A/N: Bah! I meant to get one chapter posted yesterday and one chapter posted today but got lazy while working on the ficafying process for this story. As such, I'll post one chapter now before work and another chapter in the afternoon tomorrow after work. Either way, I estimate you guys should be looking forward to about another six updates after this chapter is posted before I go on to my next hiatus. Thanks for your patience in the meantime, you guys! Enjoy this quick update before I head off to work for the evening! :)

Not wanting to look away from the DELICIOUS CAKE on screen, Zim glanced at Dib slightly for just a moment before returning his gaze back to the television in question and responding to the hybrid's words. "They take after you too, Dib. You said your mom had a huge craving for sweets when she was pregnant." he reminded the other what he had told him back at the beginning of his pregnancy.
Dib merely let out a small whine at that. "But I didn't LIKE sweets after I was born. If anything, it only proves I took after my mom for craving them while pregnant. But I get the feeling these guys won't stop liking sweets after they're born. After all, they are related to YOU. And that's for the most part all you EVER eat." he argued back.
Zim's antennas drooped. "Well…It's not my fault..." he said guiltily before dropping his gaze away from the TV.
"Everything's your fault..." Dib hid his face in a cushion of the couch, causing Zim to pout.
Jack laughed a bit at Zim's reaction to that comment. "Get used to it, Zim. When they're pregnant, everything becomes your fault, whether it really is or not." he said, recalling Rose's earlier words to Dib about it a few weeks back.
Sighing, Zim pulled his knees to his chest. "I guess so..." he said despite it still hurting.
"Oh, Zim...Don't take it so personally." Rose reached out to rub his back with one of her hands. "You have to be willing to put up with the hormonal changes that come with a pregnancy. And don't take things so seriously. I say a lot of things to Jack that I don't really mean, and he knows when I don't mean them. You can't take everything Dib says so personally." she said in an attempt to get him to lighten up.
Nodding sadly at those words, Zim then glanced back at the screen as the two moved to share a piece of cake before smashing it into each others' faces, causing his antennas to perk up in surprise. "Why'd you do that?" he asked, pointing to the screen.
Rose laughed a bit at the question. "Oh, it's just something newlyweds have a tendency to do at their weddings. I'm not exactly sure what it symbolizes or where the tradition started, but for some reason, couples have been doing it for years at weddings. Jack and I just thought it would be fun to give a try at our own wedding. I imagine whoever started the tradition thought it might be cute, but I can't know for sure why it's done. It certainly did liven things up though." she laughed again.
Zim smiled a little himself. "Yeah, looks like it." he said, watching the video closely and taking note of everything he could for future reference.
"You and Dib might enjoy doing it at your own wedding. But if not, it's customary for the new couple to just feed each other the first piece of cake too. Of course, you can never tell what your partner is planning on doing. For all you know, Dib might smash it into your face right as he's about to feed it to you."
Zim snickered a bit at the thought. "I might just do the same." he smirked back at Rose.
"Perhaps so. A little bit of pay back never hurt anyone. You just have to be on your guard when the time comes to cut and pass out the cake though."
"Yeah. Rose told me before the ceremony started that she wasn't going to shove cake in my face. But I know her too well. I knew she couldn't pass up the opportunity to do it. So I shoved cake back in her face to get back at her." Jack laughed at the memory.
"Hmm…So it's like a battle of wits?"
"I guess you could put it that way." Rose glanced over at Dib. "It really all depends on how well you can read Dib and how well he can read you." she then smiled at the fast asleep hybrid on the couch next to her. "Looks like someone wore himself out..." she pet his head gently again.
Looking over at Dib, Zim smiled warmly at the curled up hybrid underneath the blanket. "I should take him back to the bedroom." he said, wanting Dib to be comfortable while he slept.
"Would you rather I carried him for you? We don't want you to strain yourself if you're still in pain from a few days ago. After all, it's only been a couple days since you showed back up here."
Giving that offer some thought for a moment, Zim then sighed and nodded his head in agreement, his body still rather sore and healing from everything that had happened back on his leaders' ship. "You're right...Can you take him up for me?" he looked over at Jack for help.
"Of course." Jack nodded before leaning down to carefully scoop Dib up, taking care not to wake him in the process. "Are you coming up with me then?" he then asked, not certain whether Zim would prefer to stay downstairs with Rose or not.
Standing up a bit shakily, Zim nodded before following him to the bedroom.
Entering the bedroom with Zim, Jack then made his way over to the bed to place Dib in it, tucking him into the covers as Zim crawled up next to him.
"Mmmm..." Dib turned over onto one of his sides, finding Zim's chest and nuzzling into it comfortably. "Zim..." he murmured contently once he had settled.
Cuddling up close to him, Zim smiled and kissed the top of his head happily.
Antennae twitching in response to one of the smeets kicking inside of him, causing quite a bit of movement beneath his skin, Dib sighed out contently in his sleep.
Squealing a little at the movement, Zim grinned even wider.
"Nyeeh..." Dib shifted slightly at the movement, letting out a small whine as he turned over onto his other side, taking possession of one of Zim's hands in the process to cuddle to himself.
Smiling at this, Zim kissed him lightly once more before lying down behind him.
Satisfied by the kiss, Dib smacked his lips together before bringing up the captive hand to pull into his mouth, suckling on Zim's fingers happily and finding the cool, smooth surface a comfort to him as he enjoyed the taste of the other's skin.
Gasping a little, Zim's eyes widened when he felt his fingers being pulled into the hybrid's mouth. "D-Dib..." he said in some surprise, considering whether or not he should pull his hand free from the other.
"Mmmm...Ice-cream..." Dib continued to run his tongue up and down the length of the digits in his mouth, finding enjoyment in having something to occupy his mouth with as he slept.
Zim shuddered and whined at the continued attention. "Diiiiiiiiib~Nnnn~" he bit his bottom lip.
"Ziiim..." Dib pulled the Irken's finger tips from his mouth to lap at the gingerly. "Mmm...So sweet..." he said between licks.
Doing his best not to get too aroused by this but failing miserably, Zim bit down on his lip even harder, panting a little now.
Blinking his eyes open slightly at the feel of something hard pressing up against his backside, Dib's antennae then perked slightly. "Hmm?" he blinked down at the hand he had partway in his mouth still.
His eyes squeezed tightly shut, Zim shuddered noticeably, nearly drawing blood from his lip at this point as he tried to keep himself together.
A/N: And there you have it for Chapter 170. Until next time~
