Eminated: Dunno if you're still reading this, but thanks for giving me a good laugh. Also, dunno if you missed this but I did say: "This story may or may not have some similarities with other stories you've read and I'm sorry, I didn't intentionally mean for that to happen." … So, shrug, no need to be rude about it.
Thor10: Thanks for making me chuckle. I understand where you're coming from as incest isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it is fanfiction. But of course I don't think of my mother that way 'cause of the Westermarck Effect. It's when you grow up with a relative/someone for a few years of your life you become desensitized to any sexual attraction. So technically, Naruto or Kushina's attraction to each other is acceptable here.
papavil450: If you're possibly still reading this: oopsies. Sorry that you don't like the story, I deeply apologize, but if you stick around until the Valley of the End, maybe your opinion will change? But that's all you, maybe next time you'll like a story of mine. Anyway.
Samuel Santillan: I'll think about it, but it won't be guaranteed.
NinjaFang1331: You're welcome! Glad you enjoy the story.
dragonslayerjahn: Thank you, but if people hate, they hate. Also, I must've accidentally removed Ryu. But don't worry, she's here.
Frozen48: Some of those might not be joke suggestions… and I'll have to think on those harem requests.
biginferno: Just wait until you see the chapter of them.
UnsanMusho: I agree.
Sorensenspitfire: I update the story every Friday (or try to), so just wait until then.
weebvious: Sasuke will get what's coming to him, Naruto's just super tolerant of him for now. And of course Haku would be a replacement for him, that's the best choice so far. Yes, the list is huge, but don't worry about it. If it's too much, I'll cut it down, maybe in half, maybe more. I wasn't planning on adding them, but things happen and now they're in.

Reviews give me incentive to write more (although I'd be writing regardless) so keep it up! But only the nice reviews, you can say what's wrong and give me criticism but don't be super rude about it, please. Anyways, you guys are awesome, thanks for reading!

Chapter 12: Sakura Haruno & Yugao Uzuki
What do you think of when you see the name "Sakura Haruno?" Do you think of some legendary ninja like the Shodai Hokage, or a missing-nin like Zabuza Momochi? Or maybe even a clan member like Sasuke Uchiha…? No, you don't think of those things at all.
Not many people know Sakura Haruno. She doesn't come from a famous clan like the Hyuuga or the Uchiha, she's just a regular civilian, yet she became a ninja regardless of that fact. Whether she was doing it because of someone else or herself doesn't matter in this case, well… it does… BUT! She became a genin and that's proof that any civilian could be a shinobi if they tried hard enough.
Sakura woke up in her bed and stretched. For some reason, she felt better than usual, like way better than usual. She got up from her bed and quickly switched to her kunoichi clothes. One look in the mirror and she grimaced.
'I need an outfit change… why did I think this was okay?' Sakura asked herself as she pinched her qipao.
"Ya know, we can worry about your outfit change later, Sakura," Inner Sakura chimed in.
"Since when did you get vocal?" Sakura asked as she scoffed.
"Ever since I felt like it. Got a problem, say it to my face," Inner Sakura harshly responded.
"You have an attitude for no reason," Sakura mentioned as she put her hands on her hips.
"You have a big forehead for no reason," her inner self countered, making Sakura's eyes widen.
"I'M GONNA-" But before Sakura could finish, there was a knock at her door.
"Sakura sweetie, I made breakfast!" The pinkette's mother notified her daughter.
"Okay Mom! Thanks!" Sakura replied. 'We'll continue this later…'
Sakura made it downstairs and saw steamed rice, miso soup, grilled fish, and umeboshi on the table. She smiled as she sat down and began eating. Her father was reading a newspaper while her mother was getting herself situated in her chair. After a moment of silence, Sakura's mother was the first to speak.
"So, Sakura, how is it on your ninja squad?" She asked her daughter.
Sakura looked up at her mother and finished chewing her rice. "It's… something. Let's just say it wasn't what I was expecting."
"Don't get severely injured, ya hear?" Sakura's dad chimed in as he looked up at her father.
Sakura gave him a soft smile. "I'll try not to, but no promises."
"Who's on your team again? Sasuke Uchiha and… him…" Her mother remembered as she slightly scowled. Her father also scowled as he continued reading his newspaper. "When I heard the news… I was frustrated… how could they let him be on a team?"
"I know right. He doesn't deserve to be on a team at all," Sakura's father agreed before shaking his head. "I hope the Hokage realizes this and kicks him off of Sakura's team."
The pinkette recoiled back at hearing this. 'How could they speak so badly of Naruto like that?'
"Woah woah woah, hold your horses, Forehead. You were speaking badly of Naruto not too long ago too," Inner Sakura pointed out.
The girl's eyes slightly widened. 'I-I know… but after knowing what I did wrong, and hearing others do exactly what I did isn't okay at all!'
"Then do somethin' about it."
"Sakura, dear, you should bring it up with the Hokage and get Naruto off your team. Sasuke is a better teammate anyway since he's an Uchiha and-"
"Enough!" Sakura interrupted, making Mebuki and Kizashi quickly look at her. "Stop talking bad about Naruto, he's done nothing wrong!"
"Sakura, you don't even know what you're talking about! Do you know what that boy is?! He's the Kyuubi! That thing could be released at any time and we'll all be in danger! Hiruzen should've locked that kid up for the rest of eternity, not have him become a shinobi!" Kizashi stated as he put his newspaper down.
"I've seen the Kyuubi," Sakura replied, making her two parents gasp.
"That's nonsense! How could you have seen the Kyuubi?! It hasn't appeared in years!" Mebuki questioned.
"Naruto transformed into it when we were on our last mission. He protected me from being killed by thugs!" The pinkette answered.
"That's bullshit! He's a kid, there's no way in hell he could 'control' something as powerful and threatening as the Kyuubi! He probably went on a rampage and only attacked them before Kakashi had to stop him and you were just hallucinating or hit hard enough to not remember the events clearly!" Kizashi assumed. The pinkette's eyes widened before she grit her teeth and slammed her hands on the table.
"Fine! I'm bringing Naruto over and you'll see how wrong you are!" Sakura got up from the table and stomped her way to the front door.
"Wait! Don't bring that demon to our house, Sakura!" Kizashi shouted at his daughter, but she ignored him and opened the door before slamming it behind her. Sakura began speed walking through the village to locate her blonde squad mate.
She walked around for ten minutes, but couldn't find the blonde anywhere. 'Ugh, where is he?!' Sakura asked herself, but she soon found the answer to her question when she saw the blonde at a small shop with three other girls. She recognized two as Hinata and Haku, but didn't know the other one.
The pinkette walked up to the blonde, and the group noticed her.
"Oh, hey Sakura! How are you?" Naruto greeted with a hand wave.
"Hey, Naruto. I'm good, you?" Sakura greeted back. She quickly glanced at the girls beside the blonde and realized they were sending her looks of suspicion.
"I'm great!" The blonde responded. "Say, what brings you here anyway?"
"Oh, uh… I just… need you for something, that's all," Sakura responded. Hinata, Haku, and the other girl's look narrowed, making Sakura nervous.
"Need me for what?" Naruto asked as he tilted his head.
"It's… something important, and I don't wanna say it in public, ya know?"
Naruto looked up at the sky before looking at the two girls. "Hinata, Hanabi, Haku, you mind if I go with Sakura for a bit?"
"No."
"Not at all."
"As if."
These answers surprised Naruto.
"D-Dont worry! It won't take long, probably thirty minutes at least," Sakura reassured with an awkward grin.
Hinata, Hanabi, and Haku all looked at each other before glaring at Sakura.
"What's up with the change in attitude, Sakura? You seemed to not want to have anything to do with Naruto when you first met him, so why now?" Hinata questioned.
"L-Look… things on our recent mission changed and I realized that I was completely in the wrong," Sakura confessed.
"That quickly?" Hinata asked as she tilted her head. "What about those times you demoralized Naruto? Calling him an idiot, a good-for-nothing dumbass, you always belittled him with Sasuke… the list goes on, Sakura."
"I-I'm sorry for saying those things, I really am-"
"Uh huh. Like we'd believe you? Yeah right," the other girl interrupted as she crossed her arms.
"Girls, that's enough," Naruto spoke, catching the attention of the four girls. "Hinata, Hanabi, Haku, I understand where you're all coming from, but it's fine, trust me."
"You do realize what she's done, right?" Haku checked.
"Yes, Haku, I know exactly what she did, but I believe that I should give her a chance to change. And I will."
They were silent for a moment before Hanabi spoke. "Fine, he can go with you, but if he's not back in thirty minutes, we're hunting you down," Hanabi threatened as both her and Hinata's Byakugan activated, reinforcing their threat while Haku flashed three senbon.
Sakura flinched back as she nodded. "You got it!"
Naruto finished his bowl of ramen before getting up and leaving with Sakura.
"Hinata, Hanabi, and Haku sure are scary," Sakura spoke as she released a sigh of relief.
"Heh, you're telling me. I remember the last time I accidentally made Hinata upset," Naruto added as he scratched his cheek.
Sakura looked at the blonde curiously. "Oh really? What happened?"
"Well… I accidentally called her chubby one time and she would've killed me if she didn't trip," Naruto replied as he chuckled.
"Naruto… you should know to not call a girl chubby, you idiot…" Sakura said as she sighed.
"W-Hey! It was involuntary! How was I supposed to know?!" Naruto questioned in his defense.
Sakura shook her head with a smile. "It seems like you need a lesson on the do's and don'ts for girls."
"I don't think that's necessary."
"You might need it in the future. Your flirts can only get you so far, ya know," Sakura pointed out as she put her hands behind her back.
"I know how to talk to girls, Sakura," Naruto responded with narrowed eyes.
"Uh huh… sure," Sakura said doubtfully.
Naruto sighed before looking ahead. "So, what was so important we had to walk?"
"Well… I need you to turn into the Kyuubi in front of my parents…" Sakura admitted as she looked away. Naruto stopped in his tracks.
"W-Wait, hold up… you want me to turn into the Kyuubi… in front of your parents…?" Naruto restated.
"Listen… they were talking bad about you and thought that you were the Kyuubi. I just want to prove them wrong about you so that I don't have to hear them trashing you," Sakura answered as she looked at Naruto.
"That's interesting coming-"
"Naruto, I know what I did… and… I'm really sorry that I was so mean to you for all these years. I can't believe it almost took me dying for me to realize that… I know a simple 'I'm sorry' isn't enough, so please tell me what to do to make up for it and I'll do it," Sakura interrupted the blonde. Naruto's eyes slightly widened, but then he looked past Sakura in thought. He then smiled brightly as an idea came to mind.
"I want you to get along with Hinata, Hanabi, and Haku," Naruto told the pinkette.
Her eyes widened. "W-Wait… that's all…?"
"Mhm, believe it! I don't need you to do anything absurd. Just get along with those three girls and I'll forgive you," Naruto answered as he looked at the pinkette.
"Oh… uh… okay, I'll try my best," Sakura promised.
Naruto put a hand on Sakura's head and rubbed it, causing her to blush. "I know you can." He then began walking ahead as Sakura stood there in shock. "So, where's your house at?"
—
Naruto and Sakura made it to the latter's house. Once they entered, Mebuki and Kizashi were sitting at the table with glares. It seemed like they were waiting for the two to arrive.
Sakura glared back herself. "Father, Mother, this is Naruto." Naruto looked between the family members and could sense the tension in the air.
"Hello… Naruto," Mebuki greeted with venom laced in her voice.
"Uh… h-hi, Mrs. Haruno," Naruto greeted back as he bowed. "Hello, Mr. Haruno."
The pink haired man just raised an eyebrow at the blonde.
"Please, have a seat," Mebuki offered the two genin as she gestured to the open chairs in front of her.
"Thank you, Mother, we will." Sakura led Naruto to the chairs and they both sat down in them. Both of Sakura's parents were glaring at Naruto. The boy kept their stares, then looked around the house. It wasn't very special, but it was better than his own apartment.
"Your place looks nice," Naruto complimented.
"Thank you, though it's nothing special," Mebuki thanked.
"Still better than my place," Naruto added as he looked back at the married couple.
"I'll go make us some tea," Sakura informed the group quickly before she left.
"Better than your place? What do you mean by that?" Kizashi asked as he raised an eyebrow.
"Heh, my place is pretty rundown, and it's small too. I don't live in the nice part of Konohagakure, ya know," Naruto replied with a small smile.
"It must be rough. I heard that it can get violent over there," Kizashi mentioned.
"Yeah, it can. When I was still a kid, people would constantly search for me. They'd put down their differences and only target me," Naruto confirmed as he sighed.
Mebuki's glare faltered slightly. "T-They'd do that to you when you were a kid…?"
"Mhm. And things got even more violently during the Fox Hunts. No matter what, they'd go out of their way to even break the laws of Konoha if it meant getting their hands on me."
"How long have they done this for?" Kizashi wondered.
"Years. They stopped doing it ever since I became a genin which was this year. So… they've been doing it for eight years," Naruto estimated with an awkward grin.
Mebuki and Kizashi's expressions dropped entirely. They had looks of shock on their face. "E-Eight years?! How old are you now?!" Mebuki inquired.
"Thirteen."
"S-Since you were five?!" Kizashi checked as he couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"Heh… yeah…" Naruto confirmed as he looked off to the side. "It's been rough… but hey, I'm still alive now, ya know."
"Wow…" Mebuki commented. "I-I'm… I'm sorry…"
Naruto looked back at the woman before smiling. "Don't worry about that, it all happened in the past, ya know."
"No… no, no, I'm sorry about talking bad about you. I just… assumed you were something when… you're not… you're not the Kyuubi at all, are you?"
Naruto flashed a foxy grin. "Nope! But I'm friends with him!"
"Friends?" Kizashi asked as he raised a brow.
The whiskered blonde nodded. "I got a chance to talk to him when I was younger, and we've been friends ever since!"
"You can be friends with a Bijuu…? I've never heard that one before…" Mebuki admitted as she looked at her husband. He just shrugged.
"Well, I was younger when I met him. He wasn't as scary as everyone made him out to be," Naruto answered with a shrug. "Kids can make friends out of monsters, it's pretty interesting."
"You didn't know who exactly the Kyuubi was, huh?" Kizashi guessed.
"Yeah. I only heard about him at the time. I didn't know he was this big bad fox that 'destroyed' our village," Naruto confirmed the guess.
"Wait… you're implying that he didn't destroy our village…" Mebuki caught on.
"Well, he did but not because he wanted to. He was being controlled by someone using the Sharingan at the time, but when that person lost control, he ran away. Of course, you can't really let a Bijuu just run wild so the Yondaime caught up to him and sealed him inside of me at the cost of his life," Naruto informed.
"Wait… if you're saying someone with the Sharingan did it… then it must've been an Uchiha…" Kizashi speculated. "But who? It couldn't have been Itachi, right?"
"If it was Itachi, he would've killed his clan during that time too, since there was confusion. He wouldn't have done it at a later time like he did," Mebuki debunked as she sighed. "Plus, I don't think he wanted to destroy the village. He was a gentle person."
"What if it wasn't one of the Uchiha in the clan?" Naruto wondered. Both Harunos looked at Naruto in confusion.
"What do you mean by that?" Kizashi asked.
"I mean… it had to have been someone really strong to take control of the Kyuubi, right? Not just anyone with the Sharingan can put the Kyuubi under a genjutsu. Their Sharingan has to be powerful," Naruto expanded as he leaned back.
"Well, Fugaku has a powerful Sharingan, doesn't he?" Mebuki asked as she looked at her husband.
Kizashi closed his eyes. "He does. But, why would he summon the Kyuubi here?"
"Well… the Uchiha clan has been under serious monitoring ever since the Nidaime Hokage…" Mebuki mentioned.
"Did anything happen to Fugaku during the Kyuubi attack?" Naruto asked.
"Not that I know of. I was tasked with keeping an eye on him by an Anbu member, and he seemed fine to me. He helped the civilians get to safety, and his Sharingan wasn't active either," Kizashi replied.
"So then that crosses off Fugaku. It had to have been an Uchiha that wasn't a part of Konohagakure," Naruto said.
"Unless there's a hidden talent among the Uchiha and we just didn't know it…" Kizashi pointed out, crossing his arms.
"We don't exactly know who's Sharingan was that strong besides Itachi and Fugaku," Mebuki added.
"Oh well… it was highly unlikely we were gonna solve it so easily," Naruto said with a shrug. "Let's just drop it for now." Both parents agreed, then Sakura came in with the tea. She set it down in front of everyone before taking a seat next to Naruto.
"Thanks for the tea, Sakura," Naruto thanked as he took a sip. 'Hm… never had tea before, but it sure does taste delicious!'
"It seems like you've warmed up to Naruto a little bit," Sakura pointed out with a smug smirk as she glanced between her parents. Naruto put his cup down and looked between the two parents as well.
Mebuki shot her daughter a look. "Quiet, you."
"So, you still wanna see that he can turn into the Kyuubi?" Sakura asked.
Mebuki and Kizash looked at each other before looking back at the two genin. "Sure…" Mebuki responded hesitantly.
Sakura looked at Naruto with a smile. "You're up, Naruto."
The whiskered blonde nodded before getting up from the table. He walked away from it and turned around. He quickly clapped his hands together and in an instant, he turned into a smaller version of the Kyuubi. Mebuki and Kizashi's eyes widened as they were on high alert.
Naruto looked at Sakura and sighed. "I did it… happy now?"
Sakura put her hands together and smiled. "Mhm!"
Naruto then looked at the two parents. "Well… this is… the Kyuubi, as you can see." Both parents nodded slowly, then Naruto transformed back. "I can freely turn into the fox Bijuu whenever I want to. It's under control."
"Alright… we believe you," Kizashi said as he dropped his guard.
Naruto smiled slightly. "Great to know."
—
Naruto and Sakura were walking back to the ramen shop where they left the three girls.
"How long did we stay at your place for?" Naruto wondered as he looked at the pinkette.
"Uh… I dunno, maybe twenty-five minutes…?" Sakura guessed with a shrug.
"Ah well, the girls will understand," Naruto waved off.
"Yeah, but it's me we're talking about. They don't like me and they have a good reason to," Sakura pointed out.
Naruto looked at her before looking ahead. He began humming before an idea came to mind.
"Let's spend the day together," he suggested.
"H-Huh?! Naruto are you crazy?! That will never work!" Sakura said as she looked at the blonde bewildered.
"I understand why you think it won't work, but you'll just have to see." Sakura didn't like that idea, at all…
The two made it to the ramen shop and saw Hinata, Hanabi, and Haku still there, waiting. Naruto smiled as he walked a bit ahead of Sakura.
"Hey Hinata, Hanabi, and Haku!" Naruto greeted with a hand wave.
"Oh look, she brought her back," Hanabi noticed as she glared at Sakura.
"And with a minute to spare too," Haku added.
"You're done with him, yes? You may leave now," Hinata told the pinkette.
"Sheesh, these girls are ruthless," Inner Sakura commented.
'They have a reason to be. I don't blame them, even if it hurts slightly,' Sakura replied as she took a deep breath. She was about to speak, but then Naruto spoke first.
"Actually, I forgot that I have to do something. I'll see you three later!" Naruto informed the group of girls. "Sakura, we'll spend the day together another day, see ya!" And before they could protest, he vanished. The girls looked at the spot in surprise. Hinata glanced at Sakura and saw she was still there.
"What were you doing with Naruto?" Hinata queried, which caused the other girls to look at the pinkette.
"N-Nothing! I just… wanted to talk to him…" Sakura replied as she put her hands up defensively.
"About what?" Hanabi questioned with a raised brow.
"About… things, ya know…?" Sakura checked. The other girls looked between each other before looking back at Sakura.
"What things?" Haku quizzed.
Sakura didn't want to respond why, but Naruto did say to get along with them… and telling them the truth is the first step of doing that.
Sakura took a deep breath. "Okay… My parents are like everyone else and think that Naruto is the Kyuubi and didn't think he could control such a beast, so I wanted to prove them wrong. I brought Naruto to my house and he proved them wrong, so now my parents don't believe he's the Kyuubi anymore," Sakura admitted. The girls remained silent as they stared at Sakura, making her uncomfortable.
"Wait… you brought Naruto to your house?"
"And he met your parents?"
"And wasn't chased out?"
Sakura was slightly confused at the questions. "Uh… yes, I did bring him to my house, yes, he did meet my parents, and no, he wasn't chased out," Sakura responded to the questions.
"And how did he prove it?" Hanabi wondered.
"Uh… he turned into it…" Sakura answered.
Hinata and Hanabi both looked at each other, then at Sakura. "He can turn into it?" The younger Hyuuga asked."
"Yes, he can," Haku responded. The girls turned to look at her. "He did it on the last mission he was on. There were a bunch of thugs surrounding us and he transformed into the Kyuubi while also having the Kyuubi by his side. So, Sakura's story is believable."
Hinata and Hanabi looked at Haku before looking at Sakura. Hinata sighed as she turned to the man working the small shop.
"Thank you for the meal, we'll be off now," Hinata said as she pulled out some ryo and placed it on the counter.
"Have a nice day, girls!" The man called out.
Hinata nodded before her, Hanabi, and Haku got off of their chairs. They walked past the pinkette.
"Come on, Sakura, let's go," Hanabi told.
"W-Huh?"
"I didn't stutter, did I? I said let's go. We need to talk," Hanabi restated as she looked at Sakura from the corner of her eye.
"O-Oh! Okay…"
—
Yugao Uzuki was just like any other Anbu shinobi. Cold, efficient, skilled, silent… she was the perfect image of an Anbu shinobi, but she also had a caring side to her. It was speculated that she liked another shinobi. A chuunin, by the name of Hayate Gekko. It may have seemed like the two were in love and were becoming closer… but that was false.
The Anbu kunoichi was currently walking along the roof of her favorite whiskered blonde's apartment, Naruto Uzumaki. The two had a lot of catching up to do since the last time she saw him.
"So, Naruto, how've you been lately? It's been a while since I saw you," Yugao wondered as she looked at the blonde.
Naruto put his hands behind his head. "Oh, ya know, just went on a pretty big mission and learned a lot. I also figured out what my weird affinity is," he responded as he put up his bandaged arm.
Yugao's eyes slightly widened. "Oh really? What is it then?"
"It's kinda complicated to explain, so I'll keep it short. Basically, the offspring of the God Tree is inside of me like the Kyuubi is," Naruto simplified.
The kunoichi stayed silent for a minute. "Wait… you mean the God Tree that helped this land grow?" Yugao guessed. Naruto nodded.
"If that's what you wanna believe, sure," Naruto answered as he looked ahead.
"What do you mean by that?"
Naruto sighed before going over the true reason for the God Tree and everything about the tree from what Kirai told him.
"Wow… that is… hard to swallow," Yugao commented after Naruto's storytelling.
"Yeah. I was shocked to hear it too. Especially since, ya know, I'm younger," Naruto agreed as he put his hands on his hips.
Yugao smiled as she put a hand on his head and rubbed his hair. "My cute little Naruto is growing up so fast!"
Naruto crossed his arms before looking up at Yugao. "I'll be taller than you soon, Yugao-sensei! Then you won't be able to call me little anymore!"
Yugao giggled. She realized Naruto wasn't saying it out of embarrassment, but as a fact. "Oh yeah? Guess we'll have to see. But for now, you're my little Naruto!" Yugao then hugged Naruto in surprise.
"Woah!" Naruto yelped in surprise before returning the hug. Yugao squished Naruto's head between her breasts, causing the whiskered blonde to blush. The purple haired kunoichi began rocking Naruto. The whiskered blonde grumbled and narrowed his eyes before quickly flipping Yugao into a bridal style position. The kunoichi blushed as she didn't know what Naruto did.
"Don't expect to tease me and not get teased back, Yugao-sensei," Naruto whispered with a sly smirk.
'How the hell is he carrying me…?' Yugao asked herself as she stared into Naruto's eyes.
"If you're wondering: you're not that heavy," Naruto added with a foxy smile. Yugao angrily pouted and looked away. She glanced back at Naruto before wrapping her arms around his neck. The blonde was surprised by this, but then Yugao pushed off of Naruto's arms and used his neck to assist her backflip. The Anbu kunoichi kicked Naruto's legs in and made him fall as she sat down. Yugao caught her former student and laid his head in her lap. Naruto was surprised by this maneuver and didn't expect his former sensei to do that.
Yugao looked down at Naruto with a smirk. "As you were saying?"
Naruto stared into Yugao's brown eyes. "Your eyes are beautiful, Yugao-sensei."
Hearing the compliment, she blushed as her eyes widened. Naruto used this moment and did a kip-up, then instantly back flipped over the stunned kunoichi. He grabbed her head and placed it in his lap. "No more reverse-leapfrog, Sensei. One more and we'll both fall."
Yugao was tempted to test that, but when Naruto began rubbing her hair, she relaxed.
"How've ya been lately, Yugao-sensei?" Naruto asked.
The kunoichi sighed. "Tired and confused."
"What are you confused about?" The blonde asked.
Yugao stayed silent. Over the days since she last saw Naruto, she really missed him and it had been awhile since they last talked. She loved her whiskered blondie, but she didn't know in what way she loved him and she was still trying to figure that out. Then came Hayate Gekko. They talked, yeah, but not as often as people thought. Sure they looked perfect together, but Yugao wasn't feeling the same way. She saw Hayate as nothing more than a friend, a comrade. Did Hayate think the same, or more? Yugao didn't know. But when it came to Naruto Uzumaki… boy did her feelings fumble over each other. Just looking at him would make her blush. But… he was just a kid, and that was wrong… or was it? Naruto hadn't been a kid for a while, no, he was a full-on shinobi. Maybe she just needed to realize that.
"... I'm confused about my feelings for someone," Yugao confessed. "I… I love them, but I don't know what way I love them. Recently, I've been trying to figure my feelings out, but I can't. They're all a jumbled mess. I want to say that I love them and want to be with them, but another part of me is debating against that."
Naruto nodded before looking up and humming. "You should probably take some time off if it's really bothering you. Spend some time alone, and not worry about any missions while you figure your feelings out. Talk to some friends if you have to. After that, then tell the person how you feel."
"But what if they don't want me back?" The purple haired kunoichi wondered.
"Yugao-sensei… you're a very beautiful kunoichi and woman, ya know. Hell, even I can't resist your looks, and I'd one hundred percent date you. And, you're really caring. You've proved that by being my sensei and spending a lot of time with me when I was younger. Even now, you went out of your way to see me when I was with my friends," Naruto stated. "Whoever you love, I bet they'll reciprocate your feelings."
Yugao thought about the blonde's words for a moment. She stared into his eyes as he stared back. She could stare into Naruto's eyes forever, but unfortunately that wasn't possible.
The Anbu kunoichi smiled and closed her eyes, or else she'd be there for a while. She reopened them and got up from Naruto's lap. Yugao turned around and grabbed Naruto's face, then kissed him. The blonde was caught off guard for a second, but then kissed back.
The kiss only lasted for a short moment before Yugao broke the kiss.
"Thank you, Naruto," Yugao thanked. "We should spend time together again."
"Of course, I'd love to, believe it," the whiskered blonde replied. Yugao smiled before flickering away in a swirl of leaves. Naruto looked up at the blue sky in thought.
Yugao reappeared in her home and quickly changed out of her Anbu gear. She put on a purple, long sleeve shirt and black leggings. She looked in the mirror and observed herself, but then there was a knock on her window. She turned around to see a woman with a violet and spiky fanned-out ponytail on the right side of her window. She had brown eyes like Yugao's except they were pupil-less, a tan coat with purple seam and underneath it she wore a mesh shirt, and a dark orange miniskirt with a blue belt. She was the one that knocked.
The woman in the middle had long, spiky, untamed brown hair, vertical slits as eyes, red markings over them, red fang markings on her cheeks, and a dark shade of purple lipstick on. She was wearing the standard outfit of a Konoha shinobi and had her arms crossed. The last woman on the left of the window had long, untamed black hair that reached her upper back, red eyes with a ring in them, purple eyeshadow, and red lipstick. She was wearing a red mesh armor blouse with only the right sleeve visible and the blouse had a thorn-like pattern on it. Her hands and upper thighs were wrapped in bandages.
Yugao walked up to her window and opened. "Kurenai, Tsume, Anko, hello."
"What's up, Purple?" Anko greeted back.
"What are you girls doing here?" The Anbu kunoichi asked.
"We're taking you out on a lunch date," Tsume responded.
Yugao looked at Kurenai and the woman smiled. "Come on, we're going to Yakiniku Q."
Yugao looked between the three women before sighing and climbing out of her window. "Okay, let's go."
—
The group of women made it to the establishment and entered. They all got a seat and sat down. Anko was the first one to break the silence as she put some meat on the grill.
"So, what have you ladies been up to?" The purple haired kunoichi asked.
"So far I've been training my team in preparation for the Chuunin Exams," Kurenai responded first.
"My son isn't causing you too much trouble, is he?" Tsume asked with a raised eyebrow.
Kurenai looked up as she waved her head. "Eh, not really. He just needs to control himself… around girls that is."
Tsume grit her teeth as she looked down. "That perverted mutt…"
"Other than that, him and Akamaru show great promise," Kurenai complimented. Tsume looked up at the kunoichi before grinning.
"That's at least good!"
"What about you, Tsume? Anything new?" Anko asked.
"Other than taking care of the dogs with Hana, and helping her with other animals, nothin' really. Lord Hokage made me do menial missions, but that's all," Tsume responded before putting a piece of meat on the grill.
"What about you, Anko?" Kurenai asked her friend.
"Ya know, the same ol' same ol'. I've been interrogating some enemy shinobi that just so happened to cross our borders. I was also sent on an assassination mission not too long ago, but other than that I've been relaxing," Anko replied to the red eyed jounin.
"And eating those stupid dangos," Tsume added, causing the others to giggle.
"Hey! It's not my fault they're good!" Anko shouted in her defense.
"Keep on eating like that, and it'll catch up to you," Kurenai warned.
"You being a kunoichi helps you maintain your weight since you're always moving, but as soon as you stop being one for a certain amount of time, you'll gain a lot of weight," Yugao informed.
"Yeah, yeah, I know," the purple haired kunoichi said as she grit her teeth and picked up a piece of meat off the grill before eating it.
"What about you, Yugao? What's up with you and Hayate?" Tsume wondered as she smirked. Kurenai and Anko both looked at their other purple haired friend who sighed.
"Me and Hayate are nothing more than friends… how many times do I have to tell you that?" Yugao asked as she narrowed her eyes at the other three girls.
"You two seem to go well with each other. Whenever I see you, you look like you're dating," Tsume replied, eating a piece of meat.
"Exactly. Also, you're always laughing with him, and you two have some great chemistry when it comes to bukijutsu," Anko agreed with a head nod.
"Are you sure you two aren't dating?" Kurenai checked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, I'm positive! I don't like Hayate like that, I like someone else," Yugao told the group of girls. All of the girls' eyes widened.
"You like someone else?" Anko repeated as she slightly tilted her head.
"Who is it?" Tsume wondered.
"Well… he's… I don't just like him, I love him. I spent a lot of time with him and… At first, I loved him like… like a teacher loves his students, but since he's been gone, I started thinking about him a lot. Now that he's back, I can't seem to know if I love him like that… or more…" Yugao confessed as she sighed and slumped in her seat. "My feelings are a mess and it's gotten in the way of my missions."
The girls stared at Yugao before looking at each other. Kurenai looked back at Yugao.
"You said… you loved him like a teacher loves his students…?" Kurenai checked. Yugao nodded, confirming the statement.
"Is he younger than you?" Tsume guessed. Yugao nodded.
"... How much younger?" Anko inquired as she slightly leaned forward. Yugao put a piece of meat on the grill as she calculated the age difference in her head.
"... Nine years," she responded quietly, almost inaudible.
"Nine years?!" Anko questioned as her eyes widened, causing some eyes to shift to her. She gave them the stink eye and they quickly turned away. Tsume looked around as she was trying to figure out who that could be. She knew her son was thirteen, but she didn't know about the other boys in the Konoha Nine. But, her son couldn't be the one. Yugao didn't look like she'd even associate with Kiba.
Kurenai looked at the grill as she too, tried to figure out who she was talking about. "... What's he like?"
"Silly… happy… strong… foxy-"
"N-Naruto Uzumaki?" Kurenai instantly guessed. Yugao grabbed a piece of meat and ate it before she confirmed it with a nod.
"Wait… you mean the blonde brat that no one likes?" Tsume asked as she crossed her arms. Yugao nodded, looking up at her with a small glare. "... Huh, well that's shocking."
"What made you like Naruto Uzumaki anyway?" Anko wondered.
"I… don't know…" Yugao answered. "Seeing him happy makes me happy. When I'm around him I'm always smiling and I just… want to protect him, ya know? I've been his sensei before he went to the Academy, and I cared for him a lot. I still do. He just… makes me so happy and I love him for it… something no one else can do…"
The girls remained quiet while Yugao ate her food slowly. She didn't want to look at her friends in case they were glaring at her.
"... Do you want your relationship with him to move past sensei and student?" Anko wondered. Yugao silently ate as she thought about it. Her being with Naruto made her heart hammer through her chest, and she liked the idea. She nodded as another piece of meat entered her mouth.
"Well… if that's what you want, then go for it," Tsume told her Anbu kunoichi friend.
"Huh?" Yugao voiced as she looked at her friends.
"Yeah… it seems like you love him a lot, Yugao. We won't stop you from loving him," Kurenai agreed with a smile.
"I mean… I'm single, so I can't give you shit for that. At least you have someone you love," Anko voiced with a shrug.
"Please. Try scaring away the person you loved," Tsume jokingly responded, making the others laugh. Yugao felt like a giant weight was lifted off her shoulders. She felt better knowing that her friends weren't bashing on her for telling who she loved. Now all that needed to be done was to tell her special someone how she felt.

"Wait… you all like Naruto…?" A confused Sakura restated what the three girls in front of her confessed.
"Yes."
"Yeah."
"Problem?"
"N-No, not at all… I just… didn't expect that…" Sakura responded as she shook her head. Her, Hinata, Hanabi, and Haku talked about her switching sides when they walked away from Ichiraku Ramen. At first, they didn't really believe it, but after confirming some things and promising all the girls something, they were on better terms than before.
She couldn't believe they all just openly admitted to liking the same guy… and none of them seemed to have a problem with that.
"You girls… don't have a problem with that?" Sakura asked as she looked between the three of them.
"I don't see why. I mean, no one owns him," Hanabi pointed out with a shrug.
"B-But Hinata's liked him for years now!" Sakura mentioned.
"Well… it is my fault for not speaking out sooner," Hinata said as she scratched her cheek. "But now that I know that other people like him… it just means that I have some competition, ya know?"
"This also proves Naruto isn't what people make him out to be if multiple girls like him, no?" Haku added as she tilted her head.
"N-No, you're right… but… I thought there'd be some jealousy, ya know?" Sakura implied.
"I can see that, but with jealousy can come hatred, and I don't wanna hate my sister that I'm getting to know more about over a guy, ya know?" Hanabi responded.
Hinata smiled. "Same with me. Without Naruto, I don't think I could've gotten along with Hanabi so well."
"I wouldn't be alive today if it weren't for him," Haku admitted with a gentle smile. Sakura looked at the three girls. Naruto must've made a big impact on them if they're not fighting over.
"Well isn't that interesting. A guy that has multiple girls falling for him and they're not killing each other. You don't hear that everyday," Inner Sakura stated.
'Nor see.'
"So… you're all okay with liking the same person?" Sakura checked. They all nodded their heads. "Al…right then. I can't say anything else…"
"Good, we wouldn't let you anyway," Hanabi stated with a sweet smile, making Sakura flinch.
'... This girl is scary…'
