Chapter 13: Temari Kazekage & Kin Tsuchi
Temari Kazekage, or just Temari, was a girl from Sunagakure along with her younger brothers Gaara and Kankuro. Back in her land, she was feared as the Chilling Sunahime, and everyone was afraid of her!

Unofficial title, but it stuck with the kids her age. No one would cross her… except one annoying kid that wouldn't get the hint. He'd always annoy Temari to no end and was always mean to her for no reason… but at least he wasn't afraid of her, right?
Other than that, Temari did have two friends that would play with her: Sen and Yome. She'd find herself wondering what those two were doing now. It'd been awhile since they last talked.
The Suna kunoichi soon began seeking out someone, a boy, who wasn't afraid of her, and one that caught her eye. And she recently found someone and his name was Sasuke Uchiha. At first glance, she found him to be hot, but when he spoke, that was a complete turnoff. The boy was too proud of himself… and she only got that from the little time she interacted with him, so he was off the list.
But Naruto Uzumaki on the other hand, now, he was different. Not only could he keep his composure, but when he scared the shit out of her and Kankuro with just a look, sent shivers down her spine. Something about the whiskered blonde being scary turned her on, but she wasn't going to admit that.
Temari woke up feeling giddy. She might've found the boy who she could be with. And even though he knew about the Kazekage position, he wasn't scared of her. Man, could this day get any better for Temari?
The sandy blonde got out of her bed and walked up to her mirror. She was wearing a pink, baggy t-shirt that exposed her black bra strap and black shorts. The Suna kunoichi stretched before spinning around and walking over to her closet.
Thankfully her father and all the other Kage paid for all of the participating genin's living expenses. Temari and her brothers were staying in a normal sized house and each had separate rooms. She couldn't imagine Kankuro and Gaara sleeping in the same room. Poor Kankuro would be scared shitless. And so would she…
Temari shook her head and quickly got dressed. Once she was done, she put her weapon on her back and left the house. She began walking the streets of Konoha.
Temari didn't know what to do other than find Naruto. She could practice her techniques, but she felt like she didn't have to, and she didn't want to train with her brothers, there was no way that was happening.
The Suna genin began walking aimlessly, just taking in the village that was Konohagakure. She glanced at a small restaurant and her stomach rumbled.
"Hungry?" A voice asked beside her. She whipped her head around and saw a familiar blonde with a small smile.
"N-Naruto?! How'd you get there…?" Temari asked as she slightly calmed down. Naruto flashed her a foxy grin.
"I have my ways, ya know!" He responded. He then looked past her and at the little restaurant. "Come on, this is my favorite place to eat!"
Naruto unwarningly grabbed Temari's hand and led her to the shop. Temari followed with a light blush. Once they got there, they sat on the stools.
An old man came to the counter with a white hat and robe on. "Naruto! Great to see you again!"
"You were gonna see me sometime soon, Old Man Teuchi!" Naruto greeted back with a grin.
"You want the regular?"
"You know it!"
"And what about you, Miss, what can I get ya?" Teuchi asked the Suna genin.
"Oh! Uh… I'll have whatever he's having," Temari quickly responded.
"One bowl or two bowls?"
"One…"
The old man nodded and went to the back. A girl with long brown hair and black eyes that looked older than Temari came out from the back and smiled when she saw Naruto.
"Hey Naruto! How's it been?" She asked as she raised a hand.
"Hi Ayame! It's been going well, what about you?" Naruto returned the question.
"Oh ya know, same ol' same ol'. No one really bothers to come around since it's a small restaurant, but we're still surviving, thanks to you of course," Ayame responded with a small smile.
"Just doin' what I can to support my favorite place to eat, ya know?" Naruto said with a foxy grin. Ayame's smile grew more before she started helping her father make the ramen.
Temari felt something in her chest. She didn't like the way this girl was talking to Naruto, even though she seemed friendly.
"Hey, Temari," Naruto spoke, grabbing the sandy blonde's attention.
"Hm? What's up?" She asked.
"What's Sunagakure like?" Naruto wondered. "I always wanted to know what the other villages looked like, ya know."
Temari looked up as she thought about her answer. "Well… other than it being constantly sandy, it's alright. It's really hot, so I don't know how you'd fare against the weather, but other than that, it's maybe about as big as any other village."
"You guys don't have clans right? You have families?" The whiskered blonde guessed.
Temari smiled. "Yes, we do. You're pretty knowledgeable, Naruto."
"Ah, I've done my research, ya know. It's not wise to be uninformed about what's outside of your own village. It could get you killed," Naruto stated.
Temari nodded. "That is very true." The sandy blonde then remembered about their last conversation and a light blush returned to her cheeks. "Hey, uh… did you mean it when you said you'd personally exam me…?" Naruto cocked an eyebrow at the weird question. Why was Temari asking this?
He then smiled at her. "Of course. You seem like a pretty interesting girl, ya know? I wouldn't mind getting to know you more… and doing the personal example thing, but that would have to wait until much later."
Temari looked at the counter and nodded, her blush not going away. 'Okay… why can't I keep my cool?! I'm not even flirting with him and he's not really flirting with me so why am I still blushing?!'
Naruto glanced at Temari and a smile crept on his face. He poked her cheek and the Suna kunoichi whipped her head at him.
"What? What's up?" Temari asked with wide eyes.
Naruto flashed her a foxy grin. "It's nothing, your blush looks really cute on you."
Temari could feel her face heat up more and turned around as her blush deepened. "S-Shut up…"
Naruto chuckled. "What? Can't handle a compliment?" Temari didn't respond which made Naruto more curious. "Hm… ya know, your teal eyes are very interesting to look at. They're a weird shade that makes them more entrancing. I could stare at them forever."
The poor girl slightly squirmed in her seat. She shut her eyes, not daring to look at Naruto. She never felt like this before and she didn't know why.
'Why is he complimenting me all of a sudden?!' She asked herself.
"Your outfit looks really good on you, and you make the colors pop out!" Naruto complimented.
"T-Thanks…" Temari thanked quietly. She opened her eyes and glanced at Naruto to see he was smiling at her. "W-What… what is it…?"
Naruto grabbed Temari's shoulders and turned her around to face him. He grabbed her face gently and leaned in.
"You're really adorable when you're flustered, ya know," Naruto whispered, making Temari blush even harder. She didn't know how to respond to that at all.
"Uh…-"
"Ramen's done!" Teuchi called out. Naruto backed up and let go of her face.
"Ah sweet! Thanks, Old Man!" Naruto thanked as he clapped his hands together and began eating. Temari stared at Naruto before looking at her meal and started eating it. Her blush lightened, but was still present on her face. She rethought about what happened a minute ago and wondered why it happened.
She sighed as she continued eating.
"Oh wow, didn't expect you to be here," a female voice spoke that caused Temari to narrow her eyes. Both her and Naruto looked to the left and saw a girl with long black hair and black eyes standing there with her hands on her hips. She was wearing a green vest with grey, snake patterned pants and a skirt with a scarf that had the same design around her neck.
"Hey, Kin, didn't expect to see you around," Naruto greeted with a hand wave. Temari felt the same feeling again with Ayame. She didn't want Kin around here, or else that would cause some troubles for her trying to get with Naruto.
"Is that… Temari, right?" Kin assumed as she looked at the glaring Suna kunoichi.
"Yeah, who are you and how do you know my name?" Temari asked.
"I'm Kin Tsuchi, and me and my team watched you and Naruto interact," Kin responded. Temari furthered her narrowed gaze at the other girl.
"Well, you wanna join us, Kin?" Naruto offered as he patted the seat next to him, which surprised Temari.
Kin crossed her arms. "Sure, why not. I don't have anything better to do." The noirette sat down and looked at what the two blondes were eating.
"Ramen, huh? I don't think I've had it in awhile," Kin said as she looked at the bowls.
Naruto slurped up a noodle and slid his extra untouched bowl to her. "You can have mine. It's really good, believe it."
Kin accepted the bowl and grabbed some chopsticks. Temari glared at this exchange. If only she didn't have a bowl of ramen and something else…
It was quiet for a bit as the three ate their ramen.
"So, you girls ready for the Chuunin Exams?" Naruto asked as he looked between Kin and Temari.
"Hell yeah, I am. I'm gonna pass these things without a problem," Temari boldly stated as she smirked.
"Yeah, I hope these genin don't bore me to death," Kin said as she closed her eyes.
"Ya never know, you could be fighting some really powerful genin," Naruto pointed out.
"Psh, as if," the two girls said in unison.
Naruto looked between the girls with a cocked eyebrow. "Ya know, I think you two are a bit too full of yourselves."
"What, is that a bad thing?" Kin asked, looking at Naruto.
"Yeah, what's that supposed to mean?" Temari joined in, both glaring at the blonde.
"No, it's just that with too much confidence comes pride and ignorance. If you disregard the fact your opponent may be stronger than you, you'll lose because if they pull a trick on you, you won't be able to counter it or defend yourself against it. I'm not saying having confidence is bad, just don't have so much of it you think everyone is weaker than you. You get what I'm saying?" Naruto replied, glancing between the two kunoichi. They both looked at the counter in thought.
Temari sighed. "I know what you mean." Kin hummed in agreement.
"Great!" Naruto clapped his hands together before quickly devouring his ramen, surprising the two girls. After he was done, he sighed in content. "Ah… well, I'm gonna go train now. You two wanna join me?"
"Uh… sure," Temari accepted the offer.
"Yeah, I could freshen up on my skills," Kin voiced. Temari narrowed her eyes at her. She was hoping Kin wouldn't join, but too late now.
Kin Tsuchi. A girl no one really knew, granted she came from Otogakure, she couldn't really blame people for that. But, with the help of her Otokage, her name would be legendary like the Sannin. But for her to do that, she was going to have to pass the Chuunin Exams. She had a good feeling she would pass. Dosu was a good teammate… and Zaku… not so much, but they could make it work.
Other than that, Kin didn't really have anything else going on. She had friends in Otogakure, but no boys were flocking at her feet for her attention. Maybe it was because either she was scary, or her friends were.
But, after seeing Naruto Uzumaki, she was slightly interested… well, that's a lie. She was very interested in him. Not only did Naruto look good, he was pretty strong too, being able to make people freeze just from his killing intent. Kin had to get to know him more, and maybe a relationship could form between the two. Though she wasn't much for them, she felt like this one would be different.
Kin was walking beside Naruto and Temari. They followed the blonde to one of his training spots. Once they arrived there, Naruto walked ahead of the two kunoichi and turned around.
"Alright girls, how about you two versus me?" Naruto asked as he began stretching.
"A two versus one? You sure about that?" Temari asked with a worried look.
"Aren't you being a bit too full of yourself?" Kin checked.
"Believe me, it's fair this way," Naruto responded. "Unless…" he made the clone seal and a puff of smoke appeared next to him. The smoke cleared and revealed a Shadow Clone.
'A Shadow Clone?' Kin realized as her eyes slightly widened.
"You still don't know how powerful we are, Naruto. We could overwhelm you," Temari pointed out with a smirk.
"Ah, you're right, hold on," Naruto said as he made the clone seal again and this time, he made two thousand clones that surrounded the group. "This should be fine, right?"
Kin and Temari both sweatdropped as they looked around. They didn't know Naruto was able to make so many Shadow Clones.
"You know what? You don't need to make any Shadow Clones," Temari said with a nervous smile. Naruto smirked before dispelling all of his clones.
"How are you able to make so many clones? Making one costs fifty percent of your chakra," Kin mentioned with wide eyes.
"I'm a different case," Naruto answered. "I have way more chakra than any normal shinobi."
"But anyways, let's start this, yeah? You can go first, ladies," Naruto allowed as he bowed. Temari lightly blushed while Kin smirked.
"Well aren't you a gentleman?" Kin asked as she got out four senbon.
"Wait, should we really be doing this? We're gonna be enemies during the Chuunin Exams. Wouldn't it be smart if we didn't know each other's techniques and such?" Temari asked. Kin lost her smirk as she realized Temari had a point.
"The Suna bitch does have a point. It'd be easier to know how to defeat each other if we knew what techniques we use," Kin agreed with an insult. Temari's eye twitched as she whipped her head at Kin.
"Did you just call me a bitch?!" Temari grilled.
Kin smirked as she put her hands on her hips. "I did and it's true. Only a bitch glares at another person as much as you do."
"I'm gonna pound your face in for that!" Temari threatened.
"Bitches also lose their cool, just like you're doing right now," Kin pointed out, looking at Temari from the corner of her eye.
Temari grit her teeth, but then smiled as she thought of a comeback. "Interesting, coming from a person that looks like a slut."
Kin's eyebrows twitched and she fully looked at Temari. "What was that?!"
"I said-"
"If you two don't quiet down, I'll turn you both into bitches," a chilling voice threatened behind the kunoichi. Their eyes widened as they turned around to find Naruto glaring at them with his arms crossed. "You two done?"
Kin and Temari both nodded, not wanting Naruto to have to use his killing intent to make them shut up. The blonde sighed.
"I understand your concern, but you girls aren't one-trick ponies. You have other things to counter people's counters, right?" Naruto asked as he looked between the two girls. They looked at each other before looking back at Naruto and shaking their heads.
The blonde sighed again. "Good thing we're training today." He walked past the two and returned to his original spot. "Alright. We're gonna be training in your girls' counters. You need to know that if people find out your weakness, you have to switch to another plan to keep them guessing and not have them think you're a one-trick."
Both girls nodded which made Naruto smile.
"Good. Come at me with all you've got," Naruto told.
Temari grabbed the weapon off of her back and slightly opened it, revealing a purple circle. The Suna genin quickly turned it over.
"Wind Release: Sickle Weasel Technique!" Temari swung her fan towards Naruto and made the wind currents start colliding with each other. Naruto smirked as he saw the rushing winds coming at him.
He then made the Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger hand seals. "Fire Release: Flame Bullet!" Naruto spat out five Flame Bullets that sucked in the wind waves and grew bigger. Temari's eyes widened at seeing the bigger bullets coming towards her and Kin.
"Shit!" The Suna kunoichi cursed before jumping away, Kin did the same thing. The Flame Bullets flew past the kunoichi and hit many trees, setting them ablaze and destroying them.
Kin looked at Naruto rush Temari and threw her senbon with bells attached to them. Naruto could hear the ringing bells and glanced at Kin to see three senbon darting towards him. The blonde smirked before stopping in his tracks and kicking one of his legs up. Naruto followed through the motion and did a barrel roll in the air, avoiding all of the senbon, even the hidden one.
Kin's eyes widened, but when Naruto landed he twirled around and had a ball of wind in his hand. He threw the ball at a fast speed at Kin, and the kunoichi barely dodged it, the ball scratching her side. She rolled and looked at the ball to see it hit the trunk of a tree. The ball exploded and Kin could see it cut up the tree trunk. She then looked back at Naruto and saw him continue to charge Temari.
The blonde kunoichi was about to use her fan to attack, but then Naruto stopped the fan with his foot. He pushed off the ground with his other foot and twisted his body before back kicking Temari's chest. The Suna genin spat out saliva as she was sent back. The blonde girl rolled across the ground before stopping. She looked up to see Naruto holding her fan. Her eyes widened as Naruto opened the fan up more and revealed a second purple circle. He readied the fan as he reeled back.
"Wind Release: Air Bullets!" Naruto swung the fan three times at Temari. Three bullets of air came barreling towards her, and quickly thinking, the Suna kunoichi bit her thumb before planting her hand on the ground.
"Summoning Technique!" A puff of smoke appeared before her, and a giant, white-furred weasel with a green eyepatch over its left eye and had a large sickle almost as long as it's body was there.
The weasel looked at the three Air Bullets and knew what to do. In a flash, the weasel flew forward, cutting the three bullets in half before appearing in front of Naruto. The blonde already had the fan held up in a defensive position and clashed with the weasel. The weasel was surprised that Naruto was able to see it, but then it moved and tried striking the blonde's side. Naruto saw the attempt and blocked it again.
Something shook Temari and she looked to her left to see Kin.
"Cover your ears," Kin ordered. The Suna genin didn't question it and quickly covered her ears. Kin took out four senbon in each hand and quickly threw them at Naruto. She grabbed more and threw those as well.
Naruto spun the giant fan and closed it as he blocked another one of the weasel's attacks. He noticed the bell ringing senbon and shoved the weasel away before spinning the giant fan, deflecting all of them. He saw Kin running up to him and opened the fan slightly, but he then heard bells ringing. The whiskered blonde saw multiple Kin's charging him.
"Wind Release: Cast Net!" Naruto swung the fan and sharp wind currents in the form of a net shot forward. The Kins' eyes widened as they stopped, but couldn't evade and got sliced up by the Cast Net. Naruto then looked around to see multiple Kins and Temaris surrounding him. He grit his teeth, but before he could do anything, a Temari rushed him.
The Temari rushing him quickly made the Rabbit → Bird → Rat → Dragon → Bird hand seals. "Wind Release: Air Current Wild Dance!" The Temari began shoving her palms forward as air currents shot out from them. Naruto put up the fan and blocked the air currents, but he was getting pushed back. Temari shoved both of her palms forward and the air currents were strong enough to make Naruto stumble back. Naruto was about to retaliate, but then noticed three senbon coming after him from different directions behind him. Temari quickly disarmed Naruto and kicked him towards the senbon. Naruto was about to be struck by the senbon, but then smirked. He quickly tripped himself and planted his hand on the ground.
"Nine-Tailed Deflection!" Nine orange tails sprouted in front of Naruto and caught the senbon. The tails quickly flicked forward and stabbed the Kins that threw them.
Outside of the genjutsu, Kin and Temari quickly rushed Naruto, but right when they were about to strike him, the blonde smirked and jumped out of the way. The two kunoichi missed and looked to see the whiskered blonde landed.
"Nice job, you two! But, that won't be enough," Naruto complimented as he curled up his left hand and placed it in his right palm. "Water Release: Shadow Rain Technique."
Dark clouds rolled over the field and it began raining. Temari and Kin looked around as the area quickly got darker and soon, they couldn't see.
"What the hell is this?!" Kin questioned.
"Damnit! I can't see!" Temari informed in annoyance.
"Of course ya can't!" Naruto's voice responded as he chuckled. "Wind Release: Hyouin!"
Temari felt the wind pick up around her, but couldn't see what was going on. She felt like something tied around her arms and body and couldn't move.
"Shit! Kin, I'm stuck!" Temari informed the Oto kunoichi.
"Lightning Release: Instant Transmission!" A bolt of lightning struck down above Temari and formed a cage around her before shocking her intensely. The Suna genin shrieked as she got electrocuted. When it was over, she fell backward.
"Temari? Temari?!" Kin called out, but got no response.
"It's just you and me now, Kin," Naruto's voice said from all directions. "Wind Release: Vortex Ball!"
The noirette suddenly felt something slam into her back. She recoiled forward before being blasted forward. Kin rolled across the ground and hit the trunk of a tree.
"Hyouin!" Kin could feel the air around her change and felt something tighten against her body. She tried moving, but couldn't.
The rain stopped and the dark clouds rolled away. Kin looked up and saw Naruto walking over to Temari before picking her up bridal style and brought the unconscious Suna kunoichi over to Kin. Naruto rested her against the tree. The noirette looked down and saw wind circulating tightly around her body.
"What is this?" Kin asked.
"It's a constant stream of wind keeping you in place. It's to prevent movement, like rope," Naruto explained.
"I see…"
Naruto lightly poked Temari's cheek and woke her up. "Huh… what happened…?"
"We lost," Kin informed her fellow kunoichi. Temari sighed.
"You two girls have a lot to work on," Naruto notified. They both looked up at Naruto. "Temari, you specialize in long range combat, but you need to work on close quarters combat. If an enemy were to close the gap, you'd be in real trouble. Your summon is good for getting you away, but if they avoid the summon, you're in trouble. Also, you need to work on techniques that don't require your fan. If you get disarmed, you need to know some techniques that could either get you away, or increase your chances of winning. You also should work on hand to hand to make it better."
Temari looked down and nodded.
"And Kin, you rely too much on your genjutsu. Though, it is good since it requires sound, and sound is hard to go against, but if they're a Wind Release user like Temari is, you're done for. You need to either find another genjutsu that can make it easier to finish someone off, or find another chakra affinity, or even both. You should also work on your close quarters and long range combat. Just to be more versatile," Naruto advised the noirette. Kin looked away for a second before looking back at Naruto and nodding.
"You both did pretty good for people working together for the first time, but sadly you two don't actually work well. Temari counters you, Kin, and either you have to wait to use your sound genjutsu or attack with something else," Naruto complimented and released his wind technique. "So, you wanna continue training?"
"Yes!" They both eagerly responded. Naruto smiled before making the clone seal. A Shadow Clone popped up next to him.
"What's with the clone?" Kin asked as she raised an eyebrow.
"I'll be training you two separately. It'll be better than having to wait for me to finish up with one of you and keep on switching," Naruto answered.
Kin hummed in understanding before standing up. "I'll take the right one." Temari nodded as she stood up.
"Sweet!" Both Narutos spoke as they grabbed the girls' hands and led them in a different direction from each other.
Once Kin and Naruto were far away from Temari and the other Naruto, he turned around and took two steps back.
"Alright, shall we find out your chakra affinity first, or find another genjutsu to use?" Naruto asked the noirette.
"Let's do chakra affinity," Kin decided with a head nod.
"Alright… we'll start with Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technqiue. It doesn't require any hand seals to use," Naruto said. "Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique."
Naruto slipped underground, surprising Kin. The Oto genin yelped as her feet were pulled down. Only her head was still above ground and Naruto came out in front of her.
"That's how the technique works. It can be used for interrogation, torture, or decapitation," Naruto informed.
"That's pretty interesting, I can't move at all," Kin said as she tried, but couldn't. Naruto smiled.
"Mhm, but I can also do this." Naruto slipped underground again. Kin waited for him to do something, but then felt him tickling her sides.
"W-HEY!" She yelped, but then started uncontrollably giggling. "S-Stop! HAHAHAHA-P-Please!"
The top half of Naruto's body appeared behind Kin. Naruto began snickering while Kin was trying to catch her breath.
"D-Don't tickle me again, jerk."
"Aw come on, your giggle was really cute," Naruto complimented, making Kin blush. She was lucky Naruto was behind her.
"S-Shut up…" Kin whispered. Naruto smirked as he leaned forward.
"Are you blushing?" He guessed. Kin turned away from him.
"N-No, of course not! Get me out of this technique so I can use it!" Kin demanded.
"Fine, fine, yeesh." Naruto slipped underground again and spread out some of the earth around Kin's shoulders. The Oto genin moved her arms and lifted herself out of the hole. She got up successfully and Naruto appeared in front of her. Kin crossed her arms as her blush was light.
"Now, to do this, you obviously have to say the technique name and concentrate your chakra to the bottom of your feet. Push your chakra out from there and if the earth lets you, it'll move out of the way and you slip right underground. As long as you can locate your opponent, you'll catch them by surprise," Naruto explained.
"Alright, I'll try it," Kin said.
"Don't be scared when it happens. You won't get suffocated by the earth," Naruto quickly added. Kin looked at him and nodded before taking a deep breath.
"Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique!" Kin concentrated her chakra to the bottom of her feet and pushed it out. The earth below her opened up and she fell through. Naruto brightly smiled as the first part worked. 'So it seems she has an affinity for Earth, that's good to know.'
Naruto was then pulled under until his head was above the surface. Kin popped up out of the ground in front of him with a cocky smirk.
"Heh, how do you like that, Naruto?" Kin asked, putting a hand on her hip.
"Good job, Kin! You did it first try, that's great!" Naruto complimented. Kin's cocky smirk faltered to a small smile.
"Thanks…"
Naruto closed his eyes and concentrated. The earth around him exploded a bit, giving him room to freely move around. Kin took a step back in surprise, not expecting him to do this.
Naruto climbed out of the hole and crossed his arms. "Alright, this next technique is one I came up with."
Kin was slightly intrigued about hearing that. 'Naruto can create his own techniques?'
"This one's called: Earth Release: Stone Monkey. To do this technique, you have to make the Hare → Snake → Monkey hand seals and pour your chakra into the earth," Naruto instructed. He then went on to make the hand seals he mentioned. "Earth Release: Stone Monkey!"
Stone quickly came out of the ground and formed a monkey from Naruto's body shape. Kin's eyes slightly widened, but then they widened even more as she felt cold steel against her throat.
"What the… how did you get behind me…?" The noirette asked as she slowly turned around. Naruto was smirking behind her, then put away his kunai.
"The Stone Monkey technique uses the earth below you and creates a stone monkey from the shape of your body. You can either stay inside the monkey or travel underground. It's like a combination of using a clone technique and Double Suicide Decapitation," Naruto explained.
"But… I didn't hear you come out of the ground at all…" Kin told.
"That's because I used the Body Flicker Technique," Naruto said with a foxy grin. "You can make the monkey bigger too, but for now, you'll just make it like how I did."
"Oh, alright."
"Wait! One more thing, the monkey can do whatever you want it to do. Just use your chakra to control it," Naruto added as he made the Tiger hand seal and so did the stone monkey. They both flickered away and reappeared in front of Kin, side by side.
"Wow, that's really cool," Kin commented, now really wanting to try the technique
"Now it's your turn."
Kin nodded and made the Hare → Snake → Monkey hand seals. "Earth Release: Stone Monkey!" The noirette poured her chakra into the earth and it quickly began covering her in stone. A second later and the girl was covered in it.
Naruto heard Kin come out from behind him and blocked a kick from her. The girl retracted her foot and smirked. "That's not a bad technique, Naruto."
"Thanks!" The whiskered blonde thanked as he put both hands on his hips with a foxy grin.
"But… uh… how could I use that with my other techniques?" Kin wondered, sheepishly looked at the ground.
Naruto's grin turned into a smile before he put his hand on her head and began rubbing, making the noirette blush profusely. "You could trap them and then use your genjutsu. The stone monkey could be used as a distraction, and while they're fending off the monkey, bam, you use your genjutsu. Or I could teach you an earth technique that could easily trap your opponents."
"U-Uh… I-I'll do the second one. It would be better if my stone monkey could do the techniques as well," Kin responded with a smile.
"Aren't you adorable. Blush and smile, absolutely cute," Naruto complimented. Kin's eyes widened and her blush grew redder.
"S-Shut up…"
The other Naruto and Temari stopped in an open field.
Naruto cracked his knuckles as he looked at Temari. "Alright Temari, we're gonna work on your weakest attribute: hand-to-hand combat, so drop the fan."
"Okay," Temari complied as she rested the fan away from her.
"From what I saw you do during our little spar with your hands, I know exactly what taijutsu style you could use," Naruto said to his fellow blonde.
"What could that be?" Temari asked as she slightly tilted her head.
"You've heard of the Gentle Fist, right?" Naruto checked with a smirk, putting his hands on his hips.
Temari put a hand to her chin. "Hm… yeah, I believe I have. The Hyuuga Clan has that taijutsu style, right?"
"They sure do," Naruto confirmed with a nod.
"So then, what does that have to do with me?"
"The way you use your hands is similar to what the Hyuuga do. I believe you can adapt a fighting style similar to the Hyuuga, but is special in its own way," Naruto answered the Suna genin.
"Okay, I see where you're heading with this," Temari said with a smirk. "Let's get on with it."
"Alright. What you wanna do first is have your hand open like you did when you used the Wild Dance technique," Naruto instructed. Temari had both of her palms open. "Good, now when you start striking me, try and force air out of your palms to shove me back."
Naruto got in a defensive position and Temari got into an offensive position that made Naruto deadpan at her.
"What?! I don't usually fight with my hands!" Temari shouted in her defense.
"Whatever, just strike me."
The Suna kunoichi dashed forward and shoved her palm forward. The whiskered blonde blocked with his left arm and didn't feel any air crash against it. Naruto looked up at Temari and the girl's eyes widened. The whiskered blonde shoved her hand away and tripped her. Temari almost fell to the ground but Naruto caught her in his arms.
Temari gasped and her eyes shot towards the blonde who caught her. She instantly blushed at seeing his blue orbs looking at her.
"You okay?" Naruto asked. Temari nodded before looking away.
"Sorry, I… don't know how to shoot air out of my palms…" Temari admitted in embarrassment. Naruto smiled at her and helped her up.
"Don't be embarrassed about that. It's training for a reason. I'll show you how," Naruto offered. Temari looked up at him and nodded. "Alright, you know how to convert your chakra to wind chakra, right?" The Suna kunoichi nodded. "Great, now do that, and concentrate it to your hands, and when you're about to strike someone, push it out of your palm as you make contact. Got it?"
Temari looked ahead and converted her chakra to wind, then concentrated it to her hands. She shoved a hand forward and a current of air shot out. She brightly smiled before looking up at Naruto.
"Like that?" Temari asked, slightly tilting her head.
Naruto flashed her a foxy grin. "Yeah! That was awesome! Now do that against me!"
Temari blushed at the praise and nodded. She walked back to her original spot and got into an offensive stance, Naruto getting into a defensive one. She took a deep breath before dashing forward.
Once the Suna genin was close, she shoved her hand forward. Naruto put up his left arm and as they made contact, it was blown away. Naruto's eyes widened in surprise seeing his arm get knocked back. Temari then started randomly throwing palm strikes, but Naruto was dodging them all.
Temari went for a palm strike to his chest, but Naruto blocked it with his right arm. The girl was caught off guard when nothing happened, which caused Naruto to retaliate. He shoved her hand away and slapped her chest with his palm. The girl recoiled back, but Naruto struck her two times in different spots. He kicked her stomach and made her stumble back. She grabbed her stomach and looked up at Naruto.
"No matter what surprises you, don't get caught off guard, it could cost you, ya know," Naruto informed the kunoichi with a wink.
"Right, sorry," Temari apologized.
"Don't feel sorry, you did pretty good. Let's move on to the next attribute real quick. We can return back to this one later," Naruto said as he walked up to Temari. The blonde kunoichi nodded and stood up straight. Naruto grabbed her arms and removed them before putting a hand to her stomach. He made the Ox → Tiger hand seals with one hand before pressing against her stomach. Temari could feel herself healing and was slightly surprised by this.
After Naruto was done, he retracted his hand and looked at Temari with a smile. The girl couldn't help but blush again. "T-Thanks, Naruto…"
"No problem, Temari," Naruto said. "Now let's move on to the fan combat."
Temari nodded as she grabbed her fan. Naruto pressed each of his pecs one time and they flowed blue. He grabbed two black rods with yellow and orange markings on them. Temari looked at them, a bit puzzled before she realized what they were.
"Those are tanbo, right?" The Suna kunoichi guessed.
Naruto smiled at her. "Yes, they are! Great guess, Tema!"
Her eyes widened and her blush deepened. "T-Tema…?"
"Oh! Sorry, it just came out," Naruto apologized with an awkward chuckle.
"O-Oh… uh, no, you can call me that… I don't mind…" Temari said as she looked away.
"Really? Alright, if you say so." Naruto spun his tanbo around before pointing them at Temari. "You ready?"
"You sure tanbo are gonna be a match against my fan?" Temari asked as she rested her fan on her shoulder.
"I'm confident," Naruto responded, smirking.
Temari smirked back. "If you say so!" She rushed Naruto and raised her fan high before swinging down. Naruto stopped the fan with his tanbo in an X formation, surprising Temari.
"Heh, told you!" Naruto said. He inched his hands down his tanbo until they were near the bottom. He then quickly spun them around and caught the fan in between them. Naruto jumped off the ground and flipped over the fan. He landed on top of Temari's weapon and went for a jab. Temari quickly reacted by swinging her fan up, making Naruto airborne. She planted her tanbo in the ground and jumped on it before jumping in the air.
She met Naruto in the air and went for a downward punch, but the whiskered blonde blocked it with the tanbo. He pushed the punch away and struck Temari down.
The Suna genin put a hand out and touched the ground. She quickly grabbed her fan with the other hand and twirled away. Naruto threw one of his tanbo at her and she blocked it, but he then teleported to it, catching her off guard. He threw one over her head and teleported to it.
Temari looked above her, but it was too late, Naruto threw both of his tanbo right behind her and teleported again. He grabbed her from behind and swept her legs. Temari accidentally dropped her fan as Naruto heaved her up, then threw her down. She landed on her back, and tried to roll out of the way, but Naruto sat on her waist. Temari struggled to move, but gave up seeing there was no point. She went for a palm strike, but Naruto grabbed her arm and faced it in a different direction.
"Nice try," Naruto said with a smile.
"Looks like you got me…" Temari noticed as she relaxed.
Naruto grinned before poking her cheek. "You did good. So it seems like you really only need to keep on practicing with your fan. Maybe switch it up and add some moves to make it more efficient. The only thing you really need to work on is the hand-to-hand. Once you get that situated, you can work on practicing more techniques without your fan, then you're good to go, ya know?"
Temari nodded as she stared into his eyes. A blush appeared on her face, but she didn't look away.
"What's got you blushing now, cutie Tema?" Naruto asked as he tilted his head, a knowing smirk on his face.
Temari's blush deepened and she looked away. "Nothing." She's really been blushing lately, and it was all because of this stupid blonde on top of her.
"Oh come on, you can tell me, I won't spill," Naruto said as he made a zipper motion over his mouth. She felt like he was telling the truth, and when he glanced at his eyes, he was. She didn't like that and it made her pout.
"You've made me blush a lot lately, and I don't know why… I haven't felt like this in awhile…" She confessed as she crossed her arms.
Naruto was slightly surprised to hear that. "Is it the compliments?"
"It's the compliments and you being flirty… I can't handle it, and also that cute nickname you gave me… I like it a lot…" Temari replied.
"I can stop if you want me to. I don't wanna make you uncomfortable, ya know," Naruto said as he put his hands up.
Temari shook her head. "No, it's fine. I actually… like hearing the compliments and flirty things… even if I start blushing and look away… it's just that this is new to me… and I just don't know how to properly respond to it…"
Naruto smiled as he remembered when Yugao would show him affection when he was younger. He didn't know how to respond and just blushed. "Heh, I know what you mean. You'll know how to respond, but it's gonna be my job to make you flustered. You are cute after all, not to mention hot as well."
Temari's face really heated up as her blush was deeper than it's ever been. "I'm h-h-h-hot…?"
Naruto nodded. "With that bold and dominant personality of yours, who wouldn't think you're hot? And the way you present yourself shows that too," Naruto responded. Temari didn't know how to respond.
"T-T-Thank y-you, N-Naruto," she stuttered. 'Damnit, why'd you have to say something like that?! I just told you I can't handle compliments then you go and say that?!'
Naruto snickered at Temari's reaction. "Seeing you flustered is adorable."
"S-Shut up! Y-You're just saying those things!" Temari accused as she looked away.
Naruto stopped snickering and looked at Temari with a soft smile. He grabbed her cheeks and made her look at him. "Temari, I meant every word I said."
The Suna genin stared into his eyes and he was telling the truth.
"I know it may seem like I'm teasing you just for the fun of it, and I am, but I mean the words that I say. You may not believe me, but-mmph?!"
Temari didn't want to hear anymore compliments and decided to just kiss him. If she heard anymore, she'd feint of embarrassment, so kissing him was the only option… in her head at least. Naruto went along with it and kissed her back. He opened up her mouth and touched his tongue with hers, receiving a tiny moan from the blonde kunoichi. He swirled his tongue with hers, and she did the same.
The feeling of Naruto's tongue was weird to Temari, but she slowly began liking it. Naruto explored her mouth and Temari tried to lock tongues with his every chance she got. The whiskered blonde had to give it to Kirai for kissing him. That woman showed him exactly what to do and it seemed to be working. Temari was melting below him in the kiss.
Naruto bit her lip and she moaned. He licked her lips before going back into her mouth but deeper, making her moan louder.
The kiss only lasted for a few minutes, but it felt like forever for them. Naruto pulled away, leaving a pouting Temari in disappointment and a string of saliva connecting their mouths.
"I didn't expect you to kiss me," Naruto spoke with a smile.
"I couldn't handle your words, ya know," Temari whispered.
"Guess I should do it more if I'm able to kiss you again," Naruto responded, causing Temari to giggle, blush still on her face.
"You always know what to say, I can't even find a good comeback," Temari stated.
"What can I say? Guess I'm just good with my words," Naruto said with a shrug. Temari nodded at that and the two blonde's stared into each other's eyes for a while.
"That was my first kiss, ya know…" Temari informed the whiskered blonde. "And I liked it a lot…"
"I'm glad you did. If you want, we can have more kisses like that in the future, Tema," Naruto offered as he rubbed her cheek.
"I'd like that," Temari accepted with a bright smile. "... does this mean that we're dating…?"
"Let's get to know each other more before we say anything, ya know? Don't wanna rush things, and things might change, ya never know," Naruto replied.
"I'm fine with that," Temari said. Naruto got off of his fellow blonde and helped her up. She smiled at him and went to grab her fan.
The two trained for a bit longer and Naruto helped Temari develop her taijutsu with her hands.
After they were done, the other Naruto and Kin arrived. Naruto greeted Naruto with a wave.
"How'd training go?" The Naruto with Temari asked Kin.
"It went really well and I got to learn a lot. Thanks for doing this Naruto," Kin responded with a bow.
Naruto chuckled. "It's no problem at all. Just doing what I can to help some friends."
"Friends?" Kin repeated the word.
"Yeah… friends… we're friends, ya know," Naruto said.
"O-Oh, y-yeah, we're friends!" Kin agreed with a head nod and a light blush.
"You okay?" Naruto asked the noirette.
"Y-Yes! Never better, ya know?!" She answered with an awkward chuckle.
Naruto looked at her before chuckling himself. "Since when did you become silly?"
"Well… relaxing doesn't hurt once in a while…" Kin answered as she looked to the side.
"That's true," Naruto agreed before getting out a smoke bomb. He threw it down and the smoke covered the two Narutos. The girls couldn't see anything but heard a poof.
The smoke suddenly blew away and revealed one Naruto. "Let's go, all that training got me hungry!"
"I could go for something to eat," Temari spoke. Kin nodded in agreement.
"Great, let's go then! You guys up for some ramen?" Naruto asked. The girls looked at each other before looking at Naruto and nodding. "Come on then!" He grabbed both of their hands and led them to Ichiraku Ramen.
Both girls blushed at Naruto holding their hands. It felt really warm. And a thought came to their mind at the same time.
'He's the one.'
