Painting…

Painting was something dear to Midoriya.

One of the few thing with his love for super heroes that got him through middle school.

Being qurikless wasn't easy in the slightest, everybody knows that, everybody think they knew that, but painting made it a bit more bearable for him.

His mom found him a teacher 3 months after his diagnosis, she wasn't sure why. Of course, like most kids Midoriya liked to draw and he wasn't half bad at it but still, she really had no idea why she paid for those courses in the beginning.

But now, now she would curse her past self if she hadn't done it. It took time but month after month and year after year the colors in Midoriya's face came back and his love for painting grew stronger. Inko Midoriya found her son to be incredibly talented ! Of course he was her son but still ! Incredibly talented he was.

With his dream of becoming a hero and the start of his school year at U.A he could make less and less room for painting but he was abandoning it either, it just took a back seat for a bit.

And with the opening of the dorms he finally got the time to pick is brushes and pencils back and with that came back the joy he had when creating.

His classmates started to notice a change, they weren't sure when exactly or why but Midoriya just seemed to get brighter. And it was true, Midoriya still wanted to be a hero, the number one hero but he realized that he couldn't do it if this dream was all that he had.

It was the beginning of their 2nd year, and now class 1-A became class 2-A. A lot had changed in only one year, it was almost an understatement for Midoriya, for everybody else really, the apparition of the League of Vilains, All Might fight with All for One along with Bakugo kidnapping really put a toll on the mood of Midoriya and his classmates.

So that's why, Midoriya decided to do something brave ! He was gonna show his friends one of his creation for the first time ! He had the perfect idea.

And that's how one morning, the students of class 2-A woke up to find, in the middle of the common area, in front of the TV, a canvas. And on this canvas was them, just them, dressed in casual clothing, all with a beautiful smile on their faces. Some where facing in front of them, other where talking and laughing with each other like Kaminari and Kirishima or Jiro, Asui, and Momo. The most important part, they were all there with each others. Midoriya was standing next to his piece, with a smile even bigger than the ones in the painting. Everybody had a different reaction, Ochako was jumping in excitement, praising Midoriya for his work, Todoroki was examining the painting more closely, a light in his eyes.

And Bakugo was smiling from a distance, not really knowing if he had the right to say a world but happy for Izuku.

Midoriya was happy too. Happy that after all this time, painting could still bring so much joy in his life.

THE END.
