When Harry Potter exited the floo, he ended up promptly on his backside. He stood up swearing to find James Potter looking amused, "You can't handle floo travel too?"

"No, I always end up on my backside", he said, "I used it until I could apparate and since then never went anywhere if I could not apparate there or take a portkey."

"Same here, son", James said, "I don't like floo if I can avoid it."

"James, introduce him to the family", said Lilly, "or are you going to chat him up by yourself without giving any time to us?"

"My mistake", said James, "So Harry you already know your mother. Now the one next to her is your second brother Charlus Potter and the one next to him is Harrison Potter and then there is your sister, Azalea Violet Potter."

Harry bent down before the girl first, "Hello Azalea, I've always wanted to have a little sister. Think we will have fun together?"

She giggled and shyly nodded, "Will you also not play with me or tell me that you are big boy now?"

Harry gasped in mock horror, "I'd never do that. Who said this to you?"

"Charlus has stopped playing with me since he started going to Hogwarts", she pouted, "he won't even play hide and seek."

"I'll play hide and seek with you", he said and then turned to one named Harrison, "Are you going to Hogwarts?"

"No, I will start this year", he said, "I hope I am in Gryffindor like my parents. I don't want to go to Ravenclaw like Charlus."

Harry's eyes widened in surprise but he concealed it, "Why does it matter? Houses are just a place to live in for 7 years and when we will get out of Hogwarts, no one will remember it."

He then turned to Charlus, "What year are you in, Charlus?"

The boy said nothing but looked at him disdainfully, "You are not my brother."

Before anyone could say anything, he stomped upstairs. James herded the others upstairs as Lilly had him sit down.

"Sorry Harry…", Lilly tried to say.

"Don't worry", Harry said, "It is natural. He was the eldest yet but now he is told that there is an elder brother. It may take some time for him to come to terms with and then there is the fact that he was being groomed as the heir of the House of Potter and now he thinks that he will lose it."

James who had come down, shrugged, "It doesn't really matter. He will get over it and the heirship always goes to the eldest."

"No, please don't take it away from him", Harry said, "It will alienate him from others."

"But what about you?", Lilly asked.

"I don't understand", Harry said, "I am not the son that was killed on Halloween then why are you being concerned so much for me?"

"You may not be the same boy but you exactly look like he would have if he was alive", she said, "And you are so much alike me and James that it is hard to think that you are not our son."

Harry smiled, "I understand but I don't want the Potter heirship. I already have another."

"WHAT!", James bellowed, "What do you mean? Did Sirius offer Black Lordship to you before I got there? Don't tell me Padfoot beat me to it."

Harry snorted, "No but I took another Lordship which I have always held. The Lord of Peverell."

"There has been no Lord of Peverell since last 1000 years", James said, "No Potter Lord had the power to wield the family magic."

Harry showed him the finger on which the Peverell ring sat, "Well, I am glad then that I can wield it."

"That will put the bee in the bonnet", Lilly said, "Revival of a Reverent House will definitely put the blood purists on a backstep."

"Blood purists?", Harry asked arching an eye brow.

"Those who are supporters of the pureblood supremacy movement", she explained, "Not that it means those who are followers of the old ways. Thousands of years of customs and traditions can't be just thrown out of the door."

"So, when is the next wizengamot meeting?", Harry asked.

"Not so fast, my young Gryffindor", said James, "there are a lot of things that are to be done before you can announce yourself."

"I have already done it", Harry said, "I have taken the ring and the goblins are completing the formalities."

"That is totally marauder thing to do", James said grinning from ear to ear, "Of course you will have to appoint a proxy but the faces of the wizengamot members will be worth seeing."

"James…" Lilly tried to scold him but Harry's attention was on something that James said, "Tell me about the Blacks."

"What about them?", James asked.

"How many of them are there?"

"Sirius became a Gryffindor in Hogwarts and his mother tried to banish him from the family. His pater familias Arcturus Orion Black took away her name and kicked her out of the family for that. Since then, Sirius and Regulus were raised by Melania Black nee Macmillan who is a pureblood but very tolerating of the world's views. Arcturus also kept Sirius's father in line and forbid his family from going in support of the pureblood movement since he believes that a Black is his own person. Sirius became a Lord of the Wizengamot and married his cousin Bellatrix Black. Her two sisters have been married into Macmillan and Rosier families."

"So, no one there is a death eater?", Harry asked in surprise.

"I didn't say that", James said, "It is widely believed that Sirius's mother Wulburga nameless who was banished from the family joined the pureblood movement and has been pioneering their cause since then. Of the few death eaters whose identity has been confirmed to us, she is certainly one of them."

"Well, this world is as different as it can be", Harry said musing aloud, "At least tell me Kreacher is there in Black townhouse."

"Yes, that old decrepit elf is alive", James said, "But what is your interest in Black Lordship and the elf?"

Harry fondly smiled, "Sirius had named me his heir before he died in Battle of Department of Mysteries. I became the Lord Black and inherited Kreacher. The elf didn't like me and we got off to a rocky start at first but later, he served me faithfully for the rest of his life."

"Is there any other reason in these questions?", James asked him.

"Yes", Harry said, "there were a few things that happened in that world and since events differ a lot here, I don't know how to go about it."

"We will find a way, later", James reassured him, "And you are here with us for now. Let me know you personally."

"Sure", he said, "ask your questions."

"Which house did you go to?"

Harry grinned, "How is that a question? Of course I was a Gryffindor."

"Do you play Quidditch?"

Harry smirked widely, "Seeker in first year, the first in over a century."

"Fi… First year? But no one can get on the team in first year", James spluttered.

"Oh, Gryffindor had no seeker that year and Professor McGonagall was able to convince Dumbledore to bend the rules for me. And I became the Quidditch captain in sixth year."

James grinned, "Oh I am so proud… Merlin's beard! Seeker in first year and Quidditch captain… that is feat indeed."

"What was your favorite subject?"

"I know you were an expert in Transfiguration and Mum was dab hand in charms but I excelled at Defense", Harry told him, "I could cast the patronus charm in my third year."

James raised his hands, "Stop! Stop! You are now giving me a complex. You mean to tell me that you could cast a patronus when you were 14 years old?"

"Yes, Professor Lupin taught me in third year."

James looked like he would faint, "I hope you aren't going to tell me that you became an animagus at 14."

Harry chuckled, "That was something that I could not get. If Sirius had been free, maybe we could have tried it but no. I didn't become an animagus in that world."

"What about… uh… other lives?"

"I am kind of forgetting things now about past lives but I remember some of them where I became an Animagus. Once I became a leopard, once a bear, once a tiger, once a fox, once a wolf and once a stag."

"And you didn't become a dog even once?", asked Sirius who was at the door of the room with a woman in tow.

Blood rushed to Harry's head and he had almost whipped out his wand when he realized that this Bellatrix had done nothing to cause agony to him. That was another Bellatrix.

"Hi Sirius", he said, "Won't you introduce me?"

"Of course!", he said, "Harry, meet my wife Bellatrix Black. Bella, this young man is Harry James Potter of another reality and there also I was his godfather so I guess I will stick with calling him godson, eh?"

Harry took her left hand in his right and bowed over it pretending to kiss her knuckles, "Charmed, Lady Black. The radiance of this world fails before your beauty. Harry James Potter at your service."

She giggled, "Ooh… what a charmer! I never thought that any one of the Potter's would have such refined manners."

"I am hurt, Aunt Bella", said Charlus, "I thought I had charmed you with my brilliance."

"Oh dear Charlus", she said sweetly, "You are a fine gentlewizard but you have some rough edges and this one is like a perfectly shaped gem."

"Now Bella", said Lilly who had come out of the kitchen, "What did I say about comparing my children?"

"I didn't intend it", she said hastily, "Please forgive me if it looked like that."

Charlus laughed, "No need to say sorry, Aunt Bella. I am still your favorite nephew, aren't I?"

"Depends on if you are going to take the Black Lordship", she said dryly.

"I am sorry for asking but why do you need someone else to take the Black Lordship", Harry asked and could see when other's breath stiffened.

Sirius hushed James who was going to admonish him, "Harry, when Bella was young, she was attacked in Diagon Alley and the attack left behind some lingering consequences. Bella can't become a mother."

"I am sorry", Harry said sadly, "I didn't know. But why can't Regulus's child become the Lord?"

"This one has a lot of questions, doesn't he?", Bella asked, "Little Harry, Regulus doesn't like women and will never marry or procreate an offspring."

"Oh", Harry said.

"Harry, will you play Hide and Seek with me and Harrison?", little Azalea asked who had come down with Harrison in tow.

"Let's play", Harry said, "But where we will hide?"

"We will have to play inside the manor", she said, "Dad will get angry if we go out without him or Uncle Sirius."

"Just don't break anything", James warned, "And don't go into Charlus's room. He doesn't like it."

Harry decided to be 'it' while Harrison and Azalea hid. After counting up to 20, he pulled out his wand and muttered 'Point me Azalea Potter".

Lilly who saw him doing magic, panicked, "Harry, you can't do magic in the house. You can be arrested for breach of the International Statute of Secrecy."

Looking around and finding that none of his 'siblings' were around, Harry grinned, "We all know how the trace works and I can't be traced for this spell."

Sirius guffawed, "That's a marauder alright. I was disappointed that Charlus hadn't caught it up by now."

"Do you know where the Marauder's map is?", Harry asked them.

"The map!", Bella said, "That infernal map exists in that reality too?"

Harry grinned, "Oh yes! It helped me a lot to get away with almost anything that I wanted but I conveniently forgot to bequeath it to my children. In that world, it was the twins who gave the map to me."

"The map was confiscated by Mr. Filch in our 6th year and since then it has not been seen", Sirius said, "I once stopped by Mr. Filch 2 years ago to see if he still had the map but it was gone."

"Ok. Now I need to find Azalea and Harrison", he said.

Azalea, he found out was hiding in the elf quarters on the top floor of the manor, Harrison was hiding the library behind a fake shelf. When it was Harrison's turn to be 'it', Harry hid under his cloak and sat in the sitting room.

It was 10 minutes later, that little Azalea came into the room, "Mom dad, Harry is gone."

"What do you mean?", Lilly asked, "The wards did not register anyone leaving the house. He will be somewhere inside."

"Not somewhere, Lillypad", said Sirius extending his hand and grabbing hold of the cloak, "little Harry is cheating."

As the cloak came undone, they exclaimed in surprise and James asked, "How did you get the cloak? I have it in safe location."

"It is my cloak", Harry said, "It came into this world with me. Yours is still where you hid it."

As Lilly picked up Azalea to take her to a nap, Harry joined the adults again.

"Is this the invisibility cloak?", Bella asked, "the same in which James once wrapped Harry and forgot where he was?"

James ducked his head in embarrassment, "How many times will you retell that story, Bella?"

"Well, this is the first time that I have told it to Harry. Think like this, he is a new person and I can tell every embarrassing story to him."

Sirius looked at her in mock-horror, "I hope you won't do that to him, Bella. Prongs did nothing to merit that treatment."

That day, Hogwarts letters arrived for the children. Charlus was going to be in his second year, Harrison was going to start his first year and Azalea was pouting that she could not go to Hogwarts yet. Another letter had arrived for Harry to grant him admittance into his fourth year at Hogwarts.

It was Potter tradition that they took their children to Diagon Alley on the day that letters arrived. When they arrived in the alley, Remus was already there.

"Where do we go first?", Remus asked.

"I want to see Percy's shop first", Harry said before anyone could voice any opinions.

"Well then Weasley's Wizard Wheezes it is", said Sirius, "But it is not much of a shop."

As it turned out, it was just a stall behind which Percy Weasley stood and showed some of their wares on the table. Harry was really disappointed with the products on display. It wasn't even half of what the twins had developed at this stage in the other world. He decided to meet them at Hogwarts and see what was causing the hold up. They purchased a few fake wands and some ton tongue toffees before taking their leave.

"Lilly", James said, "Since we have three children between us maybe you should take Harrison and Charlus to Madam Malkins and get them new trunks, dresses and books? I will take Harry here."

"Dad, why can't you take me and let Mom take Harry?", Charlus asked.

Harry had been noting that Charlus wasn't overtly warm to his coming into this world. He always acted cold towards Harry and he kind of understood where he was coming from.

"Why can't Remus & Sirius take me?", Harry asked, "That way, you can take Charlus and she can take Harrison."

James thought over it for a bit before Remus and Sirius decided it for him, "It is decided, Prongs. We will take Harry here."

James agreed and pulled out a bulging money pouch, "Here, take it. Buy whatever catches his fancy."

Sirius however returned it, "You can play the doting father later. Let his godfather do it this time."

Before Harry could protest, they steered him toward Flourish and Blotts.

Siruis said, "I know it is new for you but it is not a hard thing to do. Just stick with us, point out what you want and I'll buy it for you."

"But I don't want you to pay", Harry said, "I have money of my own."

Sirius shook his head, "Your money is no good. I will pay for your stuff."

"But…"

"Let a godfather indulge himself into doing something for his godson", Sirius chided him.

"Okay, you win", Harry said, "but this is the only time I am going to allow you to do so."

In Flourish and Blotts, Harry purchased every book that he could find on any subject under the sun that he remembered. He had decided to take Care of Magical Creatures and Runes as his electives and was going to study Arithmancy in his free time as a hobby. He also decided that when he will meet Hermione, maybe he could get her to teach him Arithmancy and appear for OWL in the subject at the ministry. He also brough a few books which made Sirius raised his eye brows in surprise but he agreed to not to tell anything to Prongs and Lilly.

From there they went to Madam Malkin's. As they entered, Harry almost ran into a blonde boy who was coming out of the shop.

"Watch where you are going", the boy snapped and Harry looked up in surprise.

Finally someone that he could recognize and someone who apparently hadn't changed a bit in this world.

He looked up to look into the blond, pointed chin face of Draco Lucius Malfoy.

"What are you looking at?", Malfoy snapped and Harry sighed.

"I was looking at how Hippogriff dung can be stacked so high and who would bother charming it to speak", Harry said rolling his eyes.

Sirius and Remus sniggered while Malfoy looked confused, "What are you getting at?"

Harry waved him off, "Nothing. Should not have expected you to be able to understand intelligent communication."

Before Malfoy could say anything, Harry pushed him aside and entered the shop where Sirius proclaimed loudly, "Madam Malkin, your favorite customer is here. Won't you show your tender care?"

"Sirius Black", she growled, "Coming in here to cause mayhem as always?"

"Hardly Nikita", said Sirius, "I am bringing you a customer and that too a Potter no less."

"That is an interesting thought", she said looking at Harry, "You do look like a Potter with the trademark hair. Is he a relative?"

Sirius smirked, "For now, he is a relative."

"What does that mean?", she asked.

"You will know soon", he said before telling her to fit Harry with school clothes, daily clothes, shoes, boots and the other accessories. He also had her give a set of Wizengamot robes with the Peverell crest and made her swear in confidentiality.

When they left after an hour, Sirius had his stuff in a trunk which was shrunk and in his pocket. The trunk was standard Hogwarts trunk and with an extension charm and two compartments.

Harry thought that they would be going to the Leaky Cauldron to meet the Potters but Sirius drove him inside Quality Quidditch Supplies.

"Sirius what are we going to do in there?", Harry asked.

"Well, I see that you still need a broom", Sirius said, "And of course I won't let Prongs buy that for you. Just get on the school team and make me proud, all right?"

When they went inside, there on the display case was his trusted broom 'the Firebolt'.

Harry looked at it with longing and heard Sirius talking to the shop keeper, "How much for a firebolt?"

The shopkeeper said snidely, "Ask only if you can buy it."

Sirius snapped, "Open your eyes, you fool before I'll open it for you. You presume to tell the Lord of Black that he can't buy a measly broom?"

The shopkeeper snapped to attention, "Lord Black! My apologies. That broom is only 100 Galleons."

"I will take three of them", Sirius said, "Have them owl delivered to Potter Manor, Wiltshire".

"Of course, Lord Black", he said, "How would you like to pay for it?"

Sirius pulled out a sack and threw it on the counter contemptuously, "it will have a handful of Galleons more than what you have asked. Keep the spare."

As they turned, Harry heard a sneering voice which had always grated on his nerves, "Well! Well! Well! Sirius Black causing ruckus as always. I still wonder how they made you a senior Auror."

Sirius turned to Malfoy and snarled, "You will find out why they made me Senior Auror if you don't shut your festering hole, Malfoy."

Before things could escalate, Remus steered Sirius out of the shop, "Really Padfoot? Did you have to pull your wand on him?"

"He was Lucius Malfoy, right? Father of the boy we met earlier?", Harry asked.

"Yeah", Sirius said, "You know them?"

"In that world, Lucius Malfoy was married to Narcissa Malfoy nee Black and they had a son, Draco", Harry said.

"Well, in this world, Lucius married Guinevere Parkinson and he has twins", Sirius explained, "And he is a member of the Wizengamot though he holds a ministry nominated seat which we suspect he got through a lot of bribes."

They were passing Eyelops Owl Emporium when something caught Harry's eye.

"Sirius, can I meet you guys in ten minutes at Florean's?", Harry asked, "I need to rush into Eyelops."

"You want a pet?", Sirius asked, "But the Manor has an entire parliament of owls and a litter of cats."

Harry turned to them grinning, "Well there would be none like this. I will meet you guys in 10 minutes at Florean's."

Harry entered the shop and suddenly the ruckus made by the owls intensified. Harry walked past cages to reach a cage which was stowed in a corner and looked at the owl in there. His breath was caught in his throat at he looked at the owl inside. The owl was of the colour of snow and it had amber eyes. It was his first friend. It was Hedwig. Harry shivered with joy on seeing his first friend.

"Stay away from that one", called the proprietor, "That one is not in the right mind. Pecks at all customers and no one is ready to buy her. It's a shame really because snowy owls are in great demand."

Harry approached him, "How much will you take for it?"

"If you promise to not to return seeking refund if you don't like it then 10 Galleons", the shopkeeper said, "And I will throw in the cage for another 2 Galleons."

Harry gave him 10 Galleons and approached the cage opening it. He raised his hand and called her, "Hedwig! It's me Harry. Come to me! Come!"

Hedwig came out of the cage and sat on his arm, looked into his eyes and barked, "Prek!"

Harry laughed, "It is nice to see you too, Hedwig."

She nibbled in his ear and then hid her head under her wings and went to sleep.

"How did you manage to tame it?", someone asked and he turned around to see a strawberry blonde girl standing there. He perhaps should have remembered her but he couldn't. Shrugging at the thought, he turned to her, "I don't have to. We are friends since forever."

"I have seen that owl here since last two years", the girl explained, "But I never saw her react that way to anyone."

Harry smiled, "Well I am special that way. By the way, can I know who I have the pleasure of speaking with?"

"Oh, where are my manners", the girl said, "I am Susan Amelia Bones."

He did the proper courtesy with her, "Heiress presumptive Bones, Harry James Potter at your service."

"Well, my brother was declared the heir a month ago, so I am not the heiress presumptive anymore", the girl said, "And I have never heard of a Harry James Potter and I know the Potters very closely. Are you a relative or something?"

"You will know it soon, I guess", Harry said, "I am pleased to make your acquaintance. Are you attending Hogwarts?"

"Yes, I am", she said, "Are you too going to attend Hogwarts?"

"Yes, I have been offered to join the fourth-year classes", he said.

"See you then, Mr. Potter", she said.

Sirius and Remus met him at Florean's where James was waiting with Harrison.

"Where are Charlus and Lilly?", he asked.

Remus and Sirius looked at him strangely but James answered, "Since the only thing left is to get wand for Harrison, I sent them ahead. We will be going once we have got Harrison a wand."

"Ollivander's then?", Harry asked.

"Yes" was the chorused reply.

Ollivander's shop looked the same as it had looked in many lives. When they entered, he came out from behind a shelf, "Good afternoon."

He then turned to James Potter, "Lord Potter, 11 inches Mahogany, pliable and a Unicorn tail hair core. How is the wand?"

James muttered, "Perfectly fine, Lord Ollivander."

He then shifted his gaze to Remus, "Remus Lupin, 10 ¼ inches, Cypress Wood, Unicorn Tail hair, an amazing wand. How is it serving you?"

Remus smiled, "It is working perfectly fine, Lord Ollivander. Saved my life quite a few times."

He then turned to Sirius, "Sirius Black, 13 inches, Aspen wand, Phoenix feather. One of the finest wands that I ever made. How is the wand?"

"It is serving me well, Lord Ollivander."

Ollivander then looked at Harrison, "Welcome master Harrison. Here for your first wand?"

Harrison nodded and Ollivander pulled a couple of wands before he pulled out one and handed it to him. The wind rushed around the little boy and he laughed in delight. Ollivander took the wand from him wrapping it in brown paper and muttering, "Apple wand with Dragon heartstring. The boy will do wonders."

"Lord Ollivander, what wonder are you talking about?", James asked.

"Applewood wands are not made in great numbers. They are powerful and best suited to an owner of high aims and ideals, as it mixes poorly with dark magic. The possessor of an apple wood wand is well lived and has a great personality charm and can often converse with other magical beings in their native environment in their tongue."

"Well Prongs", said Sirius, "I did tell you that you hit the jackpot with this one."

Ollivander was looking at Harry, "I was wondering if I will be seeing you, Mr. Potter because I know you have a wand already."

Harry's eyes widened in surprise, "Do you know me?"

Ollivander nodded, "You look like Lord Potter here and you have a wand in your sleeve."

Harry released his breath, "Yeah, I have a wand but I'd love to try a couple of your wands."

Ollivander pulled out a box and presented a wand to Harry which made him flinch, "Why do you give me this wand?"

Ollivander gave him a toothy smile, "This is the only wand which will fit you from my humble wares."

Harry hesitantly took the wand and effect was instantaneous. His magic started flaring around him as the wand let loose sparks as if it were overjoyed at meeting him at last.

"That is interesting", he dryly commented.

"What is interesting?", Sirius asked.

"This wand is made of Holly with phoenix feather as the core. The phoenix who gave the core gave only another feather."

"Who has the other wand?", James asked in fascination.

"Tom Riddle?", Harry asked causing the wand maker to have a spasm, "H… How do you know his name?"

"Dumbledore told me", Harry said, "it was his phoenix that gave the cores, isn't it?"

"You are full of mysteries, Mr. Potter", the wand maker said, "I hope I get to sit with you sometime. We can discuss things which will be beneficial to each other."

Harry had an eerie feeling that the wandmaker knew more than he was talking about and resolved to not to get too close to him if he could avoid it.

When Harry returned to the Potter Manor, Azalea and Harrison were dancing in merriment, "We are going!" We are going!"

James asked, "What happened?"

Charlus told him excitedly, "Dad, Minister sent us tickets to the final! We are going to watch the world cup final."

"Well, that's a relief", said James, "I thought I'd have to get them from the black market or something. Just the other day, Ludo was telling me that he can get me enough tickets at double price."

"The Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports offered for you to obtain tickets through illegal means and the head of the Aurors did nothing?", Lilly asked.

Sirius hushed her, "Well, it is Quidditch Lilly pad. What'd you expect?"

She rolled her eyes but decided to let it go, "I expect the children to sit at the table while I will fetch dinner for them."

She then turned to the Marauders, "And I want you all to pull your weight and help me or you will go hungry."

"I'll help", Harry offered.

"You can?", she asked in amazement.

"Yes, I learnt to cook when I was 5 years old", he said, "The muggles liked to think that I was to earn my keep if I were to live with them."

She icily said, "Sounds exactly something like Petunia would do. Why would you be to sent to her? If it were me, they would not be my first choice of guardians."

"In my world, Sirius Black was considered a traitor and was in Azkaban, Remus Lupin couldn't raise me, Peter Pettigrew was seemingly dead, grandparents on both sides of family were dead, Voldemort was vanquished and his most powerful death eaters were still at large and a threat to my safety. Dumbledore used blood magic to erect protections that protected me from the death eaters and anyone who wished me harm", Harry explained, "this way, they were the only option available."

"Oh Harry! I am…"

"Please don't be sorry. I have already told you that it was not anyone's fault. Now let's get to setting the table or we will go hungry."

Dinner was very joyous affair. James took the place of the head of the table and the seat on his left was taken by Lilly. Charlus went on to sit at the right where the first born would sit but James stopped him, "Charlus, that is your elder's brother seat."

"No, no. Charlus please remain seated", Harry said, "It is fine."

He sat between Harrison and Azalea and they started chatting him up as James and Sirius were talking, "Have you prepared the report of attack at Winchester?"

"It is in the office", Sirius told him, "There were 5 muggles killed and it is believed that death eaters led by Wulburga nameless caused the damage."

"There was an attack?", Harry asked, "Why you didn't tell me?"

"Because you are still a child", Lilly explained, "Leave the battle to grown-ups. It is for them to fight and win."

"But I can help", Harry said.

"With what? With throwing stunners at them?", Charlus asked snidely.

Harry was surprised with the venom in his voice but decided to not to give in to is anger, "Oh dear Charlus! I won't be using stunners on them, would I?"

"You will what? Kill them?"

"No. That will be too quick for them. I would decapacitate them and leave them for to be taken to prison."

"What prison will hold them?", Sirius asked, "Azkaban is rubble and the dementors serve him."

It was another of the differences between the two worlds for Harry.

"If Azkaban doesn't exist anymore then where do you imprison them?", he asked.

"We need to catch them to imprison them", James said, "We haven't caught one in years. If one is left behind in an skirmish, they usually commit suicide."

"But don't you know who they are?", Harry asked.

"No", said Sirius, "Once we caught a son of the Rosier family in one of their raids but I have since then investigated all the Rosiers myself and found that no one among them knew that their son was a death eater."

"What about their dark marks?", Harry asked, "You can catch them by the dark mark."

"What is a dark mark?", Remus asked.

"In that world, Tom Riddle gave a mark to all his followers which was imbued with the protean charm and also worked as a portkey. That mark could be used to summon his followers to his side."

"We have found no such mark here", Remus explained, "And I have looked at many of them."

"I have never asked but what is your job?", Harry asked.

"I work as the Steward for House of Potter and Black", he explained, "Prongs and Padfoot doesn't have the time or patience to deal with their inherited offices and their businesses. It falls upon me to manage them."

"Then how can you look at Death eaters?", Harry asked.

"Well, I am also a member of the Order of the Phoenix."

"Enough talk about the war", snapped Lilly, "it's about time that you lot go to sleep."

"Good night, everyone", said James standing from his seat, "I am meant to go to the site where they have made the stadium."

"Why?", Harry blurted.

"Dad is the head of Aurors", said Charlus in disdain, "I hoped you would know that by now."

Harry did his best imitation of a drawl like Malfoy, "Not all of us are Ravenclaws."

The Potter children had to wake up early to go to the world cup. There were also joined by Remus Lupin.

"How are we going there?", Harry asked.

"We are going to a nearby clearing from where we will take a portkey", James explained, "The ministry has placed many such portkeys in different parts of the country."

After a trek of an hour, they had reached deep inside the forest that bordered Potter Manor. In a clearing, there a mouldy old boot which was conspicuous by its presence in the clearing.

"Is that it?", Harry asked.

"Yes", said James, "That is the portkey that is meant to take us to the site."

"And have you got a tent?", he asked, "I believe everyone had to make their own accommodations."

"Well", drawled James, "Sirius has erected a camp for you lot to stay in during the day while we go and handle the event. I was supposed to be on duty even now but I had to come home to take you all there."

"Let's not tarry", said Lilly, "the portkey will be activating any moment now."

Each of them touched the portkey and as it began to glow, Harry muttered, "Wait! I don't k…"
