"Right I'm heading out." Ava calls out, adjusting the strap of her duffle bag around her arm as she makes her way towards the door in death manor.
"To Italy right?" Kid calls out as she turns to her son standing before a portrait of some sort adjusting it while Liz is knelt down in the living room, looking over her nails while Patty is playing with some blocks. Death on the other hand is reading a book of some sort.
"Yep. Someone's got to supervise Maka and Soul." Sighing, Ava reveals.

"Yep. Someone's got to supervise Maka and Soul." Sighing, Ava reveals.
"I'm surprised Spirit didn't intervene." Death points out on the sofa, lowering his book briefly.
"Well…" Ava trails off glancing to the side.
All Ava had wanted was to do some paperwork since Stein took the role as teacher she had to handle the paperwork of it since a certain mad scientist was too busy dissecting an endangered species, which now she has to try and make up for. She scowls, feeling her eye twitch she just wanted to be alone but nope. She couldn't be alone. Tiredly, she turns on her wheely chair in her office, her gold glancing over at the framed photo of a younger her smiling, her hands around the baby bundle in her grasp, feeling her eyes soften. Her still silence of peace however is swiftly stopped by the wails of a certain ghostly ghoul, that being Spirit rushing in, raring, roaring, raging.
"What do you mean you were assigned my Maka!?" Shouting, Spirit screams, tears in his eyes crying his heart out.
"I was assigned to watch over your daughter's work yes." Aloofly, Ava nods her head confirming it.
"Why you? You're Lord Death's scythe you can't just go running off he wouldn't like that. Let me take your place!" Pleadingly, Spirit sobs, begging beseeching her, falling flat to his knees, clinging to her side as she scowls down at him.
"So you can bother your daughter's work or so you can swoon over some Italian chicks?" Curious, Ava asks as she tries to pry him off her.
"That's not all I would do." Whining, Spirit whimpers.
"Oh yeah you're right I forgot going to the Italian hosts clubs." Amused, Ava places her hands flat on her knee, kneeling down to stare down at Spirit stuck to her leg.
"No I….wait you think they have some?" Spirit asks hopefully.
"And that is why you're not going." Ava states leaning down gently patty Spirit's head.
"Cooome on!" Spirit cries out in anguish pained.
"Right…" Death sweatdrops from the tale told.
"Is there anything you guys want from Italy?" Curious, Ava asks the others.
"Some clothes." Liz shrugs.
"I'm not buying you clothes Liz." Tiredly, Ava sighs at her.
"Why not? Italy is known for its fashion." Liz whines, leaning back on the sofa.
"And that's expensive." Firmly, Ava states placing her hand on her hips.
"Pasta…" Patty squeals.
"Um…right. I'll bring back something. Kid, you want anything?" Ava sighs before turning to her son.
"Not really thank you for the offer, however." Thankful, Kid tells her focusing on the portrait before him.
"Right then I'm heading out." Ava announces as she leans over, placing her hand flat on the sofa top, leaning over pecking her husband's skeletal mask.
"You're not going to ask what I want?" Death perks up at the touch turning to look up at Ava.
"Alright what do you want?" Ava asks him.
"I'd like my wife to come back in one peace." Smoothly, Death exclaims making Ava frown, feeling a wave of ruby red wash over her as she slams her hand down on her face, steam spewing out of her head, flaring fiery crimson, glaring at his smooth stunt.
"You…you've been wanting to use that line haven't you?" Annoyed, Ava grumbles glaring playfully at Death who chuckles.
"Maaaybe…" Playfully, he draws out nuzzling into her cheek making her grumble at the baboon.
"Ass. I'll be back tomorrow or something." Sighing, Ava assures him as she pecks his mask once more making him wrap his arms around her. Gently, Ava removes herself from him then turns towards the door.
"Be sure to call me when you get to the airport." Death calls out to her.
"Yeah, yeah. Be careful alright?" Ava sighs placing her hand on Death's shoulder.
"I always am." Death assures her following after her as he opens the door for her, making her smile as the two lean in, making the three teens turn away revolted only knowing when the coast is clear when hearing the click of the door.
"You know Lord Death I'm surprised you're okay with letting Ava go." Honestly, Liz confesses to him.
"I trust her." Lord Death shrugs stating the fact of the matter.
"I mean sure but Italy is like the city of love or something." Liz points out as Death takes a seat on the sofa.
"That's France." Kid corrects her.
"You know what I mean." Liz huffs playfully glaring at Kid returning his focus to straightening the portrait.
"Liz as much as I appreciate the worry, I have faith in Ava she isn't the sort of cheat." Resolute, Lord Death assures her.
"The fact that you think she would just shows how much you don't know about my mother." Kid scowls at Liz.
"That isn't what I mean. I mean she's your death scythe for you to let her go so easily." Liz sighs slumping her shoulders. Liz has dirty blonde hair that reaches her mid-back, dark blue eyes, and slightly sun-kissed skin.
"My wife has a life of her own besides she can take of herself." Death says to her.
"Well if she is the wife of death she must be able to hold her own." Fairly Patty points out.
"Oh, she can. I promise you that. Besides she volunteered how could I say no to that face?" Joyfully, Death declares, his voice turning light-hearted making the others sweatdrop.
"…Right. " The three teens sweatdrop sighing at the animated antics of Lord Death…
"Right you two okay to split up?" Smiling, Ava questions the two as they stand before Italy, feeling the ice-cool air of the night sky of Italy brush against them. She smiles at the two students she is looking out for.
"Yes mam." Maka nods her head eagerly. Maka has light taupe hair which she keeps in pigtails. She wears a white blouse with a yellow sweater vest, a green striped tie, a red plaid skirt, and black boots with white buckles. She wears white gloves. On top of her attire, Maka also wears a trench coat with a cloak-like end.
"You can count on us." Soul assures her. On the other hand, has white hair swept to one side and red eyes. Soul wears a yellow and black jacket with buttons going down the front. Around his head is a prominent sweatband that has a sticker with his name on it and a circular logo featuring a red-lipped mouth bearing pointed fangs surrounded with the letters 'E-A-T.' He wears a pair of maroon pants, and yellow and black sneakers with a pattern on the soles resembling his teeth.
"Just be careful with your fuel Soul, the school is paying for only so much okay?" Frowning, Ava places her hand on her hip.
"Yes mam." Soul nods his head.
"And Maka if you get into issues with translation remember to use that book I gave you, the I don't speak Italian line always tends to help." Gently, she reminds Maka, sure they had language lessons to help them if they ever went abroad. But sometimes one slip of the tongue can cause quite the stir whether that be by accident proposing to someone, threatening someone or even straight out insulting someone, she always liked to be prepared.
"You got it!" Maka nods giving Ava a thumbs up.
"Good if anything comes up phone me alright?" Ava reminds the two taking out her phone.
"Yes miss Ava." Maka agrees hands behind back.
"Alright, I'll see you back at the hotel by 10 then?" She tells the two.
"Right!" Together, the two chorus as Maka gets on Soul's bike and the two head off to gather for info.
Right then…what should I get kid he said he wanted a symmetrical art book? Maybe I can get an art book on symmetry but where would I even find one? Eh maybe in the shops or the galleries. I don't know about that I mean I can't just go off I'm trying to find the demon sword after all. Ava reminds herself sighing shaking her head ignoring the lingering thoughts of her family of getting them some trinkets, their safety being her top priority as she makes her way through Italy…
"Still nothing this is getting ridiculous." Annoyed, Ava furrows her brow at her lost leads, leading to nowhere, where could she find a demon sword honestly? She tried a church, still nothing not even the leads given to her helped. Where could something like the demon sword be hiding though that's what she wants to know? Sure hiding a weapon isn't that hard, not for a weapon at the least but a demon sword is made of the entity and if she knew anything of experience it was painful, agony in itself, the first time anyway. What was with people trying to improve demon weapons what they were, what she was, wasn't something to be proud of it was a curse, it was a mistake to be created thanks to her creation, tensions between witches and humans were on a all-time high.
Ava knew of the price paid for her existence, she knew of the souls lost, of the people killed, of the families, ruined by her creation and yet they still try to develop such dangerous devices why? Why do humans believe providing more power will fix things, destroying the weapons entirely would be for the best but nope, it can't be that simple, never can be never will be…Ava sighs slumping her shoulders at the tangent in her head, bringing back memories she rather not process, just wanting to get this demon sword business done with and out of the way. So she can focus on other matters.
"A little boy?" Confused, Ava furrows her brow at the sight of the child running through the streets of Italy alone, alarming her. Where were the child's parents? Scowling, she furrows her brow, feeling her blood boil, burn, bubble at the clear neglect of the child going about the city on their lonesome. She feels her fingertips curl into the plush pillow of her palm, carefully following the boy, hoping to catch up to him, ask where his parents are and swiftly return him to them. Confused, she furrows her brow when they end up in an alleyway, alarm bells ring as Ava flicks her wrist, drawing out the blade from within her, the blade being pitch black with a small pattern of some sort of wing etched into the blade.
Slowly, she makes her way into the alleyway, her yellows narrowed ready for anything within the dark depths of the alley to strike at her only to stop slightly when seeing the boy before her, standing before her, his back turned to her.
"Hey kid…you really shouldn't be here it's dangerous." Carefully, she calls out to the kid reaching out with her free hand towards the boy only to gasp as the boy turns to face her as she feels her heart drop, her blood turn ice cold when her glassy gold meeting the little boy's pair of raw red. Just as she feels her heart drop, she feels the burning searing sensation course through her body as next thing she knew, she swayed slightly, staring dumbly down at the blade impaled into her torso, feeling a gush of ruby red crawl up her throat like a geyser as she spits it out, coughing out splatters of crimson, coating the blade impaled into her…
*Oh boy...*
