What does the academy…no what does my father have planned? What's he hiding? He's been gathering every magic tool Eibon created even going to such lengths as getting it from the wicked witch Morgana. He sent out academy troops to stop brew from getting into the wrong hands but he's not telling us anything. What is his true intentions? What information has he been holding back? I know there is more to this then there seems. Just who is this great wizard Eibon? What does he have to do with my father? I asked him about it and as expected he gave a half answer and changed the subject. I had hoped to speak to mother about it but she too has been busy of late doing who knows what, knowing father he could very well try to make sure we don't meet up to talk about these things…if he won't tell me I'll find out for myself.

"Say Ava you alright?" Marie looks over at Ava as they reside in the bathroom, Ava and Marie conversing unaware of Kid's plan.

"Yeah I'm fine, Death's had me glued by his side since." Sighing, Ava grimaces, scowling, furrowing her brow at the memory of him telling her not to go out only making her want to go out even more it was as if he had a red button taunting her, tantalising her almost.

"Yeah guess he just cares." Softly, Marie smiles.

"I suppose still at least he hasn't mauled anyone to pieces." Positively, Ava considers exhaustion etched into her fatigued facial features.

"Pardon?" Perplexed, Marie quirks her head to the side.

"Well back then this one time this guy kept coming around with flowers I didn't really know what he wanted, his flowers only made me cough and sneeze more. It led up today finding a shrine of sorts, death was fuming when the flower guy came he grabbed the flower guy by the leg and threw him into a lake." Annoyed, Ava furrows her brow at the memory scowling.

"He did what!?" Mystified, Marie gawks gaping at the reveal.

"He doesn't exactly have the best track record." Tiredly, Ava sighs at the man child that is her husband, he could be so stupid sometimes…

"Still for him to do that…" Marie furrows her brow befuddled trailing off.

"Death doesn't have the best control of his emotions he didn't exactly have anyone to teach him about such emotions." Sighing, Ava leans back against the cool sleek sink, placing her hand flat on the rim of the sink, her fingertips fidgeting tensing around the rim, her nails scraping against the porcelain.

"So he was…sort of like a man child." Marie concludes.

"He is the definition of one. It was sad sometimes but during those times of teaching him it felt…nice. Though trying to drag the flower boy's body out of the river wasn't easy." Irritated, Ava grumbles, glaring to the side at the memory. The poor boy was soaked, she wasn't even one of her past playthings, heh she remembered a fair few of her playthings being cut down by the jealous Death…

"You care about him a lot don't you?" Marie smiles softly at the amused Ava.

"Of course I do. I did marry him for a reason." Ava chuckles only then to falter from the sharp sting to her head, glancing over at the mirror her eyes dilating in horror when meeting a familiar similar shade of gold glaring back at her smirking sadistically.

"You sure you're alright though I mean…" Marie trails off clearly concerned placing her hand on her back when seeing her cradle her head pained.

"I'm fine I am I just…" Ava waves Marie off grimacing.

"You know I'm going to go over and see how Stein is you wanna come?" Chirpily, Marie offers.

"I…rather not." Strained, Ava grimaces at the thought flinching from it.

"Oh…right. I'll see you then yeah, I'll tell him you said hi." Meekly, Marie offers.

"Yeah…you…do that." Ava grimaces waving her off as she peers into the mirror, gasping at the robed figure, his raw reds glaring into her gold as she reels her hand back, swiftly smashing it into the mirror, shards come crashing down as she feels the shapt sting of her bloodied, bruised fist, seeing raw red dilate down her hand which she cradles to her chest. She bows her head, shakily exhaling trying to compose herself, trying to bash back the thoughts threatening to slip through, the voices whispering, breathing down her neck.

"Sorry about the tea Sid. If Ava were here, she'd know the perfect blend…" Death sighs sadly as the two share tea with one another.

"Still giving you the cold shoulder sir?" Sid takes note of his lord death's deflated form, bowing his head solemnly sat down on the table in the death room.

"Does everyone know?" Defeated, Death sighs pouting almost.

"Well we can hear your wife's angry rants a mile away and whenever she walks around she practically extrudes death." Bluntly, Sid deadpans.

"Aw so she's got into one of her grumps." Death realizes.

"Her…grumps sir?" Sid quirks his head to the side lost.

"Sometimes Ava will get her feathers so ruffled up she'll need a few days to just wander aimlessly it doesn't help that the madness is making her worse as well. So long as she doesn't destroy another island and cause a war, we'll be fine." Flimsy, Death waves Spirit off.

"Wait…what?" Sid does a doubletake.

"So what's up?" Death changes topic.

"Well…something' s been bothering Kid lately he seems a bit suspicious from your recent actions." Sid reveals to Death.

"Hmm…" Sid hums uncertain as the two sit down, Sid sipping the tea offered to him by Death who sips his own tea.

"He's been poking around for information on his own, I had hoped to talk to you both about it but well…" Sid sighs trailing off when seeing Death flinch from his words seeing the god of death bow his head, acting similar to Spirit almost after being rejected by Maka time and time again.

"Ava doesn't want to be in the same room as me. The only reason I got her in here the other day was when she found out Kid and the others went out on the mission. She was screaming, shouting, she even threatened to do a vasectomy on Spirit." Sighing, Death explains to Sid.

"O-Oh…" Sid glances to the side sipping his tea once more.

"She just needs a few days to get the madness out of her." Death exclaims.

"Sir that doesn't answer my question, what should we do about Kid?" Sid questions him.

"Poking around for information?" Death hums.

"For information." Sid confirms.

"Hmm...on his own?" Death quirks his head to the side.

"Yes on his own." Sid nods his head quirking his head to the side.

"So? What should we do?" Death asks him.

"That's what I asked!" Annoyed, Sid snaps.

"It's a difficult question." Death exclaims.

"None of us like going into this blind." Sid scowls.

"Eh?" Death blurts out.

"Kid's not the only one I want to know what's going on too. Why are you collecting Eibon's tools? Why haven't you explained yourself to us? I think we deserve one after risking our lives to get Morgana's tool at the least I mean Eibon is nothing compared to the vile wicked witch that is Morgana. What's your plan?" Seriously, Sid questions his boss.

"You want to know my plan?" Death asks.

"Yes of course I do." Sid states.

"You want me to explain?" Death exclaims.

"I want you to explain that's just what I said." Sid says.

"…Too bad I'm not going to tell you, I mean speaking ill of the in laws is very rude you know." Dubiously, Death teases.

"Wait…what? How old are you even eleven?" Enraged, Sid snaps at his boss gawking at him.

"Ava thinks I'm five at heart." Cheerily, Death winks and does the peace sign.

"And she's married to you, I'm surprised I haven't seen her underneath a tombstone already." Annoyed, Sid sighs in defeat, deflating at his attempt at talking to death himself.

"Look Azusa I appreciate whatever it is you're trying to do but I'm fine really." Earnestly, Ava sighs as she and Azusa walk through the hallway having bumped into each other about to give her report to Lord Death.

"Ava during the mission lord death found you spasming on the ground just like Stein." Sternly, Azusa points out.

"It was a fit when you get to my age." Ava dismisses.

"Ava this could be serious." Sternly, Azusa argues adjusting her lenses.

"Look Azusa I get your concern I do but can we please keep it on the down low, Kid's already been snooping around if he gets word of my little episode who knows what he'll do." Tiredly, Ava grumbles.

"Speaking of…I saw him a while ago heading to Stein's lab." Azusa blurts out unaware of Ava flinching from her words.

"…What? Sorry but I have to go." Alarmed, Ava turns to her.

"Okay…" Azusa furrows her brow befuddled watching on as Ava rushes on ahead.

"Heheheheheh….it's not there…it's not there…don't you get it!? It's not there! There…that's better now." Cackling, Stein snickers smirking smugly. He stares at the three eyes static spewing out of the rainbows eyes scuttling about as Stein reaches out to it but fails to catch it in his grasp.

"Excuse me professor Stein are you feeling okay?" Kid questions entering the lab unfazed by the mad doctor's cackling.

"Feeling okay? Of course why wouldn't I be? Although saying that won't guarantee anyone will believe me. Does it?" Stein smirks sneering at Kid, feeling the sharp sting to his chest when gazing into his glaring golds.

"I want to ask you something. What exactly does BREW do? Can you tell me?" Kid questions Stein his hands shoved into his pockets.

"Brew is a creation of Morgana ley fay as you know, a very powerful old, wicked witch that devasted the lands long before either of us were born, a tricker that many folklore see throughout the ages, some call her Mordred, Morgan, some even call her Odin, a trickster throughout this world wrecking chaos and madness upon the world. She created many devices for man to become more independent to not rely upon the prayers of the gods, for man to stand upon its own but Brew was supposedly her most powerfulness creation, true to its name it promises the power and strength of a brewing thunderstorm. The results can vary depending on the person who wields it." Stein explains to Kid.

"Be more specific I want to know what the tool actually does." Unimpressed, Kid snaps scowling.

"Is it there?" Stein questions eyeing the eyes huddled in the corner, taking out his lighter and cigarette packet.

"Tell me this then what does my father plan to do with BREW? What will the results be if he's the one who uses it? if you aren't sure you can speculate as a professor you should have a guess." Kindly, Kid tells him as he lights up a cigarette.

"Your eyes…" Stein leans back against the wall, his greens gazing into Kid's gold narrowing at him.

"Huh?" Kid's gold glare at Stein scowling, taking a step back.

"They're just like hers." Huffing, he exhales a breath of grey as Kid grimaces at the stench emitting from his teacher, having heard the comparison time and time again which to be honest was getting on Kid's nerves. He would be polite sure but hearing the comparison time and time again was beginning to grate his nerves.

"Hers?" Kid quirks his head to the side lost.

"You really don't know do you?" Hollowly, Stein snickers amused almost as Kid notes the bitterness in his teacher's tone seeing him glare at Kid, making Kid's eyes narrow further from his words, sensing the hostility emitting from him. Why was he so hostile? Could it be the madness? Perhaps but it seemed to stem from somewhere else but from what Kid did not know but it didn't matter, what mattered right now was finding answers and Stein seemed to be his only source for finding these answers.

"Know what?" Annoyed, Kid scowls at Stein.

"Tell me what will you do with the information?" Calmly, Stein questions Kid.

"Huh?" Kid blurts out.

"I can see your impatient for answers but nothing I tell you will be of any use in the long run I can promise you that much. Besides witch what can you fully accept what I might say when I'm in this condition would that be a good idea?" Bitterly, Stein sneers poison dripping down his tongue.

"Witch?" Kid does a doubletake. He wasn't a witch, he had no inkling of magic power or at the lest..he didn't think he had. He had never showed promise. But then again if he had he would assume it to be his father's side his Shinigami power but even then, a male witch? The notion alone is unreal so how could this be real? It was impossible? Him the son of lord death having the blood of a witch? Impossible, it was, it is impossible…

"You don't know do you? The blood of a witch flows through you kid." Smugly, Stein reveals making Kid do a double take. His brow furrowed from his words.

"A witch?" Kid's yellows dilate when hearing his words.

"Your eyes of that of a witch. So bright but yet so cunning, just like the blazing sun pretty at first the blazing bright colour of yellow acting as a beacon of hope but overtime the fiery flames of the sun burns people especially those that get to close to it…" Intensely, Stein explains to Kid tensing up from his words uncomfortable even as he takes a shaky step back.

"Professor Stein what are you…?" Alarmed, Kid questions, feeling his body tense up alarmed ready to fight in case of self-defence just in case.

"I'm sure you're willing to listen to my answer that's the easy part but what comes after that? What do you intend to do after I tell you everything?" Stein demands from kid grimacing from his words glancing to the side, unable to look him straight in the eye from his words.

*Happy Halloween how do you think Kid feels about Stein's words about everything?*
