A/N: Inspired from various multiple multi-crossover fanfics, MMD/GMOD videos and images, Starbomb music videos and fanmade comics.
It was a nice evening in PC Kingdom, we then head a location called -MMD- Koi Suru VOC LOID Stage which is currently holding an event and is attended by a large number of characters.
Amongst the characters attending the event are the Player Character, Luigi, Honoka, Marie Rose, Bowser, Kamek, Ganondorf Dragmire, Hikari, Nick, Pit, Lucina, Farah Oersted, Jimmy Hopkins, Nathan Drake, Sly Cooper, Raphael, Phantom Thief Chloe, Blinx the Time Sweeper, Bubsy the Bobcat, Lloyd Irving, Colette Brunel, Tony Hawk, Bea, Marshmello, Big the Cat, Asuka, Katsuragi, Hibari, Ayame, Helena Douglas, Tina Armstrong, Lisa Hamilton, Bass Armstrong, Wario, Waluigi, Larry Lovage, Needles Kane, Scarlet, Chase, Strider Hiryu, Hotsuma, Taki, John Price, Samus Aran, Wayne Holden, Ajna, The Heavy, Andy Bogard and Guile.
On stage, we see Rufus wearing a black tuxedo jacket over a white collared shirt and red bowtie, black slacks and brown shoes, he is currently the host of the event.
"Welcome back everyone to the 31st Annual Gamesphere Legacy Awards and looks like we're near the end of this show, and I'm sure you're all excited for the final event.'' he stated with a smile.
Oh, so the event is ending already? What a bummer!
Rufus glared at the author of this fic before turning back to the audience, "Anyway... it's now time for the final event of the night!" he beckoned, "It's time to announce this year's Top 10 Video Game Characters!" he announced with everyone cheering loudly, "And lets all hope the list isn't the same like the past two years.'' he grumbled in annoyance, causing everyone to burst out laughing.
"I got a feeling that the list will the same like last year.'' PC thought out loud.
"Geez... I-a-hope not.'' Luigi muttered in concern.
Then a Koopa-like creature riding on a cloud flew towards Rufus. The Koopa-like creature had small head, circular noses and wears a thick goggles. It has a ring pattern on their shells and three small strands of hair on their head. The cloud it's riding fluffy cloud with a face. This is a Lakitu.
The Lakitu then handed Rufus a letter, "Thank you.'' Rufus said in gratitude before the Lakitu left stage. Rufus then opens the letter, "Now then... shall we begin!" he beckoned before reading the letter, he then let's out a whistle, "Well what do you know! Some changes.'' he mused, "The number ten spot goes to Pikachu!" he announced with everyone cheering in response.
Then a small, chubby rodent-like creature climbs on stage. It is covered in yellow fur with two horizontal brown stripes on its back. It has a small mouth, long, pointed ears with black tips, brown eyes, and the two red circles on its cheeks contain pouches for electricity storage. It has short forearms with five fingers on each paw, and its feet each have three toes. At the base of its lightning bolt-shaped tail is a patch of brown fur. This is Pikachu.
A Lakitu then handed Pikachu a golden-colored, game controller-shaped trophy, the Lakitu then adjusted the mic stand for Pikachu as the Pokemon spoke, "Pi-Pi-Pi-Pika! Pika-Pika! Pi-Pika! Pika-Pika-Pi! Pika-Pika! Pi-Pika!" it stated before raising the trophy up high, "Pika-Pika-Pika! Pika-Pika! Pi-Pika! Pika-Pi!" it declared in gratitude with everyone cheering response.
And with that Pikachu made its way off stage with Rufus watching it go, he then turns to the audience, "Lets pretend that we understood everything it just said on the mic.'' he beckoned with everyone bursting into laughter.
"What? Am I the only who understood what Pikachu just said?'' Bubsy questioned in disbelief.
Rufus then spoke, "Anyway... lets us continue.'' he beckoned before looking at the letter and then smiling, "The number 9 spot belong to the only video game villain in this list.'' he said, "Well... we could have two of them but Ganondorf got stuck in 12th place.'' he pointed out with Ganondorf snapping his fingers in disappointment, "Anyway... the number nine spot goes to Bowser!" he announced with everyone cheering in response.
Bowser stood up from his seat while waving his hands in gratitude, he then trudges his way towards the stage with a Lakitu handing him a trophy. Bowser accepted the trophy before getting in front of the mic stand, "Thank you very much, I'm very thrilled to be the only video game villain in this list and I do hope the fans will continue to support me in future Mario games.'' he said in gratitude, "I'd also like to dedicate this award to my children and everyone from the Koopa Kingdom! That's all!" he added with everyone cheering in response.
"Yippee! That's my a dad!" a young Koopa cheered from the audience.
The young Koopa has a yellow skin tone, he has a light green head with small horns on each side, each being circled with orange rings, small circular eyes that are black in color and lack sclera and irises. His hair being tied up into a top-ponytail. His mouth is wide, puffy, and con-vexed with a large snout having one, fang-like tooth in the upper left corner. He has sharp claws on his fingers and toes and a rounded, four-ribbed plated belly, as well as chubby, white-padded feet. His shell is green, lined with a white encasing, and the multiple, short spikes are circled with orange rings. This is Bowser Jr.
As Bowser got off stage, Rufus looks at the letter, "Anyway... the number eight spot goes to a woman considered to be the 'Queen of the Video Games'.'' he begun, "The number nine spot goes to Miss Lara Croft.'' he announced, "And if you're wondering which Lara Croft, I'm talking about... she's from the 2013 reboot.'' he clarified with everyone cheering in response.
Then a young woman got on stage. The woman has an attractive appearance, she has elegant facial features, a light peach skin complexion and deep brown eyes. She has thick, dark brown hair which is tied up in a pony tail. She has a slender and toned physique and stands roughly 5'6" tall. She wears a gray top, dark-brown cargo pants with various straps and holsters wrapped around her thighs, dark-brown laced boots and black fingerless gloves. This is 2013's Lara Croft.
A Lakitu then handed a trophy to Lara which she accepted before turning over to the mic stand, "Thank you very much.'' she said in gratitude, "Sorry for my rugged appearance, I just came back from a recent expedition.'' she explained in apology, "Anyway, thank you very much for the award, I appreciate everyone's support ever since my debut back in 2013." she stated in gratitude, "I still don't know if my last game will get sequel but if it does, I hope you all look forward for it.'' she said, "Anyway, thank you once again, love you very much.'' she finished before getting off stage while everyone cheered in response.
Rufus then got back on the mic stand, "Okay! Time to announce who got the seventh spot.'' he beckoned before looking at the letter, "The number seven spot goes to Geralt of Rivia!" he announced with everyone cheering in response.
Then a man stood up from the audience. The man is tall with a muscular physique, he has a pale skin tone, a milk-white shoulder-length hair and has amber-colored eyes, he sports a milk-white facial hair and has a scar on right forehead which goes down his right eye. He wears four sets of chain-mailed shoulder pads with brown straps around his upper chest over a black chest plate and a gray muscle shirt with scales & a brown corset wrapped around his midsection, numerous belts wrapped around his waist, black tight pants, black armored boots and black gloves. This is Geralt of Rivia.
Geralt then made his way the stage where he is greeted by a Lakitu whom handed him a trophy which he accepted. He then got in front of the mic stand, "I'd like to thank the fans for getting me in this spot.'' he said in gratitude, "I know my last game was back in 2015 and I'm aware that I've been out of the spotlight lately.'' he admitted, "Granted... there's a Netflix show about my game but that doesn't count.'' he pointed out, "Anyway, I appreciate the fans that has been supporting me and I understood that you're wondering when is my next game gonna come out. To be honest, I don't know if I'll be in another game but hopefully... once CD Projekt Red is done with Cyberpunk 2077, they'll start another game on the Witcher franchise.'' he stated with a smile, "Once again, I thank the fans for getting me in this spot and I hope for you continued support.'' he said in gratitude before getting off stage while everyone cheered in response.
Rufus then got back on the mic stand, "I am also hoping for a Witcher 4 in the future.'' he confessed with a few nodding in agreement, "Welp! Let's move on!" he beckoned before looking at the letter, "The number six spot belong to the second woman of this top 10 and it's none other than Miss Samus Aran!" he announced with everyone cheering in response.
Samus stood from her seat, waves a hand to the crowd before making her way towards the stage. On stage, a Lakitu whom handed her a trophy which she accepted. She then got in front of the mic stand, "Wow!" she muttered in awe, "I'm in the sixth position again for the sixth time in a row.'' she joked causing everyone to laugh, "Jokes aside, I'd like to thank each and every fans I had ever since my game started back in 1986.'' she said in gratitude, "This award... this is not just for me but it's also for every fans I had and I can't thanked them enough for their support, I love you all!" she declared before getting off stage while everyone cheered in response.
Rufus then got back on stage with a box of french fries in hand, he quickly hid it behind his back with a sheepish grin, "Anyway... five spots are left and which character got the lucky number 5 spot!" he mused before looking at the letter, "Gonna go fast! It's Sonic the Hedgehog!" he announced with everyone cheering in response.
Suddenly, a blue blur made it's way towards the stage and upon stopping, the blue blur reveals it true form which is a male anthropomorphic hedgehog. He has blue fur that covers most of his body, peach skin that covers his arms, muzzle and front torso, and emerald-green eyes. He has six long quills on the back of his head, two spines protruding from his back behind his shoulders, and a short tail. He wears two light-weight, hyper friction resistant red sneakers with white cuffs around the ankles, gray soles, and white straps across the top, the last of which are held down by a golden buckle on each foot. He also wears a pair of white gloves with sock-like cuffs on his hands. This is Sonic the Hedgehog.
A Lakitu then handed Sonic a trophy which he accepted before standing in front of the mic stand, "Thank you, thank you!" he said in gratitude, "I know I'm awesome and everyone knows that but you got to admit that it's still a surprise that I managed to stay on this spot for quite some time.'' he stated, "Actually... list because I was on the seventh spot last year.'' he corrected, "Anyway, I'm glad that I still had fans even though most of my recent games were generally criticized for many reasons but I'm happy that I still had devoted fans whom supported and I'm really grateful for that.'' he said with a smile, "Anyway, this award is dedicated to my fans and I hope you look forward for my next games.'' he declared before getting off stage by running off in a blue blur while everyone cheered in response.
Rufus then got back on stage on a skateboard before standing in front of the mic stand, "All right! Time to announce the character who got the number four spot.'' he beckoned before looking at the letter, he smiled before looking around, "Snake? Snake? SNAAAAAAAAKE!" he yelled, "Solid Snake, you got the number four spot!" he announced with everyone cheering in response.
Then everyone saw a cardboard box crawling around the stage, the box is then tipped over which reveals a man underneath it. The man has a tall stature and a muscular frame. He has a brown messy hair, dark-brown facial hair and blue eyes. He wears a blue long-sleeved muscle shirt and blue pants. He wears various straps with pouches and holsters around his chest, midsections and thighs, black elbow pads and black gloves, grayish metal knee pads and black boots. He wears a black bandanna around his forehead. This is Solid Snake.
A Lakitu then handed Snake a trophy which he accepted before standing in front of the mic stand, "I'd like to thank each and every one of my fans for getting me in this spot.'' he said in gratitude, "I know my last appearance is back in Guns of the Patriots, so I'm surprised that I'm still this popular.'' he admitted, "Then again, I'm appeared in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, so I guess that explains it.'' he said, "Once again, I thank my fan for keeping me relevant all this time, I hope... if I ever appear in a new Metal Gear game, prequel or otherwise, I hope for all you support, thank you very much.'' he finished before getting off stage while everyone cheered in response.
Rufus stood up from the cardboard box he is sitting before making his way back to the mic stand, "Whoo! Looks like were down with the top three! Who gut the number three spot?!" he cheered before looking at the letter, his eyes widen in fear before gulping, "It's... it's the Ghost of Sparta, Kratos.'' he squeaked with everyone cheering in response.
Then a man stood up from the audience. The man is tall with a very muscular physique, he has an ashen white skin, a balding head and brown full beard, and has green eyes. He has a red tattoo going from his head to his left eye and on his left arm, he wears a brown shoulder pads with brown fur strapped across his right shoulder and to the left side of his chest, he wears a leather loincloth over brown pants and brown knee pads, black boots, a cloth wrapped around his right arm and a tattered fingerless glove on his left arm. This is Kratos.
Kratos then got on stage with a Lakitu handing him a trophy which he accepted before standing in front of the mic stand, "I'd like to thank all my fans who got me on this spot for the third time in a row.'' he said in gratitude with a few people chuckling ins response, "I dedicate this award to my wife Faye and my son, Atreus.'' he declared, "They were with me when I made my return to the gaming scene.'' he said with a smile, "Once again, I thank all of my fans and I hope they look forward for my next game, God of War: Ragnarok, thank you very much.'' he finished in gratitude before getting off stage while everyone cheered in response.
Rufus then got back on stage and stood in front of the mic stand, "All right! We're down to two! And without further ado, let's see who got the number two spot.'' he beckoned before looking at the letter, "Mamma-mia! It's the King of Video Games, it's-a-Mario!" he announced with everyone cheering in response.
Then a man sitting next to Luigi stood up from his seat. The man has a stocky build, with dark-brown hair and mustache, a round nose and has blue eyes. He wears a blue overalls over a red long-sleeve shirt, white gloves, brown shoes and a red cap. This is Mario.
Luigi then shook hands with Mario, "Congratulations, bro!" he commended.
"Thank you, bro.'' Mario replied in gratitude.
And with that, Mario made his way on stage with a Lakitu handing him a trophy which he accepted before standing in front of the mic stand, "Mamma-Mia! I am-a-honored to be-a-once again part of this year's-a-top ten and I'd like to-a-thank each and every-a-fans that I-a-have for all of their-a-support! I'd also like to-a-thank my-a-friends from the-a-Mushroom Kingdom, Princess Peach, my-a-brother Luigi and Bowser for being with me for all this-a-years because without-a-them, I-a-wouldn't be here, I-a-love you all and thank you-a-very much!" he stated in gratitude before getting off stage while everyone cheered in response.
"Oh yeah! Bro!" Luigi cheered.
Rufus then merrily got back on stage and then standing in front of the mic stand with a big smile on his face, "And now... the moment you're all been waiting for... time to announce the number one character this year!" he prompted before looking at the letter, "The number one spot goes to Link of Legend of Zelda!" he declared, "And if you had no idea whom I'm talking to... it's Link from Breath of the Wild!" he clarified with everyone cheering in response.
Then a young man stood up from the audience. The young man has a small yet lean build, he has a messy blonde hair, he has blue eyes and pointy ears. He wears a blue tunic with white runic-lings over a white long-sleeved shirt, white trousers, brown boots and brown gloves. This Link from Breath of the Wild.
Link then got on stage with a Lakitu handing him a trophy which he accepted before standing in front of the mic stand, "Wow!" he breathed out in awe, "I'm really honored to be this year's number one video game character and I like to thank all of my fans that supported me when I first arrived back in 2017 and I really hope that you look forward for next Zelda games whether or not, I will be in it or another Link takes my place.'' he stated in gratitude, "I may have taken the number one spot this year but this award extends to each and every Links before me because Breath of the Wild wouldn't happened if it weren't for them, so I thanked them as well for this award!" he declared in gratitude before getting off stage while everyone cheered in response.
Rufus then got back on stage with a microphone in hand, "And that's it folk! Congratulations to this year's top then video game characters!" he commended, "And that concludes this year's 31st Annual Gamesphere Legacy Awards!" he declared, "I hope you all have a good night and we'll see you all next time!" he exclaimed in excitement with everyone cheering in response as the show ended.
