Chapter: 4
Training Starts in the Four Blues

As Bell-mère and Nojiko were being forcefully taken away by the Arlong Pirates. Shanks was holding back an enraged Luffy and Nami trying his best to drag them away from the nightmare that they were watching with little success. Luffy and Nami became so enraged that both of their Conquerors Haki started to spill out and cover the home and grove in an air that made all of the Arolang Pirates to stop and shiver from the pure anger in the air. Arlong himself stopped to look around and try to find where the anger was coming from.
"Men get back to the park now!" Arlong yells to his whole pirate crew.
"But Arlong what about the other villages we still need to" started Chew but was immediately cut off by Arlong
"I dont give a damn about any other villages right now all i care about is finding the person on this island who can use that damn haki.
Arlong along with his crew took Bell-mère and Nojiko and went back to the park where they live and locked the two up. Luffy and Nami having scared the crap out of Arlong seem to be a little happier about leaving the village with Shanks and his crew.
Once the Arlong Pirates were gone some of the Red-Haired Pirates came out and helped Shanks get Luffy and Nami to the Red Force. As the Red-Haired Pirates got Luffy and Nami to the Red Force they set sail right away. Luffy and Nami were huddled up in a corner of the ship balling their eyes out now that they couldn't see Arlong or any of his pirates, until Cocoyashi Village was out of sight where they both stopped crying because the pain was slowly dying out and turning into fuel to train to become so strong that when they do come back Arlong won't know what hit him until he's done for. As the Conomi Islands were no longer visible for the two young kids both felt good enough to get up and look around the ship. They both saw that they were now on a galleon classed ship with a bunch of palm trees on board as soon as Nami saw that she turned to Luffy with eyes that show sadness and a bit of sweetness.
"Hey Luffy when we get our own ship we should do that but with Bell-mères tangerine trees.
"That's a great idea Nami we have to do that." Luffy said while putting his arm around Namis waist.
The two looked around the ship finding the kitchen, quarters, and storage among many other rooms they found a room for training and the captains quarter, but what caught both of them by surprise was that there was only one open bed in the main quarters. They both agreed to sleep outside with each other instead of one of them taking the bed. Shanks saw the two just wandering around; he walked up to the two with a small smirk on his face.
"It's good to see you guys in better spirits I know what just happened is hard for you both but, after your training the half bit pirate won't know what he got himself into by taking them." Shanks told Luffy and Nami.
"That's right Shanks so we better start right now" Luffy said enthusiastically.
"That's right, the sooner we start, the sooner we'll start getting stronger" Nami added with her own excitement.
"Well, you both seem so excited to get started i'll give you the rundown of your training then we'll start in the morning sorry you two i know you want to start right away but you'll have to wait until the morning" Shanks said.
Shanks then started to give them the rundown of the training that they'll be going through. He started to tell them that the training will be split up into three parts: the first part is in the four blues then there will be the next two parts that are within the Grand Line. Shanks continued to tell them about how long they'll be in each part of training with it being that they'll be staying in the four blues for the next three years then we'll spend 2 and a half years in both halves of the grand line.
After Luffy and Nami were told what the training will be and the time frame Shanks told them to just relax for the night. Luffy and Nami then spent the rest of the day running around and playing with each other. The two started to feel sleepy and found a nice spot near the figurehead and cuddled up next to each other with a blanket and started to pass out. Shanks came walking around the deck and saw the two. Another small smile crept on his face as he walked over to the two and picked them both up and bright them to the captains quarters and laid them both down in his bed as he walked to the crews quarters and took up the extra bed there.
***The Next Morning***
Luffy and Nami both woke up early in the morning finding themselves in a warm bed inside the captain's quarters. Luffy went out to the deck while Nami took a shower and got ready. Luffy spent his time on top of the Red Forces dragon figurehead. While Luffy was atop the dragon he was getting a head start on training by meditating. Nami just finished getting ready for the day she came out wearing a pair of jean short shorts and a red tank top. Nami slowly walked up behind Luffy.
"Hey cutie it's your turn to get ready," Nami said to Luffy in a cute and sexy voice.
Luffy jumped backwards and landed right in front of Nami. Nami let out a cute little laugh as Luffy got up and grabbed Nami and pulled her close to him with a big smile on his face, but unseen to them Shanks also got up rather early and got a whole show in the morning. Luffy gave Nami a quick kiss on the forehead and ran off to get ready for the day taking a shower and changing his clothes. After about thirty minutes Luffy came walking out of the Captains quarters wearing some clothes Shanks gave him, when Nami turned around she was stunned by Luffy's new look Luffy came out wrings a pair of long black jeans and a red button up shirt tucked into his jeans with a yellow slash around his waist sandals and his straw hat. Nami slowly walks up to Luffy and grabs him and puts him into a hug.
"I take that as you like my new look then babe." Luffy asks Nami.
"Yes I do, what about me Luffy do you like my new look?" Nami asks with a small hint of fear in her heart.
"No matter what you wear you'll always look beautiful to me Nami." Luffy said to Nami. which caused Nami to blush madly with Luffy having his hands behind his head laughing "Shishishi"
'Now I see Luffy you love her and know how to show it you just don't know what it is you're feeling' Shanks thought to himself.
Luffy and Nami let go of each other and turned to look out to the sea. Nami put her head on Luffy's shoulder and they both just stood there waiting for Shanks or someone on the crew to wake up. Shanks decided to come out of hiding and walked up to the two of them.
"Well you two look ready to train," Shanks said as he walked up to them.
Luffy and Nami both turned around and saw Shanks. They both grow big smiles on their faces. Luffy and Nami both started their training. Shanks started to explain their training even more now. "OK so this is how it will be going you guys will be training together first up will be basic training (how to be a captain and a navigator) and swordsmanship along with haki and devil fruit training with me from 0600 to 1200 then you'll get 30 minutes for lunch then you'll be going to Benn Buckman for basic knowledge, medical, and navigation training, from 1230 to 1900 then you'll be sent to Yasopp for marksmanship training, from 1900 to 2100 then your last stop will be with Lucky Roux who teach you how to fight. From 2100 to 0000 You'll both put your all into this training and for the next three years from the start time to when you go to bed you'll both be ours to train and nothing else. From that day Luffy and Namis' lives were in the hands of Shanks and his crew.
***One Year into Training***
After the first year of training both Luffy and Nami have become stronger then anyone would have ever thought, being able to destroy whole fleets of marines by themselves at only their young ages of 10 for Luffy and 11 for Nami. As the Red Haired Pirates were sailing in the south blue they came up against two fleets that were on patrol after getting reports of more pirate activity.
"I am Ensign Bargottoe and in the name of justice I'll bring you pirates to Impel Down!" the newly named Ensign yelled out with a fleet behind him.
"Not without me Ensign Batco we'll both bring you down in the name of justice." Yelled another Ensign with her own fleet.
The Red Haired Pirates all looked at the Ensigns Bargottoe is seen wearing a white suit with a blue tie and his justice cloak flowing behind him and Batco with a white miniskirt and a white short sleeve button up shirt with a blue necktie along with her justice cloak flowing behind her.
"Ok Luffy and Nami you're up, time to see the results of your training after only a year." Shanks said to both Luffy and Nami.
Luffy walked up with Nami to his left in the same clothes as when they started their training with the addition of two swords on Luffy's right and a pistol on his left along with Nami having a bow staff hooked on her right leg along with a single sword and a pistol on her left. "No problem Shanks but are there any restrictions?" Luffy asked.
"No devil fruit nor haki not yet" was all Shanks said back.
Luffy and Nami both nod and then in a flash vanished within a blink of an eye Luffy reappeared in front of Bargottoe and Nami in front of Batco. It took a total of ten minutes for both Luffy and Nami to destroy both fleets in the way of the Red Haired Pirates.
Between the two of them they have destroyed four fleets of marines led by Ensigns. Luffy and Nami both took on a fleet by themselves and fought the ensign in charge they only had to fight two fleets at a time, on top of that they had no help from the Red Haired Pirates. After the first year with Shanks Luffy and Nami have made a small name for themselves and earned them both a bounty and on top of that for how they fight and act with each other a bounty for the capture of them both alive for making themselves appear as a couple with makes them all the more dangerous.

***Foosha village***
The whole village of Foosha celebrated seeing that not only was Luffy ok but he got himself a "girlfriend" who was also a pirate so either way they would both get hunted down together. The only person who didn't join in on the celebration was the mayor of the village because he was too busy complaining about how that whole family was insane and that this would bring nothing but trouble for the village.
***Two Years into Training***
The second year of training for Luffy and Nami was even harder with them continuing to take down fleets by themselves and working harder to control their power. With them both making it to the point where they could wipe out two whole fleets led by Lieutenants. They never stopped training even if they were given time off by Shanks they would do their own training by weather sparing or working on what they needed to work on where they were slacking. Shanks saw everything they did and would alway smile whenever he saw them doing their own thing but wished they would relax every now and then, but what Shanks didn't know is they do relax every now and then.
Luffy and Nami both decide on one day that they'll both only do Shanks training and none of their own and instead they walk the ship hand in hand and just enjoy the time with each other.
"Hey Luffy you ready" Nami asked Luffy.
"Of Course i am Nami, let's go," Luffy said as he grabbed Nami's hand and started to wonder about the ship, not like they really need to after two full years on the same ship. Luffy and Nami usually walk to the front of the hip and cuddle up on the figurehead and talk about the week what they liked about it and what they didn't like about it looking out at the stars curled up next to each other for warmth.
"Hey Luffy what do you see when you look at the stars" Nami asked
Luffy gave her a weird look and then turned to look at the stars for about a minute then he started to speak "I see the thing that we'll surpass one day me and you" Luffy said as he pulled Nami closer to him.
Nami gave a quick blush then leaned her head on his shoulder. The two would sit there for hours on end until they got tired and most of the time Nami would pass out before Luffy leaving him to have to carry her to their room on the ship.

***Foosha village***
The whole village of Foosha celebrated once aging seeing that Luffy and his "girlfriend" increased their bounties. The only person who didn't join in on the celebration once again like he always does was the mayor of the village because once again he was too busy complaining about how that whole family and now a new "girlfriend" are insane and that this would bring nothing but trouble for the village in the future. But this time Makino stepped in and told the old man to lighten up and that she knows he misses Luffy too and seeing this wanted poster should make him happy seeing that Luffy is still ok and living his life the way he wants to and that there's nothing they can do to stop him.
***Three Years into Training***
The third year of training came and went for Luffy and Nami. They have both made bigger names for themself out there in the big world being called the Straw Hat Couple or The Demonic Duo or as individuals Straw Hat Luffy and Cat Burglar Nami. Nami got her name for stealing all of the treasure from the other pirates and Marines, Their training was still going strong but after the third year of training their bounties didn't get raised by any. Luffy and Nami now have full understanding of swordsmanship and marksmanship but Nami liked her bow staff better and Luffy took a liking to Nitōryū Iai. Luffy and Nami both kept getting closer and closer and as they got older now being 12 and 13 along with Shanks teaching Luffy about love on the side have come to a new level of their relationship with them working together more and having stronger emotions towards one another. There are times when Nami gets caught off guard and gets hit when that happens there's not a soul that would want to be around Luffy same goes for Nami when Luffy gets caught off guard. The two have come to be inseparable.
There was one time when Luffy and Nami were fighting four fleets of Marines and Nami was caught off guard and was hit across one of the marine ships which Luffy saw out of the corner of his eye.
"NAMI" Luffy yelled at the top of his lungs.
Luffy's body began to shake from the anger of his Nami getting hit as the wind blew across the ships as Luffy's body slowly started to spark red lighting. Luffy was soon consumed with the anger he felt and soon lost control over his body as he released his Conquerors Haki at full force dropping all four fleets to the ground unconscious and foaming out of their mouths except for the higher ranking men who were few and far between. Luffy quickly made it to Namis' side just as she was standing up and was in front of her guarding her from any other harm that might come her way. Along with making a huge thunderstorm of red lighting which set fire to all ships within the fleets except the one that both Luffy and Nami were on which forced all of the still conscious marines to run there. Once they were all there Luffy quickly dealt with them and got Nami back to the Red Force right after he set fire to the last ship there. Everyone looked shaken from what Luffy just did and Shanks had his head down shaking his head in a disappointed way.
***The Red Force Clam Belt***
The Red Force was now sailing in the calm belt by Luffy and Nami along with the crew using paddles because Luffy and Nami wouldn't stop whining that they wanted their first time going up reverse mountain to be with their crew and their own ship so Shanks gave up and had his men brave the clam belt to enter the Grand Line to further the twos training. Once again Shanks shook his head but this time with a bit more joy to it.
Thank you all for looking forward to the new chapters. I'm glad that you all or at least most of you are enjoying the story. There is some other details that i didn't put into the story which are how they get from one blue to another while i was looking at a map of the One Piece world i decided that just like with fishman island there's underwater passages that Pirates can take to get on the other side of the red line then there's Shanks who can also cross the calm belt and that's how that is down next up is the training in the Grand Line what new things will Luffy and Nami run into. Sorry changed my mind about the way the bounties are going to start off.
