The UNSC had hope to keep the threat of the covenant secret for as long as possible from the public. Unfortunately the situation that took place on I-Moon had forced them to admit that humanity was at war with Aliens.
The aftermath of the event had its own complications. For starters the effort of keeping the Spartan II Program under wraps. As ONI sector III weren't prepared to let that secret out. Luckily it was easy to pass the Spartans as Black Op Special Forces for a division in ONI.
The following issue was the casualties. Explaining from both the UNSC and HPSC how Professionals Heroes, Scientists and civilians lost their lives to religious fanatic aliens.
However the covenant themselves were fuming over the situation. This was the biggest blow the humans had given since they began to cleanse the universe of humanity. And there were no survivors to carry the blame and take the punishment to suffer the wrath of the prophets.
This didn't stop the war from waging on. Izuku and the rest of the Spartans didn't get a moment to mourn the lose of Sam. As soon as they were debriefed on the I- Moon mission they were quickly redeployed to another human world that was being invaded by the covenant.
And so that's how Izuku found himself walking through the dark empty halls of Corbulo Academy on Circinius IV alone. He's objective was to recover any survivors. So another rescue mission. Due to the suddenness of the attack on the academy UNSC Resources were limited and so the Spartans were spread thin across the planet to assist in the engagement against the covenant.
Thus Izuku was working this one solo until he teamed back up with Blue Team at the extraction point. Corbulo is an Academy built to teach the children of High Ranking UNSC personal for careers across the UNSC itself.
So it was natural theyed send a Spartan to get them out.
As Izuku saw the familiar shimmering of a camouflaged elite move into what appeared to be a weapons locker he didn't waste time in pursing the alien warrior. As he turned the corner he found the elite revealing himself to some cadets huddling together that the alien had cornered.
The beast began chuckling as he tightened his grip on the energy sword. Izuku narrowed his eyes as he gripped his combat knife and used his stealth to sneak up behind the elite.
Before the alien could even begin to swing his sword at the defenceless humans Izuku jammed his boot into the back of the Elites knees making it buckle backwards. He then quickly followed up by thrusting his knife deep into the aliens throat and jerking it back towards him slicing causing purple blood to spitting across the room.
Izuku looked down at the alien then turned to see cadets look at him in a mixture of horror and awe. He sheathed his knife and stepped towards them scanning them for injuries. Fortunately none of them had come to harm. Although the same couldn't be said about the other cadets and military personnel he'd come across so far.
"We don't have much time... Let's go." Said Izuku as he shouldered his rifle then turned to lead the cadets out. Whilst the battle of Circinus IV was taking place the rest of the human colonies were about to confirm the rumours they heard were true. The Human Covenant War is very real.

FLEETCOM, Sydney, Australia. Planet Earth.
The Press and media gathered around the front of the UNSC building waiting patiently for a press release about the rumours of a war with an unknown enemy.
On the inside however. The principal of UA. Nezu stood beside Kengen who is President of the Hero Public Safety Commission before the Brass of FLEETCOM.
Amongst the panel was Admiral Lord Terrance Hood who sat in the center with other members. One of them being the head of ONI Admiral Parangosky.
Despite his positive and upbeat nature. Nezu couldn't help but feel uneased being in the room. He was the principal of the top hero school in all the colonies. What would the military want with him?
"I'm sure the two of you are aware of the I-Moon incident?" Spoke one of the brass members.
"Considering my students and one of my teachers was involved then yes I am aware." Answered Nezu
Kengen then followed up with her own answer "I've read the reports from the surviving heroes. But that doesn't explain why you wish to speak with us today."
Parangosky leaned forward eyeing the two off "We are at War with a species that wants the human race wiped out. We've tried fighting them with modern military tactics and attempt to keep it secret but are failing. By the end of the day all humanity will know this."
"The covenant has superior technology and fighting capabilities but we have something they don't." Spoke a many wearing an Army uniform unlike the others who wore a navy one.
Kengen raised a brow "Which is?"
"Quirks" answered Lord Hood "The covenant don't seem to have the abilities that we do. As you both know the use of quirks is strictly prohibited amongst the colonies in order to keep the peace with exception of pro heros keeping that peace."
"And so it has been prohibited for military and police to use their quirks. Until now." Added Parangosky
"Meaning you want to allow the use of quirks in combat to fight this alien covenant?" Wondered Nezu out loud.
The army uniformed man nodded "Yes. Not only that but HPSC will now be under the authority of the military. Pro Heros will now follow the UNSC chain of command."
Kengen eyes widened and was about to protest this but Hood cut her off before she could speak "I understand your concerns but the heros will take priority of rescue operations to evacuate colonies that are being invaded while actual military personnel take on the real fight."
"I understand this line of thinking but I fail to see how this involves me." Voiced Nezu
Parangosky was the one to answer the mouse bear dog or whatever the hell he is question. "Your quirk makes you a valuable asset for planning and tactical analysis against the enemy. We would like you to be amongst FLEETCOM as we manage this crisis."
"And what of my students?" He countered
"They'll have the choice to remain in the heroics course. But that'll also require them to be thrown into boot camp like any other civilian joining the Marnie Corp. This is a new age of heroes that is necessary for our survival." Spoke Lord Hood with a some regret in his words that it has come to this.
Nezu looked down and processed what he has learned. This wasn't what he'd planned to do when he took on the role to shepherd in the next line of heroes. But unfortunately these are desperate times. And desperate times call for desperate measures. "Very Well."

"...Humanity must stand together if we are to survive. And so I ask anyone who wishes to volunteer to face this threat please step forward to do so"
The tv shut off at the press of a button as a young man with light blue hair glared at its screen in annoyance "who do they think they're fooling. As if theres some alien threat out there trying to destroy us."
He slumped back into his chair tossing the remote onto a nearby coffee table. "They're just feeding lies to everyone so the UNSC can continue on commiting there crimes. And now they got the stupid heroes under their thumb... it really... is pissing me off"
Out of habit the young man began scratching at his neck in irritation. "If Kurogiri wasn't a fool and got himself captured I'd get him to send me to that darn conference and turn them all into dust!"
"Calm Down Tomura. I'll have you know that a little bird has told me that this Alien Covenant is real." Spoke a voice from the shadows.
Tomura glanced over his shoulder at the figure "Really?" He asked lowly and curiously.
"Indeed. Infact... I believe this Human Covenant war may prove to be useful towards your goals"
"Is that so? Then what do suggest I should do... Master?" Asked Tomura as he twirled a glass in his hand before drinking it.
"I believe we should attempt to contact the Covenant. And show them they share the same goals as you."

UCMB SierraLargo, Planet Earth.
Since the announcement of war against the covenant UA was never the same for the students in class 1A. Infact one would argue they weren't the same after what happened at I-Moon.
Some couldn't handle the pressure of what the future may hold if they stayed on the career path and choose to leave despite the others trying to convince to stay.
Some stayed and we're determined to complete their education and new military training if it meant saving innocently lives being slaughtered like lambs.
Then there were those who were impatient and were itching to go take the fight the covenant on the front lines. And so those individuals left the hero course to go straight into Unified Combined Military Boot Camp to be part of the UNSC Armed Forces. Especially now that quirks were approved to be used in combat.
Among those who decide to take up the fight for humanity were Bakugo which didn't surprise anyone who was followed by Kirishima, Sato and surprisingly Kendo and Uraraka were also among them to join boot camp.
However when they joined they didn't remain together and were split apart. And so that's How Ochako Uraraka found her self standing at attention with other cadets with a drill Sargent eyeing each of them down.
"As you all can see there has been an influx of volunteers into my beloved Corp. You all joined up to piss on the ashes of our alien enemies correct?" Shouted the Sargent.
"Sir yes sir!" Responded Uraraka and the other cadets
The Sargent smiled devilishly "That's excellent to hear. But first I need to know your names and what you all did before joining up."
The cadets then began to answer him "Logan, Pine tree harvester"
"Jacobson, electrician"
"Sanchez, Nurse"
"Himiko, Red Cross donations"
"Dubbo, Heavy weight champion of North Queensland Australia. Breaker of wild Bullocks of the Gilbert River. And breaker of women's hearts everywhere."
The Sargent eyed off Cadet Dubbo "Anything else?"
Dubbo shrugged "Oh well I've been known to tell lies."
"Shut up Dubbo." Responses the Sargent as he stepped up to Uraraka to continue introductions.
"Uraraka. Hero Course Student"
The drill Sargents eyes narrowed at the ex hero student "A hero course student. Well I'm gonna teach you something early Cadet. You may not become a big fancy hero with a shiny office and merchandise like you may have invisioned when you were still working out the best method to pick your nose."
The drill Sargent grinned "I'm gonna make a different kind of hero. A better one built for the battlefield."
Uraraka simply nodded "Yes Sir."
(A/N: I decided against doing a time skip as there are somethings I'd like to take place first as I'm changing my original plan on certain characters. But I still hope you all enjoy.
Anyways. PLUS ULTRA!!)
