For real this time, I will write the lemon in this chapter. Wow, I still can't believe that my story has already gotten 45,000 views! I thank you all for you patience and loving this story. I needed it to be something fun, sexy and has fighting moments. After what happened playing MK11, there were a lot of plotholes and things that were not explained.
Don't get me started on the characters that showed up and had no role to the plot but to be there! If you are curious, Disciples was based on a friend on mine's story called Ambassadors where a group of friends got transported into the anime world and must follow the logic to survive.
Chapter 42
3rd P.O.V
Riana was just cleaning up before going home. She was glad to see Nash maturing a bit, sensing that he's slowly learning his lesson along the way. In a sense after exile, he's trying to make up for everything.
She will do her part to make up for her mistakes too.
Right now, she's thinking of how she will work with Bryan to spy at Shang Tsung's island to gain information and weaken their forces. She assumed it has Tarkatans over there and Black Dragon members. But there's no way they could teleport or use a boat there since the island has magic that could detect their presence or guards on duty.
She was walking down the hallway with Kurt skittering behind her. Riana was going to check on Ferra and Torr. Even if they are happy here, she just wants to see how they are doing. She liked those two as they reminded her of an older pet-brother looking out for his little sister.
Riana found them training and play-fighting like aggressive otters is how she would put it lightly. She watched them, finding it sweet that those two have been together through thick and thin. Kurt climbed on her shoulder to watch while snuggling into Riana's neck.
"Hey you two," Riana greeted them. "What are you doing?"
"Play-fight!" Ferra announced enthusiastically while her brute companion grunted in agreement. "Want to play too?"
"I'm good," Riana smiled. "Just visiting before I head home. So, do you like it here?"
"We like it here! Big Bossy saved us again. We stay here!"
Kurt climbed down to play with them while Riana walked around. She was looking for a solution to get into Shang Tsung's island without being detected. She figured the library was the way to go but she was halted by someone she doesn't want to see.
"This One has heard a lot about you, Riana," D'vorah buzzed, fluttered in front of her. Riana was disturbed. "You gain K'oatal's trust and found your place here."
"I do what I can to survive," Riana shrugged, still wary of the bee lady. Those stingers could probably rip her apart like those creatures from the Dead Space horror game. "He's kind and I trust him."
"This One trusts him too," she nodded. "However, you look uncomfortable whenever This One is around. Care to explain?"
I don't trust you. Riana stared at her, eyeing those stingers that will soon penetrate her. "You are intimidating. Your stingers fascinate me, D'vorah but then again you don't look like someone who stops for a small compliment."
D'vorah tilts her head which Riana wanted to step back because she's scaring her. What made Riana blinked was when D'Vorah took out a larva from her stomach compartment.
"Do you keep your children in there?" she asked, just hiding the fact she has taken out a claw from her thumb.
"All Kytinns keep their offsprings in here for their protection," D'Vorah explained. "This One has heard that you are fond of animals. Are you fond of insects, Riana?"
"Some of them," she answered. "Because most are deadly so I tend to stay away from them. So, I hope I'm not keeping you away from your duty."
But D'vorah said nothing and teleported off with a swarm of bees surrounding her. The young woman shuddered at the sight, hoping not to encounter that Kytinn. She figured one of these days, D'vorah will surely kill her.
She felt a presence as she was walking back to pick up Kurt. Riana knew who it was and nudged herself to the unknown being. Reptile appeared and purred while holding her.
"Hello, dear," he purred softly, he ran his tongue over his lover's cheek which made her blush. He nuzzled her gently. "I sensed that you are anxious. What troubles you, my sweet?"
Riana told him about how uncomfortable she was around D'vorah and her interactions with her. The second was the plan to be with Bryan for the mission tomorrow where they will travel to the island but she's afraid of getting caught. Reptile pondered for a bit and then it dawned on him.
"What about secret tunnels?" he suggested. "I remember some of the soldiers used the water route to arrive at the island without being caught. Travelling in the water isn't an issue for me but for those soldiers, they had to eat those aquatic herbs in order to have a safe travel."
"Does the herb cause any side effects?" asked Riana who was now interested. But the Zaterran decided to hang her there and led her to the healer to ask for the herb itself. Riana noticed that some of the medicines on the shelves were different than the ones she saw at the pharmacies.
Reptile came back with a small jar with a moss-like herb inside. Riana peered inside the contents. It was best to test it out in the Kuatan jungle so before leaving, they picked up Kurt so that they could try it out. If it works, Riana hoped Bryan would cooperate and eat this strange herb.
"You need to take off your shoes," Reptile pointed out. Riana slowly did while her pet had sniffed a bit of the herb and sneezed. Reptile placed a hand on his lover's shoulder.
"Are you ready, Riana?"
"Yes."
So both owner and pet had a piece of the herb to eat. To Kurt, it tasted awful but he gulped it down as if it were a sort of medicine the vet used to give him. His beard has turn black from being uncomfortable. Riana felt the same way too as if her lungs were filled with water and the suffocating feeling.
Before she could react, Reptile had pushed her into the water.
Riana felt like the water was dragging her down into her watery grave. She tried to call out for help but bubbles came out. The young woman was gasping until her eyes finally opened and…
She could breathe normally.
Riana noticed that she could see the whole underwater world clearly. She surveyed her surrounding before coming into contact with a sandy pale fish with spikes. It took her a while to realised that this fish was her pet.
Riana looked down at her feet and hands to let out a gasp. Her legs had morphed themselves into webbed feet while her hands became claw-like with fins in-between each fingers. The moment she flexed her claws, venom oozed out.
"Ah, it works after all," Reptile commented as he swam beside her. Riana noticed there wasn't a change from him. "Just follow me since I know a passage that leads to the island."
Riana tried but was struggling since she's not used to swimming or walking underwater. Reptile on the other hand swam like a crocodile in the water. The only question she had in mine was how the hell could she hear him underwater or how long could he hold his breath.
It was a long swim but Riana enjoyed everything about it. How the fishes swam past them as they manoeuvred through the water. It wasn't easy for Riana despite the body morph from the herb.
After some time, she had gotten used to it, even Kurt who had turned into a fish decided to do a small spin while swimming. She would love to stay in this underwater world forever with its beauty and fascinating creatures that looked like they came from H.P. Lovecraft with a blend of Jeremy Wade's river monster fish. She would have to do a detour after finding the island to collect new forms of venom and poison in the water.
Both of them eventually reached the island when Reptile resurfaced to catch his breath. Riana was impressed since it almost felt like hours when they were swimming. The young woman never got a good look at the island and it was scary that all those tournaments and probably death are going to be there.
"I've been here all my life besides Outworld," Reptile sighed. Riana can't surface due to the fact the herb had made her sprout out gills. So she touched her lover's hand underwater.
"Looks like we found our secret passage to come here," said Riana. "Come on, let's get back and meet up with my brother. I bet Bryan's with him now at Bo Rai Cho's place."
Reptile smiled, nuzzling his mate before taking a look at her. She looked beautiful even with those fins, gills and features that reminded him of a fish with venomous spines. Those scars on her back were replaced by stripes that were of bright purple colours.
He knew damn well that all creatures of bright colours are deadly.
"Before we leave," Reptile stopped her from swimming. He kissed her softly on the lips again, savouring the taste. Riana teased him a bit by nipping at the corner of his mouth to which he growled. "There's another lesson that you must know. I will now teach you how to locate and track underwater."
…
Nash's P.O.V
"So you actually found a way into the island?" I questioned my sister who nodded. After hearing what she did with Reptile, I'm kinda impressed! Not just finding another route to the island but now Bo Rai Cho's place has become a meeting centre for us Disciples and our small allies.
"No way I'm going to eat that voodoo herb!" Bryan made a gagging motion. "Good thing my apex suit can turn into a submarine. Swimming as fishes is just gross!"
"Careful what you're saying, Bryan," Riana challenged him. "Aren't the Black Dragons tech savvy? Because I have a feeling your spy bats and suit will be detected."
"Shoot! And folks wonder why I don't want to go with the times," Erron Black leaned back and took a swig of his drink. Kristina gulped down her booze before turning to the cowboy.
"You know what? Why don't you follow Riana and Bryan along to the island?"
"What?!" Riana and Bryan both exclaimed. I too pondered at that before Azril's clear voice silenced the room with his opinion.
"I think it's possible," he nodded. "With your disguises Bryan, Erron would fit right in the Black Dragon group while you get the information. Of course, if you want to get all of Shang Tsung's plans, I believe that creating a diversion would do."
"Diversion?" Ermac enquired, probably curious at the word. Erron Black on the other hand rolled his eye but I noticed he was hiding his smile under the mask he's wearing. He parted it slightly to drink.
"Hmm, he's right," I pointed it out while scooping a spoon of Riana's fried rice in my mouth. "I think for the best Erron might be a good candidate along with Reptile in terms of being street smart."
I swear to god that I thought Erron was hiding a laugh. Somehow no one except Kristina seemed to notice it. Then, Riana asked if anyone would like second helpings of the fried rice to which I am surprised everyone raised their hands including the Outworlders as she went to the kitchen to fetch the second bowl.
"Seems like an interesting plan," Bo Rai Cho chuckled while taking a swig of the bottle. "However, I wouldn't be so positive about it. The island is unpredictable so your plan might not be as smooth as you imagined."
"Then we improvise!" Bryan announced. All of us stare at him and I could hear Kristina muttering on how it's going to be his random plan. "Diversion's gonna need a good disguise and I know who could use one."
There he was grinning like a Cheshire cat, eyeing everyone to choose who is going to dress up.
"Is your friend sound in the mind?" Ermac whispered to Kristina. She just shrugged and offered Ermac a bit more of a drink and then I noticed Erron slumped forward. Clearly, he's either bored or too much drinks.
Well, this has been a hell of a day for all of us. I suggested to those going to the island to get some needed rest before the mission tomorrow. Only left are me, Azril, Kristina and even to an extend Ermac.
"So what are we going to do in Shao Kahn's palace?" Kristina asked with a slur in her voice. "I can't wait to start using my guns and fists on those sons of bitches. I'd be wearing their skins as trophies."
"They might be thousands of them," I told the drunk girl. "We gotta think carefully of how to get info of Shao Kahn's plans along with his successor Mileena."
"And give you a clean slate," Azril pointed out while sipping his cup of tea. "I don't think the locals are going to welcome you back after what you did. But it's a miracle Jade and Kitana forgave you. So, what are you going to do tomorrow?"
"I'm going to find Mileena," I decided. Kristina had her mouth agape while Azril arched a brow and Ermac tilted his head in curiosity. "I got all of us into this mess so I want to see if I could reason with her."
"Reason with her?" Kristina threw her head back and laugh, clearly had too much to drink. "She practically raped you with that girlfriend of hers. She two timed you!"
"Just like what Joshua did to you?"
Suddenly, I was met with a fist to my face. Before a raging Kristina could even charge again, Ermac held her back with his telekinesis while Azril helped me up. I swear that I can't close my mouth.
"Don't you fucking dare bring up that name!" Kristina spat, struggling to get out of the construct's grip. "That fucker's gonna pay when I get back from all of this!"
"Kristina, Nash, that's enough," Azril's firm tone silenced the both of us. He never had to raise his voice so even a sentence was enough to stop everything. "Kristina, go home because you are drunk. Nash, I hope your plan works and I am going to check on Visenya, who might as well be as big as a horse by now."
With that, he left without any of us stopping him. Well if he needs to go, we'll let him. Kristina was still in rage, tears falling down from her face. I felt bad for bringing up her ex but it had to be done.
"We will bring Kristina out to calm her nerves," the construct assured me before he left with the angry Disciple. Something about Ermac's glowing green eyes made me feel hypnotised. My mind said not to trust him because he serves Shao Kahn but seeing how he cares about Kristina made me doubt about it.
I laid myself down in my room to contemplate about tomorrow. Will our plan work out? If it doesn't, are we going to be stuck as NPC characters in this gaming world of fighting each other to death? Do I really want to go home after everything?
Only time could tell as I doused the candle that lit up my room.
…
3rd P.O.V
Azril had went back to the Lin Kuei to prep up for tomorrow. He was using a stone to sharpen all of his multiple daggers that ranged from plain blades to jagged teeth that has different outcomes on enemies.
If all else failed, he brought a pencil sharpener and some 2B pencils with him. It worked just as efficiently as daggers. In his room, everything was neat and in order except for the female wyvern that's a size of an Arabian horse.
Visenya had her head on the pillow, purring in content.
Azril could only sigh as the little hatchling from the egg will soon become the terror in the sky. Right now, he gave her a few pats and scratches under the chin where she would lick his face.
"Visenya," he sighed. "Frost is still learning how to control her temper. You wouldn't like it if you were hated by everyone or not be taken seriously."
The Wyvern drooped her head and let out a warble sound from her throat. Clearly she sounded a bit guilty for almost torching Frost alive even though she wanted to. Azril kissed his companion on the snout.
"You're a good girl," he murmured to her. Just then, there was a knock at the door. Visenya growled at the door, her tail was swishing irritably. He knew who it was standing at his doorway.
It was Frost.
"You brought your pet to sleep with you?" the Cryomancer pointed at the now hostile wyvern. Azril simply petted Visenya's head to calm her down.
"Can you really blame her after you tried to kill me countless times?" he arched a brow. Frost hesitantly lowered her guard as Visenya approached her with intensity in her eyes. Frost decided to ignore the wyvern's stare and wrapped her arms around the Grandmaster's disciple.
He returned it and embraced her. Frost had never felt this warm before since she was eleven. She leaned up to kiss him, moaning softly as Azril reciprocated the feeling with their tongues duelling in each other's mouth. When Frost opened her eyes, she wanted to pull away.
Visenya was staring at her with an unsettling gaze.
"Something wrong?" Azril asked as he broke out of the kiss.
"She's watching us!"
Azril turned to his wyvern, signalling her with a finger to come closer. Both man and wyvern leaned their heads together to which Frost finds it weird yet interesting. Visenya hesitated but went outside, probably to either hunt or practice flying, leaving the both of them alone.
"So what was it you wanted to talk to me about?" Azril asked before Frost pushed him down on his bed and kissed him harder. Azril simply held her close, locking her in his embrace.
"Is this your idea of killing me?" he asked, a bit amused at her attempts. Frost was baffled at how he doesn't get the message.
"I love you, Azril."
"I know you do," he nodded. "With my spine ripped out of my body and my head as your trophy."
"No," she shook her head. "I mean I really like you, Azril. Of course I hated you at first because I want to be Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei and you had to show up, taking over and gaining followers."
"And now?" he asked, a small smile was seen on his lips.
"I want to be the best fighter of course!" Frost laughed but then caressed his cheek. "But I want you, Azril. I need you right now."
Azril pondered but realised what it was. He averted his gaze, embarrassed that he's blushing for a bit. Frost never knew this stoic Disciple would be so vulnerable just like anyone else. She decided to help him break out of the wall he had placed on himself just as she had broken down hers.
She told him to lay still while she kissed his neck softly before she lifted his shirt to lick down a trail from his lean frame until she found his jeans. She was heating up for a Cryomancer, seeing a small bulge formed.
"I didn't know you could be aroused, Azril," she teased him. She unzipped his jeans before stroking the length through his boxers. "Always thought you were a robot from the start."
"That's rich…coming from someone who doesn't have…mmm, an off switch for temper tantrums," he tried to counter but couldn't help but stifle a groan. Frost was grinning before she stripped her top to reveal her C-size breasts with perky nipples.
Azril grabbed her breasts before Frost pulled down his pants along with his underwear to reveal his length. Her mouth salivated as it was just right. She used a bit of her cryo abilities to make it stiff by pumping the shaft.
"Frost…"
"Relax, babe," she kissed the tip before engulfing it into her mouth. Azril held one hand at her head, encouraging her to go further while the other was gripping the headboard of the bed. He used one of his legs to pull down the Cryomancer's pants to reveal her smooth, pale naked body.
He had never felt all of these emotions at the same time. This woman was just driving him crazy!
Frost was so into sucking him off, she never realised that she was being groped by the very same man. It made her excited and needy for his touch. Azril groaned softly before he came into her mouth.
"That…was…"
"It was," Frost sighed before she straddled him. He panted at how hot and wet she was compared to her abilities and icy attitude. Azril held her waist as they both thrusted slowly into each other. Both of them kissed to silenced their moans.
"Frost….I care about you," Azril was now breathing heavily. He leaned down to tease Frost's breasts which made her bounce on him even harder.
"Me…too…God, Azril!" Frost held him close as they continued to have their desires fulfilled. It was going to be a passionate hour before Azril leaves for the mission.
This was something Azril would never forget.
…
Meanwhile, Kristina had gone to the bar in Outworld with Ermac. She doesn't give a damn that Erron was already there, having his own drink. He tipped his had at the both of them in greeting.
"Hey Princess, Ghostie," he nodded to Ermac. Ermac regarded him with a small glare from the glowing green eyes. "What brings you here?"
"Kristina had a fight with Nash," Ermac told him as they both watched Kristina slumped over to gaze at an empty mug. Erron has never met a woman quite like her, considering a lot of tough women he grew up with taught him to hit back.
Then again, Ermac's not so bad-looking himself.
"He brought up an ex?" Erron whistled. "That I never knew. She used to be with someone?"
"Indeed," Ermac nodded. "With her stubbornness and competitive nature, those are traits most around her age would be attracted to. Though, she does have sensitivity."
"That I can agree on, partner," Erron nodded, hiding a smile behind his mask. "Still, damn shame that bastard cheated on her. Threw away a perfectly good woman if you ask me."
Ermac was quiet. Erron glanced at the two back and forth before polishing his rifle. Who knew this bag of dead things has feelings for the same girl he's after.
Who wouldn't since she's beautiful, has a good heart and knows how to use a gun!
With Ermac still standing, the gunslinger sat next to a drunk Kristina. She gazed up at him with a crooked smile. "Has anyone ever tell you that you have pretty eyes, Erron?"
This caught him off guard.
"Like the sky over the meadows," she slurred a bit, Erron catching her to which she snuggle into his chest. "The sky and there's another set of eyes that are pretty as well~ Like a rare gem, baby… I would love both of them if I…I…"
And then Kristina was out cold. Both the cowboy and construct were both stunned at Kristina's drunken confession. Erron and Ermac knew they both have to take her back to the Shokan's before anything could happen.
Thanks to Ermac's teleporting abilities, they carried Kristina to her room. She looked so peaceful without all that rage she had carried herself with. Ermac gazed down at her before bending down to kiss her on the forehead.
"Let's go, Black."
"I'll catch up with you." Ermac nodded before he left. Erron kneeled down at her sleeping figure, touching her cheek. With tender care, he kissed her there with what he rarely showed to most people before he too walked out.
"Sleep well, Kris."
Well, that's a good way to end before shit happens in the next chapter!
I like where this is going with the confession in the end~ And damn, Azril got game! Visenya is sure going to torch Frost alive if she finds out!
If you are wondering, I kinda based that first scene with Riana and Reptile from Harry Potter if you know which one I'm talking about ;)
I wished Nash luck to try and convince Mileena after all that has happened. So get ready for the next chapter where more fight scenes, and funny moments.
So please review!
