Chapter 8: This is Our Time!

Jared51: Either give everyone chakra or don't give to anyone because you're way of nerfing sick. And his placement on entrance exam and quirk exam make no sense. Entrance exam he had 120 points because you said his hero points and rescue points were equal and izuku counted 60 points. Bakugou got over a hundred which implies he got less than 111 points. You should specify if he beat izuku. Sorry story okay but the logic for it confuses me. All anime have the form logic that it follows. Once you understand that you enjoy the show or you will question every time mc beats a bad guy. One piece logic is the craziest but I understand most of it. Sometimes I lose track like when author three in haki and then finally explained it did get the gist of it. Time skips the worst for me because most MCs have huge growth rates and still struggle with side characters that didn't seem that strong before when we saw the side characters fight another only to not see them do anything impressive. Another problem I have is that mc will have an ability to help fight the boss which is op for a long time and didn't bust it out until the final fight when they should have used it when they were getting beat only to have luck to get through a fight. Ignore my dumbass rant do your thing but this is why I stopped reading this story. Don't let me stop you.

Dragon Emperor0: Uh. Just so you know, almost everyone in Class 1-A will get some form of Chakra ability in season 2. If you were patient you'd see that. It's part of balanced narrative pacing.

ThermalsniperN7: Right. Can't do something like this right off the bat.

DanDrake: Great chapter though I do wonder how Izuku will get around the blindness that the MS causes since he doesn't exactly have a relative to swap eyes with to get EMS

ThermalsniperN7: Don't worry. We planned ahead for that.

Dragon Emperor0: Here's a hint. It involves Danzo, his collection of Sharingan Eyes, Nana Shimura, and Gran Torino.

ThanosGaming: Dang, didn't think you'd use that 5 men one girl couch meme to reality with Shadow Clones (like that one with Hinata). They're gonna be scarred for life. Oh, and to put perspective on the Bijuu

Shukaku 1 - Magnet Release (Earth & Wind) which include Sand manipulation of varying types (Iron, Metallic or nonmetallic sand)

Matatabi 2 - Fire Release, reshaped as mouse or cat hairball. Blue colored.

Isobu 3 - Water Release and Coral Creation

Son Goku 4 - Lava Release (Fire & Earth), and Taijutsu Martial Arts on Lava attacks. Can form Lava on any ground. Kokuo 5 - Vapour Release (Water & Fire), forming bodily steam to increase pressure on attacks or muscles... Granting strength and speed. Saiken 6 - Water Release, Bubble formation, Acid spray and Poison injection to water/mucus/acids (bubbles)

Chomei 7 - Supposedly had been a Wind release due to wings and flight, can make Fanned Wind blades and emits bright glittery powered that be exploded at will.

Gyuki 8 - Supposedly Water Release due to Octopus/Squid Ink Creation.

Kurama 9 - Supposedly Fire Release, Wind Release or Scorch Release (Fire & Wind) based on the actual myth of the 9 tails to create Foxfire.

Those are what I think for now. Also, can you believe that Kishimoto designated Explosion Release (Bakuton) as a Kekkei Genkai combo of Thunder and Earth release? It could have made sense if it was Fire and Thunder but why Earth, right? Or it could be Plasma Release right?

Dragon Emperor0: Thanks for the reminder. I always had a little trouble remembering what all Nine of the Bijuu had ability wise. This really helps.

Joanne Frances Tiano Cajilig: 6 jinchuurikis only 3 left, Man I hope katsuki falls in love with a girl like say Erin? And the lemon... (fainted)

ThermalsniperN7: We'll think about who to pair Bakugo with. Also, nice to see we got such a reaction.

Dragon Emperor0: Yeah… Hmm, now what kind of woman would be a good fit for a reincarnation of Ashura like Katsuki?

Devil Dragon Stand Knight: So Tomura has Shukaku, Katsuki has Kurama, Himiko has Matatabi, Eijirou has Son Goku, Mina has Saiken and Shouji has Gyuki. That just leaves Isobu, Kokou, and Chomei. I look forward to seeing who's who!

Dragon Emperor0: The latter two will be people in Class 1-B. Won't say who. And as for Isobu… He's undecided right now.

ThermalsniperN7: Uh, I think you forgot the plan I had for him.

SuperShadic2002: Oh boy, when one brother/Reincarnation gets laid, the other just has to comment on it...poor Katsuki. Wonder how he's going to deal with Mr. Tall, Orange and Fluffy too...yikes.

Dragon Emperor0: Believe it or not, Katsuki and Kurama will get along a lot better than Naruto did this early in the game. Though why this is so is a bit obvious and unobvious at the same time.

ThermalsniperN7: I guess that's one way of putting it…

-Toga Household, not long after Himiko's date-

Himiko sighed as she headed downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast. She'd gotten back from the love hotel the previous morning and was still having a bit of a limp from her and Izuku's little… romp.

' I'm his for life now.' She thought as she entered the kitchen. Akiko was making her breakfast and soon noticed that she still had her limp, which concerned her.

"Himiko, are you still limping? How bad did you hurt yourself?" The woman asked.

"Oh, don't worry. It wasn't that bad. It'll go away soon." Himiko told her mother, not wanting her to know she was sexually active.

"I hope you're right." The woman sighed as she fixed breakfast. After having her first meal of the day, the blondie skipped off to the train station to head to UA, when someone suddenly spoke to her.

"So, you are my Jinchuruki?" A female voice questioned in her head, making her stop just short of the transit gate.

"What the-?!" She hissed quietly as she looked around.

"I'm in your head, dear." The voice stated. This made the copycat girl blink as she went through the transit gate.

'Who are you?' She questioned.

"I think you already know." The voice returned again, making the girl nod as she boarded the train.

'Matatabi, The two Tails.' Himiko stated. 'Why are you talking to me now?' She questioned.

"Because I just woke up after you tapped into my chakra for the first time." Matatabi replied as her host rode the train to her destination. "I've also looked through your memories, Himiko. The world really has changed while we've been gone, especially with these quirks." She continued. Then her tone became a teasing one. "And that sexy green bean boyfriend of yours." She teased with an audible grin.

This made the female Jinchuruki nearly fall over when she said that, not expecting to be teased. 'Will you stop that?! People are staring!' She exclaimed as the cat just chuckled.

Rewind to the night before school was let back in session, Izuku had been spending the remaining day or two experimenting with his Mangekyo Sharingan. And discovered another one of his abilities: Kotoamatsukami, the ability of Shisui Uchiha. Which were in both eyes. But unfortunately it seemed like he still hadn't unlocked all of his abilities yet.

Right now he had his left eye's Kotoamatsukami crow construct out, stroking its oily feathers as it cooed in his lap.

'Things have really changed since the USJ.' He mused internally. Himiko was now his girlfriend, and so was Ochako. It was interesting how a villain attack could change things in a way.

As the Crow disappeared into his eye again, he then decided to try something he'd been meaning to pick back up after the battle trial. That being trying to course varying percentages of One for All through his entire body.

Standing up, he focused his body as if he were about to focus his chakra, before he started sending five percent of his power coursing through him like electricity. Green lightning flickered around him as his body glowed.

Fast forward to present day and everyone was in class again, one of the many topics being the shock of the fact that they were Jinchuruki, to discussions of picking up ninja training, and how they were getting along with said Tailed Beasts in the first place.

"What should we start our ninja training on?" Toru asked Izuku on almost everyone's behalf. Everyone was curious since they wanted to pick up the craft after their ordeal at the USJ.

"I'd say basic chakra control, followed with a few standard techniques, and then move up to standard nature transformation Jutsu." The boy suggested. "For those of us who are Jinchuruki or already have some training, it should be fairly easy." He added.

"Additionally you should all consider taking up nature transformation moves and standard Jutsu that may compliment your quirks. That way you'll be able to not only learn them twice as fast, but also create new styles that no one else has." Katsuki chimed in.

"Sounds good to me." Kirishima nodded.

"Guess I better start looking into lightning jutsu." Kaminari mused.

"I wonder what kind of Taijutsu style I can create?" Ojiro mused as ideas went through his head.

"Hey, how about Strong Fist?" Toru suggested.

"Sounds good. Augmenting it to compliment my quirk should be simple." The blondie nodded.

"What should I study after the basics?" Momo asked curiously. Izuku thought for a moment before replying.

"I'd suggest storage seals. They're a relatively simple form of fuinjutsu and should help you in regards to your quirk." He explained.

"Hmmm, simple and practical. I like it." The girl nodded.

"I trained a bit with Gunhead at a gym with Himiko. Do you think I should learn something to compliment that?" Ochako asked.

"Yeah, like maybe Fire Style for me?" Himiko wondered. "Vlad King taught me basic knife fighting too." She added.

"I think we can work something out for everyone in the class." Izuku told his two girlfriends. "But first, I need to know: how many of you have heard your respective tenant's voices?" He asked, wanting to address that particular issue quickly.

"Yeah/Yes/Yesterday/Yep/Unfortunately." The Six Jinchuruki nodded.

"Okay, I need to know what your respective first interactions with them were like." The green haired Uchiha requested. Himiko went first.

"I heard Matatabi's voice on my way to the transit station. Turns out she's a huge tease." She explained with a groan. That got winces from a few people while the Bijuu only chuckled.

"I wish you the best of luck in persevering with her presence." Tokoyami told her.

"Well I think it's karma after what you and Midoriya did at the movi—!" Jiro started to say before Kaminari covered her mouth.

"Okay Jiro, we get it." He told her. Izuku raised an eyebrow at them before he realized what Jiro almost said, but shrugged.

"Anyway, I heard Saiken's voice just before I went to sleep last night. He's… odd, for lack of a better term." Mina spoke up with a confused look on her pink face.

"Hey!" The slug said indignantly.

"Son Goku and I got along really well. Turns out, he likes manly stuff just like me." Kirishima grinned, his mental self giving the giant red ape a fist bump.

"Damn right, bro!" Said Bijuu grinned.

"Gyuki and I are getting along so far." Shoji spoke up. "In fact, he finds my lifestyle much more his speed in comparison to his previous hosts."

"Minimalism is the perfect lifestyle for us simple folk. Don't you agree, Shoji?" The Bull octopod hybrid chuckled.

'Indeed it is, Gyuki.' The teen mentally nodded.

"Good to hear." Izuku nodded before looking at Katsuki. "Kacchan? How'd yours and Kurama's first interaction go?" He asked.

"... The guy's an asshole." Katsuki responded flatly, which made everyone look at him skeptically.

"You sure you weren't the one who provoked him?" Himiko questioned with a smirk. "I mean, you do have that kind of effect on people." She added.

"Oh, I'm sure, alright. The first thing he said was, and I quote, "This is my new Jinchuriki? An explosive brat? What a joke!" And then he went silent again." The Pomeranian bomber growled while doing an imitation of Kurama's voice.

"That's an embellishment and you know it, brat." The Kitsune retorted in his head.

'Oh shut up and go back to sleep!' The boy barked again.

"... Okay." Izuku said awkwardly before Iida rushed into the room.

"It's almost time for class to begin! Everyone, get to your seats!" He exclaimed, failing to realize everyone was already seated.

"Uh, you're the only one standing." Sero pointed out. As Iida grumbled all the way to his seat, Mina leaned back in her seat to talk to Tsu.

"Hey Tsu, who do you think is gonna teach our class today?" She asked.

"No idea, Mr. Aizawa is probably still recovering from the USJ attack." The frog girl noted.

"Crazy how famous that made us, huh?" Kaminari added.

"Only because we're in the hero course, get over yourself." Jiro retorted, right as the doors opened and Aizawa walked in, his arms in casts and a sling, and his face completely covered in bandages.

"Mr. Aizawa, what are you doing here?!" The majority of the class shouted in unison.

"You can't take a break even when you're recovering." The rational man stated.

"I'm glad you're okay, Mr. Aizawa. You took a pretty bad beating after all." Himiko stated.

"I've taken worse, but that's besides the point. Your battle isn't over yet." He stated, causing everyone to tense.

"Wait, does that mean…?" Izuku gasped.

"Oh please don't let it be more bad guys!" Ochkako and Himiko gasped.

"The UA Sports Festival is coming up, in three weeks time to be exact." The Erasure Hero responded, which caused the kids to let out sighs of relief.

"Why would you scare us like that?!" Toru complained. Seconds later, everyone started reacting.

"Alright! Let's go kick some ass—!" Kirishima exclaimed before he was interrupted by Kaminari putting a hand in his face.

"Hold on, are you sure that's a good idea?" He questioned.

"Is it really a good idea to have the festival after the attack on the USJ?" Himiko asked in concern.

"The Sports Festival is comparable to the Olympics in terms of ratings in Japan. Additionally it also acts as a way for you all to show off your skills and possibly get scouted. We were never going to cancel it just because of a villain attack." The man explained.

"But I assume you'll at least have better security compared to past years, right?" Izuku questioned.

"That's correct." Aizawa nodded.

"That sounds pretty important, getting scouted I mean." Himiko noted to Momo.

"Yeah, depending on how well they do, some people get put in agencies as sidekicks after graduation." Kaminari chimed in.

"A lot of people do try to go independent, but most end up becoming eternal sidekicks." Jiro added before looking at Kaminari. "You'll probably end up that way with how dumb you are." She told him, much to the blondie's dismay.

"Shut up!" He hissed.

"One chance a year, three chances in a lifetime. No aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival." Aizawa states. "So you better not slack off on your training." He added.

"Yes sir!" The class chorused in unison.

(Later)

Lunchtime rolled around and Himiko, Ochako, Iida and Izuku were walking together to the cafeteria, when the successor of All Might decided to ask his two girlfriends something he'd been meaning to ask for a while now.

"Girls, what are your reasons for becoming heroes?" The Uchiha heir asked curiously with Iida wondering the same.

"Umm, well… It's actually kinda embarrassing." Ochako said sheepishly.

"I want to become a hero to prove that even those of use with villainous quirks have merit in this society." The blondie responded.

"And… I wanna get rich." Ochako added. "But not in the way you think! I just… wanna help my parents out. They're having a hard time at work and it makes us real poor." She amended. "Even despite that, they've always been so supportive. So I just wanna help them, ya know?" She added.

"What job do your parents work in?" Iida wondered.

"Construction. Why?" The brunette replied. That's when it clicked for the other three.

"Wait a minute, Ochako, if you get licensed…" Himiko trailed off.

"She can use her quirk to float everything!" Iida finished in realization.

"Yeah, and they can sell all the heavy equipment!" Izuku nodded with a smile.

"I know! That's exactly what I've been trying to tell my parents since I was little. But they never listen!" The Gravity girl groaned in dismay.

"Well that's just asinine." The shapeshifter states, crossing her arms.

"No argument here." Matatabi chimed in.

"Not the wording I'd use, but it is rather… inconsiderate?" The speedster said, unsure of how to finish his sentence.

"I think the word you're looking for is irrational, Iida." Izuku offered. "To quote Mr. Aizawa." He added.

Though before anyone else could say anything further, All Might came out of nowhere. "Young Midoriya, is here!" He exclaimed as he rounded a corner.

"What the—? Why are you here, All Might?" Izuku asked as he, his girlfriends and the speedster looked at him in surprise.

"Lunch!" The man replied as he held up a bento that was wrapped in a blue cloth… that had little bunnies on it. "You and Young Toga wanna eat with me?" He offered.

"Pfffft, that's adorable!" Ochako snorted mirthfully.

(Later)

As the three sat down with their respective lunches, All Might deflated and started fixing them some tea.

"Wait, you can only use your power for forty five minutes now?!" Himiko gasped as she almost dropped the piece of teriyaki beef filled Tamagoyaki that she was feeding to Izuku as they shared lunches.

"Yep. That Nomu character was a real tough customer, even with what Young Midoriya did." The man nodded. "As it stands, I can barely be All Might for an hour and a half." He continued.

"I'm so sorry, All Might. I wish I could have helped you better." Izuku apologized, only for the man to start laughing.

"You got nothing to be sorry about, seriously. Man, we are alike, you and me." His mentor told him. "Tea's getting cold." He reminded the two as he got up, allowing them to continue their lunch.

"You kinda are." The shapeshifter giggled lightly before turning back to Izuku. "Alright, say ah." She grinned, which made the boy blush at what she was doing.

Izuku humored his lover and opened his mouth so she could put the food in. All Might watched them and chuckled at their interaction before he got to his feet.

"Would I be correct in assuming you two know how the Sports Festival works?" He asked them.

"Yeah—There's three rounds. The first two are a bunch of preliminary challenges chosen at random that whittle the contestants down for the final showdown. All the classes participate and are separated by year." Izuku nodded as he swallowed the omelette he just ate before he shared some packaged seasoning rice with Himiko—who let out a cute, yet slightly erotic "ah" as she took it.

"It's basically a—big round robin tournament." The blonde added. "King Vlad told me he'd even help me train for it." She continued.

"Correct." All Might nodded. "It'll also act as your debut, Young Midoriya." He added much to the teen's confusion.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Not only are you the next All Might, you're also the heir apparent of three ninja clans. The whole city- no, the whole country- will be watching." The lanky man stated firmly. "Some heroes go for the top while others settle. Knowing you, you'll head for the top without a second thought. And when you do, I want you to announce to the world that the Uchihas have returned with a proud "I am here"!" He declared, which lit a fire in Izuku's eyes.

"Right. I won't let you down, All Mi—MMPH!" The Shinobi nodded before Himiko suddenly slipped him a taste of her Miso soup via mouth to mouth. "*cough cough* Himiko! What'd you do that for?!" He scolded her, though he honestly wasn't complaining.

"You're talking too much. Let's worry about that after we've finished our meals, okay Izu?" The feline fatale told him.

"Okay." He conceded as the two continued their lunch together. The display made his mentor chuckle in amusement.

'Kids these days…' He mused internally.

Right around the same time in the morning in a rather rundown apartment building with only two stories in a different part of the country, an elderly man in a simple white and yellow costume had himself a breakfast of Taiyaki pastries.

As a news report played in the background, he read a letter sent to him by All Might, and his reaction to the man choosing a successor descended from three particularly notable ninja clans and having a particularly powerful variant of one of the clan's dojutsu, caught his attention.

Getting up, picked up his cane and walked over to a loose tile in the floor before he lifted it and pulled out a very well protected box, which had the Leaf Village insignia on it.

Opening the box, there sat two vials, each with one perfectly preserved Mangekyo Sharingan eye. Though which Uchiha they were from seemed to be unknown.

"Seems that old Danzo made a good call here, huh Nana?" The man questioned idly as he put the box back into its hiding place and went back to his breakfast.

After classes were done for the day, Class 1-A was faced with something confusing. There were dozens of other students outside their class, and most of them had no clue as to why.

"Um, why are there so many people outside our class?" Ochako wondered.

"Are they trying to hold us hostage?!" Himiko questioned indignantly.

"Calm down, They're just here to scout out the competition." Katsuki states. "We survived fighting a bunch of villains, including a Jinchuruki and happen to be some, ourselves. One even being a powerful ninja. they probably wanna know if we're the real deal." He continued before glaring at the students. "Well, now you do. Now move it, extras." He added, which caused both Himiko, Ochako and Izuku to faceplant/facepalm while Iida's face contorted in horror.

"You can't just call people that!" He exclaimed.

"You think you're on another level than us?!" One of the students from the crowd shouted. Katsuki just glared at the speaker while he asked Kurama a question.

'Oi, Kurama. You up for an intimidation display?' He asked, and got a laugh in return.

"Pft, not a chance. But… Eh, why not? Least it'd give me something to do." The kantankerous fox said as he gave Katsuki the intimidation flare he needed. Fangs, fox eyes, pronounced whisker marking reminiscent of Naruto Uzumaki's and long claws.

"What the-?!" The same student shouted in shock as he and several other students backed away.

"See this? This is proof that I know I'm on a different level. A few others are, too." Katsuki said with a glare. "Now move it, extras!" He barked as he left, leaving a stunned group of students behind as he left while his flare receded.

"Damn… that was one of the manliest things I've seen him do." Kirishima muttered in appreciation.

"Knowing my big brother, he helped out to entertain himself." Son Goku stated. Izuku meanwhile just walked up to the students, nervously scratching his neck.

"Heh, sorry about him." He apologized, though he was subconsciously shifting his eyes into Sharingan and Mangekyo Sharingan Mode to do his own intimidation.

"Yeah. Bakugo doesn't have much of a filter." Himiko added.

"He sounds like an ass." A boy said as he made his way through the crowd. He looked kinda like Aizawa almost, with vertical wavy purple hair and eyes that had bags under them. "So are all of the people in the Hero Course delusional, or is it just him?" He questioned, seemingly unfazed by the sight of Izuku's Mangekyo eyes.

"I've known him for years. It's not a delusion if it's able to be backed." Izuku replied.

"Is that so?" The boy mused. "My name is Hitoshi Shinso, and the rest of us are just seeing what the Hero Course is like, especially considering you fought villains." He continued.

"Yeah, we figured." Himiko noted.

"But personally? I'm here to issue a warning. I wasn't able to get into the Hero Course because my quirk wasn't suited for the tests. So I had to choose another track, such is life." Shinso shrugged. "But, I have another chance. If people like us do well enough in the Festival, we can be transferred to this course, meaning people will need to be moved out to make room." He continued. "So better be careful, or I'll steal your spots before you notice. Consider this a declaration of war." He added, before walking away.

Izuku watched him go before he set his gaze on the rest of the crowd and glared, causing them to back up from his gaze.

"If you think you can steal our seats in the Hero Course, then I hope you're ready to fight for them. None of us will give them to you. Especially not me!" He declared before he used wall walking to get around the stunned crowd.

(Later)

In the three weeks leading up to the Sports Festival, all of Class A trained both their quirks and whatever Ninja skills they could.

For example, Mina was being assisted by Saiken to create several new Acid Style special moves. One of which being something she called the "Acid Raindance" Jutsu, which put her dancing skills to the test in creating a small cloud overhead with water release that rained stinging acid down on her opponent….

Much to the chagrin of poor Aoyama who had just gotten his belt polished, as the acid ate away at his precious support item.

Ochako, meanwhile, had trained heavily in Taijutsu and learned the Strong Fist with Izuku. She knew the basics of martial arts and a few advanced sets thanks to her constant workouts with Himiko and Gunhead—which made her pick up the art much faster than the average person. As well as a few basic chakra moves like wall and water walking, but that was as far as she could go.

But her Taijutsu on the other hand—that's where she could really shine. Meanwhile, Kirishima was toughening up his body while also practicing Lava Release with Son Goku's assistance. And much like Mina, he was indeed a fast learner.

Shoji meanwhile focused on his quirk and mastering the various beast modes, and Katsuki took to simply trying to learn to turn his beast cloak on and off at will while also honing in his other skills and quirk moves.

Elsewhere, Kaminari was studying and trying to replicate various Lighting Jutsu, most notably the Raikage's Lightning Body. And each time he failed, until the third attempt where he managed to get it right.

Next was Momo, who studied various objects and tools while also making several of them to seal in summoning scrolls to use later. Tsu, meantime, spent her time working on her quirk and some water style moves.

The other students followed a similar pattern, with Koda even making several summoning contracts with powerful animals. And Shoto even creating a sort of line of Ice Release Jutsu that were all inspired by two people: Gaara and Haku.

Finally, Himiko was currently doing combat training with Vlad King, as well as Fire Style Ninjutsu Training with Izuku. Matatabi also helped with her beast mode.

"Here it comes, my fourth attempt!" She shouted as she flipped over Vlad and made several hand signs while upside down. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" She yelled.

Under normal circumstances, the fire would have been a normal reddish orange. But due to Matatabi's presence, the fireball came out in black and blue as it collided with a target.

"Excellent work, Himiko!" Izuku called.

"Now, try the shuriken maneuver we've been practicing!" Vlad told her as she landed.

Himiko nodded as she took out four shrunken from her pouch and got them ready. Jumping into the air and started turning into a flip, before she threw the eight shuriken at two second intervals.

This caused them to hit against each other mid-flight and change trajectory, which made them nail their targets at varying degrees of accuracy. With the final one being a bullseye.

"Very nice, Himiko. Well done." Vlad King praised, impressed with his student's talent.

"Couldn't have said it better myself." Izuku nodded, also very pleased with his girlfriend's progress.

"The fact that you can learn this much in just a few weeks is very impressive." Matatabi stated, also impressed with her Jinchuriki's progress.

"Well, I do have great teachers." The blondie smiled.

(Later)

Upon the passing of the three weeks, the day of the festival finally arrived. And now, Izuku was about to head to school.

"I'll be rooting for you, Izuku. Do your best." Inko told him.

"I intend to, mom." Izuku nodded with a smirk. The green haired mom then hugged her precious little ninja.

"I'm so proud of you for how far you've come. Now go show them what you've got." She said encouragingly as she let him go.

"Will do." He nodded as he left for UA. Later on at the school, everyone changed into their tracksuits, with Izuku giving the special headbands that had the Kanji for "Shinobi" on the forehead protectors.

"Aw man, I was really hoping to wear my costume." Mina whined.

"At least there's a sense of equality like this." Ojiro commented.

"Almost, considering we've got these new headbands. Thanks by the way, Midoriya." Kirishima said as he wore his headband like a belt.

"They were pretty simple to make." Izuku shrugged. "Plus this way we'll all see each other as equals." He added.

Shoto looked at his own headband and glared at it before he tied it on his forehead, while Katsuki wore his around his neck.

"What do you think they'll have for us?" Sato questioned.

"No idea. It could be anything." Sero shrugged.

"No matter what they throw at us, we must persevere." Tokoyami observed in true chunibyo fashion.

"Right." Shoji nodded. It was at this point that Iida entered the room.

"Everyone! Get your game faces on, we'll be entering the arena soon!" The Class Rep states. This caused the mood to turn serious as Shoto stood up.

"Midoriya." He spoke up, getting the green haired teen's attention.

"Yeah? What's up Todoroki?" Izuku questioned.

"From an objective standpoint, it's blatantly clear that you're stronger than me by a longshot." The two-toned boy stated as everyone watched them. "But I'm not so easily deterred. I'm not backing down. I'll do whatever it takes to beat you." He declared.

"Whoa, what's with these declarations of war lately?" Kaminari questioned.

"Yeah, what gives? Why're you picking fights, and right before we get started—." Kirishima added before Shoto literally gave him the cold shoulder, sending a wave of ice chakra through his body that made even Son Goku shiver.

"Don't forget, we're not here to be each other's friends. This isn't a team effort." The two toned boy stated as he started walking away.

"Wait a second, Todoroki." Izuku said, causing Shoto to turn towards him. "I'm not sure what's going through your head. But I think you're selling yourself short." He continued. "We've all trained in ninja styles, and you have probably better potential quirk wise than anyone else has in the Hero course." He added.

"Hey, maybe you're being too hard on yourself, and us." Kirishima said sheepishly.

"What are you saying?" The dual element user questioned.

"You're stronger than you think. It's just a matter of finding that strength." The Uchiha heir stated. "And that goes for all of us, guys. The other classes are going to be coming at us with everything they've got. So we have to be on our game to stand out." He added.

This made everyone seem rather grim, although they knew the boy had a point.

(Elsewhere)

Outside the arena hall in the actual stadium, Present Mic and Aizawa sat in an announcer booth together.

"Hey! Welcome to the UA Sports Festival! Keep your eyes glued to the action you rabid sports fans! Get those cameras ready media hoards! Today we're gonna bring you possibly the greatest collection of students in Sports Festival history." The voice hero called. "I just got one question for you before we start this show: ARE YOU READY?!" He added.

The audience cheered loudly, excited for what was coming. People all over the nation tuned in to watch with glee, eager to see what UA had to offer this year.

"Alright, let's get this show on the road!" The blondie exclaimed. "First up, we've got students that survived a villain attack, and some of them have things from the old days! It's the Hero Course's Class 1-A!" The man continued as the class in question came out of the tunnels, their forehead protectors shining in the light.

This caused Aizawa to try and get a closer look from his vantage point. "... What on earth are they wearing?" He wondered aloud. Present Mic looked closer and managed to figure out what they were.

"Well look at that. Class 1-A's apparently wearing Shinobi era headbands." He noted.

"I think I know who made those…" The erasure hero muttered as he looked at Izuku. As the other classes were introduced, the students all gathered around a podium, where a very… provocatively clad hero stood as the chief umpire.

"Um, should someone talk to Midnight about what she's wearing?" Kirishima remarked with a blush as the men in the audience gushed over said woman.

"Yeah, that costume should come with a warning." Kaminari gulped.

"Yes, someone should tell her that isn't appropriate festival attire." Tokoyami agreed.

Himiko looked at the R-Rated Hero's voluptuous figure, and then at her own comparably underdeveloped figure and pouted, while Ochako looked at the woman with a bit of jealousy, which got the attention of their boyfriend.

"Don't worry. Both of you will be sexy heroines in the future." He told them quietly, causing them to smile at him. "Well, at least more so, that is." He added.

"Silence everyone!" Midnight exclaimed as she waved her flogging whip. "And for the student pledge we have: Izuku Midoriya!" She called.

"Huh? That's weird. I thought it would be Bakugo." Kirishima whispered as Izuku walked onto the podium.

"They probably didn't wanna have someone who caused the other classes to go into a feeding frenzy to represent them." Sero notes.

"Still means they picked someone from the Hero course." A girl from general studies groaned in annoyance. This made Katsuki twitch.

"You got a problem with heroes or somethin, bitch?" The blonde growled, only for Himiko to elbow him in the gut.

"Behave." She hissed.

Izuku walked up to the mic and let out a deep breath as he straightened his headband. "I'll… Keep this brief. It is no secret that we are all here at UA to learn how we can contribute to society, and that in turn takes many forms. Whether you be in the Hero course to defend the people and preserve our way of life. In the support course making gadgets that allow the heroes to be the best they can be. Working in general studies to make sure that no job goes unfinished, or helping boost the economy in the business course." He began. "But I look around at all of you gathered here today, and all I see is… Wasted energy, which is in need of direction and purpose." He continued.

This caused most of the other students to start booing him, until he silenced them by flashing his Sharingan and using the hypnotic eye. "What I am saying is that I think you all have not realized in the grand scheme of things, we are all equally important. No matter how popular one is in comparison to the other, we are all an essential piece of a greater whole. And one cannot work without the others—lest we fall apart in disarray." The Uchiha continued. "To quote an old saying from the Village hidden in the Leaves: "Every villager is vital to the survival of a village. Be they the strongest shinobi, or a humble shopkeeper. No one person is greater than his brother."." He finished.

This seemed to catch everyone else off guard, especially the teachers. "So I hope that we can all remember that, although we have our own reasons for winning, we are all working to the same goal. To better our way of life." He concluded as he bowed. "Thank you." The boy said, stepping off the stage.

His speech made the students look at each other as they remembered their reasons for being in UA. Sometimes competitive spirit made people forget things, and they all felt like they'd forgotten the reason themselves. This soon led to a few students starting to clap before everyone began to, truly moved by the boy's words.

"Well done, Young Midoriya." All Might said as he looked down at his pupil proudly. "Those were words truly worthy of a descendant of the God of Shinobi." He added.

(Later)

Now everyone was getting ready for the first game: an obstacle course, and Ochako in particular was fidgeting with some bandages which were around her arms. The still healing training scars itched under said coverings.

"Are you okay, Ochako?" Izuku asked in concern.

"Yeah. Just the scars itching again." The girl replied as she instinctively scratched at the bandages Clapping his hands together, Izuku held them over the girl's arms.

"Ninja Art: Senju Healing Hand Jutsu!" He exclaimed as he used a bit of chakra to help heal his lover's recovering limbs. "There. Good as new." He smiled.

"But, you're gonna need all the chakra you can—." She protested.

"My chakra reserves are nearly on par with my great grandfather's and growing every day, Ochako. I'll be fine." He told her before they turned back just as the match began. "They won't be that big of a problem for the festival, though. It's more minor than it seems." He added.

As soon as the buzzer sounded, the entire congregation of students all started running towards the doorway and kept going crammed together, while the entirety of Class 1-A used their wall running skills or ninja jumping to get over the mob.

Shoto in particular decided to use this in conjunction with his quirk and freeze the entire hall as he ran across the ceiling. Gaining him an early lead.

"Whoa, look at that! Shoto Todoroki from Class 1-A comes out of the corridor in the lead! Wait, was he running along the wall?" Present Mic exclaimed before noticing how the boy exited the tunnel.

"I believe so." Aizawa nodded, noticing the same thing. "During the USJ attack, Midoriya showed his classmates just how powerful their quirks could be when used in conjunction with Chakra training and techniques that complimented their power sets. And it seems that Todoroki has taken this concept in stride."

Back with the students, they were all either frozen or, in the case of a few, evaded the ice entirely and were now gaining on Shoto. Katsuki in particular had created an explosive clay spider to ride on in order to conserve quirk energy.

"Ohh man, I can't stay u-u-uuuup—Whoa!" Mina gasped as she tried to use her quirk to skate on the ice, but unfortunately almost fell over. Thankfully though, Saiken was kind enough to sprout a couple tails to keep her upright. "Thanks, Saiken!" She smiled.

"You're welcome." The giant slug smiled.

"Nice try, Todoroki!" Himiko called as she ran along the ice, Matatabi's flames covering her feet and melting the ice as she ran.

"You froze me in place once, I'm not falling for it again." Ojiro said as he used his tail to propel himself forward, chakra coursing through it to make its hits stronger.

Izuku, meanwhile, was the one gaining the most ground. Using his chakra points at the soles of his feet, he gripped the ice as if he were using ice boots, which allowed him to run even faster than the others.

Shoto glanced back, not expecting so many people to evade his ice. Before he could do anything else, he had to stop himself as a giant fist slammed down in front of him. Looking up, he saw some zero pointers in his way.

All robots from the practical test were there, and as they zeroed in on their targets, Shoto and Izuku both seemed confident.

"Alright, time to put my new Mangekyou Sharingan ability to the test." The boy said as he activated his dojutsu while Shoto started making hand signs.

"Though I wish they'd prepared something more difficult. Especially since my dear old dad is watching." The two toned boy mused. "Ice Style: Ice Coffin." He intoned as he held out his hand as ice encased the brutes.

"Incredible! Shoto Todoroki has learned Ice Release! Just look at how strong it is!" The Sound Hero exclaimed in amazement.

"Kamui!" Izuku exclaimed as his left eye suddenly created a portal that sucked in the arms of two zero pointers, which caused them to lose their balance and fall over.

"And it looks like Midoriya has improved as well, if that's anything to go by." The Erasure Hero noted as he watched the singularity at work.

As the students tried to move forward, shoto clenched his hand. "Ice Burial." He said as the robots started to crumble and fall, blocking the way.

And back with Izuku, he came face to face with a one point robot that had him targeted. Quickly biting his thumb to draw blood, he made a few hand signs and slammed them on the ground.

"Summoning Jutsu!" He exclaimed, which suddenly caused a large Japanese gunbai war fan to appear floating beside him, which was green with black outline and a Uchiha, Senju and Uzumaki symbol on it in a third divided circle.
