A/N: I know that I already updated this story today, but I think I get more impatient as a writer than I do as a reader. This has been a long time coming, so here is the wedding. This is also the last chapter. I think. I actually have four chapters of honeymoon written that I more or less wrote for myself. I'm not sure if there is any interest in them (let me know if you want to read them, but warning, they are largely just sexy times). If there is, I'll probably just add them to the end of this story.

Enjoy. Thanks for reading. I love you. Long live the Shamy.

Amy woke to a pounding on her door. She got up and opened the door to find Penny and Bernadette ready to take Amy to get her hair, nails, and makeup done.

"You haven't showered? Did you just wake up?" Penny asked.

"Yeah. I fell asleep on the couch and I couldn't hear my alarm from there. Just give me fifteen minutes."

"You must have been up late."

"I was texting Sheldon about Star Trek until two when I fell asleep. I would be up and completely ready to go if you guys would have let me sleep with him last night," Amy said as she ran into the bathroom. She was annoyed that they were blaming her. It wasn't the best way to start out her wedding day.

It got easier when they got to the place where the girls were getting their hair and makeup done. The people were very friendly and very happy for Amy. They brought her tea and helped her calm down. It was obvious that they dealt with frantic brides on a daily basis.

When they were done Amy wanted to cry. Not because she was upset, but rather because she thought they did a wonderful job.

"I don't even look like myself. Do you think Sheldon is going to recognize me?" she asked Penny.

"Of course he will. You are always beautiful, Amy. This is just highlighting it. Now, let's get to the church so that we can get changed and you can get married to the great love of your life."

Amy smiled and the three of them drove together to the church. Amy saw Howard's car in the parking lot. That meant that Sheldon was there somewhere. She wanted to go find him, but she knew that Penny would never let her. She checked her watch and it was two o'clock. It was just another hour until she would be walking down that aisle to him.

Sheldon was in a different part of the church. He was pacing and Leonard was trying to keep him calm.

"I would feel so much better if I just had my Amy," Sheldon muttered to himself. "Why do we have to keep this up with this ridiculous tradition? Can't I just see her for a moment?"

"No. You need to finish getting ready. Then we need to take some photos. Then you need to get married to Amy. You'll see her in under an hour. Just focus, Sheldon."

His phone pinged and he pulled it out of the suit pocket. It was Amy.

I'm at the church. They won't let me come see you, but I love you. I'll see you soon, and don't you dare run out on me. -A

I love you too, and I wouldn't dream of it. Also, they won't let me see you either. -S

"She's here," Sheldon said as he sat down. He started calmly tying his tie. He thought that if he finished getting ready that they would be done with all of this that much faster. He couldn't help but think of Amy as he tied the blue tie. She had presented all of the guys with their ties the night before, and he thought it was perfect and thoughtful, just like Amy.

"I'm going to sneak over to see Penny," Leonard said.

"Why do you get to see Penny, but I have to wait to see Amy?"

"I'm already married to Penny. I couldn't see her our wedding day either."

"Fine. Just take this to Amy, then. Don't read it," Sheldon said as he handed Leonard an envelope that was labeled, "Wedding Agreement."

Leonard rolled his eyes and took the envelope. He also told Howard to keep an eye on Sheldon and to not let him leave the room until he got back. Leonard found the room the girls were in and knocked. Penny answered the door and they greeted each other with a kiss. All of the girls were dressed. They were all very beautiful, but especially Amy.

"Wow, Amy, you look great. Sheldon is a lucky guy. He gave me this to give to you," Leonard said as he handed over the letter from Sheldon. Amy had written Sheldon a letter too, so she pulled it out and gave it to Leonard.

"Thanks, Leonard. Can you give this to him?" Amy asked before pulling Leonard in for a hug and handing him a folded piece of paper.

Everyone left Amy alone so that she could read her letter. She only had a couple of minutes, but she still appreciated the time alone to collect her thoughts and she opened the envelope.

My Dearest Amy,

Today is the day that we are getting married. I was so sure that I wanted to live my life alone. That was until I was tricked into meeting you by Wolowitz and Koothrappali. I was in love with you from that first moment. I just didn't recognize it until much later, but that doesn't make it any less true. I love you. I love you. I love you. I can't say it or write it enough. I love you.

Thank you for sticking with me even when I wasn't the man you deserved. I don't know how I've gotten so lucky. I just know that I am. The odds of winning the lottery are nothing when it comes to the odds of finding someone like you. Trust me, I've done the math. I never want to spend another day away from you. I want to have little geniuses with you. I want to have a big house with you. I want to grow old with you. I want to have everything with you.

I can't wait to have you by my side when I hear that I've won the Nobel Prize. Then again when I hear that you've won one too. You are so beautiful, kind, wonderful, and smart. You are smarter than I am. You saw what we have long before I did. You didn't give up on me.

There has been not been a day since I met you that I didn't thank God that I met you. You are the most perfect being on the planet for me. I love you.

I love you, my Amy.

Sheldon

Amy tried not to cry after reading the letter. "I love you, too," she whispered. She pulled the letter to her chest and held it until there was a knock on the door.

Sheldon was surprised that Leonard returned with a letter. He took it and opened the piece of paper. It was from Amy.

Sheldon,

I guess there's no harm and admitting this now, but I've loved you since the day we met. I dreamed of this day for years, and it's finally here. I don't know how I got so lucky, but you are marrying me.

I cannot express how excited about our future together. I love you and thank you for loving me too. I've never doubted it from the moment you first told me. You make me a better person, and I don't think I tell you that enough. You make me playful and happy. You've given me everything I could ever hope for. Thank you, my love.

When I go to bed tonight, I will go to bed as Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler-Cooper. I couldn't imagine a better future. I love you. I'll see you soon. I'll be the one in white.

Yours Always,

Amy

The "Yours" was underlined several times. You are only mine as much as I am yours, Sheldon thought. He tucked the note into his breast pocket and got up.

"Let's do this," he told Leonard.

They all walked out to wait at the front of the church near Pastor Roberts. Sheldon's mother ran forward to kiss her younger son on the cheek before going back to her seat.

The music started playing and Bernadette appeared followed by Penny. They slowly walked down the aisle and then the music changed. Sheldon was pleased that Amy didn't go with the Wagner.

That thought flew from his mind the moment that Amy appeared, arm in arm with her father. Sheldon always thought that Amy was beautiful, but she suddenly existed on a higher level than he did. Every face in the church was turned toward Amy.

Sheldon's breath hitched in his throat and he fought the urge to run toward her. Her eyes found his and she smiled at him. They stared at each other until she finally reached him. Sheldon broke protocol and pulled Amy in for a hug as soon as he could. The small crowd clapped at this, and Sheldon pulled back a little embarrassed.

The wedding itself was pretty standard. Neither Amy nor Sheldon wanted to write their own vows, so they went with the normal ones, and it went off without a hitch. Sheldon said his parts without a problem because he didn't focus on anything other than Amy standing in front of him. Amy's voice broke slightly as she said "I do."

They kissed each other and turned to the crowd. It was the first time that Sheldon had acknowledged anyone other than Amy, Pastor Roberts, or Leonard. He smiled and had tears in his eyes. It was the proudest and happiest moment of his life. Most of the people there almost couldn't recognize him

They left the church together and made their way over to the reception. Sheldon wished they could skip the reception, but he knew they couldn't.

When they were alone in the car Sheldon said, "I love you, Dr. Fowler-Cooper."

"I love you, Sheldon. Thank you for making today a reality. I know you could have insisted that we run off and elope, and I would have done it. Instead, you let me have this," Amy said.

They went into the reception. The band was playing softly and the couple was introduced. Everyone came by to wish them well before they could have dinner. Sheldon bumped his foot against Amy's and he left it there once they were seated. He felt like it would cause him pain to be physically parted from her. He didn't expect to be so affected by being married.

After dinner, Sheldon and Amy got up to dance. They had been practicing it for a couple of weeks, so it went smoothly. They just slow danced for their first dance, but the second one was a Cha Cha similar to the first time they ever danced. Other than Sheldon and Amy, only Penny and Bernadette really understood the meaning of that dance, but everyone enjoyed it anyway.

"Do you mind sitting one out?" Sheldon whispered in her ear. They had danced for several songs already. Plus the dance that he had with his mother while she danced with her father and Penny had demanded a chance to dance with the new "Dr. Fowler" as she put it. He was getting tired and his shoes were beginning to pinch his feet.

Amy went with him to their seats and as they sat down, he pulled her onto his lap instead of letting her have her own seat. Sheldon had gotten surprisingly comfortable touching Amy in the last year and a half since that night when she was ill and slept in his bed for the first time. Their friends were still shocked that even after being together for five years, Sheldon and Amy had not engaged in coitus.

He'd waited this long, surely he could wait a little longer. Then again, feeling Amy's body pressed against his while she was seated on his lap made him wish the reception was already over. The flash nearly blinded him as he was caught unaware by the photographer catching Amy kissing Sheldon's cheek and he was brought back to reality.

After another dance, Sheldon was pulled away to cut the cake. He promised Amy a number of punishments if she dared to smear cake on his face. She agreed, but mostly because he had given her a beautiful wedding and she loved him, rather than fearing his wrath. He held her hand as they cut the cake together and then used forks to feed each other rather than their hands. He had proven over the last few months that he wasn't afraid of her germs, but the frosting would still make them both uncomfortable.

After the cake and the tossing of the the bouquet and the garter, Sheldon wanted to know when they could leave. "I know that you are tired, Sheldon, but can't we have one more dance? Then, I promise that we'll start making our goodbyes," Amy said.

He couldn't say no to her, so they had one more dance together. Sheldon wasn't tired as much as he wanted to be alone with his new wife. Still, Sheldon looked tired enough. His jacket was abandoned, so he was only in his waistcoat with the sleeves of his shirt rolled up to his elbows. The skin of his forearms brushed the skin of Amy's back where the dress dipped a little. He held her close as the finished their last dance of the party. He grinned at her before he dipped her once.

Then they started telling everyone goodbye. Once they were ready to leave, everyone went outside to see them off. Amy was tearing up because of all of the love she felt from her friends and family. Sheldon kissed her one more time before they got in the car. The limo drove them home because their flight for Hawaii didn't leave until the next morning.

They went upstairs, but Sheldon wouldn't let Amy walk into the apartment. Instead he picked her up and carried her inside. He put her down inside of the apartment.

"Am I supposed to carry you all the way to the bed because I can do that."

"This is far enough," Amy told him, but she started walking back to their room. "Sheldon, I'm going to need your help getting out of this dress," she called back at him

Sheldon didn't need to be told twice. He walked in and unzipped Amy's dress. He started pulling it down so that she could step out of it. Amy put her hand on his shoulder and stepped out of the dress that was laying on the floor. They also slipped off their shoes and kicked them away. Once Amy was standing again, Sheldon started kissing her neck.

Amy took off his suit jacket and his tie without him ever removing his mouth from her neck. Then she pulled back to unbutton his shirt. All of the clothes were going on the floor and Amy was certain that Sheldon would give her a hard time about that later, but right now, neither of them cared.

Sheldon reached behind Amy to take off her bra at the same time Amy undid his belt. Then she unbuttoned his pants and they were both left in only their underwear. Sheldon pushed Amy back on the bed.

"I've been waiting for this for so long," Sheldon whispered.

"Not as long as I have," Amy said back.

Sheldon didn't argue. He just moved his attention to Amy's breasts. He licked and sucked on each of them while he fondled the other with his hand. Amy arched her back and moaned. That noise drove Sheldon wild. He moved his kissing down to Amy's stomach while he wrapped a finger around the waistband of the lacy panties she wore. They were the last piece of clothing she wore, and he needed them gone. Amy lifted her hips so that he could remove them.

Sheldon kissed Amy's hipbone while he explored her with his fingers. He knew that he hit the right spot when she started to squirm under his ministrations. She was breathing heavily when Sheldon looked up at her face. Without moving his eyes from hers, Sheldon slipped a finger inside of her and then a second. He moved them in and out and and Amy started making noises again. He was fascinated by the new experience, and he couldn't take his eyes off of Amy's face as he watched her adjust to the invasion.

Amy started twisting her hands in the sheets. Sheldon's hands were doing things that she had only ever imagined them doing and she knew he was close to bringing her to orgasm. It was much more than she had ever found on her own or with electrodes stimulating her brain. His long, graceful fingers didn't stop moving as her muscles tightened, her toes curled, and she screamed his name.

"Sheldon, please," she whimpered after another moment.

"What do you need? Just tell me and I'll do it. Anything," Sheldon said back.

"I need you right now," Amy said.

Sheldon stopped what he was doing and moved back up to the top of the bed. He pulled a box out of the nightstand and pulled a condom out of the box. He had secretly practiced putting one on because he didn't want screw anything up.

He opened it and slid it on before positioning himself above Amy. He was pressed right up against her. He was so aroused that he knew he wouldn't last long once he began. He kissed Amy one more time before he pushed himself in.

He moved in slowly and stopped every time Amy drew in a little breath. He didn't want to hurt her.

"Are you okay?" he said in her ear.

"Yes. Please," she begged.

Sheldon just pushed himself in the rest of the way. Amy felt a little discomfort, but she most just felt the pressure of being filled in a way that she had never experienced before. Sheldon waited just the briefest moment before starting to move out again. He couldn't believe the sensation of being inside Amy. He tried to think of something, anything else, but it just took over his mind.

Before he was completely out, Sheldon pushed back in. It took a few strokes before Amy started feeling more comfortable with the motion and started moving along with him.

"Amy," was all that Sheldon could say.

"Just a little faster," Amy said and Sheldon moved faster. He knew he wouldn't last long, but he hoped he could do whatever Amy wanted.

It wasn't much longer until Sheldon knew he was done for. Amy felt heavenly under him and he wasn't going to be able to keep going. He said her name one more time as he felt himself release. He felt a little embarrassed, but his knowledge of her love made it easier.

Amy was panting. It was even better than she expected. She was suddenly glad that they had waited, and that Sheldon was hers. She never felt so connected to anyone as she listened to him breathing her name in her ear.

Then Sheldon rolled over so that he wouldn't slump onto Amy. He didn't want to crush her, but his energy was zapped. He removed the condom and placed it in the trash can by their bed. There was a loud voice in his head that told him that he had just made a huge mess and that he needed to get up and clean himself and Amy. He couldn't physically do it though. All he could physically do was pull Amy into his arms and hold her close to him while he drifted off to sleep.

Amy was slightly more awake, but she cuddled into Sheldon. She felt so incredibly loved in that moment. They had shared that moment together, and they would never share it with another person. They fell asleep together, but after an hour, Sheldon woke back up. He woke up Amy and took her into the shower.

They cleaned up and put on clean pajamas. Sheldon also changed the sheets quickly and then they got back into bed. Sheldon didn't hesitate to pull Amy back into his arms.

"Thanks for loving me enough to let me do that," Sheldon told her as soon as they were back in bed.

They fell back asleep together. They didn't have to get up very early because their flight wasn't until one. Amy woke up first, but she didn't want to leave Sheldon's side, so she just put her arm back across him and cuddled into his side. Sheldon tightened his hold on her in his sleep, but then he woke up again after a couple of minutes. He kissed Amy's head.

"Good morning," Sheldon said shyly.

"Good morning," Amy said back.

"How are you feeling this morning?" he asked.

Amy stretched her body a little, testing out her muscles. "I'm a little sore, but good. I am married to a handsome genius who is an excellent lover. I don't think life can get better than that."

"It can if you are married to a gorgeous neurobiologist who is an irresistible vixen, but as we are supposed to go on our honeymoon in the matter of hours, we'll have to agree to disagree. Since you are sore, we can forgo another round of love making until we are in Hawaii."

"We don't have to forgo it. I'm not in that much pain, and we have time," Amy said while she pressed a kiss to Sheldon's neck.

"I'd rather that we wait a few more hours than injure you in a way that would prevent the two weeks of torrid love making I have planned."

"Fair enough. I should get up and get dressed anyway. We have to get to the airport in a couple of hours and I haven't finished packing yet."

Amy took another shower out of habit and then finished loading clothes into her suitcase. She packed the swimsuit that Penny had convinced her she should buy and the more conservative one that she wanted to buy. She would decide which one to wear after they got there. Maybe she would could try them both on and ask Sheldon which one he liked better.

Of course Sheldon was already packed and ready to go long before they needed to leave. Leonard had volunteered to drive the newly married couple to the airport, and he knocked on their door right on time. He didn't ask them about their night. He didn't want to know even though he would probably end up with a few details whenever Penny talked to Amy.

Still, he didn't help but notice that Sheldon chose to sit in the back seat with Amy instead of up front like he normally would. Sheldon also kept his hand on Amy's bare knee for the entire drive to the airport.

"Congratulations, man," Leonard said as he quickly hugged Sheldon. Sheldon pulled out of the hug after about a second. Then Leonard pulled Amy into a hug too. "I'm so happy for you guys, and I know Penny would have loved to see you off, but she is still drunk from last night. Have a good trip."

"Thanks, Leonard. For everything," Amy said.

Sheldon grabbed Amy's hand, nodded a goodbye at Leonard, and they were off to catch their flight.

Security was a hassle because of Amy's past issues and the coin lodged in Sheldon's nose, but they managed to get to their plane on time. In fact, they had enough time to grab an over priced lunch from one of the restaurants in the airport. Amy loved looking at her husband. She almost forgot to eat as she kept running the night before in her head.

"You need to finish your lunch. They are going to start boarding our flight in fifteen minutes," Sheldon told her.

"Sorry. I was just thinking about last night. The wedding was so amazing and the rest of it was beyond words," Amy said.

"I agree. I love you, and you should eat," Sheldon told her. He wanted her at full strength for what he had planned for later.

Amy tried to finish her lunch, but she ended up throwing half of it away. She just couldn't focus on eating. They boarded their plane and Sheldon grabbed Amy's hand while they waited for the plane to take off. Sheldon wasn't terrible at flying, but the take off always made him a little bit nervous. Amy kissed his cheek. She thought that she could have kissed him more to distract him, but she knew that her husband would be uncomfortable with that.

"You're my husband," Amy said shocked. It was still so new to her that she loved saying it out loud.

"Yes, and you are my wife," Sheldon said. "I wish that I had asked you years ago because I love being able to say that."

The plane started taking off and once it was comfortably in the air, the flight attendant came over to ask if they wanted anything to drink.

"My lovely wife would like a glass of white wine and I would like a Sprite please," Sheldon said proudly.

"Congratulations on the wedding," the flight attendant said.

"Thank you. How did you know?" Sheldon asked.

"I work this flight to Hawaii a lot and you two just have that look about you. Have a good honeymoon," she said as she handed Amy and Sheldon their drinks.

"I fear we are going to be like Leonard and Penny after they got married," Sheldon said after she left. "We haven't even been doing more than holding hands and she could tell that we had just married."

"I'm not worried about it because I don't want to hold back my feelings for you. I want everyone to know how much I completely and utterly love my husband," Amy told him.

"Well, when you put it that way," Sheldon said as he put his arm around Amy and pulled her in to kiss the side of her head.

Their flight was pretty normal. They didn't try to join the Mile High Club or make out in their seats. Instead, they just read and cuddled in their seats. Getting married and finally having sex didn't change either of them overnight. They were still themselves.
