"CHARLOTTE"
A few seconds before…
"I love you guys so much," Charlotte whispered, looking at their eyes of fear.
She pull herself and Bianca who made her trip and fell off them down to the pit of dangerous chemicals as the two superheroes screamed in despair.
"Kid, no!" Ray cradled Henry in his arms and hugged him so hard that Henry might escape and save her.
It was too late, she made a sacrifice. All the cops call for backup, medic, and detectives, no wonder why they can't save them.
Henry turned around and cried on his shoulder, Ray patted his back as he shred a tear that his now-called daughter is gone. She was a true hero who save both of them, technically.
"Dammit Charlotte, why did you leave me again?" Henry shouted when he turned his body around and slam his fist on the ground, crying his eyes out.
"Kid-" Ray sniffed.
"She was my life, I love her so much that we may have a future together. I know it sounds crazy, but I love her all in my heart. Without her, I'm- I'm nothing." He confessed, putting his head onto the ground and crying.
"Nothing?" Ray asked, wrapping his arms on his shoulder.
"When I first met her, she was beautiful. I can't describe the exact feeling I have for her. She gave a soft heart, she helps me finish my work, hang out together, and- um, she used her intelligence to find you. I mean, if I haven't met her you know the alternative to this. She sacrificed for us, Ray."
"I understand, Kid. I have a lot of stories to tell you."
"Nah, Charlotte told me everything after I find out that she worked with Drex." Henry smiled sadly at Ray.
"Somebody help?" The police officer yelled.
Henry's heart rate went high, he quickly stood up and walked over to see that Charlotte was alive.
"Hi, a little help here?" She coughed, she was holding the broken rod for dear life.
"Captain!" Kid Danger yelled, Captain Man quickly came to his side. They both reached their arms as Charlotte grabbed Henry's then Ray's arm. They both lifted her and she kneed down on the ground safely, Henry hugged her all his mighty.
"Alright, I guess we should let them have a moment." Ray yelled at the cops and then whispered to Charlotte, "We will make this up when everything is resolved."
"Charlotte, why didn't you yell? What happened to Bianca?" Henry frantically asked her various questions.
"First *cough* my throat hurts from inhaling all this puff of smoke and secondly, Bianca is weak, she couldn't grip me when I grabbed the broken rod." She explained, caressing his cheek.
"So, that means you heard everything I said a few minutes ago?" Henry scoffed at his stupidity.
"Yeah, I love you so much too." She whispered intimately, Henry watched her leading forward and so does he.
They finally kiss, and after a long complicated love confusion, they kiss.
Seconds later, they broke apart. Henry got up as he held her and help her up. They got downstairs inside the building and open the front entrance. Some cops are still pointing guns at Charlotte, Captain tried his best to explain to them when the detectives and the other ignored him and wait for the court case.
"It will be okay Charlotte, we will always be here," Henry assured her, letting her go when she walked to one of the detectives and turned around. He cuffed her and then bring to the cop car. Henry walked over to her for the last time a while.
"I kinda deserve this, I'm sorry for everything." Charlotte apologized, taking a deep breath to avoid that she was crying.
"We will meet again, I promise after all of this is over," Henry spoke up. The police starts the car, then drove away.
Captain Man talks to others and then quickly came to Kid Danger's side, "We will definitely fix this mess, we will get her back."
"Thanks, Cap." He replied and patted his shoulder, looking at the Mountain with the Swellview signs on it with a starry night sky.
A few weeks later…
"That is how I bust my sister's ass," Charlotte spoke making the crew of women laugh. For many weeks that she had been in jail and she was confident that she beat a man with giant muscles and beat who tried to bully her. Charlotte made this jail seems easy for her thanks to her Stepfather who taught her so well.
"I'm sure she is in Hell now." The woman with a scared eye spoke.
"I bet she is."
"Have your boyfriend contacted you?" The sweet girl asked, she is cute inside but more evil on the outside, psychologically.
"He is trying, this jail doesn't let him contract with me since I'm the dangerous criminal in Swellview," Charlotte replied, looking at the sky for the moment.
"Charlotte Page!" The guard yelled.
"I think he did it, I guess." The scared eye smirked and the little girl did the kissing face.
"Y'all are a tease." Charlotte stuck her tongue out, walking back inside the place.
"You have five minutes." The guard led her to the telephone where all the people talked through the phone communicator, Charlotte started to smile when she saw Henry.
Henry waved as she walk and took a seat. She took the telephone when Henry does his.
"Hey, baby, what took so long?" Charlotte started.
"They don't let me reach you until Schwoz fixes the system. It's stupid that they didn't even notice the change." Henry smirked then continued, "How are you doing in jail, baby?"
"I'm doing great, you know me that beat everyone's asses."
"I knew you would." Henry laughed, licking his lips.
"Thirsty much? Get some water."
"Also, your court case is coming and I have planned everything to get you out of here."
"Aww, I can't wait to have you back."
"We always have each other's back, Char."
"One minute!" The guard yelled at her.
"Has he been treating you badly?" Henry questioned, growling at the guard.
"Don't worry, my crew planned a surprise for him. I will make him regret and beg for me."
"Up to you, also you have a lot to confess when you get out of this jail. My sister has all piled up emotions and Jasper feels left out and then Ray just waiting for you. I'm sure Schwoz is fine." Henry explained as Charlotte nodded her head.
"I gotta go, they might restrict me again. Love you baby." Charlotte hung the telephone and put her left hand on the glass as Henry does the same with his right hand. They wished there was no window so that they can touch each other no matter the distractions.
Charlotte get up and led out the door to another room, Henry sat there for a few seconds, missing her.
He will sure get her back soon.
