We had some good ideas about Homecoming theme, let's see what Eric chooses!
Chapter- 4
BPOV
Oh my God Edward Cullen hugged me! Okay... so I hugged him, but he hugged me back! Squeezed against his body I could feel the hard planes of his muscles, built up from years of swimming. I wondered if he had a six pack hidden under his hoodie. Maybe Rose and I could check out one of his swim meets. To cheer on the team of course.
His lips quirked at the side as I sat back down. Long lashes accentuating an alluring look in his eyes. I would have done anything to get him to lean over and kiss me. Forcing myself to look toward the movie at the front of the room I tried to get my hormones under control. I failed miserably. A fantasy of climbing onto his lap and pushing my lips against his made it impossible for me to focus on anything other than him. Subconsciously I'd tilted my body until the side of my denim clad knee brushed against the side of his. The simple touch was enough to send a jolt of electricity through me. A short burst of air filled my lungs. He sat up straighter and his hand twitched, had he felt it too?
When class ended I caught Edward's eyes lingering on my chest as I leaned over to pick up my book bag. Smirking, I drew out the motion watching his expression the entire time. His eyes darkened as he licked his lips. Even if Rosalie wasn't right about him liking me he definitely noticed me. His gaze snapped up to my face when I stood and his cheeks instantly flushed scarlet knowing he'd been caught.
"I'll see you later Edward." I smiled and sauntered out of class.
"Yah, bye Bella," he mumbled after me.

"Alright Guys, so glad you could all join us! Let's jump in!" Eric Yorkie enthusiastically started the first meeting of the Homecoming committee.
"I'm waiting for him to vanish and reappear on the other side of the room," Edward whispered in my ear. I stifled my laugh behind my hand. Eric surprised both of us a few days earlier as we left Bio by appearing out of thin air to follow up on his request. The guy was going to give someone a heart attack.
"We've got a couple different sub committees we need chairs for. If we can divide the duties I think we'll be a lot more efficient." He handed Angela a sign up list to pass around the room. "Also we need a theme ASAP! Give me your best ideas!"
"Under the Sea?" Jessica offered.
"God no, that's been done to death! Anyone else?" Eric asked, Jessica crossed her arms with a huff.
"What about fairy tales? We could have a princess and prince charming theme, and like forest decorations. Oh! And we could have the chaperones dress as evil witches and hand out witches brew punch!" Kate Denali clapped in excitement.
"Um, okay. Any other ideas?" Eric looked less than sold.
"What about back in time?" I asked. "We could give each grade a decade for spirit week?"
"Hmmm, I don't hate it, good suggestion Bella!"
"Thanks," I muttered.
"What decade would you give Juniors?" Edward leaned in to ask.
"Eighties for sure."
"So neon windbreakers and aviators?"
"I'd go with a perm and leg warmers myself," I giggled.
"Nice."
"So far Bella's idea is the best," Eric said, dismissing someone's suggestion of doing a sports theme. "But it might be too complicated to incorporate multiple decades into the dance itself."
"What if we did one decade?" Edward asked.
"That could work, but which one?"
"Eighties." He grinned at me.
My modified back in time theme passed our committee vote with only Jessica voting no, still nursing the sting from Eric's rejection. Theme set, Eric started a discussion on spirit week events.
"What subcommittee were you thinking of joining?" Edward held the sign up sheet running his finger down the options. I got distracted for a moment watching the graceful movement.
"Oh, um, what's left?"
"Decorations, which honestly I don't really want to do." I made a face, I wasn't interested in taking on the job either. "Um, tickets and advertisement… refreshments?" He looked at me with raised brows.
"I could do refreshments."
"We can probably ask my mom for help too. She was alive in the eighties. She should know what people ate back then."
"What people ate back then? Edward we're not talking the sixteen eighties, I'm pretty sure they had Doritos and Kool Aid."
"Yah, but do you know?"
"Okay we'll ask your mom," I said, rolling my eyes. He was ridiculous.
"Um... maybe you could come over and we could work on it?" He fidgeted with the clipboard glancing my way for only a split second while he spoke.
"Sure, yah! That would be great, when?"
"Um, today's Thursday… what about Saturday? We've got an extra practice at nine am but I should be done around ten."
"That works well, I don't have practice. I mean, obviously, I don't do anything that I'd need to practice." I rambled. The excitement over going to Edwards house made me dumb.
"Okay, cool. If you want I can drive you, my house is kind of hard to find…"
"Yah absolutely, actually I can meet you at the pool. It's right around the corner from my house."
"Okay awesome."
"Awesome."
"Hey are you two done with the clipboard yet? Some of us actually want to go home today," Kate scoffed. Edward scrawled our names under "refreshments" and handed it over.

"What about this?" I stepped out of my closest in a brown corduroy skirt and a green henley top. Rosalie appraised the outfit motioning for me to spin.
"Cute but what about that dark blue V-neck you still haven't worn."
"Rose! It's too low cut!"
"No it's not, remember Bella you're trying to get him to ask you out! You have to give him some idea of what you're offering!"
"Oh my God, what exactly do you think I'm offering?" She quirked an eyebrow. "Ugh fine." I swapped tops and stepped back out.
"Is this better?"
"You look in the mirror and tell me," she said with a smirk.
The full length mirror on the back of my closet door showed a version of me I wasn't used to. It was a sexier amped up Bella. My skirt was short and hugged my butt but wouldn't be classified as slutty. The long sleeved V-neck accentuated my curves and showed off a decent amount of cleavage.
"Okay but what if his mom is there? I don't want Mrs. Cullen to think I'm a slut."
"First of all no one thinks you're a slut. Second of all Esme loves you. Do you remember the end of the year pool party in eighth grade? When Jessica was being a total bitch and making fun of you for not wearing a two piece. What did Esme do?"
"Told Jessica that classy women know how to get attention without having to put on a show. But that's my point! Isn't this showing off too much?" I gestured to my boobs.
"Bella, you're hopeless. Just wear the damn shirt okay?"
I turned back to the mirror, studying myself again. The outfit did look good. Remembering Edward's reaction to my cleavage in bio gave me a boost of confidence. Having that kind of power over him was intoxicating. Hopefully Rosalie's plan would work.
A/N: Next chapter we get to see more of the dynamics in the Cullen home! Love the fam!
Keep the feedback coming, I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone!
