Quinn shut her eyes resigned to her fate. Than.. Nothing.

Nothing happened. The blonde squinted her eyes open fearfully than opened them completely but nothing was there.

She trembled as she stood up on wobbly legs, her breathing erratic and her heart hammering. She stared ahead of her afraid to move.

Licking her dry lips and taking a shuddering breath she stepped forward but froze when a voice spoke out.

"Don't be afraid." It was a girls voice.

"H-Hello?" Quinn spoke, her vocal cords shook uncontrollably. "I-Is someone th-there?"

The blonde whipped around when she thought she heard a sound behind her.

"People will come looking for me!" The blonde called out fearfully. "Y-You don't want-"

"I don't want anything." The voice replied. "It is you that wants something.."

The blonde was confused. "I don't know what your talking about b-but if I don't get home they'll-"

"Where is home? It seems you feel like you don't have one." The voice spoke as if it just knew exactly what the blonde was feeling.

Quinn swallowed thickly. "I-I don't know what your talking about."

"Your lying." The voice echoed.

Quinn felt anger and fear course through her body.

Does she feel like she has a home? Of course not but who hell does this girl think she is?!

She doesn't know her but she's too scared to say it out loud.

"Who are you?" Quinn asked. "Where are you hiding?"

"If I come out, will you promise not to run?"

Quinn debated whether she could actually honestly stay put.

She was already freaking out that there was a lion stalking around the junkyard and now some random girl was being creepy, probably playing a prank on her.

She wasn't sure what she'd do but her curiosity won out.

"Yes, I promise.."

It was silent for a moment before several foot falls were heard.

Slowly, out of the shadows the lion walked towards her and the blonde gasped as she took a step back. The lion noticed.

"You promised you wouldn't run." The girls voice rung out and Quinn's eyes widened because she's pretty sure the lion wasn't the one talking.

It's lips hadn't moved but it was walking towards her calmly with a purpose and Quinn wondered if this was a dream and she had passed out in the abandon car.

"Stay calm. I promise I won't hurt you." The voice rung out again but this time Quinn realized it wasn't a sound ringing out in the junkyard but in her mind.

"W-What-How-What's happening?" Quinn flustered out.

The lion walked up to her circling the blonde in curiosity.

"What's happening? Is a question for a later time. The question you want to ask is how can you hear and see me?" The voice spoke as if this wasn't a new thing.

"I.. I don't understand."

"You released me." The lion replied. The sound entering the blonde's mind as if it had entered her ears.

"Released you? Released you from what?"

"You released me from my slumber. I have been waiting and now that you have.. You are my new master." The lion finished stopping it's circling to sit in front of the blonde regally calm.

"Master? What are you talking about?"

"I am what you mortals refer to as a genie, if you will. Except not in the context you believe." The lion answered and Quinn was sure she had some how fell and knocked herself out because this couldn't be real.

"A genie?" The blonde ask and the lion nodded. It fucking nodded. The blonde burst into laughter.

"What is so amusing?" The lion asked with a slight tinge of annoyance in her tone.

"Oh my god! Ok, now I know I'm dreaming. This is a dream. I fell and hit my head and this is a dream." Quinn spoke as if it were the most logical thing. "Oh man, I really thought you were a real lion about to eat me." The blonde giggled.

"Ew, do not be disgusting." The lion replied grossed out.

The blonde stopped giggling and stared at the lion curiously as it almost sounded like some one she knew.

Now that she was calm. She realized the voice sounded extremely familiar. She just couldn't pinpoint it.

"Yes? What are you gawking at?!" The lion spoke again with an air of superiority and annoyance. Quinn's eyes widened as that tone definitely sounded familiar. She knew that tone but still couldn't place it.

"N-Nothing.. It's just you sound like some one I know."

"Yes, well good for you, shall we get on with this." The lion replied with disinterest.

"Get on with what?" The blonde asked in confusion.

"What you desire." The lion replied as if it were obvious.

"Desire? I don't understand."

"And here I thought you might be a holder of high intelligence."

"Hey!"

"I'll try to explain this slowly, okay? So, pay attention."

"I'm not an idiot!" The blonde argued back indignantly.

"Could have fooled me."

"Watch it!"

"Or what?" The lion retorted.

Quinn shut her mouth as she realized not only was she arguing with a lion in the middle of a junkyard but also that-Hellooo!-it was a fucking lion, what could she do.

"Whatever, this is stupid. Clearly I'm dreaming, so I'll be heading home now and hopefully that will be the end of this batshit crazy dream. Than I'll wake up and you'll be a distant memory." The blonde said with a smile as she turned on her heel and began walking away.

"Where do you think you're going?!" The lion called out.

"Far away from you." Quinn said with a shake of her head..

"This isn't over!"

"Oh yes it is!"

The blonde continued on her way dismissively leaving a dumbfounded, gob smacked, disbelieving lion in her wake. This had never happened to the lion before.

Quinn walked all the way home completely convinced that it was all a dream and wasn't worried about how late it was.

Or how dangerous it was for her to be heavily pregnant walking the streets of Lima at that hour.

The blonde reached the Puckerman's and upon entering was immediately bombarded by Puck's mother with her yelling about coming in so late.

She walked down to the basement, changed her clothes and crawled into bed feeling the heaviness of sleep already taking her.

"Just a dream." She sighed to herself as she drifted off to sleep.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE- The blonde's hand slammed down onto the alarm as she groaned, feeling achy all over.

Her feet were swollen and her back cracked uncomfortably as she sat up in a daze.

Rubbing her eyes to rid the sleep fog clouding her brain than hissed in pain as she pulled her hand back looking down at her swollen hands, especially that gash that now had dry caked up blood on it.

"I told you-"

"AAAAHHHHHH!" Quinn screamed jumping out her skin at the voice that appeared out of no where.

There sitting with a flicking tail was the lion from her dream.

"Jeez, do you always scream this much or do you like the sound of your own voice screeching, that you just have to." The lion's voice rung out in her mind crystal clear and dripping with sarcastic annoyance.

Quinn stared wide eyed with the sheets clutched to her chest breathing heavily.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! No! This can't be happening! Th-This isn't real!" Quinn spoke in a panic shutting her eyes and shaking her head. Hoping beyond anything the lion would disappear when she opened them once more.

"It is real. Now stop wasting my time and let's get this over with!"

"No, this is a dream or-or I'm dead!" The blonde's eyes widened at the thought. "Oh my god! Am I dead?!" Quinn screeched once more and the Lion's eyes winced at the volume.

"Will you calm down! Your not dead!"

"This isn't happening!"

"Oh for the love of-will you get it together, already! Clearly I'm here in front of you! So, no, your not dreaming or dead! So, please stop screeching!"

"I do not screech! That's Berry's annoying habit, not mine!"

"What the hell are you-Why are we talking about fruit?! You know what?! Never mind, I don't want to know. Get up and let's go."

"I'm not going any where with you!"

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me!"

"I'm afraid you don't have a choice, sweetheart. Now, I've been nice and patient enough. Either you come with me now or I could just make you." The lion spoke as it stared Quinn down. The blonde huffed.

"Yeah, you and what army?" Quinn retorted.

Before anything else could be said the basement door was opened and a half asleep stumbling Puck came down.

Quinn's eyes widened in surprise as Puck stood there calmly as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

"Hey, so I'm not going to school today. I've got the worst hang over so you gotta find another ride to school."

Quinn stared for a moment in shock. "Are you serious?"

Puck sighed tiredly. Not in the mood to deal with another one of Quinn's mood swings. "Look, come on. Don't start, it's too earlier in the morning for you to yell."

The lion hummed outwardly in thought. "Ooo.. I understand now. This is a common occurrence. You're a yeller."

"Shut up!" Quinn spoke sending a glare at the lion.

"Chill, alright. I'll just text Santana I'm sure-" Puck started, thinking she was talking to him.

"Shut up! I'm not talking to you!" Quinn growled at the boy.

"What?" Puck asked confused.

"I was talking to the lion you clearly don't have a problem with being here."

Silence followed for a second as Puck's eyes bulged from their sockets. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"The lion sitting in front of my bed! What do you mean what am I talking about?!"

"Q, are you feeling ok?"

"Damn it, Puck! Will you stop acting like an idiot and help me get it out of here!"

"First of all, I'm not an 'It' I'm a 'She' so-"

"I wasn't talking to you, was I? So mind your own damn business!" Quinn shot back at the lion.

"Oooh, the claws come out." The lion drawled out antagonistically with sarcasm.

"What are you 7?!" Quinn fired back.

"300 actually but you shouldn't worry about me at the moment." The lion spoke sending a head nod in the direction of Puck.

"Uh.. Q?" Puck called out nervously worried.

Quinn whipped back in his direction. "What?!"

The lion made a click sound as a human would with their tongue. "Oh that's right, silly me. I'm terribly sorry. " The Lion said sounding anything but apologetic as she chuckled. "I should have mentioned earlier that no one else can see or hear me but you." She finished with laughter in her tone.

Quinn's face paled. Puck was staring at her like she had officially lost her mind.

Her head drew back to the spot where the lion was currently sitting than back to Puck than back to the lion than back to Puck.

The blonde buried her face in her hands and groaned in frustration. "You couldn't have mentioned that before."

"Mentioned what?" Puck asked.

"Well, if you had listened to me to begin with. I could have explained everything but clearly you have an issue with that so, no, I couldn't have." The lion replied.

The blonde sent a glare at the lion before turning her eyes to Puck. "Nothing Puck, Just go."

"Are you sure your ok? Because I could call ma. She's a nurs-"

"Just go, Puck!" The blonde yelled and the boy tripped over himself to get up the stairs as far away from the psychotic blonde as fast as he could.

The room fell silent. The blonde looked at the lion with disapproval in her eyes. "You suck, you know that."

"Eh, so I've been told. Now, hurry up and meet me outside." The lion said before vanishing before the blonde's eyes.
