Warning: kidnapping, non-con kissing, drugging, stalking, Ron bashing

"What do you want from me?" Hermione asked, looking around wide eyed. She wasn't sure where she was. It looked like the old fair grounds at the edge of town. She remembered how during the summer her parents had used to bring her here, back when the fair was in town. Now, it was autumn. The grounds were abandoned. There were tents still, but they were ripped, hanging from the bare bones of their structures.

"What do you mean? We're here to have a good time," Ron laughed, grabbing Hermione's hand in his. She tried to yank it away, but he held on tightly.

"I don't want to be here, you kidnapped me, drugged me, and brought me here. You'll go to Azkaban for this!"

"We're going to have fun, Hermione. You and me, it's been a long time since it's just been the two of us. Remember how much we love each other?"

"I don't love you!" Hermione screamed, her entire body shaking with rage. She realized in that moment that her wand was missing, she was wearing little more than her bra and knickers, and her trainers were gone, replaced by a pair of black high heels. Ron watched her, a smile playing on his face.

"Aren't you cold, wearing just that? You do look amazing though, I hate to have to cover you up since you spent so much time on your outfit," he said, taking off his cloak and putting it around her shoulders. It smelled like him and she threw it to the ground. She took the moment of Ron no longer holding her to try and run. The ground was muddy and her heels kept getting stuck. Ron was upon her almost instantly.

"You're not safe! Not running around like that! Come on, 'Mione, is spending a day with me so horrible that you're willing to risk breaking your leg to leave?"

"You kidnapped me!"

"I think I can get the ferris wheel working, it's just a lever. Won't it be wonderful to see the world from up there, I mean, I can see it all the time on a broom, but I know you hate flying. Hold my hand," Ron said, grabbing Hermione's hand in his own. She tried to yank free, but he held tight.

"This is going to be the best day ever, you'll see. After today, you'll realize that leaving me was the worst decision of your life, that we're meant to be together," Ron stated, dragging Hermione through the mud. She looked at the wooden booths, all abandoned and in various states of disrepair.

"Help!" she yelled, hoping someone, anyone would hear her. Ron turned on her, his eyes nearly glowing with anger.

"Try to keep quiet. We don't want to get caught."

"I thought you said there's no one here," Hermione snapped, trying once again to yank herself free.

"Ohh, look, balloons! Do you want a balloon?" Ron asked, grabbing a wooden balloon and handing it to Hermione. She took it and started using it to try and break Ron's grip on her wrist. She whimpered as she hit her own flesh. Ron ignored her and continued to drag her.

"You'll see I'm not so bad, I mean, I know we had our problems, but you'll see, we're meant to be together. Here we are, the ferris wheel," Ron announced. Hermione looked at the large ride, the metal bars holding it up, the tiny little boxes the people rode in. If Ron got her up in it, got her to the top, would she be able to escape?

"And I push this lever here, there we go," Ron smiled as the machine started playing music and moving. He yanked Hermione towards it and opened the door to one of the boxes. It wasn't entirely enclosed so Hermione could still feel the cold Autumn air on her face as Ron shoved her inside and forced her to sit next to him. He closed the door behind them.

"See, isn't this nice?"

"Bite me," Hermione hissed causing Ron to laugh.

"If that's what you want, my 'Mione," he stated, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her lips. She pulled away. He took one arm from around her and grabbed her head, holding it as he kissed her, nibbled on her lips and tried to stick his tongue down her throat. She chomped down on it, breaking the skin. Her whole mouth filled with Ron's blood. She spat it out at him.

"Let me go!" she ordered, realizing the box was getting higher and higher.
"No, you're mine," Ron stated. Hermione slid out from under him, running to the edge of the box and looking down. They were almost to the top now. If she jumped, she could jump, would she survive?

"Admit it, you love me," Ron said, rising to his feet. Hermione swung her leg out over the edge. She kicked off her heels to expose her bare feet, she knew she had a better chance of balancing herself without them.

"I'll jump," she said, her voice trembling.

"You wouldn't dare," Ron replied, reaching out to grab Hermione's arm. She screamed a bloodcurdling scream in his ear, as loud as she could. He stumbled back slightly and she threw herself from the box, grabbing the edge of the box below them as she fell. She scrambled into it, holding on tightly as she rose. Ron's box was now at the top of the wheel. Hermione held her breath, hoping Ron wouldn't try to climb down to her, that she was safe for a moment. That's when she heard the sound of metal clanging. Ron was doing just that.

"You wonder why you're still single? It's because you can't get a girl unless you kidnap her," Hermione yelled, hoping to distract him, or make him mad enough he lost his grip.

"You're the only one I want, Hermione. I've been following you, I know you're alone, that you miss me too," he yelled back. Hermione felt herself go pale. She had felt like she'd been being watched lately, but chalked it up to nerves. She was in the middle of an important project at work.

"Leave me alone," Hermione screamed, hearing Ron's feet landing on the top of her box. She swung herself out, grabbing onto the frame of the wheel. She had to get down, had to get away. No one even knew she was here, there was no one coming to save her. She was halfway down when she saw Ron climbing down after her. She moved faster, hoping that she could reach the ground first, that she could outrun him there, or at least find somewhere safe to hide. Her feet touched the cold muddy ground and she started running, the mud squelching between her toes. She heard Ron land behind her. She was already ahead of him, her eyes searching for somewhere, anywhere, she could hide. A faded sign for the house of mirrors caught her attention and she darted inside.

"There, that should slow him down for a moment," she whispered, looking around. She could see the path clearly, but she hoped Ron would be distracted long enough for her to get away. She walked quickly, trying to be as silent as possible. She could hear Ron, he wasn't trying to hide his footsteps, something Hermione took advantage of. She moved when he moved, his footsteps masking hers. She reached the end and slipped outside. The air had gotten colder and there was a scent of snow in the air.

"Winter is coming," she muttered, running as fast as she could towards the large maroon sign saying 'EXIT'. She wasn't sure how she'd get home, but there had to be a road, something that would help her. She tried to remember if there were any spells she had mastered without her wand, now that her head was clear enough to think. Could she apparate? It was hard even with a wand, but she needed to escape, it was only a matter of time before Ron caught up with her.

"Dedication, determination, destination," she muttered, repeating those words over and over until the air around her started to swirl. She nearly lost her focus as she saw Ron charging at her, felt his hand grab her wrist, but by then she'd done it.

Hermione landed with a hard 'thud' on the ground outside the ministry. Her arm throbbed, her head hurt and she felt like she was going to hurl. What she wasn't expecting was the flock of aurors that were now surrounding her.

"Miss Granger! Are you alright?"

'What happened?"

"Hermione?"

At the sound her name, Hermione looked up and into the worried eyes of Theo. They'd been working together for nearly two months and the day before he'd finally asked her out. She'd said yes to coffee.

"It was Ron! He kidnapped me, and took me-" Hermione couldn't even finish her sentence as everything hit her, tears flowing down her cheeks. Theo wrapped his arms around her, summoning a blanket to cover her not quite clothing.

"We've got his hand!" one of the aurors yelled, holding up Ron's splinched hand. Hermione stared at it, at the red marks around her wrist. She'd escaped, taking part of her captor with her, proof of what he'd done.

"Don't worry, you're safe now. They'll get him," Theo promised as the air filled with cracks of apparation, the aurors going to arrest Ron. "I'm going to take you to St. Mungo's, make sure you're alright, can you stand?"

Hermione nodded, climbing to her feet, her legs trembling beneath her. Theo held her tightly as he apparated them.

"Thank you," Hermione whispered as the healers whisked her away to be examined. Once she received a clean bill of health, other than some minor scrapes and bruises, Hermione was discharged to answer the aurors' questions.

"Want me to stay with you?" Theo asked, meeting her outside her hospital room. Hermione nodded, letting him take her hand in his.

"Yes, I'd like that," she replied, feeling safer, more sure of herself, with him there. After going over what had happened at least three times, the aurors were finally satisfied. They had found Ron exactly where Hermione had said, missing his hand and slowly bleeding out. Hermione found it unfortunate that they'd arrived in time to save him.

"I know you probably want to be alone, after everything that's happened, but can I at least walk you back to your flat?" Theo offered.

"No, I don't want to be alone. I know they've got him, but I don't want to go home, not to my flat. That's where... he's been watching me, stalking me."

"I know it's a bit forwards, but you can come stay with me for a bit, just until you feel safe again?" Theo suggested. "We can grab coffee and sit talking about everything but this, or this if it'll make you feel better?"

Hermione nodded.

"Okay, I'll come home with you, just for a bit. And yeah, coffee sounds nice, we could watch something on the telly, if you have one?"

"I do, and a wide range of muggle movies," he added, walking Hermione towards his flat, her hand clinging to his.

"Thank you," she whispered, giving him a small smile, one that Theo returned as they reached his home and Hermione managed to find a small bit of peace, knowing even if Ron got away, he'd never look for her here.
