"Ready?" Glynda asked, as Ryan had his cocky smirk aimed right at Weiss, but the Schnee Dust Company Heiress just rolled her eyes at him.
"GO!" Miss Goodwitch Yelled, lowering her hand , signaling the start of the match.
As the match began, Ryan came straight at Weiss at Blinding Speed, as she did the same, meeting in the middle, clashing blades, creating sparks in between.
"Ngh, Not Bad, Weiss," Ryan snarkingly said to her, "But Like I always say, 'I'm Always Ten Steps ahead of everyone." As he took a big deep breath in through his mouth, and held it there for a bit.
"What?" Weiss asked, "Going to breath fire again?"
"Close, But... Not close enough," Ryan Replied, "SMOKESCREEN!" As Ryan letted out a huge cloud of smog, right from his mouth, that covered the whole SPARing arena in smoke, while at the same time, blinding Weiss, and letting Ryan disappear from her location.
"What The-!" Weiss shouted, confused by Ryan's strange ability. But unknown to her, The King Grimm Reaper was right outside the smoke cloud.
"Now I've Got You!" Ryan Shouted, as he ran around the cloud so fast, it created an updraft around Weiss, making sure she has no way out of her Trap. But like the clever woman she is, Weiss rotated her Myrtenaster's barrel to a vial of air dust, and blasted a stream of wind, right out of the tip of her Rapier, clearing the smog.
She looked around to see where Ryan was, but couldn't find him. That was until, "AGNI, RUDRA!" Weiss looked up to the ceiling and saw Ryan summon two swords (One in each hand.) Both swords possess the same design, being wide, curved blades resembling the classic fictional depiction of an Arabian scimitar or pirate cutlass. However, rather than being plain blades, they are comprised of a curved support to which a series of backward-pointed segments each with its own rear-sloping cutting edge are fixed, forming a vicious serrated design that is somewhat reminiscent of a spinal cord. They are colored for their respective element, orange like fire and turquoise like the wind, though on both the cutting edges of the blade segments are bare metal and the guard, grip and pommel gold. The heads are mounted in the ends of the pommels of the two swords, and the guards of both are round and plain. (Agni and Rudra).
Ryan charged down from above to get the upper hand on Weiss, but she blocked the swords with her Myrtenaster, trying hard to push back the two blades.
Ryan pushed hard, and eventually, made Weiss lose her blocking, as Ryan did many slashes and kicks towards Weiss, still trying to gain the upper hand.
Ryan Held up both blades in a cross formation in front of him and charged at Weiss, "CAROLINA!" He Yelled, as the orange blade was set ablaze with fire, and the turquoise blade began to create wind currents around it, "SLAAAAAAAAAASH!" Ryan swung both blades at the Ice Princess, but blocked the sword styled One for All attack with the blade of her Rapier.
"Tch, Saw me comin', Did'cha?" Ryan said in his cocky attitude, Snarkingly.
"Of Course I saw you," The White Haired Heiress replied, "Your fighting style is Very Sloppy, and in Really... Really in need of work."
"Really, Sloppy and In need of work?" Ryan snarkingly replied, "Well I only have one word for that... SHAZAM!" And out of nowhere, a bolt of lightning struck down, right on Ryan, and caused Weiss to get knocked down on her back.
And to everyone's surprise, Ryan's hair, Eyes, and Forearms became transparent with lightning. Ruby was so starstruck, she almost fell out of her seat. "THAT'S SO COOL!" She Yelled.
Ryan rolled his neck around, readying for the rest of the battle, "Time to kick this fight... INTO MAXIMUM HYPERDRIVE!" as he did the same stance that created the Kamehameha, creating a ball of energy between his hands, and fired it from his hands at Weiss, "HADOUKEN!" he shouted, as it hurled towards Weiss, but just in the nick of time, she dodged the attack by using her Semblance to create a trail of Propulsion glyphs.
Ryan continued to fire the Hadouken at Weiss, as she fired back many ice shards to counter the attacks, while at the same time, creating a cloud of white haze, blinding Ryan with whiteness.
"Taking a trick out of my book, huh?" Ryan said with his cocky attitude, "But sadly, I know where you are." As he waved his arms out in a cross motion, clearing the smog of white, revealing Weiss, Pointing her Myrtenaster at Ryan. "Here I come!" He said.
"I don't think so," Weiss replied, as Ryan began to run, but he couldn't move. He looked down at his feet to see a Black glyph under his feet.
"WHAT IN THE DEPTHS OF- I CAN'T MOVE!" Ryan shouted, struggling to get out of the glyph.
"Now to end this." Weiss said to Ryan, smiling to be assured a victory, as she used her Semblance again to summon multiple Ice Shard Glyphs, and fired them all at Ryan. Ryan looked up to see all the shard head towards Ryan.
"STRENGTH!" Ryan Yelled, as Mercury Strength was summoned to his aid, and shattered the Ice Shards with rapid fire punches.
"BADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADABADA! BOOM!" Mercury Strength War Cried, shattering the shards of Ice.
Surprised, Weiss saw the Ice Shards break, but she didn't see how they were shattered, "WHAT THE-?!" She said in shock.
"Oh Yeah," Ryan began, standing back up, and retreating Mercury Strength, "I have this thing called a Stand, which are physical entities generated by one's fighting spirit, and are powered by the users life force, and can only be seen by other stand users, and hurt by other Stands. Back home, almost everyone has one."
"Impressive," Weiss replied, "But... Not impressive enough. "As she created more Ice shard Glyphs, and fired them off at Ryan, who created a strange looking orange glyph from his hands.
"Oshtur, Grant me The Crimson Bands of Cyttorak!" Ryan Shouted, as multiple Crimson Red Bands spewed right out of the glyph, and ensnared Weiss' body tightly, causing the black glyph to disappear from under Ryan's feet, and Drain nearly half of Weiss' aura. "You're not the only one with magical glyphs," he said, in his cocky attitude, walking towards Weiss, "But I think we need to turn up the heat a notch, SHAZAM!" As another bolt of lightning struck Ryan, turning him back to normal, as he released The Crimson Bands of Cyttorak from Weiss, and pulled out a compact bow.
Out of the palm of his right hand, Ryan created a Dark blue arrow, made out of a strange crystal substance (Traptanium arrow From Skylanders Trap Team), knocked it on the bow, and pulled it back, twisting the string along with it. As it was being pulled, Ryan's left arm began to glow with blue lightning spiral, connecting to the arrow's tip. "Ryuū ga Waga Teki Wô Kurau!" Ryan Shouted, as he released the crystal Arrow, causing it to spin on release, being followed by two blue dragons made of pure energy, creating a lightning storm as the arrow trails.
Weiss used the remainder of her Air dust vial, by stabbing Myrtenaster into the ground, and creating an updraft that redirected the dragons to the ceiling, causing them to leave the arena. "I'm sorry," Weiss said in a cocky attitude, "But I'm just too good."
"Don't get too cocky." Ryan replied in his cocky attitude, as he placed his compound bow back in his bag, and picked up a small shard of Ice from the giant Ice shards, and took a bite out of it, causing the right half of his body to turn dark purple, with a white mark on the forearm, "Say Hello to Ice Devil Slayer Magic mode!"
As Ryan summoned a pair of demonic blue Ice skates that were set right on his feet, (Odette from the Bayonetta games, But I call them Swan Lake), and speed skated towards Weiss, leaving behind a trail of Ice with every stroke, Ice dancing with deadly attacks to continue to lower Weiss' Aura. Ryan placed the bottom of his clenched right fist in the palm of his hand, and created a blade of purple Ice. "ICE DEVIL, Zeroth Long sword!" Ryan skate charged at Weiss, clashing the Ice sword with the Ice Princesses' Blade.
"WHAT THE HECK, HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?" Weiss exclaimed, still blocking Ryan's attacks.
"It's called Ice Devil Slayer Magic," Ryan Replied, "An extention of Ice Make molding Magic, one of the many different studies I mastered from my various masters. I was trained by the best of the best."
"Did they tell you not to let your guard down?" Weiss said in a cocky attitude, as she kicked Ryan in the face, causing him to lose balance. Weiss used her semblance to create multple glyphs that can support her in the air, as well as more Ice Glyphs that were fired at Ryan. The King Grimm Reaper Looked on at the incoming Ice shards, and closed his eyes.
"KAMUI!" Ryan shouted, as he opened his eyes. They have taken shape of three stretched triangles evenly spaced around the pupil that each curve at the top around the eye to form a circle, making it similar to a pinwheel. (Ry-Obito style Ry Sharingan. See Chapter 9 for details). And just like that, Ryan vanished out of thin air, and reappeared behind Weiss, teleporting in and out at random from Kamui's dimension, confusing Weiss. "Try to catch me, 'Weiss Queen'!" Ryan said in his cocky attitude.
"QUIT CALLING ME THAT!" Weiss yelled at the top of her lungs, and WOAH-BOY... Was she pissed.
"Sorry, I don't take requests." Ryan replied in his cocky attitude, as Weiss continued to fire Ice shards, still trying to get a hit on him, while he pulled out Agni again, and sliced through the shards, causing them to melt.
Weiss headed to the ground, so she can get out of Ryan's way of teleporting. "So, she's doing it that way, huh?" Ryan said to himself, "Alright, Time for ground level." As Ryan teleported back Into Kamui's dimension, and teleported out back on ground level, exiting his Ice Devil Slayer Magic form.
"Now I have you!" Weiss yelled. Ryan turned around with Agni being held in both of his hands, looking dead on at Weiss, "Let's Finish this!" Weiss created a path of Glyphs that boosted her At Ryan at high Speed.
"You said it!" Ryan Replied, as he ran straight towards Weiss, Clashing blades one more time, Until one stood tall.
Weiss took a look at he Myrtenaster, and to her shock, the blade was cut clean in half. Looking at the blade, it was melted off, "WHAT!?" She exclaimed.
Ryan looked back at her, and placed Agni away in a flash of purple light, "Forgot to mention that Agni's blade can reach temperatures equivalent to a magma oven." he explained, as Weiss dropped her Myrtenaster on the stage floor, fell to her knees, and her eyes started to form tears.
"I... I... I... I... I forfeit." Weiss said, as her voice started to break, and breaked down in tears.
"Very Well Then," Miss Goodwitch replied, "Ryan Connell Wins by default."
Everyone in the arena went crazy after Ryan's default win, chanting his name, and clapping their hands. "That, Was, AWESOME!" Nora shouted from the crowd, "Even that cool Lightning Form, and the way he entered it, SHAZAM!"
"This was a very interesting battle," Ren added on, "Weiss had the advantage thanks to her use of glyphs."
"But, Ryan had training from different teachers, and had a more variable arsenal." Blake Continued.
"And in the end, T.K.G.R., TKOwned Weiss." Yang joked.
"And Ryan, Wins!" Ruby stated.
"Phew, Now that was a workout," Ryan said, stretching his arms and legs, and wiping off some sweat from his forehead, "I Needed That." Ryan then looked at Weiss, still on her knees, crying. Ryan began to walk over to her, and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Hey," He said, making Weiss look at him with tears in her eyes, "You did great out there." As Ryan extended his hand out, offering Weiss a hand up.
Instead of accepting the hand up, Weiss just got straight up, and Slapped Ryan across the face so hard, he fell down on one knee. everyone in the arena gasped at what Weiss did. "You... You... You... YOU STUPID JERK!" Weiss Shouted, as she ran out of the arena, with her hands covering her face, hiding the tears that were coming down from her face.
"WAIT... WEISS!" Ryan exclaimed, but... too late, Weiss was already gone, "Nnngh... God Damn'... That was one Depths of Hell of a good godamn' slap." As Ryan got up, he grabbed the broken parts of Weiss' Myrtenaster, regretting breaking it, "*sigh, Should've pulled out Nevan." He sighed.
Team RBY came over to check up on Ryan, "Are you okay, Ryan?" Ruby asked, Holding Ryan's Shoulder.
"Yeah... I'm fine," Ryan Replied, as he grabbed a toolbox out of his weapon's bag, grabbed both parts of the broken Myrtenaster, and stood up, "I'm gonna try and find Weiss, you three come find us when we're both somewhere around Beacon."
"Okay, Sounds like a plan." Ruby Replied.
Ryan Smiled and High fived Ruby. As he took off his Leather Jacket, wrapped it around the Broken Rapier, and walked out of the arena to try and find Weiss, and make amends to her.
"Well then, Class Dismissed." Glynda said, dismissing the students, "Oh... Mr. Connell, you forgot your-!"
"Leave'em." The King Grimm Reaper Replied. Team RBY looked at his weapons bag, and the Ichimonji, wondering why Ryan didn't take them with him.
"You two thinking what I'm Thinking?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah." Blake and Yang replied, as Ruby got Ryan's Sword, Blake grabbed his bags of clothes and activities, and Yang grabbed his weapons bag, and headed out of the arena.
