She loved listening to Lily Luna sing, she was like a siren, leading Alice to destruction. There was no swerving, no avoiding the rocks of the sea they were swimming in.

It started with the late nights, the space between the shows, the bus, the drugs, the drinking. It was boredom, it was something to do. Their lips met after each show, eyes drinking in the other.

Alice spiraled as Lily did the same. They toasted Lily's rise to fame, toasted Alice's genius behind the words. They were holding hands, never doing much more than keeping things innocent enough.

They laughed falling drunk backwards onto the grass of a fresh mowed field in the middle of nowhere. The bus had broken down and Lily's bandmates were waiting for the repairman. Alice and Lily had slipped away, a few glass bottles clinking in their pockets.

They'd emptied those, tossed them aside.

"You'll always be here for me?" Lily asked, tracing the stars in the sky with her fingertip. Her red hair was haloed around her head, bits of green grass mixing with it.

"Always," Alice agreed, looking up at the stars and wondering if the sky had always spun or if it was just the drinks, or if it was because Lily was kissing her, touching her, making Alice want to give away the one thing Lily hadn't yet laid claim to.

"I want to," Lily said, breaking the silence. "I want you."

"I know, we shouldn't, not like this," Alice protested weakly, wishing Lily's hand would move a bit further down her body, wishing Lily's hand would slide between her thighs. "We're both drunk."

"When aren't we?" Lily countered, kissing Alice's lips, kissing down Alice's neck. Alice didn't argue. Lily had a point.

"Right, but someone will be coming to fix the bus, then they'll find us."

"So? Let them, they already know I'm snogging your brains out, let them see us shag," Lily laughed, sitting upright, her face looking green even in the dim night light. She scooted away from Alice. Alice could hear her retching, tossing up the drinks from earlier. She knew she wouldn't be able to resist next time, next time, she'd give herself to Lily, truly and fully.
