ScareS 3, No particular pairing (Part 2)
"I...I just can't...b-believe...i-it...," Tails sobbed in Knuckles' side. They stood in front of the one gravestone they had thought and hoped to never see.
Here lies Maurice Oglivile 'Sonic' the Hedgehog
Beloved hero, friend, brother and son.
He shall never be forgotten.
The echidna just patted his back. Tails of all people had been the one to find Sonic's body and even now, a whole month later, he could barely sleep or eat still, plagued by nightmares and nausea. He had hoped, that visiting his brother's grave would help, but he was breaking down even more upon seeing the cold marble.
"Come, let's go.," Knuckles mumbled, gently leading the crying fox away, before one of their friends would appear to put flowers on the grave, or something like that. All consolations so far had only resulted in Tails crying more.
Suddenly, halfway off the graveyard, Tails pretty much froze on the spot, causing the guardian to almost knock him over.
Stumbling a little, the older male stopped and looked down on the fox, seeing, that he had turned his head and was looking at something, his jaw dropped. Frowning, he looked past him and looked at the grave the fox' eyes were glued to.
It had a gravestone in a heart-like shape, with a picture of the deceased encased in it. It was the upper half of a pink furred hedgette with dark green eyes, a peach muzzle and short headquills, that she wore like human hair, in a red dress. She waved happily in the camera.
Here lies Amy Rose
Beloved daughter and friend.
May she rest in peace.
stood under the picture. According to the dates under the writing, she had become 14 years old.
And Tails recognized her flawlessly. That was her. The girl. Sonic had described her too good to mistake her.
His mouth went dry, when he realized, when she had died. An exact year, before Sonic had fallen.
But if that was true... who had Sonic seen all this time!?

Sorry, if the story's bad, I needed to get it out of my head, as it kept appearing there. I tried to write a nice bonus chapter for it, but it's short. I'll upload a much better story (maybe two, I don't know, yet) somewhere around the next few days. So, yeah, bye!
