The car ride was quicker than I expected. Tamaki and I spent the entire time with our hands intertwined, but after a minute of silence and blushing, he had turned back toward me and asked all about the interview.

"A photo? Of me?" he asked when I told him about the ambush.

"Yes, I'm so sorry. It didn't have your face in it though, so hopefully, no one will talk to the press about you. I'd hate to cause any trouble for your family." He seemed to think very deeply about it for a minute.

"I guess the world isn't ready for my beauty yet." he told me seriously. I tried my best to keep a straight face, but my laughter escaped before I could control it. He really could be an idiot sometimes. But that's fine. I'll worry for the both of us.

"You're right, Tamaki! You're so right! You'd be swarmed day and night by photographers if the world knew about you!" I told him, trying to contain my laughter.

"That wouldn't be good. Then I wouldn't have any time for you!" he gently squeezed my hand as my laughter finally subsided to giggles.

"Master Tamaki," the driver spoke up, "We've arrived." I immediately turned to look out the window, trying to sneak a peek of the ocean as we pulled up to a gorgeous mansion. I was excited to be here, but I was also a little sad to finally have to let go of Tamaki's hand. We climbed out of the car and waved to Kyoya who was waiting by the front door. Before I could help unload the car, Tamaki had already loaded himself up with all of our bags — my school bag, his weekend bag, and an extra bag which I assumed had been packed for me.

"I can carry something!" I protested as we walked to the entrance. He just smiled down at me. I felt my heart skip a beat as the thought struck me that this is exactly what he'd be like as a husband. He'd make sure I would never want for anything… I mean. He'd make sure whoever he ends up with never wants for anything. I had to get these thoughts under control. There's no way he'd ever think of me like that.

"Welcome." Kyoya's voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Thank you so much for inviting us." I smiled at him, hoping he couldn't see the blush on my cheeks. I always felt like he could read my mind and I definitely didn't need him hearing my thoughts about our mutual friend.

"It's kind of hard not to when this guy shows up and says you're coming." He told me flatly, gesturing to the blonde.

"What do you mean!?" Tamaki started whining as we walked through the front door.

"I'm sorry to put you out like this, then." I said over the cries of my friend.

"It's fine," Kyoya replied, "The others and the girls will be here tomorrow. We made a nice profit on the Host Club beach getaway package." I couldn't help but giggle. He really was all about the bottom line.

"I told you I'd be good for your club!" I smiled brightly.

"Yes, well…" Kyoya seemed caught off guard by my frank joke. "Is there anywhere you'd like to order from for dinner? I apologize but the staff won't be here this weekend since everything was so last minute. They were able to leave some basics to snack on, but nothing substantial."

"Do you mind if I take a look? I might be able to cook us something?" I offered. Kyoya led me to the kitchen while Tamaki split off to put our bags in our rooms.

"He's been worried about you all day." Kyoya suddenly said.

"Really? I'm so sorry, I don't mean to make anyone worry." I replied.

"I wasn't worried. But he was very distracted when you left for your interview."

"I'll have to apologize to him. I hope I didn't cause any problems for you. I know how dramatic he can get."

"Don't apologize to him. Just try your best to be happy. He's his best when you're happy." Kyoya explained. A strange feeling shot through me. My stomach felt like it was trying to do a backflip while my heart sped up. He's his best when you're happy. The words repeated over and over in my mind as a smile tugged at my lips.

"Ok!" I replied, trying my best to not let this feeling overwhelm me.
