Chapter 5 : U.A. Entrance Exam
The next morning saw both Gohan and Yuuji cleaning up the pub. Yuuji was cleaning his bar table while looking at Gohan who was in the middle of the room, arranging and cleaning the chairs and tables. He had been observing the Saiyan since they started cleaning, he finally stopped when Gohan had done his activity, and walked towards him to take a seat in one of the stool chairs in front of the bar table.
"Here." Yuuji gave him a glass of water.
"Thanks." Gohan responded.
Silence came to the room when no one was talking. The only sound can be heard was from Yuuji who continued on cleaning the bar table. For Gohan, he stayed silent in his seat, thinking about something that annoyed him.
Gohan felt something wasn't right since he came to this pub. He felt something different in him since he stayed in this place, the kind of feeling he'd never felt before, and it came only when he was around Yuuji and Emi. But he still couldn't tell what that was.
While he was still in his thought, a creak sound of an opened door could be heard by both him and Yuuji. Both of them turned their head to face the source of the sound, and found Emi standing at the entrance of the pub. She was wearing a long sleeved white shirt with jeans shorts and a casual shoulder bag on her right shoulder.
"Emi?" Gohan said, looking at her who was now walking towards the two.
"M-Morning." She greeted, and got the replied from the two.
"I thought Yuuji told you that today will be your day off." Gohan said.
"Hehe, I think the cleaning will be done faster if I could help you guys." She said replying at him with her sweet smile. But then quickly averted her gaze when she saw his face, the memories from last night when she said "I have you to protect me" came to her mind. Her face turned red tomato as that memories kept playing in her mind.
While in Gohan's case, he had no idea what happened to her, and just looking at her in confused. Gohan might be smart in academics, but when it comes to women, love, and all that kind of things, he'd be as dense as his father.
Emi's face turned back to normal when a phone's ringing could be heard in that room. Both Emi and Yuuji turned their attention to Gohan.
Realizing it was his phone, he quickly picked it up and answered the call.
"Son? It's Tsukauchi." The voice on the phone said.
"Hey, what is it?"
"It's about your job, the principal wants you to come to the school this morning." Tsukauchi stated.
"What? Why? Didn't he say that we should come there the same time as yesterday?" Gohan asked.
"No idea. But I just heard that they actually advanced the entrance exam for today. They announced it a few days ago, maybe it has something to do with that. Sorry I didn't know they changed the schedule for the entrance exam, so get ready I'll come and pick you up soon." Tsukauchi said.
"Okay, anyway thanks." Gohan said before he ended the call.
"What is it?" Emi asked after Gohan put the phone back in his pocket.
"It's Tsukauchi, he told me the principal wants to see me at UA this morning. The entrance exam for UA is actually advanced and we didn't know about that. He said it'll be today."
"Well what're you waiting for? Take a shower and get ready." Yuuji said.
"But how about the pub? We haven't finished cleani-" Gohan said before he got cut by Emi.
"See, you're lucky I'm here. It's okay Gohan, we'll take care of it."
"Thanks, and sorry, I promised you I'll help but…" Gohan said as he looked at Yuuji and Emi.
"It's fine." Yuuji said. "You better get ready now, Tsuka-chin will get here at any moment."
"Right." He then quickly walked his way to take a shower in the bathroom upstairs.
After a few moments, Gohan's already finished with his preparation, he came downstairs wearing a black suit, with a matching vest and a white button up shirt underneath, and black pants. He looked at Yuuji who was gathering all the empty bottles and put it in the garbage bags, meanwhile Emi was cleaning the tables.
When Yuuji was about to take the garbage bags to the dumpster, Gohan walked to him and offered his help. He felt bad for not helping them to finish cleaning up the bar. He reached those bags, picked them up, and went out to get those bags to the garbage dumpster not far from the pub.
On his way back to the pub after he had done with those bags, a familiar voice from someone called him.
Trying to find the source of that voice, he looked at his left and right but there was no one talking to him, so he assumed that it was just his imagination, and continued his way to the pub.
When he was right at the front door, that voice sounded again and called his name.
"Gohan! It's me Kitoki." The voice said.
Hearing that, Gohan stopped right before he got inside the pub, and went to the side of the building, so that no one could hear him talking.
"Kitoki, you startled me. It's been a long time, so what is it?" Gohan asked in a whisper.
"Hahah! Sorry about that. I have something to talk about. I told you I'll call you again when I have any info about the villains right?"
"Oh yeah right, so what do you got?"
"Actually, I'm not sure if this info related to the problem or not but..." Kitoki said, but stopped when Gohan cut him.
"It's okay, this info of yours could actually be a lead for us..."
"Alright then, have you ever heard about prison planet?" Kitoki asked.
"Prison planet?" He responded in confused.
"Judging from your reaction, I assumed that you have never heard about it. It's a planet where all of the galactic level threats are being imprisoned."
"I'm sure never heard of it, wait, if there's a place like that? Why isn't Frieza being kept there?" Gohan asked.
"Frieza got his order from the god of destruction himself so the galactic patrol can't do anything." Kitoki said.
"Galactic patrol?" Gohan asked in confusion.
"They're the organization that captured the criminal who might be a threat for the whole universe, and get them to prison planet. Once they're imprisoned there, they could never be able to escape."
"So what's up with this prison planet?" Gohan asked.
"Recently, I got an information that there are three prisoners escaped from that planet." Kitoki said which got Gohan fell on the ground.
"Didn't you just say that no one could escape that planet?" Gohan asked while trying to stand up, a bead of sweat streaming down behind his head.
"Well... there's this powerful orb called the Dragon Orb. It is the one that gave powers to the planet so that no prisoners could escape from that planet. It created some kind of barrier in the atmosphere of the planet so no one could go through or break it." Kitoki explained everything to Gohan. "This orb was kept in a secret place in that planet where no one can find it. But three prisoners organized a plan and asked every other prisoners to join them on fighting the guards and take the orb so that they could get out of that planet."
"And so they did it. Some of the prisoners were dead in this action, but some of them are already out of the planet. Luckily, the galactic patrol were already after them. The real problem is the three prisoners who initiated this action, they found the orb and used it to cancel the barrier and gain power so they can escape." Kitoki came to a stop for a moment before he continued. "After they turned the barrier off, they used the orb to escape from that planet, it teleported them. But the power of the orb isn't something a mortal can handle for too long, so along with the dragon orb they got thrown to that earth."
"What makes you think they might ended up in this planet?" Gohan asked.
"After I got this info, I realized that the time I got my vision was right after the prison break happened. And in my vision, the only planet that being destroyed by such power in that universe, was the one you're in right now. Do you really think anyone on that planet has the ability to do that destruction? That's why I think they ended up in that earth along with the dragon orb." Kitoki said.
"I have to find them quickly before something bad happen." Gohan said as he gritted his teeth.
"Relax, after they used the power of that orb, it consumed most of their energy and they'd need a week for their powers to come back. So I assumed that these prisoners have barely any energy left on them now." Explained Kitoki.
"How long has it been since the escape incident on that prison planet?" Gohan asked.
"According to the galactic patrol, the prison break took time about twelve hours before you got to that earth. Considering the difference in time of one day in here equals ten days in there, they'd already be in that world for about four or five days earlier than you. Meaning you still have the time to find them before they fully get their powers back. Judging from the peaceful situation there, they probably haven't used the orb, or maybe losing it when they got teleported. That's why they haven't done anything." Kitoki said.
"Do you know anything about their power without that orb?" Gohan asked.
"That's what I'm going to tell you Gohan. You have to be careful, even without the orb, they're still strong enough to destroy that world. The weakest of them was at the same level of that monster you killed years ago…" Kitoki said and trying to remember the name of the monster.
"Cell?" Gohan said.
"Ah yes Cell, and the other one is just a bit stronger. The problem is their boss, in his full power he is at the same level as Majin Buu. I know you're stronger than Majin Buu right now, but still... if all of them get their powers back and fight you with all three of them together... I doubt you could win the fight without heavily injured. If they find the orb and used it against you, I don't even think you could come out of the fight alive." Kitoki said as he stopped for a few seconds to gave Gohan time to process all of the information. "That's why you have to find them before they find the orb, or find the orb before them." Kitoki continued.
"Uhm... Can you send more people to come here and help me find these prisoners?" Gohan asked.
"I already did, right after I got this information I sent some reinforcement from galactic patrol to help you... but the people I sent can't get into that planet."
"What? But why!?" Gohan asked again in disbelief.
"It seems like yesterday in that planet, somehow, the Orb's power is activated and created some kind of barrier that prevent us to get in, even using portals or teleportation wouldn't be possible. Besides the existence of any other living being from another planets or universes are secrets, no one should know about that." Kitoki explained, while Gohan was sweating nervously, cause he already spilled the beans to Tsukauchi. "But if you really need reinforcements, then the only way for us to be able to come through, you have to find the orb and deactivate it."
"Damnit..." Gohan cursed as he gritted his teeth, his only options right now was either to find the orb before those prisoners, or find the prisoners before they got the orb.
Even though there are three of them, judging from their power, Gohan was confident in his strength and power that he could still defeat the three of them even though it might take quite the time and will be a difficult fight. The problem was the environmental destruction from the fight would be inevitable, and the probability of casualties will be countless.
"Gohan…" A low voice of Emi called while Gohan was thinking about the info from Kitoki. "Gohan, hey…" Emi said after she got close enough.
"Oh Emi!" Startled as he turned and saw her.
"Uh... What're you doing here?" She asked as she was looking around the area to find someone or something. She thought that she heard Gohan talking to someone, but there was no one around.
"N-nothing, nothing, just uhh… looking at the window that recently fixed here hahah…" Gohan said as he act to look at the window on the side of the pub.
"Uhm, the window's over there, at the front, not this one…" Emi said.
"Uh... yeah yeah I mean that one hahah…" He said, making the awkward situation worse. "S-So, w-what are you doing here?" He asked trying to divert the conversation.
"Oh right, Tsukauchi's here to pick you up." Emi said as she gestured her hands pointing at Tsukauchi's car.
"Oh! Right, I have to go now. Thanks Emi!" He said as he ran towards the car. But before he could get into the car, she grabbed his hand and tried to say something as her face looking down, avoiding his gaze.
"Wh-what is it Emi?" Gohan asked. "I'm sorry, I really need to-"
Before he could finish, Emi reached out her pocket to give him something. In between both of her hands, she hold a box with a little red ribbon on top of it as a decoration.
"P-please a-accept this!" Emi exclaimed and gave the little gift to him. "I bought this yesterday, but I forgot to give it to you, I think today is the right moment to give you this since it's your first day at work, I hope this'll bring you luck."
Her reason to give him a present was truly because she wanted to give him something after what he told her last night. Living in a prison for so long since she was at young age, no one really care about her, nor even bother being kind to her. But since she met Gohan, she felt different... He was different. For the first time in her life, someone truly care about her, and being nice to her.
Meanwhile Gohan's a bit confused with what she got for him, but he didn't really have time since Tsukauchi was already waiting for him, so he took the present and thanked her.
"Thank you Emi, I'll open it on my way. Anyway, gotta go! Later!" Gohan said as he ran towards the car and leaving Emi looking at him dumbfounded. Just like his dad, Gohan was a kind and nice person, but he was never the kind of sensitive person towards other people's feelings.
"Phew..." Gohan sighed once he was inside the car.
"What's wrong?" Tsukauchi asked. "And what's that?" His eyes looking at the box Gohan's been holding.
"I don't know, Emi gave me this as a present." He then opened the present and found a black neck tie that'll match his black vest and suit perfectly. He kept looking at the tie in his hand.
"What? You don't like it?" Tsukauchi asked as he saw Gohan shook his head a bit.
"It's not like that, I like it. It's just that she gave me this as a present, and we just met like two days ago, it's very unexpected of her to do something like this." Gohan said.
"Isn't that a good thing? That means you got yourself some good friends." Tsukauchi said.
"...You're right. I have to thank her again later." Gohan said as he wore the tie around his collar. "Anyway, I have some new information about the villains we might face in the future, and some other problems."
"Really? That's good to hear. It frustrates me every time I think about it but could never find any clues. So what is it?" Tsukauchi asked, a bit surprised to know that Gohan finally got a new information.
"I'll tell you on the way, I don't want to be late to come to UA." Gohan said, and so Tsukauchi drove the car away to UA high.
After a few minutes, the car stopped at the front gate of UA. Before Gohan walked out of the car Tsukauchi spoke to him.
"It'll be hard as we have no clear lead, but I'll try to find any info about that orb or those people you talked about. I'll tell you if I found something." He said and saw Gohan nodded as a response before he got out of the car.
But Tsukauchi stopped him again as he handed the Hero license and the test result. "Take this, the principal would love to get you in UA after he saw this." He said. "Oh and sorry I couldn't accompany you this time, got some work today, but I'll pick you up after you're done with your business here, so call me when you're done."
"It's okay, thanks for driving me here me anyway. And if you're that busy, I can go home by myself, I think I want to do some hero work for the first time after I got this license. Besides I might find new information about that orb or those people." Gohan said as he got out from the car.
"Alright then... good luck for the job." Tsukauchi said from inside the car.
"You too." He responded before closing the door.
After the car was already pretty far away, Gohan turned his attention to the building, and started walking towards the entrance. This time he saw a lot of students, wearing various uniforms and walked to the same direction as him.
He could feel the stares some students gave him while he walked his way inside the building, especially from the girls. Trying to calm himself, he inhaled through his nose and exhaled through his mouth, pretending not hearing anything these students talking about him.
A girl behind him whispered to her friends as she gestured her hand pointing at him. "Hey hey look at him… Is he a teacher here? He's pretty cute don't you think?" She said, asking her friend about him.
"If he really is one of the teacher here, I hope he'll teach in my class." Said the other girl.
"I like his hair, he's young too." Said another girl still from the same group.
Meanwhile there are some male students who were quite annoyed when they heard those girls complimented him.
"Is he a teacher here? He looks weak." Said one of the male students from that group.
"I bet he could still kick your ass though." His friend replied with a smug smirk on his face.
"Watch out what you were saying, who knows what kind of quirk he has." Said another.
Meanwhile Gohan was trying to hide his blushing face from hearing all of those statements. He just kept walking and ignored all those comments, until someone stopped him in his way to the principal room.
"Uh… excuse me but can you let me through?" Gohan said looking at the woman who was standing in front of him, staring at him.
"Are you Son Gohan?" She said, she wore a black leather breast-less leotard over a white bodysuit which emphasize her breasts, body, and legs. Some of the male students were even blushing at the sight.
Hearing her question Gohan nodded as a response, then the woman in front of him introduce herself.
"I'm Nemuri Kayama, one of the teacher here, the principal wants me to bring you to him." With a smile, she reached for a handshake which Gohan quickly return.
"S-Son Gohan, but you already know." He said, with an awkward smile before he followed her to meet the principal.
"Anyway, congratulations and welcome to UA High." She said which brought him in confused, the principal haven't see his hero test result and haven't accepted him yet.
Seeing his face in confused, she continued to explain. "The principal's already accepted you after he knew you passed the Hero license test. He asked Aizawa to call that guy from the Hero Public Safety Commission and asked about your test." She said. "Besides, it'll be a stupid decision to turned down a fresh graduates genius to teach in this school. Anyway, I forgot to introduce my hero name, you can call me Midnight."
"I see, thanks Midnight." Gohan said.
"So, what's your hero name?" Midnight asked.
"Ah its, The Great Saiyaman, or you can just call it Saiyaman."
Right after she heard Gohan's hero name, a thick bead of sweat came down her temple. She had never heard anything like that, and didn't know what that name mean. But somehow, the name appeared to be quite lame to her ears.
"It-it's good to know you S-Saiyaman, I look forward on working with you." She said.
"Me too, it's a pleasure to work here." He said in reply.
When they walked their way to the place where the principal wanted them to be, Midnight asked Gohan a question that brought him a bit confused, and nervous at the same time.
"So... tell me Son Gohan, are you single?" She asked, with that mischievous grin on her pretty face.
"Wh... what? I-I'm sorry, I-I think I heard you wrong." He said nervously.
"Are-you-still-single?" She whispered as she leaned her body towards him.
"I-I'm married!" He answered quickly, averting his gaze from the her.
"Ah... I see, well that's unfortunate. When I finally find a handsome, big, strong man, turned out he's married." She said in a low voice.
"Sorry, what?" Gohan asked, can't believe about what she just said. Though it was true, Gohan physical built quite catching the eyes of the female hero. Also he was big compared to her, she barely reach his chest. But in that school some other teachers were bigger than him, so what made him so attractive? Well without a doubt his visual, his face. Who wouldn't want to have a strong, muscularly proportional, handsome, smart man as their boyfriend or husband right?
"No, nothing." She said, and then easily changed the topic of their conversations.
They talked about the school, heroes, and Japan along the way. After a few chats, they finally stopped at the front door of a room.
"Okay, we're here." Midnight said as she opened the big door in front of them and got inside the room.
To his surprise, it was actually a pretty dark room. But Gohan could still saw some people sitting on their seats, looking at the big screen in front of them which played various scenes on it. Some of them turned their attention to him and Midnight who just got in to the room, meanwhile the others were focussing on watching the big screen.
On the screen, it showed the students he saw in his way to this room. They were all gathered in a room that looks like an auditorium, paying their attention to someone who looked like was explaining something from the auditorium's stage.
When he was observing around, he noticed someone from one of those seats, gesturing his hands and asked Gohan to come to his side. It took him a few moments to realize that it was the principal, he was sitting in the front row seats and gesturing Gohan to come and join him. So he walked his way to the principal and took a seat beside him.
"Son Gohan, congratulation on your Hero license test, and welcome to UA High." The principal said as he reached Gohan's hand to congratulate him.
"Thank you so much sir." He responded as he then gave the hero test result after he return the hand shake.
"Ah yes, the result." The principal took the result from Gohan's hand and read it. "As expected, from a fresh graduate like you." He smile after he read the result. "I knew you would passed the test. All Might told me about how you stopped the robbery at a bank a few days ago. Not every heroes could do that, moreover you've done it in less than a minute, without a scratch in you nor the hostages."
"Ah...thank you sir haha." Gohan said as he scratched the back of his head. "But may I ask you a question sir?" He was about to ask on why did the principal wanted him to come this morning, yesterday, he said they'll meet later in the afternoon.
"You must have been wondering why did I ask you to come this early?" The principle said, like he knew what was on his mind.
"I want you to see the examinee's ability through this entrance exam Mr. Son, and helping you to know what can you expect from the students of our school." The principal said as he pointed at the screen in front of them. "I know you're new to this hero thing, you studied overseas as a college students in a non hero school. I guess you've never really learn anything about hero's work, so I wanted you to learn something from this."
The screen started changing the scenes. It showed all of the students in a place that looked like a simulation of a city. Everyone in the room looking at the scene in front of them, observing and giving their opinion about what was happening there.
While the other teachers still paying their attention at the screen, Gohan got distracted when he felt a familiar energy from his side. He looked to his left and found a skinny blond man in a yellow suit sitting beside him.
For a few seconds, he looked at the blond guy, and a glimpse of memory crossed his mind. "His energy, it's similar to All Might. Wait… isn't he the guy I saw yesterday at the central park?" Gohan thought, he kept looking for a few moments until the man looked back at him.
"Is there something wrong? Do you need something?" He said while he looking back at Gohan.
Realizing his behavior, Gohan apologized and turned his attention back to the screen.
The various scenes on the screen showed some of the examinees doing their best to fight robots. He saw a blond guy destroying a robot with a laser from his stomach.
"Is that a laser came out from his stomach?" Gohan thought, confused, but also amazed by that scene. In his world, to see other fighters firing a laser from their eyes, hands, or even mouth was a normal thing, at least for him and the other Z fighters. But seeing a laser came out of human navel? It was weird, and disgusting, but had to admit, mesmerizing at the same time.
Few moments later he turned his attention to another scene that showed another examinee just kicked a robot with super speed, his kick even destroyed part of the robot into pieces.
"Wait... that kid, he has the same quirk like that guy I fought in the hero license exam." He thought after he saw the kick. The examinee had the same exhausts thing like Ingenium, only it was placed in his legs instead of elbows, also, those exhausts sped up his kicks, just like the Ingenium with his punches.
Another scene caught his attention, showing a spiky blond haired kid destroying the robots with some kind of explosion from his hands. His face looked so satisfied after he destroyed those robots.
"Wow that kid's quirk is amazing, but... what's wrong with that expression? Did he enjoy destroying those robots?" Gohan said internally with a bead of sweat streamed down the back of his head.
"In this exam, the examinees have not been informed of the number of villains or their locations, they have to draw the villains out." Said the principal all of a sudden, explaining the test in front of them. "Mobility that can be used in any circumstances, pure combat ability, these basics are needed to keep the peace in the streets, and are turned into points in this test." He said while Gohan turned his attention at the screen again, but still listening to the principal at the same time.
Another scene was played in the big screen, showed an examinee who kept on running to find a robot. The expression on his face was clear enough for everyone in the room to know that this kid was in panicked. Everyone in the room looking at the data about this kid on the upper corner of the screen including Gohan. His name was Midoriya Izuku, his villain points are zero, and his points for saving people are also zero.
"Izuku Midoriya, he hasn't get any point from either destroying robots or saving people." Gohan said internally as he looked at the data about him, it took him a few moments to realize, that he had met this kid before. "Wait, I knew him… he's the one that I met at the central park-" Then a teacher beside the principle said something that diverted his attention.
"Their true test is still to come." That teacher said as his hand pushed a button. Then all of a sudden, on the screen, a giant robot came out from between the buildings. The different in size between this robot and the others was really huge, this one was even bigger than the building around it.
"What the-!? I know this is a test for a hero school but, isn't this too much?" Gohan thought when he saw most of the examinees were running away from that robot, some of them were running in panic, while the others were hiding behind a building.
Then he saw one of the examinees trapped under a rubble. He looked at the reactions of the other teachers while seeing these scenes, it shocked him how no one even looked care about these examinees.
He clenched his fists while seeing this, he was ready to get up from his seat and out of the room to stop the test and save those kids. But then the blond guy in his left spoke.
"An overwhelming threat, how people act after they've seen this, shows their true nature." He said which stopped Gohan from trying to get up of his seat. "But it creates the opportunity to shine brightly and rise to the surface." Continued the blonde guy as he gestured at Gohan to look at the screen, and to his surprise, he saw the green haired boy from earlier, who looked panicked and cowardly ran away from the giant robot, was now launching himself really fast to the direction of the robot.
He pulled his right hand to gain more momentum, and waited until he reached the robot, then...
BAAAAMM!
He threw a punch with all of his strength right in the face of that robot. To the shock of everyone in the room, that kid succeeded on destroying the whole face of the gigantic robot which gave a chained reactions of explosions in its body, and he did it with only one punch.
"That's right, the most important qualification of a Hero, is not how strong or fast you are, but it is the spirit of self-sacrifice you got." Said the blonde guy beside him, proud as he saw the kid's succeeded in destroying that robot.
But unfortunately, with that attack, somehow his hand and legs are broken. And now Midoriya was falling to the ground with nothing on his way to stop his fall.
Gohan stood up and readied himself to dash to the arena and help him. But then on the screen, he saw a girl on the top part of a robot, floating to the direction where the green haired kid was about to land.
PLAAAFF!
Unexpectedly, that girl gave a hard slap on Midoriya's cheek. So hard that it even made Gohan flinched as a reaction after seeing that slap.
But on the contact of that slap, she used her quirk on Midoriya, made him floating in the air a few inches above the ground. She then released her quirk and make him fall from that height, which was much safer than having to fall from height more than twenty metres without anything to slow him down. Gohan knew that, cause he already experienced it too many times. His first time? When he was four years old, from top of a mountain, under Piccolo's training.
From the screen Gohan could see, Midoriya was laying unconscious on the ground, with his hand and legs were now broken. Some other examinees gathered around him, to check on his condition. Some were talking about how powerful his quirk was, but also how dangerous it was, as it gave him that kind of side effect.
Gohan looked around the room and could see the principal beside him was cheering for that kid succeeding in destroying the robot, despite seeing his condition. However, he felt a bit relieved too, knowing that the exam was already done, and when he looked at the screen again, there was someone from the medic approaching Midoriya to heal his injury. But, the way she healed the kid's injuries was, pretty unusual, she kissed him and with her quirk, she healed all the injuries in an instant.
With that the first battle test ended, he and all the teachers on that room continued watching the test from another battle arena.
A few hours had passed, all the tests were done, and all of the teachers were now out of that room and gathered in a meeting room, including Gohan. He took a seat in the right side of Midnight, while the person in his left hadn't come yet, leaving an empty chair on his side.
While waiting for the principal to come and join them, Gohan had a small chats with Midnight and some other teachers. After a few moments, someone came and took a sit in the empty chair next to him. Turned out, he was the blonde person from before, so Gohan tried to speak to him and wanted to apologize for his earlier behavior.
"Good morning sir." Gohan greeted as he bowed his head.
"Ah, morning, you're the new teacher right?" The blonde guy said.
"Yes, I'm Son Gohan." He said, introducing himself. "I'm really sorry for earlier Sir." He said.
"Ah, it's okay."
"I'm sorry, but, I feel like we have met before..? My quirk helps me to feel other people's energy, and I feel like that your energy is similar to All Might, I also heard that he's working here as a new teacher as well this year, but I haven't seen him." Gohan said.
Amazed of what he heard from Gohan, the person was lost for a second before he answered the question in a low, deep voice tone.
"That's such an amazing quirk and... good speculation. Yes you're right Son Gohan, we've met before, me as a hero, and you as the... uhm... vigilante." He hesitated there for a second, afraid that the topic might appear to be insulting for the Saiyan. "How are you doing after that day? Enjoying your life here in Japan? I heard from Tsukauchi you've lived overseas for a long time." All Might continued, it seemed that Tsukauchi haven't told him the truth about the Saiyan.
"Ha, just like what I thought! It's so good to see you again All Might, and I've been doing great thank you. This place is as amazing too, it didn't take me long to adjust and find new friends." Gohan said with a little chuckle.
"I wanted to introduce myself to you after this meeting, so we can have a little talk. But-" Before All Might could finished speaking, from the entrance of the meeting room, a creaking sound of a door could be heard. There they saw the principal came in followed by Aizawa behind him.
The principal then took a seat in his chair, while Aizawa took a seat in the same row with the other teachers. They started the meeting right after the principal came in, and discussed about today's entrance exam and the results. The principal also introduced Gohan and All Might as the new teachers starting in this school year.
After about two hours, the meeting's ended. The principal asked Gohan and All Might to follow him, he wanted to tell them about which class they'll teach and what studies they'll teach, while taking some walk around the school, he also introduced the school area to them.
They came to a stop when they reached the front door of the school's health clinic. Following the principal to step inside the room, Gohan saw some of the examinees from earlier still unconscious and being treated by a doctor there, she was the same doctor who healed Midoriya on the battle arena earlier.
"Doctor Chiyo Shuzenji, known as Recovery Girl." All Might said, trying to tell Gohan about who she was. "She's a professional doctor with a proper knowledge of medical science, her quirk allows her to amplify and speed up the human body's natural healing process by planting a kiss on the injured person." He continued.
Gohan however, was left with relieved to know that they have this kind of treatment and a professional doctor to handle the injured examinees. He still couldn't believe what they did to these examinees in that battle test, so it was good to know the doctor had the ability to heal injuries in an instant.
"I know, you might think that the exam earlier was too much for these kids." This time it came from the principal who was walking towards Recovery girl as he talked.
"But the villains out there are increasing day by day, with various number of quirks we haven't know about. Like I said before, their basic abilities are needed in the streets to fight a threat that might even be stronger than themselves. That's the reason why we took another step further for the difficulty level of the test. Besides, we have the best doctor here to help us with the injured examinees." Said the principal as he walked towards the doctor and introduced her to Gohan.
"So you're the new teacher here? Nice to meet you, I'm Dr. Chiyo Shuzenji." The doctor said as she gave her hand to shake Gohan's hand.
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Son Gohan." He said as he shook her hand.
After that, all of them had some chats for a few minutes before they left.
After everything was done, All Might asked Gohan to have a private talk with him, and he agreed. So both of them went to a particular room to talk, All Might revealed the reason why he was in that skinny form, even though Gohan already know from Tsukauchi.
"That's why I ended up in this condition right now." All Might said as his head looking down for a moment before he faced Gohan again. "But that's not what I really wanted to tell you, I want you to help me train this successor of mine, if you don't mind."
Hearing the story from All Might himself made Gohan felt bad about the incident that happened to him, and it made him even harder to not helping on training this kid.
"So… All Might, your successor, is he the kid who destroyed the giant robot with a single punch?" Gohan asked.
"Y-yeah, how did you know about that?"
"I saw you and him on the central park yesterday, also you looked so proud of him when he did that punch on the exam." Gohan said as he remembered the expression in All Might's face when that kid made a move to save the brown haired girl and destroyed the robot. "Also I detected the similar energy from him when he was about to fight that robot, an energy that's very similar to yours."
"Your quirk is amazing, so you detected that too." All Might said in reply as he chuckled a little.
"Yeah, it was weird for me to feel the energy from different person. He wasn't that strong when I met him before, but today he was like a totally different person. Now, knowing that he's your successor it's all makes sense."
"Haha, so would you help me to train this kid? Tsukauchi told me you might be the perfect one to train him." All Might said.
After knowing that kid was the one All Might chose to be his successor, Gohan's actually feeling the need to help him to train this kid. Moreover, he remembered what the kid told him in the park that day, about his reason on why he wanted to be a hero.
But, the principle already informed him, that he will not be teaching the first grade in this school. So if he still wanted to train this kid, he would have to train him out of school time. Then how about his hero life? Additionally, he needed to find the dragon orb and those prisoners.
That was what came to his mind at first, but then he remembered his purpose when he came to this world. He wanted to help the heroes fighting the threats and protect the people of this world. With training this kid, he might be a great hero one day and could protect this world when he wasn't here anymore.
"All right, I see some potential in him, with some training we could make him a great hero." Gohan said as he got a smile and a thanks from All Might.
After a few minutes of more talking, they decided to end their conversation. All Might went back to his home while Gohan walked his way to the school's rooftop. He pressed the red button on his watch, and for the first time after he got his pro hero license, he turned into The Great Saiyaman.
He flew his way back to the pub with his Saiyaman suit on, while also observing the street below to find out if there was a crime going on. And yes, after a few minutes of flying, he saw a car chase between the police and criminals.
The criminal's car was huge and covered in a some kind of hard metal. Every time that car hit other objects, it broke the object it bumped into. It even went through several walls without having any dents but just some scratches.
Some hero in the area were trying to help but their quirk weren't strong enough to stop the car. So without wasting any time, Gohan rocketed down to the car's direction, and landed himself in front of the car right a few moments before it hit him.
CRAASSHH!
A brutal sound of a car crashed into a hard object resonated around the area, a second after the impact, the surrounding was covered by dusts and smokes.
The police cars stopped not far from the area, some people around there got their phone's camera on, and directed it at the dusty area to get a photo or videos about what just happened.
The dust started to dissipate, revealing to everyone, a man in a green and black body suit with a helmet, standing in front of the car. That man was carrying someone on his shoulder, probably one of the criminals who got thrown out of the car right after it hit him.
Everyone could see the Hero didn't even have any scratches, on the contrary the front side of that car was completely destroyed like it was hitting a big solid rock. A few seconds later, the other criminals got out of the car and laying down on the road. Coughing because of the dusts, while the other still trying to stand up. Looking around at the area, it shocked them when they realized that the police were already surrounded them with their guns pointing towards them.
"Freeze!" Said one of the police officer.
"Put your hands behind your back! Now!" Said another officer, the criminals followed their instruction. While the other officers walked their way towards them and handcuffed them.
An officer came to Gohan and took the one guy he carried on his shoulder.
"Thanks for your help hero, we really appreciate that." The officer said, and the people around who saw this incident gave their applause for Gohan. Some of them cheered him, some thanked him, the others gave him compliments.
Hearing all of those cheering and compliments directed at him, a smile slowly adorned on his face behind that helmet. A 'great idea' came to his mind. Before he left the place, he decided to do one more thing, something very, very special. So he gestured his hand to make the crowd silenced and then started to talk in his 'heroic' tone.
"No need to worry everyone! Because I AM... the vanquisher of evil, the defender of justice…!" He shouted as he did some ridiculous poses in that ridiculous costume, "I AM... THE GREAT SAIYAMAN!" He shouted as he ended up with a really ridiculous pose, where his legs bent on both sides and his hands created a shaped like heart over his head.
"Yeah… it's the first time I used my pose on duty, and I - NAILED - IT." Gohan thought as he stayed in that pose for a few seconds more.
However, everyone who saw his pose just thought the opposite.
"H-how lame…" Everyone in that crowd said it internally at the same time after seeing his pose.
Even the bad guys who saw this thought the same as a thick bead of sweat streaming down from their heads. Was this the guy who caught them? Seriously? They kinda offended by his pose.
"Now I have to go! And remember JUSTICE WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL!" With that Gohan flew his way out from that crime scene, leaving those people who were still processing on what they just witnessed.
"Haha! That was awesome! It's really cool to be a hero in this world, looks like people really like me!" The Saiyan thought as he flew his way to the pub.
Few seconds passed since he left the crime scene, and when he was flying his way while observing around the city, someone called him.
"Hey! Gohan!" A voice of someone familiar sounded inside his head.
"Oh hey Kitoki" He replied as he stopped in his fly. "Sorry for earlier, but Emi called me and I have to get to work." Gohan said as he flew down to land on a rooftop of the closest building.
"It's okay, in that world, maybe a few hours already passed, but here it's just a few minutes after the last time we talked."
"Right, I forgot. So what is it?" Gohan asked.
"Those prisoners, I have their identities. Listen carefully okay? The youngest among them, the only woman in that group, Zangya, she has a long curly orange hair, with bluish skin. Next is Bido, he has the same skin color as Zangya but with an orange hair styled in mohawk, also he is tall and has muscular physique. And the last one is their boss, Bojack, he has muscular built with the same skin color and long orange hair, he also has a scar scaling his face." Kitoki said.
"I told you before, that they might've lost some of their power after they used that orb right?" Kitoki asked as he got a nod from Gohan as a reply. "But that doesn't mean they're powerless. Turned out all three of them are from the same race, the Hera race, and they have the abilities to copy someone's appearances if they got their target's DNA. Not only copying the appearances, they could see the memories and use the skill or ability of their victims, that includes quirks. They can only use this copy ability once in their life though, and they've never used this ability before, so... you have to be careful. I have a feeling they already used that copying ability after got thrown in that world. They might use their victims' appearance and quirks to blend in." Kitoki said.
"It'll be hard for me to figure them out, but at least I could still feel their energy." Gohan said.
"There's another thing you should know. Bojack and Bido can manipulate their energy and lower their power level. So it might be harder for you to know their types of energy, you wouldn't be able to tell if it's a friendly energy or an evil one cause they can manipulate it. But you could still feel their power level if they raised it." Kitoki said. "If you suddenly feel a power level that's impossible for the people of that world to have, then it could be them... so watch out for that." Kitoki explained.
"Great, when I thought this couldn't get worse." Gohan said.
"Don't worry, this one might give you an advantage since you could feel all of the people's energy in that world. The only female of the group, Zangya, is half android, so you might not be able to feel her power nor energy. So if you find someone that have no power level nor energy at all, it could be her." Kitoki said.
"Good, thanks Kitoki. One more question, can you detect the location of the orb?" Gohan asked.
"I'm sorry but I can't. It was created as a secret power source, even though it has such powerful energy within, but still... it was made to help the guards create a barrier on prison planet without anyone knowing its location." Kitoki said.
"You're right I forgot about that. Of course something that was meant to be a secret would not easily be detected." Gohan said. "Anyway thank you Kitoki."
"You're welcome, that's all I got for now, I hope that'd be of help." Kitoki said before he cut his communication with Gohan.
After that, Gohan flew his way back to the pub.
When he was close to the pub, he saw Tsukauchi's car park outside.
"Hmm? Tsukauchi's here?" Gohan thought when he saw the car.
He slowly landed in front of the pub and pressed the button on his watch so the Saiyaman suit in his body inserted into his watch. He stepped inside the pub and found out that Tsukauchi, and Emi were sitting in the stool chairs in front of the bar table. While Yuuji was standing behind the bar preparing some drinks. Looked like they were discussing about something. And when Gohan reached them, Yuuji was the one to realize him first.
"Oh Gohan, welcome back." He said as he looked at him then followed by the others to turn their attention.
"I'm home. Anyway what're you doing here?" Gohan said as his eyes turned to Tsukauchi.
"Nothing, I just came to have some nice drinks after today's work. Anyway, how's your day?" Tsukauchi asked.
"Drinks after works? I remembered you told me you were busy with some works to do so you can't pick me up." Gohan responded.
"I've done my job faster than I expected, besides, you said you want to go home by yourself while enjoying your time as a hero, Mr. Saiyaman." Tsukauchi said.
"Saiyaman?" both Yuuji and Emi were surprised to hear that words.
"Yeah, that's his hero name. Kinda lame doesn't it? I bet he named it after a food from his hometown." Tsukauchi continued, pretending that he didn't know the meaning behind that name. But what he said brought Yuuji and Emi to looked at each other. They already had an idea where he got that name from.
"Hey! Don't you dare mock a prideful name like that!" Gohan said, he might be not proud of how his Saiyans ancestors way of conquering planets, but this was his hero name, no one allowed to mock it except his mom.
"Yeah yeah whatever, so how's your day?" Tsukauchi asked.
"Tsk!" He responded a bit annoyed, before he continue. "I did it, got accepted as a teacher at UA."
"Congrats, I know you'd succeed." Tsukauchi said.
"Yeah thanks." Gohan responded. "Anyway Emi, thanks for the tie, I like it." As he looked at her.
"Don't mention it, I'm glad you like it."
"Anyway, you looked tired, you okay? Better get some rest." Yuuji said as he looked at Gohan's tired expression.
"No, it's just... there's something on my mind." He said, then turned at Tsukauchi. "Hey, we need to talk." He wanted to talk about the new information he'd just got.
"Gohan, you better clean yourself and change your clothes first. You looked a bit tired too, better get a little rest." Emi said.
"She's right Gohan, better take a little rest first, you can talk tomorrow." Yuuji said.
While Tsukauchi didn't commented on him, he saw Gohan and thought that the saiyan needed to take a little rest.
"Maybe you guys are right." Gohan said then he walked upstairs to his room, to get changed and had a rest.
Once he got to his room, he took off his suit, and the vest. His mind was full of the information from Kitoki, and now he had to find those bad guys who might already transformed to anyone and hide their energy. How would he find out about these villains or the orb? Moreover he needed to be careful to his surroundings, they might be around him now, disguised as other person.
And then when he was going to take off his white shirt, he took off the tie Emi gave him earlier, and looked at it. He remembered something while he was looking at that tie, he remembered this morning, when he was talking with Kitoki and then Emi came to his side, interrupted their talking to gave him the tie and told him that Tsukauchi was there, waiting for him.
"Tsukauchi was right, I should be grateful to have these kind and nice people around me." He thought, as he was still looking at the tie.
"Emi, she really startled me when I was talking with Kitoki. I thought she caught me talked to someone, I couldn't feel her energy coming towards me at all haha..." Gohan thought and a little smile came to his face, until he realized something.
"Wait… I can't feel her energy!? C-could it be?"

And yeah I used Bojack, Bido, and Zangya as the main villains for Gohan in this story, I change a bit about their power level, as I mentioned in this chapter, Zangya and Bido had the same level as Cell and higher, meanwhile for Bojack, I made him as strong as Majin Buu. Also, I made Zangya as a half android, you know like 18 and 17, but unlike them, her power or stamina could still be depleted.
