Quinn stood at her locker putting her books away. It was now lunch period and she was starving.

She had left with the lion that morning and didn't get to grab the packed lunch Mrs. Puckerman would make them.

Granted it was the same disgusting sandwich meat that the baby could not stand, that made her puke her guts out though she was pass her first trimester but she at least enjoyed the apple and cup of pudding. She sighed to herself.

"So this is school, huh?" Lucy spoke up.

Quinn startled slightly but not noticeably. She grit her teeth and shut her eyes for a second before whispering from the corner of her mouth. "What the hell are you doing here?!"

"Eh, I got bored. Now that you've released me. I can't go back into the car until you get your desires. So I figured I come and check out what this school thing is all about."

"Great.." The blonde huffed. "Just what I need, another annoying person to fill my day. Could this day get any worse." The blonde grumbled as she slammed her locker shut than spun around to walk away but halted in her steps, gasping on impact as the ice cold of a cherry slushie slapped her in the face.

Lucy's jaw dropped in shock. The lion felt an indescribable anger engulf her than it began mixing with embarrassment and lightly doused with sadness.

Laughter broke out in the hallway. Quinn's eyes were screwed shut. Her emotions stirred and her eyes began to well with tears.

"You looked a little thirsty, Fabray. Thought I'd help you out."

Whoever it was, their laughter could be heard down the hall as he left. Quinn lifted her hands and wiped the slushie from her eyes.

The hallway began to empty until it was just her and Lucy. The blonde kneeled down the best she could to gather her soiled books.

"Are you o-" Lucy began.

"I'm fine." The blonde gritted out but you could hear the emotion she was trying to hide.

"Are you su-"

"I said I'm fine." Quinn growled than stormed off.

Lucy sighed as she watched her go. She knew Quinn was lying because she and Quinn were now linked.

Once you release the genie you become one with each other. That's how your desires are granted.

Every emotion you feel, the genie feels. You can speak telepathically. Any physical pain you experience the genie experiences.

It's why Lucy's at the school to begin with. She hadn't explained everything to Quinn yet. She's learned her lesson from well over the first 200 hundred masters she's had.

The seven rules she gave aren't all the rules but she wanted to make sure Quinn wasn't an evil person.

She can feel that she isn't but just like her former masters. They were genuine until they learned how much power they actually had and were consumed by it.

If you have the genie in your possession and you use the genie for selfish impure reason's than you shall face death. That's what happened to her former master.

He used the power of genie to kill and so the laws of magic equaled it. By having the power of genie, her former master had a advantage over the man he killed. So in turn his life was taken as well.

Now Lucy knows better than to tell everything at once. If Quinn proves to be worthy of the knowledge and power than the genie will give it but until then she'll wait it out.

Which brings her to now. She was content to lay about and sleep in the car but she had felt Quinn's mood the moment she burst into tears during her walk to school.

Lucy became emotional in the car as well and the amount of sorrow and anguish she felt Quinn having caused an ache so great in her she couldn't move.

It was paralyzing. All Lucy could do is moan and whimper in anguished pain from all the turmoil the blonde was feeling. Lucy had never experienced actual turmoil until that very moment.

After the bout of emotions eventually dulled out into a gentle sadness just beneath the surface of a calm feeling.

Than she felt Quinn's hunger growing. It grew so severe it was becoming painful as well. So Lucy came straight here to take care of Quinn like she's suppose to.

It's part of the rules but Quinn didn't need to know that. So Lucy passed it off as she being bored.

Lucy stood still and focused on Quinn's feelings at the moment. She didn't go after the blonde because she felt how desperately Quinn wanted to be alone.

Now she felt Quinn's mood and though it wasn't better the blonde didn't want to be alone anymore. She could feel Quinn's desire to be held and comforted.

Lucy took that as her cue and teleported herself to Quinn. The lion's eyes opened when she heard a sniffle.

She looked around and found herself in a large room with bright lights. There were rows and rows of seats lined up to the back. Lucy stepped forward and looked out across the stage.

"What is this place?" Lucy asked startling Quinn.

The blonde wiped her tears quickly. "What are you doing here?" Quinn asked acting as if she wasn't just crying.

Lucy knew she was in an auditorium but she wanted to break the ice with Quinn casually. "I was bored and you left me in the a hallway with nothing to do. So I figured I come and bother you some more."

"Great."

"Don't sound so pleased."

Silenced engulfed them for a moment before Quinn spoke. "An auditorium."

"What?"

"It's an auditorium."

The lion nodded than yawned as she stretched before walking to the edge of the stage where Quinn was sat.

Sitting beside the blonde, being sure to allow the barest of touch to graze the blonde's arm to give off comfort.

"So, why are you here?" Lucy asked.

"It's lunch period. I don't have class now."

"Than why aren't you eating?"

"I forgot my lunch."

"I see. What do you want to eat?"

"What?"

"If you could eat something now, what would you eat?"

"Why?"

"Must you be difficult?"

"Why are you asking?"

"Just tell me."

"You tell me."

"For peets sake! Are you always like this?! Just answer the question!"

"Not if your going to use that tone with me!"

Lucy lifted her head to the ceiling and shut her eyes in frustration. "Some one just shoot me! Please.. Just shoot me." She whispered in utter broken despair.

"Gladly!" Quinn growled low.

"Quinn?"

The blonde's head snapped to the auditorium door and her eyes widened in surprised embarrassment. Rachel was stood in the aisle staring at her with concern in her eyes.

Lucy felt Quinn's emotions shift. It went from surprise, embarrassment, worry, awe struck, some form of excitement? Admiration, yearning before they settled on irritation and annoyance.

WOW.

"What do you want?" Quinn asked not in the mood.

"Um.. I don't want anything." Rachel replied calmly once she noticed the glare Quinn was sending her way.

Rachel had come in and heard the blonde's voice. Like Quinn was arguing with someone else but the only person sitting there was Quinn. She could have been on a phone call. Rachel wasn't sure.

"Than what are you doing here?" Quinn asked with irritation.

"I always eat lunch here. I don't know if you recall, but I'm currently not welcomed at the glee table because of my relationship with Jesse."

Quinn rolled her eyes. Lucy felt Quinn's emotions calm and a sliver of remorse for the short brunette as well as jealousy? Lucy could only associate the blonde with one word right now.

CRAZY.

"Yeah, well, that's your own fault. He's clearly a spy." Quinn replied with disinterest.

Rachel rolled her own eyes as well. "I'm not going to go down that path with you, Quinn."

"Why? Because I'm right?"

"No, because I came here to eat lunch peacefully and your making it difficult and need I remind you that you, yourself was once a spy for Ms. Sylvester. So please with your hypocritical argument."

"Whatever."

Rachel sighed than walked to the seats since Quinn was on the stage. She sat down and began unpacking her lunch.

Lucy felt it instantly as soon as Quinn smelled it. The blonde and lion salivated at the smell wafting from the brunette's seat in the second row.

Rachel lifted her sandwich to take a bite when the blonde's stomach growled aggressively.

Rachel, Lucy and Quinn's eyes widened all at the same time. Quinn's face flushed in embarrassment as she fought with her big belly to stand up.

"Quinn." Rachel called but Quinn rushed to the stairs in her embarrassed hurry.

Rachel scrambled to put her food down and raced to the door, reaching it before Quinn could.

"Get out of my way." Quinn growled.

"Quinn, calm down."

"No. Get out of my way."

"When was the last time you've eaten?" Rachel asked with the most sincerity Quinn had ever seen in them. It pissed her off.

But Lucy felt more than anger swirling within the blonde. There was also the emotion of wanting to surrender and cry. Yearning to taste the food that smelled so delicious but the anger was over powering it.

"None of your damn business."

"Quinn, I understand I'm the last person you'd like to speak to but I have more than enough food to shar-"

Quinn huffed and spun on her heel. Storming toward the opposite exit.

"Quinn! Quinn, please! Wait a second! I didn't mean to offend you!" Rachel called out following her but Quinn reached the opposite exit before she could reach her.

Rachel sighed as she watched the door slam behind the blonde. "I only want to help.." The brunette whispered to herself.

She walked back to her lunch sadly and sat down. She began eating her lunch alone or at least she believed she was alone.

Lucy was the only one there, sitting right beside the oblivious brunette with wide enchanted eyes. She could feel something flowing within the girl and also around her, literally.

This 'Rachel' girl had a glowing gold light shimmering around her.

No mortal would be able to see it but Lucy could. This brunette is the first person Lucy has ever seen shine like this. She could feel something pulling her to the brunette.

"Who are you?" Lucy whispered in awe.

Rachel's head snapped up in surprise and confusion. She looked back and forth but no one was there.

Lucy watched the girl in fascination, wondering if this girl actually heard her thought like Quinn could but felt disappointed when Rachel continued to eat.

Just as Lucy was going to speak again she felt her stomach churn and immediately felt herself being pulled in another direction.

Quinn needed her.
