"Don't screw up got it pup." Ingram tells Free as they stand on top of London Tower.
"I'm not a pup I'm the big bad wolf!" Proudly, he proclaims making Ingram roll his eyes.
"…" Deadpanned, Ingram furrows his brow at him.
"What?" Innocently, Free questions.
"Trying to process how you said that with such a straight face." Frankly, Ingram answers annoyed.
"Because that's what I am." Proudly, Free proclaims.
"Sure…I'm going to check the perimeter maybe bring the children over the bridge you too stay here. Eruka." Fed up, Ingram stretches his feathered cape out as he approaches the edge but stops.
"Y-Yes." Shyly, she steps forward.
"If you even think of slipping…" Sharply, she gasps when he grabs hold of her throat, making her release a small uneasy ribbt of fear trembling in his grasp.
"H-Hey!" Free frowns at the sight of the girl whimpering writhing in his grasp.
"You know what will happen don't you?" Smugly, Ingram easily ignores him.
"Y-Yes." Scared, she whispers croaking it out, her glassy glaring into his smirking gold.
"Good girl." Mockingly, he sneers scowling at the girl before lightly slapping her cheek, releasing his hold off her as she hisses cradling her bloodied bruised cheeks, feeling the small slits formed from his nails. She notes the slight stain of ruby reed upon her fingertips.
"What's with that guy?" Free frowns watching Ingram as he dives down swiftly switching into his form, his cape consuming him as he turns into his bird form taking off guiding the children here.
"A demon…." Hoarsely, Eruka heaves out shaking.
"A demon?" Free furrows his brow.
"You really don't know who he is do you?" Stunned, Eruka frowns at him.
"Sorry no." Free frowns.
"That thing he is neither human nor kishin. He is a hollow man, he is empty, a man without a soul." Eruka wheezes out as Free notes the bruises beginning to take shape.
"What? Without…a soul?" Shocked, Free exclaims taken aback.
"He was the witches only attempt of defence. He is an aging fragment of the time before, of a bloody battle waged along ago, of a war long forgotten." Frowning, Eruka glances to the side, uncomfortable.
"I assume your gossip session about me is done." Startled, both of them flinch from his words as he swiftly returns unfazed, bored almost.
"R-Ribbit!" Eruka shuffles slightly to the side.
"They're down there. So go blow their houses down or something…" Standoffishly, Ingram waves Free off.
"Yes sir." Free frowns but complies, a part of him not liking the thought of leaving someone like him alone with Eruka.
"Blackstar in London!" Boisterously, Blackstar proclaims as they stand on the London bridge.
"It is snowing aren't you cold?" Tsubaki furrows her brow at his normal attire.
"Snow it's nothing. I would take off my jacket rather than wear one! But anyway, since you guys have been attacked by dark blade, don't slow me down, all of our practical training is together." Blackstar orders the two only to see them scowl turning away from one another.
"Isn't it boatful! You see? It's great that we're in London!" Tsubaki offers desperately trying to get the weapon and meister to talk but…
"What happened to them?" Oblivious, Blackstar furrows his brow at the sight of the two feuding.
"Hey Maka, I can't feel the soul reaction so if you can check it." Blackstar calls out wanting to change topic to get to the task at hand.
"Well…are there any bad guys on lord death's list around here…." Maka ponders as she focuses only to gasp when…
"What is he doing here on the bridge?" Blackstar turns to Free on the other side.
"His soul is not normal. Here are many things mixed up with…is he human or witch people? There are some other things in it…." Maka furrows her brow at the sight of his soul.
"So he's on Lord Death's list. We're lucky this time." Blackstar smirks.
"Be careful he'll probably use magic." Maka warns him.
"Ha looks like you're ready to hustle Tsubaki enchanted sword mode! I'll take him in a flash!" Confidently, Blackstar declares.
"Er…but we cant handle that yet…" Worried, Tsubaki argues.
"We'll take him within 30 seconds and it'd be enough!" Energetic, Blackstar declares.
"All…all right. " Tsubaki complies switching to said sword mode.
"That kid he's strong!" Free notes watching on in awe alongside Maka as the black vines wrap around Blackstar's face around his soul even Maka notes as they utter soul resonance but…
"Such a shame…" Ingram tuts.
"What is?" Erika frowns.
"Seeing such a beautiful weapon be tarnished by such unseasoned hands…it's a shame." Sighing, Ingram shakes his head as Free attempts to use ice magic but the shadow from the sword coils around it, stopping said attack as Blackstar is about to attack only to fall flat into the snow, unconscious…
"Ah…I told you…" Tsubaki shifts back to normal trying to help her drained partner.
"It didn't even take 10 seconds did it?" Meekly, Blackstar hopes.
"Though he may be strong and powerful…such an idiot!" Maka sweat drops at her friend.
"Who's next?" Free smirks at the group only to hum when next thing he knows Soul charges at him, impaling his scythe arm into Free bringing a small chuckle of amusement to Ingram's lips.
"Old man don't you relax like that. We're in the zone!" Soul snaps at him oblivious to the trap he's found himself in.
"He's got it!? No Soul run!" Maka calls out horrified when catching on.
"Well well because of my nature I tend to relax as usual…" Lazily, Free tries to talk to them.
"What!? what the heck!? What's going on!?" Stunned, Soul exclaim when removing his blade seeing the wound close up.
"Look at him! His wound is closing…he might be…" Maka exclaims.
"Yes they always close. I am one of the immortal clan." Proudly, Free reveals.
"The immortal clan?!" Tsubaki gasps.
"I read about them before…no wonder your soul is mixed up!" Maka scowls.
"I'll show you my true shape!" Roaring, Free declares to the high heavens switching to his wolf form making Ingram arch a brow bemused by the sight, hopeful to see something interesting. So these are the morons my darling sister are raising? Pathetic…Partially, Ingram furrows his brow feeling disappointment at his sister's students, a part of him tempted to just leave, maybe try out these crumpets people keeping going on about here but…
"Ready Soul? Ahh!" Amused, Ingram arches a brow by Maka's scream seeing her drop the scythe, seeing her scorched gloves.
"What the hell Maka!?" Soul in his scythe form snaps at her.
"It burned me…can't hold you…" Maka whispers shaken.
"What!?" Stunned, Soul exclaims.
"Could it be same as when Blackstar tried to hold Soul? He couldn't hold soul…? Their soul saves don't match!" Tsubaki recalls.
Amused, Ingram smirks as he sits down, leaning over eager to see more while the foolish frog witch watches alongside him as the battle continue on, curious to see the limits of his sweet sister's students.
"Maka would you use me if you couldn't use Soul?" Tsubaki offers furrowing her brow.
"Even if I try to become a black technician now I cannot defeat that wolf guy." Maka argues.
"Its better not to try to defeat him now. Let's handle this situation first." Firmly, Tsubaki reasons.
"I'll help too." Soul shifts his arm into a scythe.
"Then we must fight ready Tsubaki? Soul?" Maka turns to the two.
"Yeah!" Tsubaki nods her head as she turns into a scythe blade of a chain sickle.
"Maka!" Soul cries out as she swings herself using the chain kicking the wolf in the face only to cry out when the wolf slams his foot to the ground creating a ball of iron, smashing it into Maka's side.
"Soul!" Maka cries out as she comes crashing down to the ground, ruby red gushing down her temple.
"Keep working yes the battle continues woolf wolves wolf wolves!" He roars as the fight continues on, using Ice bomb.
"The great lord death runs by his own rules. Its those rules that decide what evil is." Proudly, Free informs the children.
"Rules?" Soul furrows his brow.
"That's right. You all follow the reaper so eagerly so blindly what gives him the right to decide what the world should be, how it should be run. He trains you to hunt down souls that are unworthy. Souls like mine wouldn't be safe from him. But I for one am not going to accept that kind of future. Human rules control the destiny of wolves all over the world. I refuse! It's my turn now I'm going to be the judge! I'm not going to play by his rules anymore." Proudly, Free declares as Ingram nods his head in agreement, understanding his pain well.
"Shoot…I feel dizzy." Moaning, Maka cradles her bloodied head.
"You'd look good as the red riding hood." Snickering, Free teases.
"Soul scythe." Sternly, Maka orders scowling as Tsubaki turns back into her normal form.
"But…" Soul furrows his brow worried.
"Now!" Maka snaps at him as he complies ignoring the sizzling sensation, the smoke spewing out of her fingertips.
"Wolves are killed when they are a danger to humans and protected when the population of the wolves goes down…like a puppet. We do not want such a future. It is my turn to be the judge Interesting…" Proudly, Free roars tossing a hefty load of ice at the two who dodge it.
"Hey your hands…" Concerned, Soul calls out to her.
"I am immortal." He declares as she dives in slicing at his chest.
"Hey what are you doing?" Soul scowls at her as she uses the butt of the scythe in hopes of opening the wound more, trying to decrease the regeneration speed but…
"Will you shut up! I have to be stronger I can't whimper like a sissy girl!" Pained, Maka confesses.
"Calm down! Idiot if you could be stronger just by screaming and stomping everyone would be doing it!" Soul snaps at her.
"Shut up!" Maka shouts.
"You keep saying sissy stuff! It's also your fault that our soul waves don't match! I thought you wanted to be tough! You're more cowardly than I thought." Soul tells her.
"Shut up you don't know anything!" Ashamed, Maka wails to the high havens.
"That's enough already!" Intrigued, Ingram smirks at the scene playing out if only he had bought some toffee popcorn all would be well when seeing the fight below him. So the girl has a spine…
"Both of you need to listen to each other! You are not going to get anywhere having temper tantrums just because the other is not listening to your opinion!" Truthfully, Tsubaki explains to the two.
"Um well your partner is really like that though…" Soul points out.
"Blackstar is just silly. And its fine to me that he is that way. It is so to say our style." Softly, Tsubaki smiles as she returns to her Meister's side.
"SOUL RESONANCE!" Together, both Maka and Soul declares activating witch hunter as said blade is enveloped in a familiar light, a blue energy sounding enveloping them both.
"Good couldn't be any better looks like the black blood started working now…the weapon contaminated with the black blood disturbed even its Meister's mind now expand the resonance rate even more…" Medusa smiles at the sight before her.
"My god the resonance rate is greater than I've ever seen before." Tsubaki gasps at the sight.
"Witch hunter!" Maka proclaims slicing into his tail which he summoned as a shield but is easily cut through just as she then dives at him.
"Maka!" Soul cries out as he is dropped to the ground.
"A meister dropping her weapon what has the world gone to?" Amused, Free chuckles.
"Go to hell!" Maka screeches slamming her fist into his face, hoping to drag him to the chilly waters below but…
"Soul!" Startled, Maka gasps at the hand that grabs her saving her from the fall.
"Oh you're not as heavy as I thought." Smirking, Soul points out only to gasp when hearing her scream, seeing a familiar pair of claws dig deep into her waist.
"Do you think I'd go down alone!? No I will not!" Proudly, Free declares unaware of a frowning Ingram plucking one of his feathers from his coat.
"What? Maka!" Soul cries out as next thing he knew, he saw a black blur, hearing the harsh ring of metal cutting into the air as the hand that had held Maka was firmly sliced off her, freeing her from his grasp.
"Yes you are." Bored, Ingram deadpans.
"You hit him!?" Erika screeches at him horrified.
"He was boring me." Frowning, Ingram shrugs.
"He's on our side!" She snaps at him.
"And he fulfilled his purpose. There's no need for this fight to continue." Lazily, he dismisses her.
"B-But…" Feebly, Eruka stutters, stammering it out trying to understand his mindset, fearful of the snakes within pouncing at him but he seems unfazed, bored, disappointed even.
"Now go fetch him the dog." Scowling, he waves her off.
"Why don't you?" Eruka scowls at him.
"And risk rusting my feathers? No thanks…" Tutting, Ingram sneers disgusted at the sheer notion, she's the amphibian she can get him besides he doesn't want wet dog on his newly cleaned plumage.
