"Where are you taking me?" Mystified, Kid demands from Index as they descend down to who knows where, they had explained they were going to the lowest level of the book but the index had stopped Kid, saying the index had to show him something before descending down into the darkest depths of the book.

"Your wish for knowledge boy I can sense it. You crave the knowledge to understand, an understanding denied to you, an understanding to understand your parents as the index it is my duty to provide you with these answers." The index explains.

"What are you…?" Confused, Kid begins brow furrowed only for his bright gold to widen when finding the page having been turned, finding himself in a laboratory of some sort, beakers broken smashed smudges of substance smeared all over the stone floor, seeing scarlet smeared all over the walls, all over the floors, everywhere. His nose twitches at the heavy stench of iron and copper hanging heavily in the air.

Kid turns to stare, his gold glued to the back of the woman before him, having perked up at the harsh sobs breaking through her as she was on her knees crying her heart out, her body draped over a coffin of some sort, a coal crisp coffin with accents of gold gleaming, glistening. She seemingly mourns the body within, garbed in fine fabric of coal as dark as the night sky even. The tears freely fell from the woman before arising, gritting, grinding her teeth together, looking determined, looking hunger, looking feral.

Kid stares stunned at the woman before him, the stranger storming past him as Kid clumsily catches up to the woman before the bright beam of white light that was the door flashing him, blinding him as next thing Kid knew…

"Werewolves!?" Amazed, Kid stares stunned at the sight of the werewolves running rushing through the heavy foliage of the fierce forest, the tall trees towering over the pack. Kid stares at his mother with the group of wolves, running to their hearts content, leaping over streams, jumping over rocks, seeing some wolves dive into a spring of sorts, some invite the girl giddily grinning going on ahead, beaming brightly, feeling the adrenaline pump through her veins, feeling the wind flow through her hair, feeling nothing but joy, happiness and excitement pump through her veins as she looks to her side seeing an older man by her side smiling softly at her. She smirks at the male by her side before she goes on ahead, a glint gleams in the older ma's eye as he chases after her the two in their own little world.

Kid saw the bright blazing proud pyre before him, seeing the fierce flames perform before the group of werewolves laughing, having the time of their lives. Some raise their wooden drinks downing whatever concoction was within, others soundly sleep. Kid could hear the buzz in the air seeing the heavy hue of rub red upon the intoxicated faces of the people some dancing around the fire while others perform with instruments of some sort, some signing to the song while others clap. He sees some brave souls leap over the fierce flames but what stands out most to him is the woman sat down by the other werewolf women, braided her hair. Kid could see the brown beads tangled in her hair, seeing beaded crown coiled around her ankle and more beads wrapped around her arm, descending down from her forearm all the way to her wrist as she has flora intwined into her hair with painted patterns marring her skin.

Stunned, Kid stares shocked stunned at the sight of his mother garbed in smooth silks fo fine fabric, looking like a forest nymph almost like the ones he's read in fairy tales with her long wild locks freely flowing in the crisp chill breeze brushing through her hair. Her hair tangled braided with floral of all sorts, some flora he recognises others he did not seeing the fine braided beads tangled in her hair with floral. Kid could see the petite petals of snow white from a magnolia interwoven in her hair.

Kid raises a brow when seeing a man standing tall, a fair few bowing their heads in terms of respect to the male making his way over to his younger mother's side. Her gold glisten gazing into the older man's own hues. He offers his hand out to her just as a crown of branches interwoven with flowers perched upon her head, a flower crown of sorts as she smiles up at him. Happily, he takes her hand in his as she slides her hand in his then grins as she stands up. The two dance around the flickering flames, their hands flat against one another. Their hues never leave one another as Kid simply stares feeling his heart drop at the sight feeling his chest clench around his heart at the side. Who was this man? Who was this person? Who was he to his mother? Mystified, so many questions flow through his head at the sight of the two chatting, conversing, dancing to one another's heart content. Kid's hues look up at the sky his hues widening to be the sky so clear so beautiful, so shining, no inch of cloud of stains in the sky looking magnificence, beautiful before him. The shimmering stars shining down upon the werewolves below, the moon bare before the world where the people below cheer celebrating to their hearts content.

"Your mother would ally with anyone she could to take down your father. There was nothing she wouldn't do to avenge her family, to bring down…" The index explains to the devastated Kid his gold glistening staring sadly at the scene before him having no idea how to feel about this. He knew his parents lived separate lives before but to see it was…odd, unnerving even.

"My…father…" Hurt, Kid whispers watching on shocked stunned even as one of the werewolves nestled in her lap, reaches out to her, gently taking her by the cheek, bringing her close as the two share a kiss. Kid stares stunned at the display, feeling an odd sense of dread, disgust even at the sight sure he had seen his mother kiss before whether it be his cheek or kiss his father, that was embarrassing sure seeing such open displays of affection was rather repulsive to Kid but it was nothing compared to the deplorable sickening sight before his very eyes…

"A woman who lusted for the justice denied to her people, to her mother, who lusted for a world where she could feel like the people that she once were, lusting for the power to re-join her family back in the afterlife, lusting after the aspects of humanity denied to her…." The index explains to Kid his hues widening when seeing his mother arise from the men bare before the world while she herself adjusts the feeble fabric clung to her, taking out a small slick dagger, shaking, quivering, quaking, glaring, glowering at the age-old scars marred into her skin.

"Mother…." Kid whispers, his voice cracking, breaking briefly seeing the bright beady illusion of a once bright broad smile soon falter, the mask breaking cracking revealing a disgruntled, tired girl shakily sighing bowing her head, raising the dagger high in the air as Kid turns away pained just as the page turns and Kid hears the soft sob of his broken mother escape her lips before leaving that chapter, descending down into the next chapter of the book of Eibon.

"And my father?" Frowning, Kid furrows his brow befuddled as both he and Index descend down further into the pages before him. He furrows his brow as he descends down towards the unknown having no clue where he was being taken.

"Hm?" The index hums turning towards Kid.

"That chapter before you focused on my mother what of him?" Confused, Kid questions unaware of Index turning the chapter towards greed until…

"…Your father was a glutton, he'd take whatever he wanted without a singular shard of regret, of sorrow, of guilt. He wanted to make the perfect world forcing what he believed to be as good to shape it into what he deemed to be perfection. He took whatever he liked, he took the lives of those that were persecuted that were chased down, that were trying to live their lives but all your father saw was agents of her…" Index explains to Kid whose gold hues dilate dread flowing through him as the chapter turns and he is welcomed to a sky of raw red, seeing flickers of snowflake like ambers waft high in the air beads of glistening amber shining shimmering as if acting like the shimmering shining stars now coated, covered, cloaked in a heavy thick veil of flames. Kid stares stunned at the sight of the blackened clouds, the chapter before had shown the sky to be so beautiful, to be so bright to be so…

The sharp scream cuts Kid off his hues widening when seeing child cry out to the high heavens, pleading for it all to stop as Kid stares stunned horrified at the festering flames feasting upon the homes around them, homes filled with people, homes filled with sentimental stuff, now filled with smoke strangling those inside.

Agent of her?" Kid stares shocked, stunned when seeing a fair few, an army almost as he sees those with torches, pitchforks armed and ready surrounding the woman tired to the pole be set ablaze only then to hear the callous caw of…

"Your mother." Index answers as Kid stares wide eyed at the familiar bestial bird.

"Men fire!" Death orders taking Kid aback as he sees the archers aimed at the bird.

"No!" Kid cries out only to see said arrows some engulfed in fiery flames be deflected by the swift slap of the birds wing watching said arrow impaled in fire ignite further flames, some houses that had been spared from the crossfire soon joint in by the feast flame fleeing from the arrowhead to the house.

"No stone could be turned. He believed each witch he killed a hint of madness was leaving the world. He had deemed them to be agents of your mother killing them would weaken her to the point of victory. He believes with your mother gone he could change the world for the better a world imposed by his ideals, by his beliefs, by his views no one else's…

"… .Father…" Faintly, Kid whispers, his gold glistening gleaming blinking back the tears threatening to fall when seeing the beast bellow, when seeing the creature cry out to the high heavens as the beast boisterously bellowing, spreading its wings out high in the air as it moves its arms around in the open air as gushing gales comes crashing down. The boisterous burst of wind comes crashes down extinguishing the fierce flames that were once going to devour the women tied to the pole as just then strand strands of feathers fly down swiftly striking at the ropes, freeing the woman who come crashing down gasping, taken aback by the sudden freedom bestowed upon them.

"The bitch…" Kid flinches from his father cursing hearing his deep snarl seeing his father glare, glower up at the bird above while on the other hand, the newly freed women look up at the cawing creature screeching, cackling, heckling almost at it's victory.

"You're not getting away with this!" Enraged, Death snarls surprising Kid when seeing his father from the past lunge at his mother from well the past, raising his hand to her making Kid stare stunned at the creature's cry of anguish as she fell, descending down into the ground below, shifting contorting, the crisp crunch of bones bellowing loudly through the fierce flickering flames remaining rampaging around the place.

Now!" Loudly, Death orders his men throwing stones at the creature crying out as some stones knock the eye of the bird bellowing, clearly in pain as they threw stones over the creature soon pinning it down to the ground below.

No! Stop! Stop it please! Father please!" Pleadingly, Kid distressed drenched in his tone pleas for his father to stop seeing the creature crying out flailing, wailing to the high heavens its distress cries causing Kid to slam his hands on his ears trying to muffle his mother's pleas for aid, trying to blink back the tears threatening to fall it was all…so real. He could hear it, his mother's fearful fretful voice, his father's loud dark deep husky voice the same voice that when he was punished would send shivers down his spine that would make him burst into tears. He hated this, he hated seeing them like this, this was enough it had to be it had…

Your father stood for law while your mother stood for freedom. Two sides of the same coin one order the other…" Index cuts Kid's thoughts off as he slowly shakily removes his hands, remembering well where he was, where he stood, where he was imprisoned as he watches the scene play out, seeing children cry out as they ran only to end up in cages, seeing girls be caged, be tied up, hearing his father's firm order of keeping the potential witches bound as their mothers would be separated from them, some trying to flee only to be swiftly silenced by the swift strike of the blade, blood bursting out of their slitted throat terrifying Kid.

Madness." Miserably, Kid whispers watching the creature go limp seeing the net holding the creature down with stones swiftly be cut down as the bird screamed, screeched to the high heavens. The men Death had ordered, had surrounded himself with, were screaming, screeching as crimson currents came gushing out of them, their nails having cut their skin slits marred all over their feeble flesh as some had managed to tear their throat, swiftly silencing their screams of distress while others had grabbed the rocks that once pinned the creature down, smashing it across their skull, the crisp crunch of bone being the last thing they heard before falling flat to the ground below.

…Yes." Index confirms as they soon watch those maddened those engulfed within same wavelength pounce upon everyone, anyone in their sight tears them limb from limb, children being stoned to death, mothers having their eyes torn out from their sockets, fathers furiously clawing at their throats, parched almost as others have their ears torn out. They screamed, shouted, cried to the high heavens before falling flat into the crimson current below leaving Death there, his coal claw coated crimson also as droplets of ruby red descended down from the ground below where the woman who had tried to flee, who had tried to run was swiftly cut down just as the bird took off leaving Death alone in the landscape, having the soul of a witch in his claw having won this match but at what cost?

Kid stares stunned, blinking baffled when he finds himself no longer in the fierce flames of the village, no longer feeling the harsh heats of the furious flames feasting on anything they could leap on, no burning those desperately trying to flee only to be captured to be…Kid crosses his arms anxiously at the thought of those poor children all due to their heritage, all due to the blood that pumped through their veins!? Fury flows through Kid at the thought, how could his father be so cruel? His mother was trying to save them but what she did was no better…that wavelength even if it were a past memory he could feel it, he could feel the instinct to scratch at his neck hear the sickly sweet voice teasing, taunting him, feeling the cold crisp teasing touch of her telling him to do it to do it…

But you know what these two had in common?" Curious, Index asks the befuddled boy snapping out of his thoughts. He couldn't help but stare in awe almost at the change of scenery, finding it a much more fitting place despite the sudden shift in tone as he turns towards Index.

What?" Intrigued, Kid asks quirking his head to the side.

Their envy of mankind." Index reveals making Kid blink baffled.

Envy?" Lost, Kid furrows his brow befuddled by the thought, their envy of mankind…Kid bows his head at the thought, he supposed he could understand, he too felt the same when he was younger often feeling alienated, left out of things due to being the son of Lord Death feeling no matter what he did no one could beat him, this isolation this sense of loneliness…

Kid soon turns towards the scene before him. His gold glisten widening when remembering the man from before, seeing the pack before him. Kid grimaces at the sight of the man with long blonde hair cascading down noting a fair fe shy silver streaks from the crown of branches he wore similar to the crown casted upon her by the woman of the pack of sorts, seeing tattoos of some sort marred into her forearms, wearing fresh fabrics of fine silk, smiling up at him. He knelt down looking longingly at her. He places his head down upon the seated cushion of her lap as she combs her fingertips through his hair as he looked to be beseeching, begging, pleading to her almost as if she were a deity and him a simply peasant as if she were a goddess and he but a humble pathetic pilgrim being blinded by her light.

She simply smiles down at the man before her as Kid's hues expand when seeing her shake her head. The male seems to plead, beg, beseech her, try to reason with her but she simply shakes her head at him just as then a faint breeze brushes against Kid's black roots making him wince. He closes his eyes, gently placing his hand on his head, combing his fingertips through his brown roots, trying to brush aside his fringe, furrowing his brow as time seemingly passes, where the man once draped over her is with another woman, smiling softly down at the baby boy scurrying around, giggling giddily, joyous. Their parents watch the offspring play in the forest to their hearts content as Kid sees his mother's sad strained smile watching the family play amongst themselves as she watches over them, sat down by the stream, eyeing the glistening gold apple in her hand tossing it up and down amused as a glint gleams in her mischievous glittering gold.

Kid furrows his brow when noting another man by her side, an arches from the bow strapped to his back, looking lovingly up at the woman simply staring at the glistening gleaming apple in her hand. She looked bored almost at the attention bestowed upon her, before deciding to converse with the hunter happily, the two talk, chat to their hearts consent.

That's…" Kid furrows his brow when he then takes note of the familiar male lying flat on the floor below, men and women draped all over him, kissing his cheeks, each with a goblet of their own, a faint buzz of ruby red smeared upon their cheeks, clinging to the male with a heavier hue of a blistering blush upon his cheeks. He downs the bigger golden goblet in his hand, swirling it about as purple droplets descend down from the goblet, hitting the icy blue stream going about its day below him. The male bows his head to the river poking at the shy stream snickering when seeing the ripples from the singular prod.

Just then the screen soon shifts as Kid could see graves with her standing above them. She looks older, in a separate space to her lounging self, garbed in a crisp coal cloak, looking solemnly sadly smiling down upon the graves, gently placing a bouquet of some sort upon the graves.

The scene soon shifts showing an more rough looking Lord Death with…

Is that…?" Kid stares stunned wide-eyed, whispering when seeing said woman in lord Death's arms draped over him, almost glued to him as she clung to him, looking up at him with her purple hues, the webs within her iris glowing, glistening gleaming and yet as she reached up, about to touch the mask of Lord Death…

She was pushed back.

Bitterly, the witch sneers scowling at Lord Death, her back turned towards the god of death who had his back turned to her heading off, crimson coating his coal claw.

Mankind was gifted the freedom of life not burned by their responsibilities, they could live how they wanted they could marry whoever they wanted but your parents could not…no matter how they married they would die, no matter who they befriended they would die, no matter who it was…they would die…

Index explains to Kid staring stunned to see both his parents tending to graves, both looking sad, solen, sullen even as Ava places a bouquet down upon the tombstones while Death simply stands there each of them separated, tending to their own respective graves. The both of them look sadly down at the graves as Kid couldn't help but see the lonely look in both their eyes, only then to blink baffled when seeing their soften hues soon sharpen similar to the sharpness of a blade almost as Kid could feel some strange sense of dread from that look alone.

This envy of theirs swiftly turned to hatred, turned to fury…

Stunned, Kid gasps when waves of fierce flames suddenly strike at the petite pages Kid had found himself in, hearing the sharp sizzle, crisp crunch and harsh hiss of the furious flames feasting upon the parchment papers before him. He gasps when Kid looks down at the change of environment below finding himself once perched upon the grassy terrain below, once feeling the teasing touch of feeble frail stray strands of grass gnaw at his ankle now feeling the blistering boisterous heat brush against his form. He feels beads of sweat sliding down his tense temple furrowing his brow by the bloodbath below, his nose scrunching up at the stech of iron and copper hanging heavily in the air.

Kid's gold hues widen when hearing the sharp screams erupt from the battlefield below. He gasps when seeing his mother standing tall with her brother by his side clinging to her, almost looking fearful, furrowed brow clear as day. While on the other hand, his mother looked stoic, scowling, seething from the sheer sight of the figures on the other side of the battlefield where Lord Death stands tall, claw coated crimson, scarlet smears slather down descending down into forms of tender teardrops freely falling on the ground below, glaring, glowering at the two twins before him while between both god and demi gods of sorts stood the people, the soldiers, the mortals fighting for their lives, for the victory of their respective deity.

"Nope." Swiftly, Kid turns his back when noting the familiar top hat popping up between the boisterous beasts, swarming the battlefield, grateful he wasn't standing on the battlefield, not only getting involved in the memory playing out but not having to see a certain…someone.

Loudly, the boisterous bellow of a howl erupts from the lift of what appears to be the pack leader, looking up at her, looking pleadingly, begging, beseechingly almost at her. She simply stares down at the battered, bloodied, bruised soldier in her eyes. Uncaring towards the silver sheen of a blade that came crashing down above him as scarlet splattered out of the body before it came crashing down to the ground below where the younger Ava simply stares scoffing at the sheer sight of the body below, brushing it off, dismissing another fallen solider. Kid simply stares perking up when noting the eerie moon above him turned blood red as the war raged on between both order and madness.

Is this…the reason why the werewolves went extinct?" Shakily, Kid questions Index, furrowing his brow by the sad sight of the poor people below giving their lives for their parents petty feud…

It was one of the major facts to their extinction yes." Unfazed, Index confirms nodding his head making Kid grimace, swallowing shakily at the fact. He had recalled Maka mention of a werewolf, the same one that had attacked the academy that had freed the kishin…was this…was this his reason for doing what he did? For his people…Kid couldn't help but furrow his brow at the thought.

…B-But they were immortal how did they…?" Kid furrows his brow befuddled; confusion clear upon his furrowed feature trying to comprehend the bodies below.

Everyone has a weakness even with the gift of immortal bestowed upon them by the goddess gift they will always have a weakness." Index explains as Kid couldn't help but take note of the callous cold tone of Index. Kid took note of the humans below armed and ready for whatever was thrown their way. The sleek silver of the men's weapons armed and ready for whatever was thrown their way, seeing sickles, seeing scythes, seeing swords as far as the horizon as the boisterous bellow of the wolves continue flooding the battleground, snarling screaming. They rush towards the troops, in their true wolf form, firing blast after blast of some sort of magic while others tore the humans limb from limbs, pools of crimson came crashing down, feeding the earthy grains of the ground below.

Kid places his hand over his mouth disgust drenching his furrowed facial features, his hues shaking, quivering, quaking when noting the bodies of some many littered one over the other, humans, witches, werewolves, so many bodies being disposed of, casted aside as the flies feasted upon the poor people, their souls lost to time, their souls having been given to the gods they gave to their gods, to their home, to their people, sacrificed for this vicious war. Kid couldn't help but the sharp sting of vomit threatening to crawl up his throat, hurting his voice, feeling the searing sensation of the geyser dig deep into the inner walls of his throat, that he tries to keep down, tries to keep at bay before the bloodbath before him.

Why…? Why did this happen? What came to this? What caused all this to happen? Kid couldn't help but ponder sadly staring at the poor people below sacrificed for the fight between his parents. Why did so many people have to die for them? What had caused this? What had brought this on? Kid furrows his brow by the murky memory of Eibon, of the temple, of his mother…

Was this what it had come to? What had triggered this still? Kid couldn't help but wonder what had led to this all happening? What had led the two people throwing soldiers after soldiers at one another to have a family, to make him…he didn't know, not one bit…so many questions still lingered, haunting, hammering in Kid's head as he tried to come to some sort of understanding for the scene before him. But even if he had asked Index, a part of him knew a figure such as Index would not know, for a being of knowledge he clearly lacked the emotional aspect of humanity, of the people, of the outside world to comprehend what had changed, what had made them decide to stop all this…Kid couldn't help but feel disappointment pump through his veins, fury flow through his veins even at his parents battle. How could they let so many people die? His mother had led the werewolves to extinction!? His father was no better from the piles upon piles of bodies being feasted upon by the furious flies hovering hanging around in the open air.

And why were these wars formed? Why did these wars start? All roots from wrath which soon turned to pride for both gods, whose envy soon turned to pity, turning to look down at those below seeing them as nothing more than pawns."

Is…is that me?" Horrified, Kid stares stunned at the sheer sight of the back of the boy before him, his back turned to Kid simply staring at the child standing before him, in some strange room, a room he had never seen before was this his room? It seemed to be from his mother tending to the boy before him, in her lap.

I don't…I don't remember this story." Confused, Kid takes note of the book before him, peering over the shoulder of his mother, brow furrowing when noting the boy's back still to him, unable to look at him as he tries to but finds his perspective shifting changing, morphing. Kid blinks baffled when despite his attempts at trying to see his younger self's facial features he is met by the back of his head. He furrows his brow further when taking note of the lack of Senzu lines upon the boy. Last he checked, he had the lines since he was born…maybe that was wrong? Maybe it came as he grew…? Kid still shakes his head at the thought bushing it aside as he couldn't help but further furrow his brow by the book. He saw the picture show a taller giant of some sort hold a baby bundle of fabric dropping it into his mouth making the baby boy in his mother's lap flinch from the sheer sight only then to perk up when seeing said male devourer be swiftly defeated by his other offspring.

Still….why would his mother tell this story to him? At that age? Wasn't it a bit inappropriate? Then again he remembered constantly reading as a child t the point of asking his mother to read him book far above his years due to having read most of the books from home and even the library, he remembered angering his mother tugging at her trouser leg, pleading, begging, beseeching and so his wish would be granted but this was…something seemed off…Kid just didn't know what to make of it all.

"Another nightmare?" Tentatively, Ava crouches down to her baby boy's height seeing the duvet drape over his form, snapping Kid out of his thoughts when hearing his younger self whimper.

"There all I have mother I only sleep well when you're with me!" Shuffling, the young boy wraps his arm around her as Kid couldn't help but furrow his brow. He didn't recall being this needy for his mother if anything his mother was the needy one…

"Asura you're a big boy now. You don't need me to keep the nightmares at bay." Gently, she removes him from her, petting his head as she takes a seat on his bed.

"But you're the only one, the only…" Whimpering, the tears freely flow from the child confusing Kid, he didn't have nightmares often but even as a kid he'd just read a book and calm down or well go and make sure everything in the house was organised, his parents weren't happy when it was 3am in the morning and finding him adjusting some things in the fridge.

"It's alright sweetheart it's okay…" Softly, she asks him, smiling sadly when seeing his small shy nod.

"N-No it's not! You died! A-And…" Wailing, the boy cries out, sobbing his heart out, clutching his mother's shirt as she shushes him, rocking him back and forth.

"You'll be okay…" Ava assures him.

"I'll…I can't…I can't…be alone!" Desperately, the younger Kid whimpers clinging to her side as just then…

It always seems more quiet in the dark

It always feels so stark

How silence grows under the moon

Constellations gone so soon

I used to think that I was bold

I used to think love would be fun

Now all my stories have been told except for one...

Kid couldn't help but furrow his brow when watching the boy still out of his sight be poked by the forefinger to his nose. Kid didn't remember hearing this song as a child, he sees his younger self and mother approach the window. She and the boy look up at the grinning moon above smiling sadistically down at them only making the boy curl closer into his mother's arms, shyly staring up at the moon.

As the stars start to align

I hope you take it as a sign

That you'll be okay. Everything will be okay

She smiles down at the baby boy in her lap, looking out at the window where the grinning moon hovers above the world, smiling at the two as she feels the little boy in her lap quickly grab hold of her shirt hiding away from the moon, shaking. Softly, she places her hand on his black locks, combing her fingertips through his hair. His ruby reds widen when meeting her glassy gold, her grip tightening around him, holding him, her arms around him which he eagerly returns, nuzzled nestled into her side.

It all seemed so fast

I knew it would never last…

Although the day could be my last

You will be okay. When I'm gone you'll be okay...

And although I may die

You can find me in the sky

Upon the last day

And you will be okay...

Gently, Kid's mother places his younger form down in his bed tucking him in as Kid couldn't help his hues from softening sadly, his glassy gold softening sadly at the rather miserable song. It sounded so despondent, so rejected, so disappointed even the lyrics didn't help for that either was this how his mother felt when being with his father if so why be with him in the first place? Perplexed, Kid couldn't help but ponder why as he slowly but surely made his way over to the boy, trying to reach out to the duvet draped over the boy, a cocoon of sorts as he tries to unveil his younger form, too many question floating in his head but before he could, he gasps when suddenly three familiar roaring red eyes appear right before him making him gaps, reeling, recoiling back, stumbling, staggering back, cradling his head. Next thin Kid knew Index has turned the page and he delved deeper into the dark depths of Eibon's book.
