All right, I'm back.
This is our first multi-part episode group. I hop that you enjoy.
We also see a little more romance between Luzalina and Ike.
Also, I forgot to mention. Robin is male, and Corrin is female for this story. Just letting you know.
All right! Onto the episode.
Episode 5
Missing Residents
(Strange Events Part 1)
Over the past few days since Robin's akumatization, several things had been happening.
First, Luzalina, a friend of Rosalina's, had been fidgety lately. Nobody knew about what was going on, not even Piper McLean, who was an expert on love terms.
Second, Leo Valdez had gotten scolded by Master Hand, because he had nearly burned down the mansion.
Third, the son of Hephaestus left without telling anyone, and especially Master Hand.
And last, Chrom (the Exalt of Ylisse) and Bayonetta (an Umbra Witch) had gone missing. Annabeth Chase had tried to get coordinates down, but she couldn't find them, and none of the superheroes could figure out the location.
Meanwhile…
Luzalina sat down in a chair in a small, cozy library, reading a book. She normally didn't do this, but she was feeling distracted, and had nearly gotten herself KO'd in battle earlier in the week. She didn't want to be doing anything worse, so she decided to take it easy today.
Then, when she wasn't paying attention, Ike entered the room.
"Luzalina?" he said. "Are you okay? You seemed...fidgety earlier."
"I'm fine," she answered.
"No, it doesn't seem like it!" Ike exclaimed, then gave the librarian there an apologetic glance.
"Really, it's okay," said Luzalina.
"I'm serious. It's not," the Radiant Hero of Legend pointed out.
Luzalina looked up from her book in surprise.
"You know?"
"Yes. Figured something had to do with the messed up match earlier today. I think that you've got something going on. And I promise, unless we're in danger, I won't spill the beans."
Luzalina opened her mouth to speak, but the librarian ran over.
"You two need to head to the meeting room straight away. Master Hand needs your help."
As the two left the library, Luzalina turned to Ike. "As soon as we've gotten this over with, I'll tell you."
"Got it," he replied.
In the meeting room, 28 residents waited for two more people. Those residents were: Mario, Pit, Ladybug, Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Dark Pit, Snake, Lucina, Robin, Carapace, Lady Sabertooth, Peach, Daisy, Rosalina and Luma, Alicia, Corrin, Annabeth, Percy, Piper, Reyna, Nico, Ness, Lissa, Phira, Peresa, Shulk, Fiora, and Link.
They were waiting for Ike and Luzalina to arrive.
"Gods of Olympus, does it take them this long to arrive?" asked Piper.
"Relax Piper, they're coming," the daughter of Athena said. "Just relax."
"Honestly, I can think of one thing that is keeping us waiting," said Ladybug. "They probably didn't get the message beforehand, so they came late. I mean, that's the only thing that I can think of that makes sense."
"It makes sense to me too," agreed Piper.
"Same," added Annabeth.
"Thanks for the guess, Bugaboo," Cat Noir replied.
This only led to 26 facepalms, and one irritated groan.
"Cat Noir, please stop calling her 'Bugaboo'," Pit sighed.
Dark Pit nodded, giving Ladybug a look of sympathy.
"I can relate. Pit Stain here has called me 'Pittoo', so it happens."
"Hey, that's on rare occasions now!"
Suddenly, Luzalina, Ike, and Master Hand came in.
Piper let out a sigh of relief.
Master Hand quickly explained what was going on, handed out supplies for the trip, and the thirty members of the small group in the meeting room headed out.
Half an hour later, they reached a fork.
"Are we supposed to take a certain path?" asked Pit.
Annabeth pulled out the riddle cards that Master Hand had given her. "The first card says, 'To the left, to the right, to survive, or to fight, there's one path, I say, that will lead you, the right way.' Now what is that supposed to mean?"
"'To the left, to the right, to survive, or to fight…'" Luzalina thought about this. Why did it seem so familiar? Then, she remembered. She had gotten this riddle once, and figured it out. Left, went towards surviving, which was not true, and strayed you off, and the right went to fighting, which was where you needed to go if you wanted to stay on track. "I've got it. I got this riddle before, and solved it." It was true. She had solved it.
"What is it?" asked Annabeth.
Luzalina used her fingers to show what she meant. "Either way means fighting, but the survival part will only throw you off track."
Alicia nodded. "I made a mistake with going left, and nearly got killed. I'm never going left with this particular riddle ever again."
"Let me guess. When you were trying to escape your parents?" asked Robin.
"Uh…"
Lucina chuckled. "I think you said 'I' instead of 'us'. Because WE made the mistake."
"Yeah, true!"
"Then it was the battle between the Ylisseans and the Plegians, after your parents told me that they were going to try to get you back."
"Exactly."
"Anyways," said Lucina, "the right path is our only option."
"Let's go then."
They encountered a lot of monsters along the way, but not as bad and Alicia or Lucina remembered during their 'left path mistake', as Robin had started calling it.
Then, they encountered a fountain, in which Annabeth pulled out her second riddle.
"This one says, 'The fountain shall flow, shimmering with gold, as a magic man, touches it as foretold.' What's that supposed to mean?"
"Doesn't that mean Midas again?" Piper asked nervously.
"Probably. But be careful. Don't get touched."
After all sorts of problems and riddles, they finally reached a spot that led to a narrow passageway.
"I think that's where Chrom and Bayonetta are," said Lucina.
As she was speaking, a group of monsters with poison tipped swords came out.
"Uh-oh!" exclaimed Luzalina.
"It's time to fight!" yelled Robin.
The group and the enemies engaged into battle.
A few minutes later, only two monsters remained. Cat Noir extended his staff and took out one, but the other went out of his reach, and dove for Luzalina.
"Luzalina, watch out!" yelled Ladybug, jumping and pushing Luzalina to the ground. Unfortunately, in the movement, before the monster was taken out, the sword left a poisoned cut in Luzalina's right arm. The two landed on the ground, and a whirling microphone hit the monster.
Luzalina was relieved, but as she was about to thank Ladybug, black spots started dancing in her eyes, and she was feeling very dizzy.
"Luzalina?" Cat Noir knelt down. "Is everything okay."
"I-I think so," Luzalina replied.
Ike knelt down, and propped Luzalina up on his knee. "It doesn't look like it. We'd better get her back to Smash Mansion!"
Luzalina felt dizzier. The last thing she saw was Ike, Ladybug, and Cat Noir looking down at her before she blacked out.
She woke up back in the library, on the couch that she had been sitting on before Ike arrived.
Five faces looked down at her: Chrom, Bayonetta, Cat Noir, Ladybug, and Ike. They were all looking at her worriedly.
Chrom let out a sigh of relief. "Thank the gods! I didn't think that she was ever going to wake up!"
Ike managed to get Luzalina up into a sitting position. "Are you feeling any better?"
"Y-yeah," she replied.
Ike gently folded his arms around her. "I'm so relieved that you're okay!"
Chrom grinned. "Glad to see that you're better, Luzalina."
A joyous day awaited ahead.
All right. That is Missing Residents, Part 1 of Strange Events. We will have good and bad parts in these, starting with the good, then getting interrupted with the bad, then back to good. It wasn't exactly good in this chapter, but we'll get positive later on.
Anyways, see you later. I'll get to Episode 6 when I have the time. Bug Out!
