Jay was nervous, not that he had to confess something to Wu. He has done that a ton of times.
He was nervous about what Wu would say.
Is he gonna scold him for keeping this secret for like a month? Is he gonna reveal something again? Please not. Wonder who is with him? Hopefully not Kai or Lloyd. Probably not Zane too, he cannot keep a secret. At least not this big…
The sound of footsteps brought him back to reality.
When the door opened, it revealed 3 people. Well, more like two people and a ghost.
Jay mentally sighed, 'Eh, could be worse.'
Wu walked up to him, with Cole and Morro behind him.
"Is there something you're not telling us, Jay?" Wu sternly asked.
"W-well, er- how do I start this?" Jay stuttered. "A month ago, my powers sorta malfunctioned already. BUT, no one got hurt."
"Anything else?" Wu queried, looking straight into his eyes. "Because you were acting weird yesterday, luckily Cole managed to make 'return'."
"What? You made me sound like I was dead."
"More like possessed, Sparky," Morro butted in. "Cause, I'm pretty sure you were not Jay yesterday."
"Um, about that, there's kinda someone else in my head," Jay nervously answered.
"Who is?" Wu asked (again).
Jay didn't answer, since he can't find the words to say it. What was he gonna say?
'There is another me who claims to be my part-Oni side, which I think you knew already.'
Wu sighed. "Guess it's time for you to know."
Jay and Cole recognized that look. 'Oh no, not that look again.'
Morro, well, he's just curious as heck since it's his first time seeing Wu like this.
"I should've said this a long time ago…"
Annoyed sounds were then heard.
"He has already done this?" Morro asked.
"How do you think we found out your story, Airhead?" Cole said as he attempted to smack Morro's head but failed because he(Morro) became intangible.
"Okay okay, sheesh, Rocky," Morro replied, failing to hide a smirk from Cole's attempt.
Jay then cleared his throat, "Um, Sensei, is there something you need to tell us… again?"
"There is, but it must stay between the four of us," Wu told them just before handing Jay a file, named; Lightning #2.
"I'm afraid this is all we have," Wu started. "Her family took the original file after she disappeared."
Cole and Morro went to Jay's sides to look at it as well. (They totally did not fight about which side they'll be at)
Jay then opened the file, to see a woman with long, wavy, blonde hair.

Jay tilted his head. "Sensei, what's an Oni?"
"Little is known about them, all that my father told me is that they were shapeshifters and the first evil to come into existence. Although, not all of them are evil," Wu answered.
Jay looked at him, then back to the file.
"I knew it," Jay spoke up. "You knew that I was adopted ever since I came, am I right?"
Wu stayed silent, which didn't help at all.
"Get out of my room," Jay said obviously angry.
Wu obliged knowing nothing good will happen if he didn't.
Followed by that is silence.
That is until Cole spoke up.
"So… do you need space or you wanna talk about it?"
"You two can stay here, I'm just gonna be at the bathroom," Jay replied as he left.
The two shared a concerned look.
"You think he's gonna be okay?" Morro asked.
Cole sighed, "I hope so, I mean, those were some big infos to take in for someone who just 'came back'."
"Should I-"
"No."
"Oh c'mon!"
Meanwhile with Jay,
After being sure that Morro won't mess with him (he's gonna thank Cole for that), he looked in the mirror.
He expected to see his reflection, of course, but that wasn't what he got.
Instead, he saw another version of himself.
The reflection still has his skin color, however, it has mirrored white markings on his cheeks. His brunette hair now has a white streak.
The reflection also has a pair of black horns that has purple accents.
His eyes were a bit different. Instead of having heterochromatic eyes, they're both bright blue. His pupils looked cat-like.
"What the-," Jay said.
"Staring isn't nice, you know?" the reflection cut him.
Jay stumbled backward at the action, luckily he didn't get any injuries.
"What- How- You just– You're just a-" Jay stuttered as he tries to stand up.
The reflection giggled, "Relax, it's just me, Ryder."
"Ryder? This is how you look like?" Jay quizzed.
"Mmm, kinda, charming aren't I?" Ryder said doing a pose.
Jay smiled almost forgetting his worries, "For someone who's in a body of a very insecure person, you're very cocky."
"I mean, that's what alter egos mean now, right?"
Jay smiled again, then it slowly fades away.
Ryder of course, noticed this, "What's wrong?"
"It's just Sensei Wu,"
"Ah right, he told you about mom."
"Yeah, I just can't believe, he knew it from the start and yet never told me. I trusted him so much, and this is what I get,"
Ryder stayed silent, not knowing how to reply.
Jay's eyes started to fill with water, "I mean, seriously, isn't suffering from the whole erased timeline, enough? May I also remind you that I almost lost my best friend. I'm just fourteen for FSM's sake!"
Tears fell from his eyes, he left the mirror and sat on the bathroom floor.
"We're just teenagers who are traumatized in every possible way. We are all too young for this!"
"I'm too young for this…"
A loud, anguish scream then followed.
