Chapter 8- Dilemma
Although it pained him a lot, he had to do it. As he had decided, he had maintained an indifference towards Narcissa and Bellatrix. He couldn't escape them. They were always around, but he had stopped spending alone time with the two.
He helped Bellatrix as he promised, but after that, he would leave the Room of Requirements without a word. He didn't stop to speak one word more than required.
He had stopped referring to Narcissa by her nickname. He called her Narcissa much to her displeasure. He would not remain in their vicinity for one second if the others weren't there.
"Harry?" James stopped him as he was leaving the hall.
"What are you doing?" He questioned.
"They are hurting, Harry," James whispered as he observed Narcissa tear up slightly and Bellatrix seeming considerably down.
"Why are you being so adamant about ignoring them?" He questioned.
"I'll tell you one more time, James. " Harry turned back to his brother.
"Just shut up and stay out of this." He snapped and left the Great Hall.
James was surprised and a bit sad about his response. He was fine for all this time. What the hell was wrong with him?
James turned back to the two girls and shook his head sadly.
"I am sorry, girls." He whispered.
Bellatrix shook her head. "Did he say why he is doing this?" She asked. "To anyone at all?"
She received negative answers.
"What about you, Bones?" She asked the quiet girl.
"No. He didn't mention any such thing." She confirmed.
"Was it something we did?" She wondered to herself.
"But why?" Narcissa almost seemed to cry, but controlled herself.
"Why is he doing this? There should be a reason he is avoiding us. He has never avoided me in the past." She said.
"When he does not want to say something, nobody can make him talk," James replied.
"Something is going on in his head, though I don't know what." He said, his eyes wandering to the door through which he had walked out.
--&&&--
Harry raced out of the Great Hall. It pained him to do so, but he had no choice.
When he had arrived here, he would have laughed at the idea that the two would become important enough to make him do all this. It was sad, but he got to do this.
The farther they are from him, the better.
Harry was walking absentmindedly, but he came to a stop as he felt a magical presence behind him.
He knew instantly who the person was.
"Mr Potter?" Harry cursed under his breath.
"How can I help you, Headmaster?" He questioned with false politeness. Either Dumbledore didn't hear him or didn't mind it.
"I had a few questions, Mr Potter." He said.
"And what is it about?" He questioned the man.
"How do you know these things, Harry?" He questioned.
That was not the right thing to say.
Harry's gaze could kill a basilisk, as the greens glowed brightly.
"If I ever hear you address me by anything other than my last name or my title, you will certainly lose the last modicum of respect that you have among these walls after I am done with you." Harry spat, shaking with rage.
"And how do I know what? That you are indirectly a cause to a lot of things because you couldn't get your arse and fight early. That you knew what Tom was capable of and his lineage and his life and still didn't do anything about it. That you knew it was Tom that was responsible for the death of Myrtle?" He fired back.
Harry took a deep breath as he calmed down.
"Just keep your nose out of matters that don't concern you, Dumbledore. It would have been a noble intention if it's always good. But in your shortcomings, you forget the damage your meddling does to other people. Granted, people are not always perfect, but your interference causes lots of problems and life-damaging ones." Harry explained and left the corridor.
Dumbledore watched the boy go. The boy made him wary and a bit ashamed. He could never believe that the boy could insult him this way, but he spoke the truth if he thought about it.
He could now certainly not ignore the similarities between Tom and Harry Potter.
"So different yet the same." He whispered.
He needed to keep an eye on the boy. He would do so.
--&&&--
The following days had become extremely stressful and tension-filled to the group.
Harry was cranky and was always in a furious state. His friends tried to speak, but Harry would snap at them and an angry Harry was not a good thing.
Bellatrix and Narcissa had not uttered more than two sentences to him. He had started to avoid them at all costs.
Nobody escaped his temper. Not even James or Sirius. They were confused as were a little hurt at his behavior.
Harry had not been seen with them. They didn't even know which compartment he was in.
"I am worried about him," Andromeda said, eliciting nods from the others.
"He is always grumpy and angry. He was never like that. Why is he behaving like this?" She questioned, but she knew very well that nobody in the compartment knew the answer.
The door opened and admitted a very sad Narcissa and Bellatrix.
"We looked everywhere." She said and sat down.
"Maybe mum and dad can rub some sense into him. They will surely find out what is wrong with him." James assured the group confidently.
It was a very somber journey for the next three hours. The Express pulled up at King's Cross. The students rushed to meet their parents, and there were a lot of happy reunions taking place. The firsties especially as most would be a bit homesick coming to Hogwarts the first time.
"Tell him to write to me, will you?" Amelia said as she walked away to where her brother was waiting for her. James nodded.
The group of Potters and Blacks then quickly made their way to the secluded path where they knew their families were waiting. Peter and Remus left the group, telling them to write about Harry.
The two Potter parents and another woman stood talking to each other. The woman was Druella Black. Mother of the Black sisters. And in a nutshell, the woman was very similar to Narcissa. Blonde hair, blue-eyed beauty.
She smiled as she welcomed her daughters, but the smile quickly turned into a frown. There was a sense of worry that she instantly caught onto.
"What's wrong dear?" She asked her youngest daughter for an explanation.
Narcissa didn't reply, still searching for the green-eyed young man.
She then turned to her eldest.
"Are you going to speak to me?" She asked.
"It's about Harry," Bellatrix whispered. "He has been acting weird, lately. He has started avoiding every one of us. He snaps at everyone and his temper keeps flaring out again and again. He has started ignoring me too." She whispered painfully.
She continued telling the elders about everything that happened when a silver stag appeared in front of them.
"I couldn't find you. I'll see you all at home." The stag whispered before disappearing away.
"And he can conjure a bloody patronus and it can talk," Charlus whispered with a proud grin.
"But what is going on through that head of his?" Dorea questioned.
Andromeda snorted.
"Believe me. You can find the footsteps of a fish but you can never guess what goes on in his head." She replied and that was one point that nobody could refuse.
Dorea put a hand on Narcissa's shoulders.
"I will find out what is wrong with him." The Lady Potter assured her niece.
"You will be at Potter Manor for Christmas, won't you?" She questioned Druella.
The woman nodded.
"We will be." She assured before leaving with her daughters and Regulus in tow.
--&&&&--
Narcissa dropped down in a heap on the couch in her living room.
"Narcissa." Her father who was seated at the side greeted the girl.
The girl didn't bother with the greeting as she watched her eldest sister walk in with Andi in tow.
"You." Narcissa snarled as she poked her sister.
"You are the reason why he started behaving like that." She said.
"You just had to go and kiss him didn't you?" She spat.
Bellatrix reddened in anger.
"Just what do you mean by that, you tramp," Bellatrix questioned heatedly.
"I want him as well. Is it so difficult for you to understand that?" She questioned heatedly.
"All my school years, I had been alone, Narcissa. I didn't want anything before. But I like him. I like him a lot." Bellatrix said.
"And you can try all you want. I won't stop liking him, Cissy." Bellatrix replied heatedly.
"Oh now you want to get away from being a stuck up bitch in the school and you want to do so using the boy who I am in love with as your means?" She said and Bellatrix's anger rose at that.
"Watch who you are speaking to Narcissa Black. You will not take that tone with me." She warned as both the girls flicked their wands into their hands.
Druella Black was fed up with this. With a wave, she had the two disarmed.
The girls quelled under the stern gaze of their mother.
"I will not have the two of you behaving like street urchins in my house. And you Narcissa Black, if I ever hear you call your sister such a derogatory term, I will have you grounded in this house for the rest of your life, do I make myself clear, young lady?" Her youngest shrunk under her mother's lashing and nodded meekly.
"And you." She rounded on her eldest.
"If you ever draw your wand on your sister, you will never use a wand in your life. I will make sure of that." She warned.
"Whatever the mess you've gotten into can be solved by sitting and talking like responsible humans. And this certainly is not the way for young ladies like you to behave. Especially with the name you carry." She chastised her two daughters.
"Now I want the three of you to get back to your rooms. And you better leave your wands on the table. You won't be having them for the week. Not until New Year at the least." She said in a no nonsense tone.
The three left to their rooms, still glaring at one another. Narcissa and Bellatrix, at each other and Andromeda, at the two of them responsible for all this nonsense.
Druella let out a huge sigh of relief as she sat down on the couch. She felt the eyes of someone on her and sure enough, her husband was staring at her with awe and desire.
She blushed under the emotion that she could see in her husband's eyes.
"What?" She questioned.
"You were brilliant." He admired her.
"And extremely, endearing." He said as he stood up and pulled her behind him, making his way to the privacy of their room along with Druella who was still embarrassed and aroused at what was going through her husband's mind.
--&&&--
"What is this that I am hearing from Bella, Harry?" Dorea questioned her son as soon as she entered the house.
Harry sighed. He knew this was coming.
"Mum...I…." Dorea interrupted him.
"Do you have any sense of what you are trying to do? Do you know how hurt everyone is?" She questioned.
Harry couldn't refute that point. He had no choice. But how is he going to explain this to her?
"I…." He didn't know what to say. They would not understand.
He didn't speak a word and turned away and rushed away from the hall towards his room.
Dorea was surprised by his behavior.
"Harry?" She called him, but he was already running away.
Charles held her back. "Dor. Let me go and talk to him." He reassured his worrying wife and followed his son back to his room.
He knocked on the door and heard a sniff.
"Come in." Harry didn't bother looking up from what seemed like an album.
Charlus quietly sat down next to Harry.
He observed that he was looking at a young couple waltzing on their wedding day. The young man was familiar and he instantly knew that Harry was looking at a picture of James and his mother. That Lily girl.
"They were so young when I lost them." He whispered.
"I don't say this out aloud, but I always feel like I am the main reason for them dying." He whispered.
"If it wasn't not for me, I doubt that Voldemort would have come there that day." He spoke sadly.
Charlus, whatever it was, wasn't expecting this. He was horrified at what he was hearing.
"I hear her, you know. That beautiful voice of hers. Begging for my life. Begging to take her own. Begging to let me live." He said, his eyes gaining a faraway look.
"He asks her to step aside." He said. "I knew at that very moment that it was for me he had come," Harry said as he pulled his knees to his chest.
"That scares me. I can fight him. I can lay down my life if it's the last thing I do. But it's the others I am worried and scared for. I know all of you are capable." Harry explained. "But I still feel scared."
Charles placed a hand on the young man.
"And you have every right to be scared, Harry." He assured.
"If I had lived through half of what you have lived through, I would have gone insane. But you. You push on. You fight on. That is what makes you so special. That is what everyone in our family likes about you. You are grounded. You are still kind after every dirt that you have been through." He explained.
"But you cannot stop us or keep us away from this fight, Harry. He will come for our family either way. And you think that we would not fight back, no son." He said.
"And you think that you are the reason or the catalyst for the death of your parents, that is a load of hippogriff shit." He snorted.
"I would have done the same thing without hesitation if it would have saved my son and wife. Every loving husband and father would do the same thing.
And you thinking that you are the reason for their death, it's smearing mud on your parents death. Insulting the very memory and ideology of all their struggles to keep you safe. You don't want to do that, do you?" He received a shake of head in answer.
"Good. This is our fight as much as it's yours, Harry. Say what you want and behave however you want, but that will not stop us from doing so." He replied calmly.
Harry hesitated with his words. He had no reply for that.
"But...he will surely get them. He will get back against me by using them. Bellatrix and Narcissa are in Slytherin. His recruiting ground. We already know the number of his lackeys in there. They are already in threat with their association with me. He will surely try something if I stay closer to them." Harry explained.
Charlus shook his head and chuckled.
"They are Blacks, Harry. They are the most stubborn lot of people you will ever meet in your life. Dorea was the same. They are the same. If they have decided that you will be a part of their lives, you can dance all you want, but you can't derail them from their tracks." He explained.
"Besides, it is them that has to decide what the hell they would do with their lives. We aren't Malfoys or Lestranges are we?" He questioned the boy.
"Now I want you to go down there, and apologize for your behavior lately. They would be relieved to know that you are alright." Charles explained.
"I made the same mistake of ignoring the woman I loved, thinking exactly like you, son. It's a stroke of luck that I got back my sense when I did. I certainly would have come to regret my choices if it wasn't for her." He said and Harry nodded.
He slowly walked back to the sitting room and came across a worried Dorea pacing around the room. She placed her hands on her hips and narrowed her eyes as he stood in front of her.
"I am sorry." He whispered.
"I am sorry for walking away like that. I am sorry for being snappy and cold towards the others. I am sorry for all the trouble that I caused." He apologized.
"I was worried and my thoughts were muddled up and I had no idea what I was thinking or doing. I was confused. Dad helped me walk through it." Harry said.
"I hope you can forgive me, guys." Harry turned to his brother and Sirius.
The two boys smiled before patting him on his back and as they stood next to him.
Harry turned back to his mother.
"I am sorry mum. This won't happen again." He promised.
Dorea smiled and gathered the boy in a hug. "Don't you ever close yourself off, do you understand?" She warned.
"We are your family, Harry. We have the right to know what we do or want to do. Yes, we might not like it sometimes, but that doesn't mean that you can bundle it up in yourself and wallow in grief or pain." She explained.
"Now go on and get changed." She ordered and the boys left chuckling, not before placing a kiss each on her cheek.
"I hope you cleared everything with him?" She asked her husband.
"He was confused, Dor. Everything from the past caught up with him. He was utterly confused and scared. He thought that by pushing the others away, he would keep them safe. That was what he was trying to do. Especially the girls. He understood that he was almost about to reciprocate their advances and he closed himself off." Charlus explained.
"Did you make it clear that we Black women will have our way no matter what he tries?" She questioned with a smirk on her face.
Charlus laughed. "That was exactly the first thing I told him." He smiled.
Dorea grinned and slowly pressed her lips to his cheeks.
"You know me too well, husband." She whispered huskily in his ear.
"And just for that, you will get a reward later." Charlus grinned goofily. He knew exactly what reward his beautiful wife was speaking about and he shuddered in anticipation.
--&&&&--
Harry shuffled nervously in his room. He was worried. Today was Christmas though that was not the reason for his worry.
No. Bellatrix and Narcissa will be arriving in a few minutes and he has no idea what he must say or do.
He felt guilty. He ignored them, pushed them away when all they wanted was him to get closer to them.
"You are going to wear down the floor if you keep this up, Harry," James spoke from the chair that he had sat in.
Harry glared at the boy. "Just shut up." He grumbled.
"Come on. How difficult can it be?" James asked. "You just apologize and explain what you were trying to do. They will understand. If we could understand," he said pointing to himself and Sirius who was nodding off in his chair.
"They certainly will understand as well." He assured.
Harry nodded, though he didn't look very convinced. Matty popped into the room.
"The Blacks are here, Master Harry." He squeaked and popped away.
"Come on. Any more of this and you will tear out the ground." James smacked Sirius on his head causing him to almost fall.
"What the hell were you doing all night?" He asked the Black heir.
Sirius didn't bother replying, just content in glaring holes into the back of the Potter heir's head.
The three boys walked into the sitting room and Harry's eyes immediately fell upon Narcissa and Bellatrix. He was stunned. He never knew that woman could be that beautiful. They seemed inhumanely beautiful. Almost ethereal.
Bellatrix and her purple robes and Narcissa with her dark blue robes, complimenting their eyes. Harry couldn't help but almost drool over their appearance. He shook his head.
'What is happening to me?' He mentally chastised himself, not noticing the smirks of Bellatrix and Narcissa.
"I seriously don't understand why the hell you complain so much. Just look at them. I don't know how the hell you manage to hold yourself back." James grinned.
"If I had these two pining over me, I would have conquered every broom cupboard in Hogwarts by now."
Harry punched him in the side, causing him to wheeze as he felt the blow.
"Okay. Shutting up now." He grimaced.
The two girls smiled at Harry. Harry wasn't sure what he gave back. It was surely somewhere between a smile and a grimace.
"Lord Black. Lady Black." He greeted the two elders of the Black family.
"Harry. This is my eldest, Orion and his wife Walburga. And this is my youngest, Cygnus and his wife Druella." Harry nodded to the others in greeting.
Druella stepped forward and gathered both his hands in hers. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr Potter. I have heard a great deal about you from the girls." She smiled and Harry reciprocated the action.
"You as well, Mrs Black," Harry replied.
"I suppose it's you whom I should be thanking for the help all those days back?" She questions.
Harry shook his head briskly. "No, Mrs Black. I was doing my duty. No thanks are necessary for that." He spoke confidently.
She smiled at Harry and dragged him to the dining table along with the others following. She sat down and pulled him onto the seat next to her.
Dinner went on with idle conversations and talks about mundane topics. All the while Harry sat quietly, answering only when questioned and never spoke a word more.
He was trying hard to ignore the two pairs of eyes burning holes into his head. He knew that the two were watching.
Harry calmly finished eating before standing up. The table became quiet, anticipating his words.
"Bellatrix, Narcissa. Can I speak to the two of you?" He asked and he received two nods in return.
The two girls quietly walked behind him to the sitting room.
Harry sat down and gestured for the two to sit down.
He remained quiet for sometime, not speaking anything.
"I am sorry." He apologized. "I have been right prat and I apologize for that." He said.
"It was against my better judgment and I was in a certain amount of confusion and denial in my head. I am sorry." He said.
"I wanted to get that away from the board." He whispered. They were about to speak and he interrupted.
"Listen to me, please." He begged and the girls nodded.
"You have put me in a very difficult position, girls." He whispered.
"You might think that I am a fool in this matter, but don't think that I am not able to place what you two are doing." He said and the girls stiffened slightly.
Harry chuckled softly.
"You would be right in assuming that I am hopeless in these matters and it is the same for many boys, but I am not that dense to fail to notice all the signs." He explained.
"To be frank. I am very lucky. For sixteen years of my life, I have never seen someone as beautiful and brilliant as you two. And I have seen Veelas." He pointed out.
"But we can't." He said, causing the girl's smile to falter.
"Why?" Narcissa was the first to question him.
"What do you expect me to do, Cissa?" He questioned.
"How can I ever choose between you and Bellatrix?" He asked.
"I can never choose between you two. It's impossible." He added.
"You are asking me to choose between both of my eyes. How can I choose one eye over the other?" He asked rhetorically
"You two deserve someone else." He said.
"Someone who you can love, not fight over me." He added. "Someone who doesn't have a target painted on them. Someone who won't bring destruction with them." He finished.
"I don't want to be the reason for the two of you to fight." He said.
"I don't want you two to choose me over your relationship." He explained.
"It won't be a problem. You two are the most wonderful girls I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Smart, intelligent, powerful and gods are you two beautiful.
You will be having men behind you with a snap of your fingers." He said and he clutched his fist tightly.
For some reason, any other man with them didn't seem okay to him.
"I hope I am still your friend. After all the headache and trouble I have put you through, I don't think I would complain if you decide otherwise." He said and he smiled as he kissed the two on their cheeks and left the sitting room.
Bellatrix and Narcissa watched the subject of their affection walk out of the room. The two looked at each other. They then grinned at each other.
"He said the same words that we had thought he would say." Narcissus grinned.
Bellatrix had a wild gleam in her eyes as she remembered the discussion they had previously.
FLASHBACK
"Are the two of you done acting like uncivilized creatures?" Druella questioned her daughters.
Narcissa and Bellatrix nodded though they still glared at each other.
"Good. I would hate to see you behave that way. Now tell me what are you going to do about this?" She asked.
"I won't stop pursuing him. At the same time, I won't let her take him." Narcissa said, shooting a glare at her older sister.
"Ditto." Bellatrix glared back.
Druella sighed. "For Merlin's sake, stop acting like a bunch of old women. It's time you behave maturely." She chastised.
"And who told anything about letting him go. I am asking you to share." She pointed out and the girls almost fell over in shock.
"Mother!?" Narcissa blurted out, surprised and embarrassed at what she seemed to be speaking.
"Oh, don't be so prudish, Narcissa. You and I both know that there are many instances when a wizard has taken multiple witches in marriage." Druella was amused by her daughter's reaction. Her eldest was gaping at her as if the very idea was ridiculous.
"She is right." The girls turned around and watched as Dorea walked in.
"If the both of you are unwilling to let him go. You must be content in sharing him. That is the only solution to your problem." She explained.
"Is the issue resolved?" Druella questioned the older woman.
"Charlus spoke to him this afternoon. He was meddled up, the poor boy." Dorea smiled sadly.
"Is he alright?" Bellatrix questioned her aunt. She received a positive nod in return.
"From what little Charlus has explained, he will likely apologize to the two of you and will probably say that he would not be able to choose between the two. My gut agrees with that strongly." She said.
FLASHBACK ENDS
The two girls heard the others walking back to the sitting room.
Her mother looked expectantly at the two.
"So?" She questioned.
"He said the same thing," Narcissa answered, eliciting a chuckle from her sisters, aunt and mother.
"What are you going to do next?" Andromeda questioned.
Bellatrix and Narcissa looked at one another and smirked.
"We will seduce him," Bellatrix whispered, causing the males to choke on their breath and cough violently.
"What?" Cygnus Black croaked and he almost looked like fainting.
"He won't have an option when we are done with him," Narcissa added.
James and Sirius looked at one another before turning to Charlus.
"He has no idea what is coming, does he?" The elder man could only shake his head dumbly.
"Those girls are going to bend him to their will. I know what the Black women are capable of, first hand." Charlus grimaced at that.
"Good luck, Harry. You will need it." He whispered.
--&&&--
They had retired to the living room, lost in small talks. Harry had not yet returned.
Walburga and Orion had left a while ago.
Tippy suddenly popped into the living room, and garnered everyone's attention.
"Master Charlus, Lord Lestrange is here to meet you." She said.
"Lestrange? What is he doing here today?" Arcturus looked towards his friend
"You didn't invite the man here, did you?" He questioned.
Charlus frowned as he shook his head.
"Send him in, Tippy." The elf bowed before disappearing with a pop.
Two minutes later, the Lestrange lord walked into their sitting room.
"Lord Potter. Lord Black. It's a good thing I found the two of you together." He smiled.
"This is a private family affair, Lestrange. Please do not waste our time. What do you want?" Charlus questioned the man?
"Of course. I would hate to interfere in a family affair. But duty calls." He shrugged.
"I have come here with a generous preposition, my Lords." He said.
The two older men raised their eyebrows questioningly.
He pulled out a missive from his robes and handed the letter to the old Lords.
"We have come together and formed an organization to preserve the way of our lives. And this is an invitation to that elite group." He explained.
Charlus received the letter and without glancing at it, threw it into the fireplace.
"No thank you." He said to the now gaping man. Arcturus nodded along.
"I can safely say that he speaks for me as well." Arcturus nodded.
Lestrange then glared at the two men.
"You don't know what you are doing." He hissed.
"You are making a very dangerous enemy." He continued.
Charlus was furious.
"That almost seemed like a threat, Lestrange. You dare come into my house and threaten me here?" He raged as he stood up, power crackling around the man.
Lestrange took a few steps back. "You don't know what you are doing. He will destroy your entire family within seconds. You are painting a huge target on yourself." He growled in anger.
He was about to turn when he crashed into someone. He turned back and he was now staring into an emerald fire. He gulped as he recognised the Potter boy. His body shivering in fright.
Harry calmly stared back at the man. He was burning with anger and fury at the way he dared to speak to his father.
"You have something to say, Lestrange?" Harry questioned the man.
"No." He answered very quickly.
Harry hummed. "So, he sent us an invitation, did he?" Another nod.
"Poor Tommy boy. So deluded and childish." Harry mocked, causing the other man to frown.
"Leave Lestrange. It's your luck that it's Christmas today. I am giving you a gift. Make sure to share it with your master." He said and placed a missive in the man's hand.
"Oh. And merry Christmas." He said and hit the man with a cruciatus.
Lestrange collapsed to the ground, screaming and gasping in pain. Uncontrollable pain.
"This is for threatening my father in my presence." Harry spat.
"Make sure to tell Tommy boy that we aren't like any others that you have dealt with until now. We have no habit of keeping debts. We pay them back, with interest. And trust me, our payments will be very interesting." Harry smiled before throwing the man out of their house with a wave of his hand.
Harry looked back to the others who were watching his reaction.
He let out a deep sigh.
"And so, it begins." He whispered though it was heard clearly by all.
--&&&&&--
"Come Randolph. I hope you have good news." He questioned. It was then that he fully observed the man. He was pale and shivering and his teeth were jittering continuously.
"What is the matter, Randolph?" He asked with a faux concerned voice.
Tom hated acting like this. Any and every source of emotions were disgusting to him. He would tend to avoid them all the time, but sadly, he knew that he needed it.
Randolph then explained everything to the Dark Lord, who listened to everything with rapt attention.
He frowned. He knew that the Potters would be difficult to recruit, but he expected the Blacks to join him. Their reputation had all but ensured that he was right in thinking so.
That had failed too. Add to the fact that the marriage idea was snubbed, he understood that he lost a valuable ally.
He observed the Lestrange scowl.
"What is it?" He questioned.
"Who is Tommy?" He questioned and collapsed on the ground screaming in fear and pain.
"Where did you hear that name?" He snarled at the struggling man.
"Potter….The Potter boy." He gasped.
"What?" He questioned.
"The Potter boy. He kept mentioning the name." He said and shakily held out the missive that he had brought.
Tom snatched the letter and opened it.
Fuck you, Tom Marvolo Riddle.
From, Harry James Potter.
Tom was silent for some time and roared in anger. The death eaters rushed out of the room in fear.
"I will kill you, Potter." Was the last thing they heard, followed by another shout of anger.
