Chapter: 8
The Straw Hat Couples' Strength

I felt that this chapter was just way to short same with the next so i put the chapters together hope everyone likes the changings and sorry again that its been taking a little to get the chapters out to you guys but well get back where we left off in no time at all just two more chapters to update and on to new story
Coby looked at the two-run in different directions, Nami for the restaurant that they ate at when they first got to the island and Luffy for the Navy Base where he decided to throw Helmeppo. After Luffy asked Coby if he could please help Nami he started to run after Nami with both fear and a little bit of respect for Luffy. Coby and Nami ran to the little restaurant and started to order food. While Nami and Coby were ordering food Luffy started his run to the base to which he lobbed Helmeppo onto the Roof where at that moment almost all of the soldiers were and they were heaving up a giant statue of someone.
"HEAVE! HEAVE!" Yelled a man from the roof.
As the soldiers were lifting the statue of the same man yelling, one of them slipped. 'Klunk' was the only thing that was heard when the statue bumped into an entrance to the tower they were standing on. All of the men looked terrified and turned their heads to the man that was just yelling to see his face was looking straight at the soldier that slipped and was glaring death at him.
"What was that? Did you just try to break my Great Statue?" the man asked the soldier.
No sir I'm sorry we w-were c-c-carless the soldier studded out.
"SWINE! Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting to see this statue to be finished?" the man asked again to the soldier.
"S-s-sorry sir ill pay anything to have it fixed," the soldier said full of fear.
"This statue is like my person scratching it is the same as attacking me!" the man yelled
Helmeppo came crashing down right in front of the giant statue. Helmeppo got up and saw his dad and ran to him. Luffy was getting close to the base and then jumped up into the air. While in the air Luffy sent both of his hands to the top of the building and pulled himself to the top. Luffy landed behind all of the Navy soldiers.
"Let this be a warning to you all!" yelled the man. As he swings his axe hand down on the soldier killing him.
"Daddy Straw Hat Luffy hit me. I want you to kill him now," Helmeppo said in a cry baby voice.
"You come to me for everything, why should I kill whoever you say I'M THE GRATE ONE HERE NOT YOU" Morgan yelled as he swung his arm and sent him to the ground. "I've never hit you because you're not even worth my time but Straw hat and his little bitch they will bring me a nice reward."
"Do you know if she's here with him?" asked The Great Captain Morgan.
"Why do you want to know if my Nami is here or not," Luffy asked in a low tone that showed off his power.
The man slowly turned around and came face to face with this Luffy. Morgan is a notably tall, muscular man with tanned skin, blonde hair, and a steel jaw etched with the word Möwe (the German for "seagull") his right hand has been replaced with a huge steel axe, the handle of which seems to have been bolted through the bones of his forearm. He wears a large, ornate overcoat but lacks the usual "Justice" and is completely sleeveless; it is also worn conventionally, instead of being draped over the shoulders like a cape. His trousers bear a striped pattern reminiscent of Marine Bases and battleships.
"Straw Hat Luffy just by you being here Me the Great Captain Axe-Hand Morgan am ordering your execution along with that bitch of a girlfriend you have." the man now known as Axe-Hand Morgan said.
Luffy's face slowly turned from a carefree one to one of someone that's been pushed over the limit of anger. Luffy slowly was letting out his Conqueror Haki but not at anyone just around them. The air was turned to a feeling of hate and anger. Pure darkness surrounded everyone and everything as Luffy kept letting it out. Soon the whole island could feel the hate and anger coming off of Luffy. There was so much hate and anger that all of the Marines that were trying to stand up the statue all let go of the ropes and the statue of the Great Captain Morgan came tumbling down.
***Nami and Coby***
Nami and Coby finished getting the food and started to run to where Zoro was being held. As they were running Luffy's anger made it to where they were and as Nami felt her love's anger and hate she dropped to her knees and started to cry also sending off her own wave of Conquerors Haki but of pure sadness not darkness like Luffy. Soon the whole island was overcome by the pure sadness and darkness given off by Luffy and Nami. Everyone around them either started to shiver and fall from the pain and coldness that the darkness brough and others started to break down and cry like Nami.
"Nami what is this? It feels so dark?" Coby asked Nami. as she started to shiver and buckle at the knees.
Nami looked up at Coby still crying a little bit and told him " Its Luffy's anger and hate... someone must have said or done something to piss him off where he feels the need to make everyone around him feel just how pissed he is, and if you look around almost everyone is shivering on the ground your doing better then most would because of how mad Luffy is and then on top of that they can also feel how sad I am right now because I let off my own wave not of anger, but of sadness so ther are some also crying for no reasing because I'm sad that Luffy feels the need to not only show the people that he's with, but the whole island just how pissed he is right now." Nami told Coby with a small smile that quickly turned into a frown.
***Luffy***
You made me make my Nami sad" Luffy said in a low murderous tone.
"You did that all on your own kid" Morgan said with a smirk then yelled, "GET HIM!"
"YES SIR… AYE AYE SIR" All of the soldiers yelled but stayed right where they were out of fear from Luffy's waves of anger and hate.
Shishishishi Luffy started to laugh "you think they can get me then your even more stupid then I thought," Luffy said still in his low murderous tone.
Luffy then glared at Morgan and said "I'll deal with you later" he grabbed both of his swords and gave an evil looking smirk to the man, and then Luffy ran and grabbed Helmeppo and started to run around the base looking for Zoro's swords. As Luffy started to run with Helmeppo he let go of his haki and everyone felt the anger and hate leave the area. Luffy started to run and then yelled at Helmeppo ``WHERE THE HELL ARE ZORO'S SWORDS, YOU BASTARD!" Helmeppo, full of fear, told him that they were in his room back the other way about five-doors down. Luffy stopped running and slammed his fist right into Helmeppo's face and sent him flying where he said that Zoro's swords where and in a blink of an eye Luffy was in front of Helmeppo's door and put up his left leg to let Helmeppo slam into his foot in order to stop the flying Helmeppo.
***Nami and Coby***
As soon as Nami felt Luffy's anger leave she dropped her wave of sadness. They both got back up and started to run for Zoro once again. When they made it there Zoro looked up at them.
"What is it now Nami I already told you and Luffy ill join after my time here," Zoro said clearly a little mad that Nami came back and with food
"There's no point in trying to argue about this. Luffy told me to tell you that you'll have your swords back in no time and then he ran off to the base," Nami said as she untied Zoro
"NO, I have to…" Zoro started to say but was cut off by Nami.
"Look Helmeppo was going to kill you in three days Luffy punched him and sent him flying to the base then ran after him most likely to get your swords back and he told me to give you food so you have the strength to fight with us… I feel like Luffy might be starting a war with this Morgan guy and if so, he's going to lose big time," Nami said with a smile on her face.
"What do you mean... Morgan is super strong there's no way he would lose big time," Coby asked Nami.
"Don't you guys remember that feeling you guys felt just a little bit ago, well there's only two reasons Luffy would do that and they are either because Morgan said something bad about me or something happened to his Straw Hat… it felt more like someone said something about me because even I have never seen Luffy's hat get damaged before and I don't want to see what would happen if it ever does hell he won't even let me wear it," Nami said with a little pout.
Zoro and Coby thought about what they felt and what Nami was saying Luffy won't let his girlfriend wear his hat and she's afraid of what would happen if his hat ever gets damaged that's wilded.
***Luffy***
Luffy then ran into the room of Helmeppo with a quick look around. It looked very neat and also like a girl was the one who lived there and not Helmeppo but he saw the three swords in there that belong to his FirstMate Zoro. Luffy then grabbed the swords and looked out the window to see a group of soldiers who all had their weapons pointed at Nami and only Nami. Luffy's anger rose again and with that, another wave of Haki full of anger came across the whole island in seconds. Everything and everyone then stopped what they were doing because of the feeling they were feeling. Luffy then jumped out of the window with the swords and landed right in front of everyone.
"What the hell did I tell you, Morgan, I would deal with you later," Luffy said in an even lower and more murderous tone.
Morgan shouted out loud "Fire." All the soldiers fired at once Nami in front of Zoro and Coby and Luffy in front of Nami. Luffy placed his hand on his King's Wrath and with what it looked like he cut every bullet in half making sure none of the bullets hit any of his friends without even drawing it. Nami smirked and leaned in to whisper in Luffy's ear.
"Babe, those men tried to hurt me" Nami whispered to Luffy with a half-smirk and half pout.
"Don't worry sweetie, no one tries to hurt my Nami and gets away with it.
Luffy released his haki and turned the whole battleground into a nightmare for all of the men standing in front of Morgan. Every last one of Morgan's men dropped to the ground unconscious. Morgan dropped to a knee as Luffy slowly started to walk up to him. Morgan Looked up at Luffy and spoke.
"You're a MONSTER with that you need to be killed, no jail would be good enough for you!" Morgan yelled with pure anger at Luffy
Morgan swing his axe at Luffy who caught in with his fingers coated in black then shaders his axe to pieces.
Luffy grabbes his shoulder and squeezed it with only his pointer finger and thumb breaking his shoulder or more like sharding his bone to tiny pieces. Luffy leaned down and whispered in his ear "No one ever HURTS my Nami or even tries to HURT her." Luffy said in that same low and murderous tone. Luffy then unsheathed his King's Wrath. Luffy placed it to Morgans' neck and before anything happened Luffy spun the sword around for the blunt side of the sword and taped Morgan on the side of the head knocking him unconscious.
Luffy turned around to see Nami smiling again and Zoro standing beside her with Cody's jaw all the way on the ground in shock, now wondering how much more he would do for the hat that rested on top of his head if that's how far he would go for Nami.
Lets go to that restaurant and get a bite to eat before we head off you're more than welcome to join us for a bit too Coby. The four then went back to the restaurant to get a bite to eat and get some supplies.
"Damn nine whole days without food was a lot worst then I really thought" Zoro laugh while eating some more food to fill him completely
"Shishishi it may have been bad but you would have lasted. I know you could have done it, Zoro," Luffy said while patting Zoro on the back with Nami in Luffy's lap.
"So are you guys always that close or is this just every now and then thigh?" Zoro asked while nodding at Luffy and Nami.
"We love each other and we have no problem showing it," Nami said with a light blush on her face.
"I see well so be it I don't really care all too much," Zoro said again laughing.
"What will you guys do now?" Coby asked
"Well we have to go and get our sniper and hopefully a cook along with a musician shishishi," Luffy said with a big grin on his face.
The four were then just having fun and talking about whatever they wanted to for the next couple of hours. Everyone was having fun and all before a group of Marines came in.
"Excuse me "Straw Hat Luffy and Cat Burglar Nami" we have to ask that you two leave now, but because you did save us all from Captain Morgan we won't report you guys to HQ." one of the Marines said
The whole town became enraged shouting at the Marines about how they hated Morgan just as much as they did. Luffy sent out a wave of calming over the whole town calming everyone down. Luffy then looked up at the marine in front of him.
"I see well that's no problem and thanks that will help with getting our crew together letsr go guy" Luffy said with a light laugh "Shishishi".
Luffy and Nami stood hand in hand with Zoro and started to walk out of the little restaurant. Luffy stopped and turned to the young woman who owns the restaurant. "Ma'am thank you for the meal," Luffy said with a grin on his face and then started to walk again.
"Aren't you going with them?" the Marine asked Coby.
"I- I'm not one of them," Cob told the Marine
"Straw Hat is that true?" the Marine asked
"Hmmm oh ya let me explain about that" Luffy said with a smirk
Luffy walked up to Coby and started "You see there was this secret island that Alvida, a big fat pirate was on.
'Oh no please don't Luffy if they know about her i'll never into the Marines' Coby thought
"She was really mean and for the past two years this little brat…" Luffy started
'No Luffy Don't' Coby shouted in his head until he yelled "SHUT UP!" and punched Luffy as hard as he could. While Luffy is forcing his body to not turn to red lighting.
Luffy laid on the ground laughing to himself with a huge smile on his face. Zoro and Nami smiled at this. Luffy then jumped up and yelled "Why You" and swag at Coby hitting him straight in his face after the first hit he continued to hit Coby ever ever ever lightly.
"ENOUGH, Stop disturbing the peace that you've made here you damn pirate!" the Marine yelled.
Nami then grabbed Luffy's hand and spun him around to face her and planted a passionate kiss on Luffy, Nami and Luffy stood there not even really caring about anyone else and just embraced each other and kept kissing each other. They stayed like that until they both needed air and broke apart and then started to walk again.
"It's very clear that you guys aren't friends now, leave this town please!" the Marine yelled again.
``That was his plan all along to get me to hit him… here I am still needing his help" Coby thought.
Luffy turned around to look at the Marine and said " Hey he wants to join the Marines send him to Vice-Admiral Garp and if I hear that he never made it to my gramps then I'll have to come back here and destroy this whole place.
Luffy, Nami, and Zoro made it down to the docks and got on their boat "That wasn't that good Luffy are you sure they will do what you told them to do" Zoro asked Luffy
"Well, either way, it's going to happen, that's Coby's dream I'm sure he'll find a way," Luffy said.
Coby ran up to the docks shouting out to them "L-Lu -Lu Luffy."
All three of them looked at Cboy as he ran up to them.
"THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU DID FOR ME I'LL NEVER FORGET IT!" Coby yelled and gave a smart salute to the three of them. Every other Marine came out and also saluted them as they set sail.
"That's a first Marines sauteing pirates," Zoro said with a small smirk.
"We'll meet Coby again!" Luffy yelled.
"You've got some good friends their sailor and some powerful backing already in the Marines with his grandfather," the Marine said
"Yes sir," Coby said back to the Marine
Luffy now having his FirstMate and Navigator are setting sail on the hunt for the sniper of their crew along with a couple more so they can set off to the Grand Line once again.
