Episode 2

First Battle in Smash

It was early morning. Everyone was just getting up.

Except for Adrien.

Marinette slowly tiptoed to Adrien's bed. "Kitty, wake up."

Adrien woke up just then. "Did I almost oversleep? Thanks, Marinette."

"No problem!"

Everyone had a good time at breakfast.

Then, battles began.

Before each Smasher went to their battles, they studied a handbook to find out their special moves, and the superheroes and supervillains transformed.

"So, for down special, I have my yo-yo used as a shield," said Ladybug. "I have the 'hooking around people for the side special, grabbing onto things for my neutral special, and Lucky Charm for my up special. As for my Final Smash, I have Miraculous Ladybug. It says, 'The Ladybugs will instantly KO the fighters they touch.'"

"As for me, I've got staff extending attack for neutral special, shielding for down special, staff recovery move for my up special, and 'catching people with my staff extending' for my side special, then Cataclysm for Final Smash."

After everyone got prepped, they began the matches.

Battle

Ladybug and Cat Noir vs. Pit and Palutena

Palutena's Temple

The four landed in place. Palutena came out of a gate, Pit fluttered down, Cat Noir vaulted to his spot, and Ladybug swung to hers.

"Three, two, one, GO!" yelled Master Hand from far away.

All four rushed into action. Ladybug tackled Pit, who sent an arrow at Cat Noir, who simply blocked it, then vaulted up to a higher ledge, where Palutena was.

"You'll never defeat us!" yelled Pit.

About ten minutes into the battle, a Smash Ball appeared.

Ladybug and Pit dove for it first. Ladybug smacked it with her yo-yo, and Pit hit it with an arrow.

A staff extended right into it, and Cat Noir landed, glowing with a hazy light.

Palutena jumped down as well, and Ladybug used her side special, then nodded to Cat Noir.

"Cataclysm!" he yelled, hitting Pit, who went flying off the stage.

Meanwhile, Dark Pit was fighting Lady Sabertooth.

"Stay still!" she yelled.

A Smash Ball flew above, and Lady Sabertooth hit it twice, but Dark Pit grabbed it. He knocked Lady Sabertooth down, and pulled out his staff. "Goodbye!" he yelled, as Lady Sabertooth went flying off the stage.

When he landed in the winner's area, he held a fist out like a fist bump. "Nice try!"

When he made it out, he nearly ran into Ladybug and Cat Noir, who were smiling.

"How'd the match go?" he asked.

"We almost lost, because we kept getting thrown back, but we made it."

"Phew. That's a relief."

"Yes, sure is!"

They headed to see their next matches.

Meanwhile, Hawkmoth had just finished up a match with Ganondorf, and lost.

The two shook hands. "Nice job," complemented Ganondorf.

"You did well too," said Hawkmoth.

Later on, at night, he crept into Ladybug, Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, and Carapace's room. He saw their Miraculouses beside their nightstands, and took them.

Gabriel Agreste/Hawkmoth: They don't have any matches tomorrow, I looked at their schedule. If somebody needs to cover for somebody else, or one of them has a match that they can't back out of, Lady Sabertooth can get the job done. I don't want to get in trouble for this, which is why I'm doing this whole thing secretly. Wish me luck.

He crept out, and ran to safety in his own room.

By the way, to give you some info on the dates from the first episode to here, the Smashers arrived on a Wednesday, trained on Thursday, and had their matches on a Friday. So in Smash World, it's going to be Saturday next episode, which is a free day, so the French Superhero Team is probably going to be searching for their Miraculouses. I'm going to assure you, that they don't transform right in front of Hawkmoth. Somebody else will get the Miraculouses back, then hand the jewelry over to Marinette, Adrien, Alya, and Nino.
