"Ava!" Loudly, the voice cries out making Maka flinch from the boisterous bellow echoing throughout the dark depths of the hallway turning to look up at her tired teacher sighing.
"Here we go…" Ava groans exhaling shakily, closing her eyes, her brow furrowed.
"Huh?" Maka blinks when next thing her greens caught on to was the blonde blur brushing past her as a blonde throws itself at the unfazed Ava, hearing the polite, excuse me as Maka was politely shifted to the side before seeing the blonde cling to Ava's side.
"I was so lost I thought I was going to die here!" Dramatically, the blonde wails to Ava simply sighing at the blonde before her.
"You used to go to this school Marie." Patiently, Ava reminds the girl her hands on Marie's shoulders.
"When I was like…a kid. Cut me some slack!" Whining, Marie argues.
"Fine, fine come on." Too tired to deal with anymore issues, Ava raises her hands up in mock surrender as she then guides the two towards the door, where Crona resides.
"Huh? There's no one in here." Mystifed, Maka furrows her brow after peering in, looking left to right finding no signs of Crona, after Ava had opened the door taking out a skeletal key similar looking to her husband, a benefit to being the lord of death's partner, Maka assumed as she stepped aside letting Maka in.
"Maka?" Meekly, Crona's voice squeaks out as Maka follows the voice only to scream alarming and alerting Ava.
"What are you doing over there?!" Horrified, Maka gapes gawking at Crona crouched down, huddled in the corner.
"I feel safer tucked in the corner like this." Shyly, Crona smiles, pillow huddled to their chest as they nuzzle their cheek into the plump pillow.
"Hm? Oh the corner yeah sounds legit." Curious, Ava peers in, glad to see no blood.
"It does?!" Worried, Maka turns to the woman.
"You'd be surprised how comforting a corner can be." Fairly, Ava answers.
"Eagle lady?" Crona's eyes expand at the sight of the woman.
…Eagle lady?" Confused, Ava furrows her brow.
"Your eyes there just like mine." Meekly, Crona smiles up at her making Ava grimace.
"Come on you look like someone's just given you a timeout here stand up." Maka offers her hand out to Crona.
"Yeah okay." Shyly, Crona gently places their forefinger lightly tapping Maka's hand.
"Lady Ava and I are going to show you around the academy today." Merrily, Maka reveals.
"Is that okay Crona?" Gently, Ava asks.
"Um…I don't know." Crona bows their head.
"You know I'm really happy to have you here Crona." Maka tells Crona bringing a small smile to his lips.
"…Yeah." Crona nods her head.
"Hey! Hey!" Merrily, Marie comes in.
"This is Marie," Ava introduces the blonde waving at Crona.
"I'm new here too. Well new as a teacher here tomorrow is my first day I know how you feel Crona we're in the same boat but don't worry I'm sure we'll both do just fine." Confidently, Marie assures Crona.
"Oh…okay." Shyly, Crona asks.
"Oh I see…show him he's not alone nice technique lady Ava." Impressed, Sid peers in only making Crona cry out horrified.
"Crona?" Concerned, Maka calls out to the shaking quivering, quaking mess trembling like a leaf slamming their face into the plump pillow.
"The blue man is back again! He scares me!" Crona cries out fearful.
"SID! OUT. NOW." Sternly, Ava snaps at him.
"Y-Yes mam…" Meekly, Sid bows his head in rejections as he leaves the room.
"I know Sid may look like a big scary blue gorilla. But I promise he's a pretty nice guy." Maka reassures Crona.
"Yeah he may look like a decomposing corpse but I haven't seen a fly or magot on him for at least three weeks." Optimistically, Ava offers unaware of the worried look sent her way by Marie.
"A-Ava!" Harshly, Marie elbows her into the side.
"What?" Scowling, Ava cradles her rib hissing from the sharp sting.
"Alright then we don't want to keep your education waiting anymore now do we? Let's get going." Marie declares hands on her hips.
"I wouldn't be getting too cocky if I were you stupid humans!" Crudely, a voice calls out making Ava arch a brow by the voice as suddenly a black mass forms behind Crona but its small, a chibi version of some sort of creature.
"Hi there mini Ragnarök!" Maka greets the creature.
"Oh what is that!? It's so cute!" Squealing, Maire beams brightly at the sight of the creature.
"That's…the thing I beat?" Baffled, Ava does a doubletake at the sight of the creature.
"Beat!? You…you're that bitch from Italy just wait when I get my hands on you!" The creature curses glaring daggers at the astonished Ava.
"Ragnarök stop don't hurt the nice lady!" Crona tries to scold the creature but…
"Don't tell me what to do!" The creature slams its fist into Crona crying out saying they don't know how to deal with it, it hurts making Ava's eye twitch as she raises her fist, familiar sparks spewing out of her fist when…
"Enough. Unless you want another shock I suggest you stand down understand?" Angrily, Ava snarls seething.
"Y-You…" Ragnarök stutters only to flinch from the sheer intensity of her glare.
"What was that?" Enraged, she snarls down at the creature.
"…" Silently, the creature bows its head.
"That's what I thought." Ava lowers her fist.
"What did you do to me you ugly old cow!?" The creature turns to Maka.
"I don't know what you mean." Maka innocently whistles.
"What are you doing here!? I never agreed to be your friend!" Fuming, the creature snaps.
"Aw but now I'm feeling so much close to you now that you can't hurt me." Maka pats the creature's head only then to gaps when the creature controls Crona's arm, flipping Maka's skirt.
"You don't have much to look down there, do you?" Crudely, the creature snickers making Maka's blood boil.
"Wait…what did you expect?" Confused, Ava furrows her brow only to be interrupted by Maka's chop towards the creature, swiftly silencing it but at the cost of…
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to! I'll never do it again just d-don't hit me!" Miserably, Crona cries huddled in the corner siffling.
"No Crona! Don't apologise!" Apologetic, Maka calls out guilty.
"Well, this is a good as start as any." Ava smiles pleased as she clasps her hands together, turning towards the trio before her and heading out leading the way as Crona comes shyly after her, trailing behind both Marie and Maka, clinging to Maka's side as they leave the cell, beginning this tour of theirs around DWMA.
"They….they're all staring at me." Meekly, Crona cries out clinging to the back of Maka as they roam around the academy together, Marie and Ava happily conversing with Maka and Crona trailing behind them.
"Just take deep breaths yeah, you can squeeze Maka's hand if it gets too much okay." Gently, Ava advises Crona.
"I…I can do that?" Hopeful, Crona turns to Maka.
"Sure Crona here." Happily, Maka takes Crona's hand in hers squeezing it.
"T-Thank you…Um…okay one…" Shyly, Crona bows their head beginning the count.
"You seem well versed in this sort of thing lady Ava." Impressed, Maka points out.
"Yeah guess you could say that, Kid used to be a bit like this when he was a kid." Softly, Ava smiles strained at the memory at the half truth.
"Oh yeah?" Maka raises a brow intrigued.
"Yeah, he didn't have many friends." Feebly, Ava smiles at the memory, both of them didn't have many friends, at least with Kid he had the opportunity to make friends but Asura…he had no one, he wasn't allowed out only when he was of age was he and even then he didn't really know how to speak with people his age. Both he and Kid were fretful when it came to socialising the only difference being Ava allowed Asura's recluse behaviour but with Kid she tried to get him to befriend people, she couldn't condone his lifestyle forever…
"Let me guess the symmetry." Maka's voice snaps Ava out of her thoughts.
"That but he just didn't like going outside, he was the sort to stay in and read, I'd have to drag him out sometimes and if he got nervous in a crowd, I'd just…well try to distract him you know." Sweetly, she smiles down at Maka. She wasn't wrong both of them got nervous around new people, but everyone got nervous she knew that…
"Kid does seem a bit panicky." Maka takes note of making her sigh.
"Would you be surprised if I said he was worse when you first met him?" Sighing, she confesses.
"Seriously?" Shocked, Maka gapes.
"Yeah, still I should thank you guys." Thankful, Ava bows her head.
"What for?" Maka queries curious.
"For being Kid's friend, I know he can be difficult at times but he does mean well. I'm glad to see him socialising more heck the other way he wore a shirt with one button to one side while the other was plain I know it sounds little but that was a big step for him." Honestly, Ava confesses to Maka her eyes widening when hearing her words, she had thought something was off.
"Kid may be a bit quirky but there's nothing wrong with that." Perkily, Maka smiles up at her.
"I'm glad people see that. He's going to make a great grim reaper I just know it." Resolute, Ava states.
"And I'll give him the best death scythe ever!" Maka cheers raising her fist to the high heavens.
"I know you will." Amused, Ava chuckles nodding her head as they arrive at a balcony of sorts leaning against the railing to look out at the scenery of death city.
"Come on Crona quit hiding there's nothing to be afraid of here." Maka calls out to the crouched Crona sitting in the shadows.
"It's…it's so bright." Shaking, Crona stands grimacing as they look out at the horizon.
"Hahah!" Marie and Maka both burst into laugher.
"What? why are you laughing did I say something funny?" Fearfully, Crona questions the two.
"You did great…you'll get used to it Crona." Gently, Ava places her hand on their shoulder making their eyes widen.
"I…I will?" Hopeful, Crona looks up at the smiling Ava.
"Yeah…" Ava nods her head confirming it bringing a small smile to Crona's lips.
"Well how do you like our humble academy so far? Do you think you could get used to being here?" Soul questions as the others get in, the sun being too much for Crona as they go into a classroom, being greeted by Soul.
"No this place is definitely not for me." Miserably, Crona rejects.
"You're just a little nervous you'll be fine don't worry." Soul says to them.
"Nu uh can't deal with this I want go back to my corner." Crona whines.
"Maybe a nice hard kick will help?" Soul snaps.
"Down boy quit it oh hey I know why not wrote some poetry? How does that sound?" Maka pulls Soul back by the shoulder, kneeling down and offering said method to Crona only making Soul burst into a fit of laughter.
"Poetry you got to be kidding me!" Heckling, Soul cackles.
"I write poems a lot when something's bothering me it really helps." Maka's eye twitches ignoring Soul.
"Oh come on how much emo can you possibly get? You need to go to counselling or something?" Soul sneers mockingly only to cry out from the Maka chop, his ghost flying out of his body that flies above leaving his broken body on the now broken desk.
"Why don't we try writing a poem together?" Sweetly, Maka smiles down at Crona.
"If you say so I guess I can give it a try." Tentatively, Crona reasons as they begin writing.
"D-D-D-D-D-D-" Shakily, Crona reveals said paper presenting it to both Marie, Maka and Ava.
"Are you all done?" Maka catches on.
"Yeah…" Crona nods as Maka takes the paper for both Marie and Ava to look over peering over Maka's shoulder where…
"This is so stupid." Soul sneers glaring to the side.
"So uh…how is it?" Crona asks worriedly.
"This makes me wish I never been born." Miserably, Maka whimpers crouched down in the corner.
"It's so sad." Maria agrees whimpering as she too joins the corner.
"It's too relatable…" Sniffling, Ava whimpers curling in on herself joining the other two in the corner.
"Hiya guys! What are you lamos doing in here? The weather's amazing we shouldn't be locked up in school let's get going? Well I guess it does get gloomy without Blackstar around but fear not now that I'm here the sun has come out from behind the clouds!" Loudly, Blackstar bellows smiling at the trio in the corner.
"Read this." Soul shoves the paper to Blackstar taking a long moment to read it.
"I wish I never been born." Blackstar joins in shocking Soul.
"What's so horrible about a stupid poem?" Perplexed, Soul furrows his brow taking a chance and…
"I wish I never been born." Soul whispers joining the group in the corner.
"I wish I never been born." Crona joins them.
"I wish I never come back to life…" Sid whispers.
"What the hell Sid? When did you get here!?" Shocked, Soul gapes at the zombie crouched down by his side.
"Sweetheart how was the tour with…?" Happily, Death greets his wife only to falter trailing off by the female who comes crashing down to the ground moping.
"I wanna die." Deflated, Ava whimpers whining lying flat on the floor sadly.
"H-Huh?" Death blurts out lost, sweat dropping.
"I don't wanna be immortal." Whimpering, Ava wails to the high heavens.
"Sweetheart what's wrong? Did you see a soul or something?" Death crouches down placing his gloved hand on her back, patting her back, trying to console her through this.
"I'm a terrible mother, how can I be a good mother if I have to lie to my child." Pained, Ava whimpers wailing as she curls in on herself sorrowfully.
"Sweetie…" Softly, Death sighs at his mother.
"I mean did you know romantic love lasts only a year what does that make us? We're like so old look at us!" Pained, Ava wails horrified.
"Well would you like to know what I see?" Perkily, Death offers.
"What?" Ava grumbles glaring lightly.
"I see a beautiful strong cheeky woman before me who I fell for, sure when I fell I tripped a few fair times and ti did take a few times but I fell for a powerful beautiful amazing general who leads thousands who became the first very weapon of the grim reaper, who became a loving, kind, amazing mother who has the patience of a saint when it comes to dealing with the world." Death explains to Ava.
"Death…" Touched, Ava whimpers, blinking back the tears threatening to fall.
"I love you sweetheart never forget that." Death reminds her.
"Death!" Dramatically, Ava cries the waterfalls descend down, come crashing down as he sighs sweat dropping, holding her trying to console her through her miserable mood.
"Um…am I interrupting?" Shyly, Sid intervenes making them both jolt up at the voice turning towards the zombie.
"Oh…Sid what is it?" Death questions him unfazed as the two stand before the zombie.
"I thought I'd come…give my report on Crona." Sheepishly, Sid scratches the back of his neck.
"Of course how is Crona? Oh? You look down did something happen?" Death points out.
"Ahh! Sorry! About that there are still several problems but I think Crona's having fun and coming along fine. We heard from Azusa that there's a minor incident there. As such Crona is heading over to the Czech Republic. I sent Crona along to observe Maka's extracellular lesson." Sid reports to the two.
"What kind of incident?" Intrigued, Ava arches a brow.
"80% of the villagers are expert golem craftsman called enchanters it's a strange village. In that village the oldest golem has suddenly started acting violently. But fortunately, there ended up being little damage." Sid reveals making both their eyes expand.
"Wait…are you serious?" Scowling, Ava does a double take.
"Serious about what?" Sid furrows his brow.
"Eh? Wait a minute Sid are you being serious? Is that true?" Death repeats as both he and Ava share a look of unease.
"Is what true?" Sid questions lost alarmed even at both his superiors reactions.
"Golems can only perform defences to protect something…they're moving shields so to speak it's unthinkable that a golem could become violent and destroy something. The revival of Asura…Golems running wild…it could be that this has something to do with the wavelength of insanity, Sid contact Professor Stein I want to ask his opinion." Sternly, Death informs Sid.
"The truth is the contents of the heart are pitch black that's the truth! Really now you're quite an impatient woman. But it appears that…the secret's out…" Smirking, the male leading Maka, Crona and Soul stops in his tracks. He has a bland tan skin tone and has a varied types of piercings, along with a metal necklace. His eyes and hair color are that of a calm brown. His hair spikes, in several places, like a series of blades and possesses sharp teeth. He typically is outfitted with blue-green jeans, a white sleeveless collar shirt, black boots, and brown enchanter gloves that extends halfway between his elbows and his shoulder with the cuff folded over.
"I've been waiting for this moment for 800 years using the enchanter techniques I encoded my memories into a genetic program I entrusted to my child. Almost 30 shitty boring human lifetimes have spun by along the way there were many times I thought I'd go insane…" Irritably, the male manically grins before the two as the chain of a saw slashes against Soul in his scythe form as Maka holds him, the two fighting as the golem picks up the saw form of Giriko, swinging and slashing at Soul's scythe form.
"800 years what are you saying?" Shocked, Maka gawks at the age, how could someone so young be so old? How could a human live for over 800 years? Only a witch could do that and he didn't look like a witch.
"For the purpose of opposing that Shibusen with its spiritual power and overwhelming organisational ability for the purpose of storing up power but that's over now. It's time to say goodbye to this good child self I'm not sorry to see him go. Do you remember the first thing I said to you? You're looking for this villages oldest golem aren't you? Come with me I'll tell you all about it hahaha how gullible are you?! I can't believe it! there's nobody that helpful after a normal beginning to our meeting. This is a kick in the guys ain't it!? Ain't it!? And now I'll take you from behind right?" Mockingly, Miriko sneers as he snarls as the golem tries to attack Maka from behind but she is thrown back against the pillar crying out from the sheer brute force of both golem and chainsaw.
"I'll rip out your guts!" Giriko snarls as the golem slowly approaches just as Maka lies on the floor wincing grimacing as she tries to stand but…
"Oi Maka what's happening!?" Soul calls out lost when noting her struggle.
"Crona?" Maka's eyes widen when seeing the person before her, standing tall, sword in hand, smaller than before but still they stand before the bloodthirsty golem.
"I'll protect you…Maka." Crona promises bringing a faint ruby red tint to the awestruck Maka but that's swiftly discarded when Crona fights the beast but not even his black blood can fight against the levels the chainsaw has.
"Maka! What's going on!?" Soul calls out to the girls struggling on the floor, fidgeting.
"My body…I can't move…" Struggling, Maka whimpers.
"What!?" Soul gets out of his form, turning back to his human form as he looks over at her only then for his eyes to widen when he places his hand on her…
"Dammit why!? Shit what do…what's this!? Threads!?" Confused, Soul gapes at the thin stripes of thread holding his partner down, lost now more than ever.
"The spiders are gathering around the golem what's going on?" Mystified, Maka points out grimacing at the sheer sight of the spides scurrying towards the golem, climbing, collecting themselves around it forming some sort of fleshly black creature hung on the golem, twitching, spasming.
"It's almost like a black carpet." Stunned, Soul whispers watching the spiders convulse into something strange.
"So the spiders across the world have finally gathered. I've waited for this." Grinning, Giriko smirks smugly at the sight.
"Death…" Anxiously, Ava crosses her arms over her chest, her fingertips digging deep into the bundle of fabric that were her sleeves, turning towards her husband trying to blink back, dismiss the faint figure from behind, bandages coiled around the figure smirking sadistically at her making her flinch from the sheer sight of him.
"I know I have a bad feeling too." Tense, Death confesses as Ava blinks making her sigh shakily, slumping her shoulders.
"Lord and lady Death we need to talk." The mirror lights up as the two turn towards the mirror where Stein stands before them, looking dishevelled.
"Did you figure something out?" Death asks him, placing his hand on Ava's shoulder noting his wife's tight tense body.
"Yes I believe the heretic witch Arachne scattered her body after placing her soul inside the golem that gone crazy in lu village. Even here I can feel it. The madness inside me. Her madness is clawing its way inside my body." Struggling, Stain seethes intensely slamming his teeth down, nibbling, gnawing at his bottom lip convulsing, placing his hand on his arm trying to deal with the waves.
"I know its hard but try to endure it." Ava tells Stein.
"This incident is too much for Maka and the others to handle I'll head to the Czech Republic at once too." Stein insists.
"Now, now don't be so hasty. We had a bad feeling about this too you see…so measures have already been taken." Calmly, Death assures Stein causing the mirror to flick briefly as Ava's gold glance to the side shaking, grimacing as she slams her eyes shut, sensing that wavelength anyway, even from here, she can sense it, she can sense her…
"Madam Morrigan allow me to just say how stupendous your research has helped the world, its thanks to you and your creations that we witches have survived throughout the ages." Politely, the younger woman bows before Morrigan alongside the witch are other follows by the witch's side bowing before Morrigan standing tall and proud, where either side of her stands a frowning Ava and Ingram, younger versions sharing the same look of unease while their mother smirks down at the people below.
"Thank you." Smoothly, Morrigan acknowledges them as they bow before her, eyeing the offering out on display, proud presented before her as she silently raises her hand, dismissing them. They leave them, the offer on the table.
"…Mother…" Worriedly, Ava and Ingram step forward furrowing their brow at the woman once the people leave. They follow after the woman blanking them out turning her back to her children, heading down to her laboratory.
"What is it?" Bored, she decides to entertain the two, sharing the same look of worry.
"I don't like this, I don't like her." Honestly, Ingram confesses crossing his arms over his chest.
"That is enough." Sharply, Morrigan stops in her steps scowling at Ingram causing him to flinch from her cold curt tone.
"Mother please its clear she's only after your research!" Pleadingly, Ingram begs his mother, his hues glassy pained.
"Ingram is right mother." Ava agrees stepping forward, equally as worried for her mother only to falter from her chuckle.
"I know." Amused, Morrigan places the back of her hand to her mouth muffling a snicker escaping her lips.
"Then why work for that whore? It's clear she's close to thar scumbag Death!" Disgusted, Ingram sneers scowling crossing his arms over his chest, poison dripping down his tongue.
"Some see her as a concubine to that thing we cannot allow her near your research." Resolute, Ava agrees nodding her head hoping for her mother to understand.
"Which is what you will do." Smirking, Morrigan tells the two.
"P-Pardon?" Perplexed, Ingram blurts out as both Ingram and Ava share a look of bewilderment between them.
"You don't expect me to actually waste my time on her do you?" Chuckling, Morrigan shakes her head snickering at the thought.
"Then…then why entertain the idea in the first place?" Perturbed, Ava further furrows her brow befuddled.
"She is a popular figure in the witch council, with her on our side we may be able to get more followers for my research. Don't you see I'm doing this for you two." Smoothly, she turns to her children, snatching both their hands.
"For…us? "The two share a look, staring down confused by her hand holding them both squeezing them.
"I know how painful it's been for you two, I didn't find the procedure easy on my blood no less but I did what I did for your safety, for your survival in that cruel world where they hunted us down for sport. What I did was for your own good it hurt me but now we can perform these on others. You won't have to be the selfless souls giving you all for the witches no more." Morrigan explains bowing her head as she rubs patterns into their hands with her thumb making them both grimace from her words.
"Or she could steal it and take it for herself." Huffing, Ingram bows his head childishly puffing his cheeks out.
"It's alright, I understand you questioning me despite me looking out for you and for your efforts just like I had done when we ran throughout the land, me making sure you two were fed while most nights I would be starving myself so you had food on your plates, so people like Lord Death wouldn't come and hunt you down. You think it wasn't panful for me changing you? But I did so you would be protected in this world but I understand questioning me I get it. It's not like I protected you throughout your life. It wasn't like your father died so you two could love, so you two and me could escape." Hurt, Morrigan crosses her arms over her chest, removing herself form them both making them grimace, glancing to the side looking longingly at their mother, trying to reach out but they both falter flinching from it, sharing a look of uncertainty of confliction on them.
"Mother we…" Worriedly, Ingram begins.
"We didn't mean…" Apologetic, Ava joins in but…
"It's okay for you two to question the person who took you away from those monsters who killed your father. Who would have stoned you, Hung you, set you ablaze, throw you into the dark depths of a lake?" Coldly, Morrigan cuts them both off as they flinch at the memory, wincing when remembering the people screaming, shouting, screeching, remembering seeing so many families calling out to their loved ones, some trying to save them only to be pulled back or meet the same fate as they were tortured alive, remembering the stench of iron, their screams, the blazing pyre, the stench of charcoal, of pork hanging heavily in the air.
"I…I…" Ava begins but falters from her brother's dry heave, seeing him clutch his throat, the vomit trying to crawl up his throat while she smoothly swallows her own at the grimy gruesome memory..
"Oh dear it seems someone's gotten a little chubby." Tutting, Morrigan sighs sadly disappointed pinching Ava's cheek making her wince from the sharp sting.
"P-Pardon?" Timidly, Ava winces.
"And deaf too? No one likes a chubby bunny nor a deaf one at that." Tutting, Morrigan lightly slaps Ava's cheek who winces when feeling the sharp sting to her cheek.
"Mother I…I'm sorry." Sorrowfully, both Ava and Ingram bow their head.
"You shouldn't apologise to me my dear. Know what I say is out of love and care, I tolerate your flaws just as I do Ingrams but the others wouldn't, those people would do the same as they did to your father." Firmly, Morrigan reminds the two flinching form her words.
"Mother…" Ava begins but is swiftly cut off by her mother…once more.
"We'll need to cut that down but don't worry what I do is for your sake understand?" Morrigan takes note of making Ava squirm slightly form her words.
"I…I'm sorry mother, I understand." Ava nods her head in understanding, crossing her arms over her chest, ignoring the sharp sting to her chest.
"So you won't question me anymore?" Smirking, she quirks her head to the side.
"I was foolish to do so in the first place." Pained, Ava bows her head ashamed almost as she feels her mother's tender touch around her neck, around the chocker coiled around her neck, feeling her fingertips fidget around the bell, releasing a small chirpy chime as she tugs her forward.
"Exactly I'm so happy we came to this understanding my little petal. Now then Ingram I take it you'll clean up your own mess." Gently, Morrigan whispers to the young Ava leaning into the icy cold pristine pillow of her mother's hands, ingoing the faint stench of iron upon her fingertips.
"Yes mother." Ingram heaves, catching his breath, kneeling down to the stain below. Morrigan swiftly swipes her hand from her daughter's cheek as if it were a sudden swipe away making Ava longingly lean into the touch desiring more. But only meeting her mother's teasing small smirk. Smirking, she aloofly brushes Ingram off, bowing his head dejected. Silently, he kneels down to tend to the vomit. She solemnly follows her mother, knowing that gesture anywhere as she grimaces from the brief tug of the collar, following her mother away, leaving Ingram to clean up his own mess.
"The kishin is revived, insanity is running wild across the world! It's become a grand age while you've been sleeping Arachne…" Smirking, the spiders disperse as Giriko greets, welcoming back to the world, the woman before them all…
