next set of DIS chapters come January.
In the meantime however, please enjoy this chapter update. :
As always, thanks for all your support and have a safe and Merry Christmas this year~3

Staring at Dib confused when the hybrid pulled him back up onto the bed with him again, Zim tilted his head to one side slightly before sighing out heavily. "But…You need to eat something..." he protested, worried about the smeets now as he was almost certain Dib most likely hadn't eaten anything since the incident back up on the Massive.
"No...I don't...All I need is you..." Dib nuzzled his face into Zim's chest stubbornly, antennae falling back to rest comfortably against his head. "I'm sorry...for getting so upset and yelling at you...I'm just...I don't even know...Insane, I guess...How you put up with me is beyond me..." he sighed, opening his eyes back up after a moment. "Are you sure you want to marry someone with so many mental and emotional problems?" he then asked, a part of him still questioning the other's proposal despite everything they'd already been through.
Zim laughed a little and smiled down at Dib. "Of course I do." he said, sending the hybrid a large, toothy grin that almost came across as more of a joke than anything else.
Blinking his eyes up at the other as he tilted his head to one side slightly, Dib stared back at Zim somewhat blankly for a few moments. "You...really want to marry me?" he then shifted slightly so he could reach down one of his free hands to fish out the small box with the engagement ring in it out of his pocket, bringing it back up between the two of them once he had found it. "Wh-What...What made you want to marry me in the first place? I mean, where did you get the idea to ask me? You never spoke of marriage before. Frankly, I-I didn't even think you knew what it was." he said, flipping open the box to get another good look at the silver plated ring inside and passing his thumb over the small diamond nested in the middle.
"I wanted you to know how much I loved you…And I wanted everyone else to know it too. S-So I asked Jack what humans did to show their love..."
"So it was Jack's idea then." Dib spoke under his breath before smiling at the ring and taking it out of the safety of its box to place on one of his fingers so he could get a better idea of what it looked like on him. "You really didn't need to do this though...I already know how much you love me..." he then smiled up at Zim. "So...How were you planning on having us do this? I mean...Were you planning on having me carry the smeets down the aisle?" he rested a hand on his extended belly. "Or were you planning on having us wait until after they were already born? Because I honestly don't know which would be easier at this point: Trying to plan a wedding while planning for the smeets already or trying to plan a wedding while having to care for three newly-born, live smeets." he said, the thought of planning an entire wedding seeming exceedingly overwhelming given their current situation.
Zim smiled and nuzzled him. "Well...I'm not sure actually." he ghosted his fingers over Dib's belly, careful to avoid the scratches graven into his skin. "I wouldn't mind seeing you like this all dressed up." he snickered a little. "I love you so much..." he then said in a soft voice as he gazed lovingly into his mate's honey-colored eyes.
Just a little surprised Zim knew about the getting dressed up part, Dib blushed a light pink at Zim's words. Perhaps the other really had done his homework on it. "I-I...Y-You're going to make me wear a dress, aren't you?" he dropped his gaze back down to the bed covers, face heating up considerably. At least disguised as a female, it wouldn't look as awkward having two males getting married, especially one of whom was pregnant.
"Well, not if you don't want to...But I bet you'd look adorable wearing one." Zim grinned wide.
Staring back at the other, Dib's eyes fell half-lidded at Zim's smile. "...You'd just better have a good female disguise for me..." he gave in, closing his eyes and sighing, his cheeks a bright red now.
Zim giggled and nuzzled him at those words. "I will have the greatest disguise ever created for you." he assured the other, though Dib didn't seem all that convinced.
Looking rather unimpressed, Dib merely rolled his eyes. "I just hope it's better than your own disguise..." he commented, not wanting the disguise to come across as too obvious to anybody who saw him in it.
"Hey! My disguise is flawless!"
"Zim...Your skin is green. That's kind of a big give away. Jack and Rose figured out I was part Irken BECAUSE of that. You just got lucky that most of the people on this planet are stupid."
Zim shrugged. "It's not like anyone we don't already know is going to be there, except for the ceremony human, of course." he said, not really caring at this point about trying to hide his identity from anybody after the years of ignorance he'd come to know as regular human behavior.
"You just better have a good female disguise for me anyways. I'm not going shopping for a wedding dress that fits me without one. O-Or going to those pregnancy classes without one either. I just hope you're better at gender disguises than you are at species disguises."
Zim scoffed. "How could you possibly doubt the amazingness that is Zim?" he said all too smugly, confident he could disguise Dib well enough that even HE wouldn't recognize himself in a mirror.
"Ehhh..." Dib laughed somewhat nervously at Zim's enthusiasm, more than a little uncertain about Zim's ability to blend in with his surroundings.

It wasn't until a few days later that Rose sat in the living room with Zim, Dib, and Jack, tapping a single finger against one of her cheeks in contemplation as she rested an elbow in her other hand. "Well, Zim...I-I guess he kind of...sort of...maybe looks a little like a female..." she stood back, giving Dib a good look over as said hybrid reclined on the couch with a blanket, Gir sitting there in his disguise, placing bows all along the length of his antennas.
Dib had by this point just about given up on Zim creating him a good female disguise after a morning of failed attempts, his eye twitching in annoyance as he stared into the mirror Zim held up to him, his reflection nothing short of hideous thanks to the ungodly amount of make-up Zim had caked onto him in an attempt to make him appear just like some of the girls they went to school with on a normal basis. "Zim...There is absolutely no way in hell I'm going out like this..." he said with a sigh as he cringed at his own reflection.
"What?! Why not? I think it looks fantastic on you! You've turned down every single disguise I've put you in, Dib. There aren't too many more options I can come up with for this."
"That's because all you've done is play around with how many eye lashes I have or the amount of bows on my antennae! And don't even get me started on how you've tried to do my make up! Eye lashes and the shade of lipstick I'm wearing do not make a female!" he said, getting frustrated with the other now as he went to wipe his face off on a rag he'd been keeping close to him for just in case something like this were to occur during Zim's relentless experimentations.
"Umm...Zim? Are you sure you don't want me to help you with the disguise?"
"It does on Irk!" Zim snapped back before glancing at Rose and groaning. "Fine, Zim gives up!" he then threw his arms up in defeat before pouting moodily, a little insulted by Dib's harsh criticism of the disguise he'd spent all morning trying to put together for him.
"Well, we're not ON Irk, are we, Zim?!" Dib snapped back rather abruptly, having been feeling especially irritable today as a result of his hormones jumping off the walls, courtesy of his pregnancy. "We're supposed to be humans! Remember?" he said as though that hadn't been obvious from the start.
"Err...Come here, Dib." Rose pulled him up onto his feet to get a better look at him. "Why don't we focus a little less on his face for now and more on the rest of the disguise? He'll definitely need some more feminine clothes and..." she trailed off before running upstairs to grab something, returning a few minutes later with something that had Dib's eyes growing wide.
"Oh, hell no..."
"Come on, Dib." Rose said, holding up a lacy black and purple bra in plain sight for him to see. "You're pregnant. If we're going to make this believable, you'll have to wear one." she approached him to hold it up to his chest, trying to get an idea of how one would look on him.
Dib couldn't help but fidget about uncomfortably as she tried to get the right placement on him.
"Hold still, Dib. It's not one of mine. I promise." Rose reassured him before falling silent as she finally managed to place it just right on him. "...It's one of Stella's." she then added at the end, as though that weren't just as bad.
"WHAT?!" Dib instantly pulled away in horror, hugging his arms over his chest to keep her away.
Zim snickered a little at Dib's reaction. "Relax, Dib-love. I thought you wanted to be female?" he teased.
"Oh, come on now, Dib." Rose reached out to grab his wrist and pull him back towards her. "Stella's is going to the closest in size we can get for you. Anything else from any of the other females in this house will be too big on you." she replaced the bra back on him before moving around back to hook it into place as tightly as she could. "There. We can probably stuff it with tissues or bubble wrap to make it look more realistic. And with the pregnancy, the rest of your body structure already does look pretty feminine." she said, taking a step back to view him from the front more fully.
Rolling his eyes, Zim smiled a little at that remark. The chest pillows human females had were so ridiculous. Coming from a society in which all its females had no such thing, he couldn't quite make heads or tails of what their purpose even was, having come to the conclusion some years ago that they were nothing more than a characteristic most females on that planet developed in order to attract potential mates.
A/N: And there you have it for Chapter 167. Until next time~
