Chapter 3: Pass or Fail! A Rational Deception!
-UA Entrance Exam Observation Room-
"Check out the results from the exam!" One of the teachers said in surprise.
"Wow, the first place student had zero Rescue Points and over a hundred hero points." The same alluring female voice noted in intrigue.
"He took down those small villains like an ace, waiting for them to get in close and using that clay of his to lay traps. Tough and clever, nice." Notes the western sounding teacher.
"Check out fourth place. The Senju/Uchiha kid took that spot." Another teacher pointed out.
"He's definitely an interesting case. From the looks of it, he knows a good few techniques from the Senju and Uchiha clans." The alluring voice said. "And his strategy to split up and attack several places at once shows he's good at multitasking. Definitely explains why he has an equal score of Hero and Rescue points."
"He's not the first to take down the zero pointer, but it's been awhile since I saw someone blow it away like that." Another added.
"But at what cost? It totally wrecked his arm." Another countered. "If you ask me it seems like his body isn't used to expelling that much power."
"Could be worse. He does seem to have a talent for medical techniques so maybe he'll know how to fix it?" A third wondered.
Off to the side, the Erasure Hero: Eraserhead watched the footage with scrutiny. He wasn't so sure how he should mark this new arrival.

-Dagaba Beach, Three days after Izuku received his acceptance letter-
Izuku panted as he arrived at the beach, having run a good way to get there. When he arrived he saw his teacher standing there looking at the ocean.
"Hey!" He called as the man turned around.
"Yo! Young Midoriya!" All Might smiled as his pupil came up to him as he gave the boy a high five. "Congrats on getting in." He said, smiling warmly down at his young student. His face was much less atrophied now and looked so much healthier, however his eyes were still unfortunately darkened with prominent stress rings.
"Thanks." The boy nodded before chuckling. "How much of an impression did I make on the judges?" He asked with a small grin.
"Oh, you got their attention, alright. You practically became their biggest interest after making the Golem." The man replied as he recalled how excited some of his colleagues were when they saw Izuku's Wood Release in action.
"Yeah, kinda let the cat out of the bag there." The boy chuckled. "But One for All completely wrecked my right arm. If it wasn't for my regeneration and the golem absorbing most of the impact—I'm sure it would've blown it completely off." He continued.
"Right. You've still got a long way to go in mastering it." All Might nodded. "Expecting control right away is like asking a baby to run a marathon. You still gotta learn how to walk."
"Right… Wait, you knew I was going to be hurt that badly?!" The Uchiha boy questioned.
"Well, we were in a time crunch. But it turned out alright." The symbol of peace said nervously. "Plus now you know what you're dealing with." He continued. "So, how did it feel to fire on all cylinders?" He asked.
"Uh, like a lot of broken bones." The shinobi descendant deadpanned.
"Not that, I mean the rush when you used it!" His mentor corrected. Izuku thought for a moment before his answer came to him.
"Like an egg exploding in a microwave." He replied, causing the man to burst out laughing and cough up a bit of blood, though not as much as there would have been otherwise.
"That's kinda boring, but okay!" He exclaimed. "If that's what you're going for then try making sure the egg doesn't explode by changing the wattage or decreasing the cooking time." The man suggested. "Or, alternatively. You could try treating it like a chakra control exercise, making sure you don't use more than your body can handle in one sitting and try focusing it to specific areas to minimize damage if any. That sort of thing."
"Right. That should help reduce the damage." The green haired boy nodded.
"Right now your body is overflowing with energy at the moment. It's all or nothing. But soon with training your body can hold it better, and you'll learn how to adjust its output." All Might said as he picked up two spray cans and then bulked up. "Then it's yours to command!" He added.
"It's All Might!" A civilian they failed to notice exclaimed in delight, causing them to widen their eyes.
"No way! Hey!" Another exclaimed.
"Right, now we run!" The hero said to his protege as they bolted down the beach. 'The torch I've passed onto you is but a small flame now, young Midoriya. Soon as you grow, it too will be kindled until you wield a raging inferno. Then you will soon grow to outshine me! Then eventually I will retire, my job complete. Huh, deep stuff alright!' He thought as they ran together, the green haired lad copying the shinobi run style as they smiled at each other.

-First morning of the school year-
At the Midoriya household Izuku was going through his things to make sure he had everything he needed for his first day at UA. And as he was putting on his shoes to walk out the door, his mother came up to him.
"Izuku, do you have everything?" The woman asked him.
"Yep. I've got all my school stuff." The boy nodded as he put his backpack on.
"And there are no All Might figures?" The woman continued teasingly.
"I will never live that down, will I?" Izuku groaned.
"Nope!" Inko giggled. The boy sighed before he hugged his mother. "I'm really proud of you, son." She told him.
"Thanks mom." He sighed as he turned to leave for school.

Meanwhile in the Toga household, Himiko was busy getting ready for school. Her ash blonde hair was down as she combed it after having brushed her teeth and applied her new gold mascara and black eyeliner. A towel that was wrapped around her petite frame was her only state of attire.
"Hmm…" The girl hummed as she looked at herself in the mirror. "If I'm gonna become a hero, I need to look the part. And my messy buns just won't cut it." She added as she started messing with her hair until she found a style she liked.
Her new style was a simple ponytail that rested on the very back of her head and flopped to the left side. It was a bit messy, but it still suited her. Plus, this was something of a change for her now that she was going to UA.
"There, that's better." She smiled as she started putting on her clothes and feeding her pet Thrush, Chisatori. "Well, little buddy. This is it. I'm gonna become a hero." She smiled as she gave the small bird a pat on the head.
Her avian pet chirped happily at her, as if to encourage her. Toga smiled at the bird and left.

Meanwhile at the UA campus, Izuku finally arrived at the hallway leading to the classroom he'd be stuck in, and as he did, he wondered who'd be in his class. Three personal preferences were Katsuki, Ochako and her friend Himiko.
"Class 1-A, 1-A, where is it?" He wondered, looking around. After a moment, he found the class he was looking for… and gaped at the size of the door. "Are there giants here?!" He wondered. Shaking his head he tried to calm himself.
However, his calming ritual was interrupted when someone came flying towards him. "Oh Izuku~!" A cheerful voice called as Himiko came flying out of nowhere and hugged the boy by the neck before he could open the door. "I knew I recognized that messy head of beautiful green hair, how've you been?" She smiled as she continued to hug him.
"J-just f-f-fine." The young Uchiha stuttered with a blush, feeling the girl's breasts pressing against him. They weren't very large, A-B cup probably, but still noticeable.
As Himiko continued to cling to her new friend, it allowed him to see that she had on the school shirt, skirt, tie and a pair of black dress flats, but instead of a sport coat, she wore a grey cardigan, and instead of black stockings she wore black leg warmers.
Izuku slowly opened the door and what awaited him, honestly made no sense to him whatsoever.
"Get your feet off that desk this instant!" The bespectacled boy Izuku recognized from the exams ordered Bakugo, who didn't seem to care about what he said. "It's only the first day and your already disrespecting the school by scuffing school property you creeton!" He continued.
"You're kidding, right?" The blonde questioned. "Your old school shove that stick up your ass? Or were you born with it?" He added. The Three Clan hybrid sweat dropped as Himiko looked at Bakugo in confusion.
"Just my luck…" He sighed.
"Is he always this obnoxious?" The girl asked as she looked at him while hugging his midsection.
"I wouldn't say obnoxious; more like… uncaring, I guess?" The green haired boy tried to reply as Katsuki just threatened to tear the newly introduced Iida a new one. "… And he can be extremely blunt." He added.
Iida then seemed to notice the two. "It's him." He said as all the eyes of the room turned towards the petite shapeshifter and Uchiha heir apparent. The Pomeranian turned his attention to the doorway and saw Izuku before smirking.
"'Bout time ya got here, Deku." He said.
"Uh, hi everyone!" Izuku said nervously as Himiko backed away, not wanting anyone to get the wrong idea.
"Hey! I recognize those hairdos! Izuku, Himiko, hey!" Ochako's voice said behind them as they turned around and saw that she was standing there with a smile on her face.
"Ochako!" Himiko cheered as she hugged her best friend. "I'm so glad we're in the same class together!" She smiled happily.
"It is nice to see familiar faces here." Momo said as she walked up to them with a smile.
"Oh! Momo! Good to see the unspoken mom of our class is here." Himiko grinned, causing Izuku to raise a brow.
"Is there something I'm missing?" He asked.
"Oh, we all went to the same middle school together." Ochako explained as they entered the classroom.
"Well it's very nice to meet all of you, I'm Tenya Iida of the Somei private academy." Iida said.
"Nice to meet you Iida, I'm Ochako Uraraka." The gravity girl smiled.
"Toga here, Himiko Toga." The blonde continued with a catish smile.
"Momo Yaoyorozu." The ravenette added.
"Izuku Midoriya." The green haired boy finished.
"Midoriya. You saw that there were other factors to the entrance exam didn't you?" Iida asked, causing Izuku to look at him in confusion. "I must admit, I completely misjudged you when we first met, and I am truly sorry." He continued.
"How do you mean…?" The Sharingan user asked. "You know what? Doesn't matter. Now, let's take our seats before the guy sleeping on the floor gets too grumpy." He added as he jabbed a thumb behind himself.
"Glad to see someone is aware of their surroundings." A new voice spoke, causing them to look and see Eraserhead in his sleeping bag, making him look like a grumpy caterpillar.
'What is that thing?!' The others minus Izuku thought, feeling creeped out.
"Welcome to UA's hero course." He said as he pulled out what looked like some sort of pouch of fruit juice and downed it in one go. He then got out of his sleeping bag. "It took you guys over a minute to shut up, that's not gonna work. Time is precious, rational students would realize that." He continued.
'He looks familiar, but I can't quite place him. Who is he?' Izuku wondered.
"I think that's Mr. Aizawa." Himiko whispered. "Vlad King, one of the teachers here trained me before the exam and mentioned that he once expelled an entire class of students because they didn't live up to his standards." She added. This caused Izuku to gulp nervously.
"Hello, everyone. I'm Shota Aizawa, your teacher." He told the class, much to the shock of nearly everyone.
'HE'S OUR TEACHER?!' They thought simultaneously.
"Right, put these on and head outside." Aizawa said as everyone watched him pull a tracksuit from his sleeping bag.
(Later)
-UA track field-
"What? A quirk assessment test?" Everyone questioned in unison.
"But what about orientation?" Himiko questioned.
"Yeah, we'll miss it!" Ochako added.
"Not important. Here at UA, we aren't tied to tradition. It's not spoken, but the board of education prohibited the use of quirks to keep things equal. It's irrational, and won't last forever." The man said. "So, we're going to be doing physical tests to see your possible potential as heroes."
"Huh, that doesn't sound too bad." Izuku noted idly.
"Yeah, could be fun too, we could try to one up each other." Himiko added.
"Like a competition? Sounds risky…" Ochako admitted nervously.
"Don't get too comfortable. If I don't like the results I may just end up getting rid of whoever's in last place." Their teacher told them, making the kids gulp. "Let's begin." The man said before looking at Bakugo. "Bakugo, what was your farthest softball throw?" He questioned, causing him to think it over.
"Somewhere around sixty seven meters, I think." He replied.
"Alright. Try again with your quirk this time." Aizawa told him. "And if you wish to use your explosion style techniques to add to your results, you can. A rational hero should always use every tool in his arsenal." He added.
"Sure." The blonde said as he took a glob of clay before chewing on it, infusing it with his chakra before spitting it out and molding it around the ball and winding up. "I'll add a little heat and drop their jaws, then send them flying." He grinned before throwing the ball and causing an explosion. "DIE!" He yelled before making a few hand signs. "Explosion Style: C1 Booster!" He said as another explosion went off and sent the ball further causing it to land way farther than it would have otherwise.
Aizawa then held up his screen, showing that he threw the ball 1008.9 meters.
"Well done, Kacchan." Izuku nodded.
"Whoa, he threw it over a kilometer!" A yellow haired boy said in surprise.
"Wicked." Himiko noted as the tests began.
-50 Meter Dash-
The first test was a 50 meter dash and so far everyone was getting decent scores. Himiko got 4.09 seconds while Ochako got 7.49 seconds. The last pair to go was Katsuki and Izuku, and the boy knew exactly how he wanted to tackle this test.
'Time for the Body Flicker Jutsu.' The Uchiha heir thought as he got ready.
"4.39 seconds!" The robot recording their times said to Katsuki as he landed.
"My powers have the most uses out of everyone in this school." He said confidently. Izuku sighed as he made a hand sign.
"Ninja Art: Body Flicker Jutsu!" He said before he then disappeared in a flicker of black lines. A moment later, he appeared at the finish line.
"0.0001 seconds!" The robot proclaimed, causing almost everyone to drop their jaws in total shock, including their teacher.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" A redhead yelled, voicing everyone's thoughts.
"So that's the D-rank Body flicker technique." Momo noted. "Quite an impressive feat for such a low ranked move." She added.
-Grip Strength Test-
Izuku channeled chakra into his hand as he gripped the device in his hand. He also decided to try adding a very small amount of One for All to the mix to increase his result. When he did, though…
CRACK!
He accidentally crushed it. This made everyone look at him in surprise, particularly Himiko and Ochako who just realized how much he must have been holding back when he hugged them earlier.
"Boy, I envy the girl who's going to be his girlfriend." The ash blonde whispered to her brunette bestie. "A man with that kind of grip? Just asking to get nailed." She grinned with a perverse blush.
"Really, Deku?" The Pomeranian bomber groaned in exasperation. The boy chuckled nervously as he sheepishly handed the broken device to Aizawa.
-Standing Long Jump-
For this test, Tsuyu Asui, Katsuki, Toga, and Uraraka all made top scores on the jump. And when Izuku went up, he decided to copy what he had done at the grip strength test and send a small percentage of one for all (5% he guessed) to his legs through his chakra points and sent chakra to his feet before lifting off and sailing clear across the field and beating out Himiko's score but being below Ochako and Katsuki.
"Can't beat 'em all." He muttered knowingly. Aizawa meanwhile watched him and noted that he wasn't using his Sharingan and his usage of his bigger moves were nonexistent.
'What's he doing? Is he saving his strength for the other tests? A rational strategy but it's still flawed, he'd do better if he used his Sharingan.' The man thought. 'He also seems to be keeping that other move in check… Something isn't adding up. I'll need to confront him about it soon.'
-Repeated Side Steps-
In this test Izuku decided the best way to get a good score was to focus as much chakra as he could to do Body flicker in rapid succession. It was a risky play but he ended up seceding and beating everyone else out in the challenge.
Aizawa, meanwhile took notice of this. 'Hmmm, the only person I know of from researching the ninja world that was able to use the body flicker like that was Shishui Uchiha. Is he as strong as him?' He wondered.
-Ball Throw-
It was time for the ball throw test and it was Izuku's turn. As he walked ton the circle, he thought about his plan for the test.
"I could make a wood release cast around my arm to absorb the backlash, and then my body will naturally heal quickly before the rest of the tests are done." He said to himself as he weighed his options. "It's a risky play, but it's the best I got." He added as he weaved a few more hand signs. "Wood Style: Wood Armor." The boy intoned as he made his arm become encased in a wooden cast/gauntlet of some sort.
"What's he doing?" Ochako wondered.
"I'm not quite sure." Iida replied with a frown. Tossing the ball in his hand, he took a moment to get ready before channeling all of One for All into his arm with a chakra boost and readied himself to throw the ball, but as he did, he suddenly felt his power leave him.
"What the…? What just happened?" He wondered, confused about why One for All left him suddenly. Then he slowly turned around and the realization hit him. Aizawa was the hero he had based his ocular tricks on to try and get people into his genjutsu: Eraserhead. "Oh no…" He said in a deflated manner.
"I erased your irrational quirk." He told the boy, his eyes glowing red. "Someone like you shouldn't have been accepted here, regardless of your heritage." He continued scathingly.
"Exactly why would that be, Eraserhead?" The boy questioned as he looked at the man, his Sharingan activating as they made eye contact. And not a second later, the man grabbed him and pulled him towards him with his scarf.
"You can't control the full strength of your power. You can use it in small bursts but that will only amount to a stop gap, run out of chakra to keep your techniques running and you'll be a liability because you'll have to rely on a quirk you can't fully use." The hero stated. "That's my reasoning." He concluded, before Izuku suddenly disappeared and was replaced by one of the softballs.
"And I thought you did your homework, sensei. You should know the one rule when it comes to my bloodline." He said, drawing the man's attention to his position.
"And that is…?" He trailed off as he looked the teen in the eyes… big mistake.
"Don't look an active Sharingan user in the eyes." He replied, putting his teacher in a Genjutsu. Without warning, Aizawa found himself in a void of green and black lines and was staring at a silhouette of Izuku before it burst into green flames and started growing, forming a rib cage and other bones before skin appeared and light armor. The figure's white eyes seemed to stare him down as it towered over him.
The figure looked similar to the wood golem but was made completely out of chakra and was wearing spiked samurai armor. It looked kinda like Shishui Uchiha's Susanoo.
The titanic illusion continued to stare Aizawa down before it reached out its emerald hued right hand and grabbed the man as he stood there scared stiff. It then rose him up to its face before staring at him for a minute or two.
'Is this…? This is a genjutsu! And I fell for it!' The man thought in shock before the Susanoo avatar opened its mouth and suddenly swallowed him whole, causing everything to go black.
When the Genjutsu ended, he let out a very startled scream and fell backwards, which caused the students to look at him oddly. His quirk's effect on Izuku also ended when the Genjutsu did since he blinked afterwards.
"Uh, you okay there, sensei?" Himiko asked with a raised eyebrow as the man stood up, breathing shakily.
"I'm fine… I just made the mistake of looking an active Sharingan user in the eyes." He replied as he tried to calm his nerves.
"Finally, someone else gets it!" Bakugo exclaimed as he threw his hands in the air. He himself had experienced genjutsu before, and it was never fun.
Izuku decided to take his throw as All Might watched on. Flexing his wooden cast, he suddenly had an idea. Grinning, he took his ball and started throwing it with a chakra booster first, before channeling One for All into his finger at the last possible second, sending it flying into the air, so much so that it looked like Team Rocket when they were sent blasting off by Pikachu.
Aizawa read his screen and saw that the ball was out of range, so it registered as infinity, the same as Ochako's score. Izuku then turned to Aizawa and held up his arm as his wooden cast crumbled to splinters, revealing his miraculously undamaged hand in defiance to his teacher as he clenched it into a fist.
"Still think I'm a liability, sensei?!" He questioned with a suitably victorious grin.
"This… Kid!" Aizawa said in surprise as he grinned. However, Izuku's feat wasn't without consequences, he still had some bruising around his finger and this slightly bloodied sight caught Himiko's attention… and made her blood fetish itch as a feeling of lust stirred deep within her loins.
'So hot~!' The blonde moaned mentally.
'He channeled One for All at the last second?! What the heck, young Midoriya?! When did you go and get so cool?!' All Might thought in amazement.
"Whoa nice!" Ochako cheered as she and her friend obliterated the test.
"He still has some bruising on his finger. He had the wood absorb most of the backlash this time but still got injured. How strange." Iida noted. Katsuki meanwhile was in utter shock at what he just saw. That was not something from his Sharingan or his ninja skills.
'What the hell was that?!' He wondered with wide eyes. 'Besides his Sharingan and ninja skills, he should be completely quirkless! There's no way he could've gotten one now!' He added angrily. 'Something doesn't add up. I'm getting to the bottom of this, now!' He thought as he started storming towards his friend and rival, explosions going off in his hands.
"Deku…" He growled as he started stomping faster. "What the hell did you just do you bastard?!" He questioned as he was about to break into a full sprint.
Though he didn't get far when Himiko got in his way. Before he could react, he found himself in a headlock as she glared at him.
"If you threaten or try to hurt him again… I'll kill you." She whispered in a menacingly cute tone, causing the explosive teen to gulp at how serious she sounded.
Everyone seemed shaken by what had just happened as the girl let Bakugo get back up, and then the rest of the tests went by with Izuku doing very decently. After that it was time for the results, and they went as follows:
Momo Yaoyorozu
Katsuki Bakugo
Shoto Todoroki
Izuku Midoriya
Himiko Toga
Tenya Iida
Ochako Uraraka
Fumikage Tokoyami
Miezo Shoji
Mashirao Ojiro
Eijiro Kirishima
Mina Ashido
Koji Koda
Rikido Sato
Tsuyu Asui
Yuga Aoyama
Hanta Sero
Denki Kaminari
Kyoka Jiro
Toru Hagakure
"And I was lying, no one's going home." Aizawa told them, shocking everyone.
"Huh?!" Everyone except Momo and Izuku uttered.
"I figured as much. As a ninja, I learned to see through deception." The green haired teen said, Momo nodding in agreement.
"I concur. I'm surprised the rest of you didn't figure it out. Guess one of us should've said something." She commented.
'Yeah. Ya should have!' The other kids thought as Bakugo looked at Izuku.
'What is he hiding from me?' He wondered to himself.
Meanwhile, Aizawa rounded a corner as All Might decided to confront him. "Aizawa, that was a rotten move!" The symbol of peace stated.
"All Might. So you were watching." The erasure hero noted.
"A rational deception. That's cute, but you're not exactly known for being lighthearted." The No. 1 hero stated. "I read your file, last year you expelled an entire class of freshman students. You have no problem with kicking students out, anyone you deem 'unworthy'. You were planning on sending the last place home." He continued. "So that can only mean that you see the same potential in Young Midoriya that I do!"
"Maybe I do, maybe I don't. Who's to say?" The tired looking man shrugged. "Either way, I learned that my quirk doesn't work on chakra and to never look an active Sharingan user in the eyes." He continued.
"A lesson learned the hard way I see." All Might nodded.
(Elsewhere)
After school ended Izuku started walking home while letting out a yawn after getting checked on by Recovery Girl and being allowed to leave without having to be healed.
"Man what a day." He sighed before he felt a hand on his shoulder, and turned to see that it was Iida. "Hey Iida." He greeted.
"Hello, Midoriya. You're heading to the train station, correct?" He inquired.
"Yeah, you?" The boy nodded.
"Indeed." The bespectacled lad nodded as they walked together. Bakugo was nowhere to be seen because he didn't want to end up blowing up at Izuku so he decided to distance himself so he could cool down. "I must admit I did disapprove of Mr. Aizawa's teaching methods. But, I trust the school's judgment, UA is the top program after all. Even so, lying is downright immoral." He stated, folding his arms.
"Maybe, but it could be some kind of hidden lesson to help us spot potential bluffs. Something like that could come in handy." Izuku pointed out.
"That would stand to reason." The speedster hummed thoughtfully.
"Hey!" Ochako called as she ran up to them. "Wait up guys! I'll join you!" She said, right as a blonde blur blew past them and tackle hugged her and Izuku.
"Ya-hoo hoo!" Himiko cheered as she squeezed her friends close. "Don't forget about me!" She smiled.
"I'd never forget about you, Himiko." The gravity girl chuckled.
"Yeah you can join us." Izuku nodded.
"The more the merrier as they say." Iida added.
(The next day)
The next day at school everyone was getting used to their new curriculum. Core classes in the mornings that included English, Math, Reading, Art, Science, Social Studies, etc. Lunch in the main cafeteria where the relatively cheap food was made by one of the best chefs in Japan, Lunch Rush.
And then finally, in the afternoons, it was time for the most important class in the Hero Course: Hero Basic Training.
"I AM HERE! Walking through the door like a normal human being!" All Might exclaimed as he entered the room.
"Whoa! It's All Might!" Denki Kaminari exclaimed.
"He really is going to be a teacher here! This is gonna be awesome!" Eijiro Kirishima added.
"Isn't that his silver age costume he's wearing?" Tsu asked.
"Whoa, it's retro as hell!" Himiko grinned.
"Welcome to the most important class in the UA high! Think of it as hero 101. Here you will learn what it means to be a pro, and what it means to fight in the name of good!" The hero told them. "And this lesson will pull no punches!" He added as he held up a card with fight on it.
"Fight training!" Bakugo said with a viscous smirk.
"Now this is more like it!" Kirishima, the spiky redhead, said with a grin.
"And one of the most important parts about being a hero is… Looking good!" All Might exclaimed as he pressed a button and cases came from the wall. "Put these on and meet me at training ground Beta." He told them.
(Later)
-Training ground Beta-
All Might grinned as his students exited the tunnel. "They say clothes make the hero, and you, children, are the proof!" He declared as he looked over the next generation. "From this day forward you are heroes in training." All Might added. "Now, shall we get started? Ya bunch of newbies?!"
Izuku came walking towards the group in his hero costume, which was similar to his Entrance exam outfit, but had been dyed different colors by his mom. It was an emerald green, short-sleeved shirt with a high collar and the Uchiha symbol on the back. white shorts with a green stripe on the seam, and green arm warmers. He also has on a pair of green ninja sandals and had his Uchiha, Senju and Uzumaki crest bracelets on his left arm. Lastly he has a green ninja headband on whose plate swept up at the top corners to resemble small versions of All Might's hair and had the man's symbol on it.
Meanwhile Toga was dressed in what looked to be a more female version of Vlad King's outfit. She had a pair of knife holders on the back of her waist that held three knives each, and had a collar that had the appearance of fangs on the front that also had three needles on each side.
"Wow, Himiko, nice costume!" Ochako smiled. "Both cool and intimidating at the same time." She then turned around and looked at Izuku. "Hey Deku!" She smiled as she looked him over.
The girl had started calling the three clan heir Deku after hearing Katsuki call him that. Though it was at first confused as to why given that it meant "useless". However she also noted that the name could also be read as "You can do it!" Which made the boy reconsider the nickname given that his heritage's biggest slogan was to have a "Will of Fire". Additionally both Himiko and Ochako found the name very heroic and cute, so it also changed the paradigm of the name in Izuku's eyes.
"Your costume is pretty good, too." She added. "I wasn't very specific with mine, and ended up with this skintight suit." She added as she blushed.
"I dunno. I think it looks pretty good." Himiko giggled as she started groping her bestie, much to her embarrassment. "You should really be more prideful in it, some of us girls would kill to have curves like yours." She added as she nuzzled the pink clad heroine's equally pink cheeks.
Izuku meanwhile was covering his mouth in shock, unable to look away from the truly gorgeous sight. So much so that he didn't notice Bakugo leaning his elbow on his shoulder.
"I'm guessing you speak from experience, huh pipsqueak?" He smirked at Toga who pouted at him while not stopping her assault on Ochako's assets.
"I'm not a pipsqueak!" She complained, this caused everyone to laugh as they joined everyone else.
However, All Might gave his protege a scrutinizing look as he noticed certain similarities to his own appearance and the boy's costume. Particularly the headband and the fact that it looked like it had his symbol on it.
"You're so obvious!" The man said as he covered his mouth, trying to hold in his laughter. As they all gathered around, he spoke again. "Now that you're ready. It's time to start combat training." He stated.
"Sir, this is the area where we held our exams! Are we doing urban combat again?" Iida spoke up. Izuku looked at the boy's costume and noticed that it was similar in appearance to that of Ingenium the Turbo hero.
'I wonder why that is?' Izuku wondered idly.
"Not quite. I'm moving you two steps ahead." All Might replied. "Now, most of the fights you see on the news take place outside. However, statistically speaking run-ins with the most dastardly evil doers take place indoors." He continued. "Think about it: Backroom deals, home invasions, secret underground lairs. Truly intelligent criminals work in the shadows." He added. "So for this exercise you will be doing two on two indoor battles."
"Isn't that rather advanced?" Tsu questioned.
"The best experience is what you get on the battlefield!" All Might replied. "But remember, you can't just punch a robot this time. You're dealing with actual people!" He added.
"Sir, will you be deciding who wins?" Momo asked.
"How much can we hurt the other team?" Katsuki questioned.
"Will we have to worry about someone being expelled like last time?" Ochako asked nervously.
"Will you be splitting us up based on chance or comparative skill?" Iida asked, his hand raised.
"Is there a limit to what kind of weapons we can use?" Himiko questioned as she examined one of her knives.
"Isn't this cape tre shique?" Aoyama asked, flashing his sparkly cape.
"I'm not done talking!" The muscular man growled, shutting everyone up as he pulled out a script. "The situation is this: The villains have hulled up with a nuclear payload inside one of these buildings and the heroes must stop them. The heroes can win by either capturing the evil doers or retrieving the weapon. Likewise the villains win if they capture the heroes or protect their target."
"So basically an action movie set up. Okay." Himiko shrugged.
"Time is limited so we'll be choosing teams by drawing lots." The symbol of peace said, holding up a box.
"Isn't this a little haphazard?" Iida asked.
"Not exactly. Heroes sometimes have to team up with others from different agencies on the spot, so this is likely a reference to that." Izuku pointed out.
"Excellent point!" All Might exclaimed as he pointed at Izuku. "Now, let's draw!" He said as everyone drew their lots.
Teams
Midoriya and Uraraka
Todoroki and Shoji
Iida and Yaoyorozu
Bakugo and Toga
Aoyama and Ashido
Koda and Sato
Kaminari and Jiro
Asui and Tokoyami
Hagakure and Ojiro
Sero and Kirishima
"Wow, what're the chances?! We're a team!" Ochako cheered as she hugged Izuku.
"Uh, yeah." The boy chuckled nervously.
Meanwhile with Himiko and Bakugo, the girl seemed deflated. "Aw, I was hoping I could be on Izuku's team." She whined.
"What? You think I'm not good enough?" The boy questioned.
"No, but I do know that having two sadists on the same team against a team with people who are the opposite is just asking for trouble." The girl pointed out.
"... Touché." The Pomeranian boy conceded.
"I declare that the first ones to fight will be… these guys!" All Might declared as he held up an white A ball and a black D ball, causing the two teams to glance at each other.
"Oh no…" Himiko and Izuku groaned, both realizing that they would have to fight their respective best friends.
(Later)
Outside the building while Toga and Bakugo were getting ready, Ochako and Izuku were getting ready. With the young ninja writing in his clan restoration notebook to help calm his nerves. Looking at the book, the brunette decided to ask about it.
"What's in that notebook?" She inquired, causing her partner to stop and look at her.
"Oh I'm just taking notes on ways I can improve and rebuild the Uchiha, Senju and Uzumaki clans." Izuku explained.
"How do you plan to do that?" She asked.
"Well… I do have a plan to take on multiple wives." The boy admitted shyly. This made the gravity girl blush, wondering just who he had his sights on currently… but decided to save that for another time.
"Well, I hope you can achieve your goal." She smiled.
"Thanks." He smiled back.
(Elsewhere)
Meanwhile on the sixth floor, Himiko was sitting on a drum barrel and swinging her legs while Bakugo stood next to the fake rocket, arms folded and tapping his foot on the floor impatiently.
"You think Deku really has a quirk?" He asked his temporary teammate.
"He could. There's also the possibility of him being a late bloomer, which would make sense, if I looked at his quirk correctly." The girl replied, confusing Bakugo a little.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"If his quirk is a power stockpiling type like I think it is, then I think both of us know what would've happened if he got it when he was four." Toga explained with a shiver. She may have had a blood fetish, but she didn't need to see someone explode, thank you very much!
Bakugo was about to ask what she meant when an image of Izuku's body exploding formed in his head. It was actually gruesome enough to make him shiver.
"Okay, yeah, you win. Him being a late bloomer makes sense." He nodded.
"Then why are you so mad about it?" Himiko asked.
"I'm not mad about him having a quirk, I'm mad about him not telling me. We've been best friends since we were kids, he told me everything back then. So, him keeping something like this from me just…" Katsuki said before trailing off.
"Stings?" The shapeshifter asked.
"Something like that." The boy nodded. Himiko sighed as she laid on her back and stretched.
"Well, quirk or not, he is still one of the cutest guys I've ever met. And he's so sweet! How is it possible that he doesn't have a girlfriend?" She questioned incredulously.
"Because he's too shy to try and get one." Bakugo deadpanned, recalling the times his friend tried and failed to get a girlfriend.
"Well, I don't know about you, but I am making it my personal mission to amend that travesty!" Himiko stated, jumping down from her perch as the buzzer sounded. "Because my hero dream is to fight, live, and—if it comes to it—die my way for those I love. And I'll do anything for them, no matter how crazy." She continued as an image of Ochako and Izuku appeared in her head as she blushed and smiled madly before looking at Bakugo. "Don't you agree, Katsuki?" She asked.
"You know what? I like the way you think." The boy smirked. "Think you can handle guarding the bomb?" He asked.
"Oh that'll be easy as pie." The girl grinned as she twirled one of her knives. "Let's do this shit." She added as the match began.
Dragon Emperor0: I don't know why, but I have a sinking feeling that before this season is over, Himiko will not only find out about Izuku's Uchiha/Senju/Uzumaki restoration plans, but also One for All.
ThermalsniperN7: She is a wild card, so that wouldn't surprise me. She even admitted to making it a mission to be Izuku's girlfriend eventually!
Dragon Emperor0: Even if she's a good girl in this timeline, this is still the same Toga from the manga and show. So when she finds someone she likes, she will not hesitate to do anything she can to make them hers. Only difference here is that she'll do anything—within reason—which is a big bullet dodged.
ThermalsniperN7: No kidding. Anyway, see you guys next time!
