I don't own Godzilla or Azur Lane.
Author's Note: About halfway through writing this chapter, I realized that there's way too many characters to individually describe them so I decided that all the ships that appear in this will be listed in the author's note at the end of the chapter so you can look them up and see what they look like if you are not familiar with Azur Lane. Also, this chapter takes some aspects from the anime, but the rest of the story will take most things from the game.
Chapter 2: Awakening
Somewhere Deep in the Pacific
It had been a couple years since Amagi had been assigned as Gojira's priestess. She was currently manifesting herself in an astral form above what appeared to be large mountain on the sea floor. She knew better that it was not a mountain.
The 'mountain' was actually Gojira sleeping. He had been dormant for so long that tons of rock and sand had covered his body up, giving it the appearance of a mountain.
Amagi was watching the sea life swimming around the 'mountain'. Every creature was ignorant to the beast hidden within. The kitsune was quite bored, for she had nothing else to do but to watch the wildlife and occasionally have telepathic conversations with Gojira. She quickly learned in the beginning that, despite physically being asleep, Gojira could still be mentally awake whenever he chose.
During the few moments Gojira would communicate, Amagi had come to fully understand much about him and why he hadn't felt a true need to awaken to face the Sirens. Gojira felt that the war with the Sirens need to only be fought with humanity. They had not proven to be a serious threat to him or the balance of nature. He was quite stubborn and dead set on not changing how he lived.
As for what Gojira thought of Amagi, at first, he was annoyed by her presence and angry at Mothra for binding her to him. However, as time went on, he came to tolerate her and sometimes enjoyed her company.
Amagi had grown to enjoy the beast's company as well but still grew annoyed by his occasional attitude. As she was reminiscing on her time with the monster king, she suddenly felt that something bad was about to happen. From what she could tell, Gojira felt it too and was reaching out with his heightened senses to figure out what the source was.
A moment later, Gojira felt vibrations in the water and could sense a large amount of energy being discharged on an island. He did not like what he was feeling and decided that this needed to be investigated.
Amagi nodded in understanding. He had relayed all the information to her. She watched as the 'mountain' began shaking and small pieces crumbled down. All wildlife in the area quickly swam as far away as possible. Sand and mud were kicked up, making the water darker and murky. Larger chunks of rock began to crumble and topple down to the bottom. Three rows of jagged spikes began to emerge from the top of 'mountain'. A long reptilian tail with scales of charcoal black coloring burst from the side of the 'mountain'. Finally, a large reptilian head slowly rose up as the rest of the 'mountain' crumbled down to the sea floor.
The beast that emerged had a short and broad snout full of sharp teeth, a semi-long and muscular neck, short but muscular arms, long and sharp claws on each four fingered hand, and long and muscular legs with four sharp toe claws. His eyes slowly opened, revealing orange-colored eyes with a piercing gaze that would strike fear in any that would look into them. This was the mighty form of Gojira, King of all Monsters.
Amagi looked on in awe. This was the first time she had gazed on the true form of the Sakura Empire's God of Destruction and Sea.
Gojira locked eyes with her for moment and turned to look in the direction he sensed the energy discharge. He then kicked off the ocean floor and swam using his tail to propel himself forward. He was gaining speed and fast.
Amagi quickly dissipated her astral form and transferred herself back into Gojira's mind.
One Day Later
Gojira slowly rose his upper body out of the water and looked at the scene before him. It was an island with what appeared to be remnants of an abandoned city. However, what had the king's attention was the massive crater in the middle of the island with gallons of sea water pouring in almost endless waterfalls. There were traces of purple lightning and energy dancing around the inside of the crater.
Amagi appeared on top of Gojira's head and gasped in horror at what she saw. "What could cause this kind of destruction?"
Gojira let out a menacing growl as a snarl appeared on his face. He was enraged by what he saw and what he was sensing. This was a new weapon obviously designed by the Sirens. He could tell by the kind of energy that was left in the aftermath. He could also sense more of the energy in the distance. There was no doubt that they had more of this weapon.
The Sirens had now revealed they are a threat to the balance. He could care less about them going to war with humanity, but this is where he drew the line. If they were going to threaten the whole planet with more of these weapons, then he will punish them severely.
Amagi immediately read through the emotions she sensed from Gojira's mind. She knew what his intentions were and decided to return back into his mind when he started moving.
Gojira swung his tail through the water and towards the crater, forcing it to collapse and finally fill itself in with the island remains and water. He then turned around and dove headfirst into the water and began swimming at top speed. The beast had one direction in mind: the source of the energy he was sensing.
Meanwhile
There was a massive naval battle taking place out in the open ocean of the Pacific. In middle of the chaos was the largest ship of any of the fleets. It looked to be a hybrid of a battleship and aircraft carrier. Its hull was long with the bow having a serpentine head design. At the stern of the ship in an 'A' shape was a pair of air strips with multiple aircraft taking off. The middle of the ship housed two large cannons with a row of anti-air guns on each side of the rear most cannon. In front of the two large cannons were two small triple barreled cannons. At the stern just behind, the bridge, were three medium triple barreled cannons arranged in a triangular formation and surrounded by anti-air guns. The ship's armored hull was colored in a dark grey and had lines of red lights shining bright. This was the Sirens' newest ship, Orochi. She was escorted by much smaller Siren ships, destroyers more specifically. Several humanoid battleship Sirens floated above them in the air.
On Orochi's starboard side, her fleet was being attacked by a Crimson Axis fleet. They consisted of mostly Iron Blood and Sakura Empire kansen. On Orochi's port side, she was being attacked by a fleet from Azur Lane. They were mostly Eagle Union and Royal Navy kansen. Although Azur Lane and Crimson Axis had been at war with each other, they had to put their differences aside to face the bigger Siren threat.
The odds didn't seem to be in the kansens' favor though, as Orochi summoned more destroyers to aid in the battle. The humanoid form of Orochi smiled darkly as she watched the ship girls' struggle. She looked like an exact copy of Amagi, wearing the same clothing and the same kitsune features. "You see, Akagi, this is the power you desired."
The aforementioned kitsune kansen was standing just a few feet away from Orochi. Akagi had a similar dark smile. "Yes, Dear Sister Amagi, it's the power to wage a war against those who challenge my love."
Suddenly, the water began rumbling. Behind the Azur Lane fleet, what appeared to be an Eagle Union carrier burst from the surface nose up and splashed down. On its deck stood a woman with silver hair and purple eyes dressed in a white uniform top with a black coat, a naval captain's hat, black short skirt, thigh high stockings, and knee-high boots. This was the Eagle Union's most famous carrier kansen, USS Enterprise.
Enterprise launched several fighters and bombers before transforming her ship into her rigging. A smaller version of her carrier deck formed at her side while the bridge transformed into her signature bow. She stood atop the water's surface as she launched more bombers from her deck.
"Welcome back, Miss Enterprise."
Enterprise was approached by a kansen with similar hair and eye color but dressed in maid outfit. Her rigging was attached to her back and consisted of several triple barreled cannons and a single rack of torpedoes. She wore a pair of gauntlets that had double barreled cannons attached to the top of her hands.
Enterprise acknowledged the maid's presence with a nod. "Belfast, I'm gonna need some cover while I get close to the Orochi."
Belfast smiled and prepared her cannons. "Consider it done, Grey Ghost."
The pair sped towards the battle. Belfast shot down any Siren jet that tried targeting Enterprise and drew the attention of the destroyers to herself. Enterprise knocked an arrow made of golden light and pulled the bow string back. She aimed straight at Orochi. She released the string, and the arrow flew true to her aim. It pierced through the invisible shield protecting Orochi and into the hull, causing an explosion.
Enterprise sped up and jumped onto the deck of Orochi. She looked around for Akagi or the humanoid form of Orochi. "I won't let you hurt her, Grey Ghost!"
Enterprise turned to the source of the voice and quickly brought her deck up to shield herself from what looked like three red flaming planes made of paper. When she lowered her deck, she saw Akagi standing in front of her and readying more of her flaming planes. Orochi was standing a short distance behind Akagi.
Enterprise drew her bow string back with three arrows knocked and stared Akagi down with determination. "Can't you see? The Sirens and her are the real threats here!"
Akagi's glare intensified along with her flames. "I don't care! Nothing can defeat my love!"
The two kansen prepared to launch their respective attacks but were interrupted by dozens of explosions impacting Orochi's shield and obliterating the remains of the Siren destroyers. They looked for the source of the commotion and Enterprise smirked.
"Looks like our reinforcements arrived."
On the horizon was a massive, allied fleet of Azur Lane and Crimson Axis with two battleships leading the charge. One was a short blonde lady with attire signifying royalty complete with a crown. This was HMS Queen Elizabeth, lead flagship of the Royal Navy. The other was a short kitsune with long black hair and black fox fur wearing a red and white Japanese style dress. This was IJN Nagato, lead flagship of the Sakura Empire.
Q. Elizabeth smirked. "It's time to party."
Nagato summoned her rigging onto herself. "All units, open fire!"
All of the kansen in the combined fleet summoned their riggings and surged forward as they let loose all of their weapons onto Orochi. The protective barrier began to falter under the immense firepower. Enterprise turned to Akagi and Orochi.
"It's over now, surrender Akagi. It doesn't have to end any other way."
"Not so fast, Enterprise."
Enterprise looked up toward the voice. Floating above them was a humanoid Siren. She had pale skin, glowing yellow eyes, and long white hair. She wore a black dress, black bikini bottom, and a black hairband that looked more like tall fox ears. Her rigging was made up of multiple long tentacles and eight long cannon barrels.
The Siren looked to Orochi with a smile. "Care for more reinforcements."
Orochi smiled back. "If you are willing to, Observer."
Enterprise drew her bow once more but aimed at Observer. "I'm not going to let that happen!"
Observer laughed maniacally. "Oh, but Enterprise, you're going to love what we have in store for you and your friends."
Suddenly multiple purple portals opened up around the Orochi with the biggest portal being next to the Orochi. A mix of Siren destroyers and cruisers emerged from the smaller portals. A massive ship slowly emerged from the large portal. The ship had the same design as Orochi but with a slight difference. Instead of a serpentine head, the bow was shaped like a dragon's head with three rows of jagged spikes running down the spine. The eyes of the head had a menacing orange glow. Standing on top of one the large cannons was the humanoid form of the ship. She had the same Siren pale skin, long white hair, and glowing orange eyes. She wore a black and silver kimono. Her expression was a dark smile that revealed her sharpened canines.
Enterprise looked on in shock and horror. She looked up at Observer who still held the same smug smile.
"I'd like to introduce to you the sister ship to the Orochi, who is also named after one of Sakura Empire's ancient gods like Orochi. Please say hello to the God of Destruction, Gojira."
Meanwhile, Belfast was standing with five other kansen. "This can't be, there's two of them now."
Prinz Eugen, an Iron Blood cruiser, moved next to the maid. "It seems the Sirens don't intend on giving up so easily."
Admiral Hipper, Eugen's elder sister and name ship of their class, chimed in. "And it certainly doesn't look like they're going to let us retreat either."
Eugen's expression intensified. "If this really is the end then at least we'll go down fighting."
"Damn those Sirens, they're clearly mocking our old gods. That second Orochi class has features similar to what the God of Destruction is described as."
The Sakura carrier, Shoukaku, stepped up. "They just keep spitting in our faces."
Zuikaku, another carrier and Shoukaku's sister, placed a hand on her shoulder. "And we'll make them pay."
Kaga was the last kansen with the group. She held her head down in shame. "Akagi and I caused all this. We were only trying to protect the Sakura Empire, but we only caused the world's destruction."
"Yes, you did Kaga, and how fitting is it that your Sakura Empire will be destroyed by the very gods you worshipped. Hahaha!"
Another humanoid Siren descended from above, this was Tester. Her rigging looked like a manta ray with cannon barrels extending from the front of its fins. She had a smug smile on her face.
All of the kansen in the group, except for Kaga, readied their weapons. Zuikaku let out a frustrated grunt. "Damn you Sirens, we'll make you pay."
Tester laughed again. "You think you can win still?"
Tester began charging her weapons as more humanoid Sirens joined her. They were ready to end the five kansen.
Back with Orochi, Enterprise was in a bad position. She was surrounded by Observer, Akagi, and the humanoid form of Orochi.
The humanoid form of the Gojira ship jumped from her hull onto the deck of Orochi, surprising Enterprise with the feat. "So, this is the famous Grey Ghost. I'm not impressed.
Orochi stepped next to the Gojira. "Nice of you to join us, sister."
The Gojira smirked and summoned blue flames in her hands. "So, mind if I take this one from you."
Orochi looked at Enterprise with a dark smile. "She's all yours."
Enterprise didn't have time to react when she received a blue flame covered punch that sent her rolling across the deck. She coughed a bit as she grabbed her bow and slowly stood up, still a bit dazed.
The Gojira slowly strode to the carrier. "Come on now, Grey Ghost, aren't you supposed to be the best of the Eagle Union."
Enterprise prepared to fire a few arrows but was stopped by another flaming punch to the gut. The air was knocked out of her, and she coughed a bit. She swung, trying to use her bow in melee, but it was dodged. She received a kick that sent her back first into a wall.
The Gojira walked up to the dazed Enterprise and grabbed her by the throat with one hand against the wall. She then readied a flame covered fist. "Such a disappointment, I'm going to end this now."
"STOP RIGHT THERE!"
The Gojira turned her head in surprise, as did the others present on Orochi's deck. Standing at the edge of the deck was Amagi. "You Sirens have threatened our world for the last time."
Akagi couldn't believe what she was seeing. She quickly ran to her older sister. "Sister Amagi! How is th-!"
Amagi held her hand up to stop Akagi from getting closer. "Not yet Akagi. I'll come to you later."
Observer had look of curiosity. "How are you alive? You died years ago."
Amagi ignored the question as she stared down her double and the 'Gojira'. "You are nothing more than poorly made copies."
Orochi glared as 'Gojira' tossed Enterprise at Amagi's feet. "What do you mean by that?"
Observer laughed as she fully descended onto the deck. "What can a single ship do to turn the tide of this battle?"
Amagi smirked. "Who said I came alone?"
Observer's expression changed to one of surprise. "What are talking about?"
Amagi gained an intense expression. "You see Siren, this world never belonged to humanity in the first place, and it will never belong to you. After I died, I was given another chance at life, and I learned the truth of who really ruled it."
Akagi looked confused as she took a step closer. "Sister, what do you mean by another chance?"
Amagi continued. "I met one of our Sakura gods who graciously fixed my broken cube and bound me to another. The one I'm bound to is the very same god you tried to imitate with that cheap copy. He is near and he will show you Sirens no mercy."
Observer simply laughed. "You expect us to believe such a tale."
Amagi smirked as she helped Enterprise up and looked to Akagi. "Dear Sister, we shouldn't stay on this ship any longer."
The Gojira prepared her fire. "I'm not letting you go anywhere after calling me a cheap c-what the!?"
The Gojira stopped as she felt the sensors on her ship going off. Orochi felt the same thing with her sensors. Observer took notice of their confusion. "What's going?"
Gojira put two fingers on the side of her head to help focus on the sensor readings. "I'm detecting something, it's big and moving fast."
During the momentary distraction, Amagi, who was helping Enterprise stand up, and Akagi took the opportunity to jump off the ship and quickly sped towards the allied fleet.
Enterprise looked to Amagi. "What exactly is coming?"
Amagi smiled in response. "Don't worry, he wants nothing more than to stop the Sirens."
Akagi moved closer to them. "Who is 'he, sister?"
Amagi looked to her. "The true God of the Sea and Destruction, Gojira."
Both Akagi and Enterprise looked to her in shock.
"Sister! Wait, Amagi!"
The trio looked and saw Kaga along with Shoukaku, Zuikaku, Prinz Eugen, Admiral Hipper, and Belfast. The group took the opportunity to group up with them as they noticed all the Sirens slowly started diverting their attention elsewhere.
Amagi looked to the group joining them. "It's a long story, but we don't have time right now, Sister Kaga. We all need to regroup with the rest of the Azur Lane fleet.
Shoukaku caught up with Amagi. "Why? What's going on?"
Amagi was starting to get annoyed with the constant questions but kept her confident smile. "One of our true gods is coming."
The others all looked confused but didn't press further as they kept moving. They did not want to stay surrounded by Sirens.
They finally reached the allied fleet who were still locked in combat with Sirens and their aircraft. They were noticed by the Eagle Union cruiser, Cleveland. "Hey girls! Look, they're back!"
Nagato looked and was shocked when she took notice of Amagi. "Amagi? Is that really you?"
Amagi nodded with a smile. "It's been a while, Nagato."
"Big Sis!"
They looked over and saw Enterprise's younger sister, Hornet, speeding towards them. She looked worried when she saw how hurt Enterprise was. Said carrier waved Hornet off and let go of Amagi in attempt to stand up on her own. "I'll be fine, I've had worse."
Belfast saw through the bravado as she came from the side to catch Enterprise when she started falling over. "Don't worry Miss Enterprise, I've got you."
The Royal Navy battleship, Prince of Wales, along with the Royal carrier, Illustrious, joined the group as the constant cannon fire continued. Wales had a serious expression on her face. "We're severely outgunned and outnumbered. At this rate, we'll run out of ammo and become easier targets."
"EEOOOONK!"
The sudden loud noise caused every single ship in the area to cease fire and look around in confusion. Cleveland was the one that asked what was on all of their minds. "What the hell was that?"
Amagi smiled, for she knew what the sound meant. "He's here."
With the exception of Akagi and Enterprise, everyone close enough to hear Amagi looked confused by what she said. And then suddenly, Helena, an Eagle Union cruiser, raced towards the group with a panicked. "I'm picking something up on my radar! Whatever it is, it's big and approaching extremely fast! Faster than any ship on record!"
Nagato looked to Amagi. "You said 'he's here'. What did you mean by that?"
Amagi's expression looked determined as she looked out to the open ocean. "The God of Destruction and King of Monsters, Gojira, has awakened, and he has declared the Sirens a threat to his rule."
Back with the Orochi, Tester had flown over to Observer. "What's going and what was that noise?"
Observer had, for the first time that day, a look of concern. "Something that may be a possible threat to us and an unexpected variable."
The 'Gojira' had jumped back onto her ship to prepare for whatever was coming. Orochi also prepared her ship. Observer looked out to the open ocean behind the Azur Lane fleet and directed every mass-produced Siren ship to aim their weapons in that area. All the humanoid Sirens around them did the same.
Back with the Azur Lane fleet, everybody was staring out in the ocean behind them, weapons ready in case they were threatened. The atmosphere was tense with anticipation and worry.
Z23, an Iron Blood destroyer, joined Prinz Eugen and Hipper. "Whatever is coming can't be that good if even the Sirens are on edge."
Hipper nodded in agreement. "I concur, we don't know what it could be capable of."
Eugen had a neutral expression. "Let's just hope this god of the Sakura Empire doesn't view us as threats either.
Suddenly, three rows of bone white jagged spikes sliced through the water's surface at incredible speed, and they were heading straight towards everyone. Amagi took notice of their predicament and quickly warned everyone. "Attention everyone, we need to move out of the way and clear a path! Gojira does not care who or what is in his path! He will go through it without hesitation!"
Nagato understood what that meant, being familiar with the ancient tales, she gave an order. "You heard her! Now move!"
The entirety of the Azur Lane fleet split in two as they all moved aside to clear a path for the coming beast. They did not dare want to challenge whatever it was, for they did not know what power it possessed.
Back with the Sirens, they saw the incoming threat and did not hesitate to open fire with everything they had. Fighters fired missiles, bombers dropped their payload, and every ship fired their cannons and torpedoes.
Dozens of explosions covered the beast in a smokescreen. However, the beast kept going with no sign of slowing down and no visible damage. This revelation shocked Observer and Tester as they watched the all-out assault on the creature.
The girls of Azur Lane just watched in awe and fear. It shocked them seeing something shrug off the immense firepower of an entire Siren fleet. The young Unicorn, a Royal Navy carrier and Illustrious's protege, flew down and hid behind her said mentor in fear. Many of other the young ships clung to each other in fear of what they were seeing.
Amagi held a neutral expression as Akagi and Kaga chose to stay by her side. She almost felt a little sorry for what was about happen to the Sirens. However, they were getting what has been long overdue for the terror they have wrought upon humanity and the deaths of several kansen in the war.
The beast finally reached the Siren fleet. However, instead of stopping at the first ship it came upon, it kept going. Its rows of spikes sliced through any Siren destroyer and cruiser in its path, leaving behind a trail of smoking wreckage and oil. The path of the creature was clear. It wanted to deal with the two Orochi class ships.
The creature stopped once it was in front of the Orochi. Then a long tail rose out the water and slammed down on top of another mass-produced Siren ship. Then the creature slowly rose out the water. Gallons of sea water slid off the hide of the creature. Massive waves were kicked up from the amount of mass rising from the sea. Finally, everyone could see the full upper half of the titan as it towered over the two biggest ships there. It raised its head to the sky as it let loose a deafening roar that could be heard for miles.
"SKREEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOONNNGK!"
The King has announced his return. Gojira is awake and he is extremely angry. He snarled as he looked down at the humanoid forms of the two ships before him. They were the sources of energy he was sensing. They were supposed to be him and the creature he knew as Orochi. Such pitiful attempts at imitating them. He was going to show them the power of the real thing.
Suddenly, Gojira was bombarded from behind from Siren aircraft and humanoid Siren cannon fire. The explosions did nothing and the lasers only lightly stung. No visible damage was being done. He just became more annoyed at the flying pests.
Gojira turned around and growled. His spines started glowing blue and were steadily getting brighter. A low hum could be heard, and it was steadily getting louder. The same glow appeared in his mouth. His jaws opened and a blue beam burst forth that vaporized several fighters that flew in its path. Gojira turned his head, aiming the beam at more targets, atomizing any unfortunate Siren aircraft and humanoid alike. He then aimed it down towards the remaining mass-produced ships. Each ship struck by the beam exploded and was turned into molten mounds of scrap. The oil in the water ignited, creating a sea of flames that surrounded Gojira.
The King canceled out his signature atomic breath and blue smoke flowed out of the corners of his mouth. He let out a triumphant roar as he slowly turned back to face the Orochi class ships. Observer and Tester had, for the first time, looks of fear as they gazed into the eyes of Gojira. His rage was signified by the light of the fire reflecting off his eyes, making them appear to be glowing.
The kansen of Azur Lane were struck with awe and fear at how easily Gojira had destroyed almost the entirety of the Siren fleet and shrugged off their combined assault. Nagato had slowly gathered many of her fellow Sakura ships together. "The legends were true. Gojira truly is the mightiest of the gods. Sakura Empire, please join me in a prayer so that we do not incur his wrath."
The Sakura ships all joined Nagato in a quiet prayer, bowing their heads and clasping their hands together. Many of the kansen from the other factions looked in confusion of their prayer.
Amagi, Akagi, and Kaga were the only Sakura ships that did not join the prayer. Amagi knew that Gojira did not care for prayers and more than likely didn't even know what a prayer was. Akagi moved closer to her older sister. "Dear Sister Amagi, does Gojira know of mine and Kaga's mistakes?"
Kaga moved closer to Amagi as well, wanting to hear the answer. Amagi shook her head. "Fortunately, not. If he did, I doubt I would be able to convince him to spare you. The only reason he is here is because of the Sirens using that devastating weapon. He can sense the energy of the Sirens and fully intends on destroying them all along with their technology."
Akagi and Kaga both looked to each other with concerned expressions after Amagi spoke that last sentence. They knew many higher ups within the Sakura Empire and Iron Blood along with a few other factions wanted to study and use Siren technology. That meant conflict with Gojira is certainly unavoidable.
They could not dwell on the future for much longer, however. Gojira let out a roar as he swung his right hand towards Orochi. The protective barrier still surrounding the carrier battleship held the hand back barely. The humanoid Orochi had a look of concern and fear, for her barrier would not be able to withstand another hit.
"SKREEEEOOONGK!"
Gojira roared in rage and slammed both arms down on the barrier flashed before dissipating. When he locked eyes with the humanoid form, he questioned why Amagi was there before realizing that it was the copy of her she told him about telepathically. Orochi screamed in defiance and fired all of her cannons, including the anti-air guns, at him. Gojira snarled and fired his atomic breath into the middle of the ship, directly where Orochi was standing. The beam caused a chain reaction of explosions and the hull split in two.
Gojira closed his jaw, once again stopping his beam. The remains of the Orochi slowly began to sink. Gojira his head to the ship that angered him the most with its very existence. The one the Sirens created to be a mimic of him. He looked the ship up and down. The only thing the beast saw that could barely pass as looking similar to himself was the head of the bow.
Gojira then looked to the humanoid standing atop one of the cannons. He snarled, not even the humanoid form held any resemblance to him except for the eye color.
The humanoid 'Gojira' snarled back in defiance and summoned blue flames in her hands. "If you really are Gojira, then prove it, I will not bow to you!"
Gojira snorted. The copy had the audacity to challenge him. She even tried copying his power. He almost respected the bravery of this false mimic. And if she wanted to mimic his atomic breath too, then he would show her the real thing once more. His spines flashed blue, and his jaws opened. The beam struck the bow and was slowly aimed all the way down to the bridge, causing explosions along the way.
The 'Gojira' was reduced to a sinking mass of molten scrap metal. Gojira let loose another roar of triumph.
"SKREEEEEEEEEOOOOOONGK!"
After his roar, Gojira sensed that there was still a Siren presence in the area and looked up. He growled upon noticing Observer and Tester watching from above. They recoiled in fear when his attention turned to them.
Amagi took notice of the last two Sirens in the area and decided to take the opportunity to make things official. "HEAR THIS SIRENS! CONSIDER THIS GOJIRA'S DECLARATION OF WAR!"
Tester didn't take her eyes off the monster as she questioned Observer. "Well, what do we do now?"
Observer's expression turned neutral. "We leave for now and report this unexpected variable to the Arbiter."
Two portals opened up behind the Sirens and they slowly backed into them. The portals closed soon after. Gojira let out a short roar in anger and turned around. He began looking through the wreckage of the Siren fleet, making sure none had survived.
All of the kansen did not lose the tension in their bodies and kept their riggings ready. They were terrified that Gojira would turn to destroy them as well. However, they knew one thing for sure, the war against the Sirens was going to change.
